If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Long story short they screwed up royally and now my cat is puking up worms. I recently adopted a cat from the shelter, a couple days after adoption I took her to central animal hospital for a check up and to receive her remaining shots/doses, etc. She told me everything was fine and all the cat needed was a rabies shot. I'd had my kitty for a couple of days now and I'd noticed a lot of gunk in her ear (leftovers from a completed mite treatment). I had to specifically ask the vet to clean her ears otherwise she wouldn't have done it. They charged me $40 for the ear swab alone. Now, a couple of months later my cat is puking up round worms the poor thing. I called the shelter to ask if they deworm their cats. They told me yes, it's one of the first things they do. Looking at my cats medical history from the shelter I can see that they did in fact administer Ivomec. but she was due for a second does around the same time I took my cat the vet. I called the vet and spoke to them and after getting in touch with the manager was very upset. To begin the receptionist came up with multiple ways to pass the blame before finally passing the issue on to a manager. The manager then tried to avoid talking to me saying she was too busy and that she would call me in a couple of days. I had to remind the receptionist and manager multiple times that my cat was puking up worms, and that I could not wait an indefinite number of days for them to get back to me. After getting on the phone with her I explained the situation and the mistake as calmly and politely as possible. Then the manager tried telling the me that the shelter doesn't de-worm, and my cat probably got if from another cat, or from being outside etc. Except my cat doesn't go outside, is my only cat, doesn't have fleas, etc. I told her that I already called the shelter to ask if they de-wormed my cat, and the manager insisted on arguing with me. Essentially claiming that the shelter had lied to me which I don't believe they had. All I was asking was that they provide the first dose free of charge to right their own mistake. Instead, the manager refused to take responsibility for her companies mistake and kept blaming everyone else instead. I WILL NEVER TAKE MY CAT THERE AGAIN.

We took our dog Jack to this vet clinic to find out why he had blood in his urine. They charged us $200 to tell us he had kidney stones and said it was very urgent to remove. They provided us a quote of $1704 to do the surgery plus $1000 to pull some rotten teeth. We were contemplating putting our family pet down as we simply couldn't afford this. We were referred to and called Corman Park Veterinary and they pulled 26 teeth, removed the stones, provided medication and some food all for $700. How many people put down pets because of these exorbitant prices?

I do not recommend this vet clinic. They were very disrespectful and unwelcoming. I spoke with a vet for a total of 3 minutes. During that time the vet was not gentle with my dog and treated me as if I knew nothing about dogs. I was in the vet clinic for less than 10 minutes and was charged $220. I won't be back.

Some amazing people here, my dog unfortunately got into some chocolate and needed to have vomiting induced emergency, these guys took care of us and made sure I knew what to expect and what to watch for over the next day. They were also able to give me a quote over the phone that they came under and that was a huge plus for me. Staff were super friendly and it was easy to tell they all had passion for animals and keeping their owners informed. Another plus was being allowed in with my dog to comfort him while he was being treated, I understand with COVID that the safety of everyone comes first but they allowed me to be there and that was super important. I was also happy that they only had the required people in the treatment room at the time and the vet while attentive let the techs work without being over their shoulder too much Will definitely come back if god forbid something else happens but no offence hope to stay away from :)

In over 2 years at this clinic, my rescue dog, who had bad teeth upon adoption, did not once receive a full dental work up. After seeking a second opinion, we have discovered numerous dental issues, most of which could have prevented if we had been properly informed. Extremely disappointed in the low level of care and customer service at this clinic.

This place is butcher shop. Not caring, not compassionate and terrible terrible assistants. Would never EVER recommend taking your pet for surgery here! They put our dogs collar on tight around his neck, he ended up with a huge infection around his throat and they disregarded that they did they. Very disappointed with their service

Dr. Vanessa Tonn is the best vet I have ever had. When i awoke saturday morning before thanksgiving to head to Regina I realized my cat was very sick and in pain. The clinic was able to get me in immediately and kept my cat to ensure his health while I went to Regina. I have received numerous calls on his health and if money were an issue Dr. Tonn was willing to work with me to ensure he received the care required but was affordable. I live in Warman but will make the drive to Central from now on.

After 14 wonderful years with our family dog, her age was starting to really show, and her health deteriorating. Our vet Sarah was very compassionate through the whole process. She came to our house and gave us all the time we needed with our dog. While the decision was not easy to put down our dog, Sarah made us very comfortable and was very caring through the whole process. I would highly recommend Sarah for all of your vet needs!

Yesterday was an incredibly sad day for me. My dear kitty Jazzmine made her last visit to the vet, and I came home alone without her after 18.5 years together. It was a hard, sad day for me. But Dr. Sarah Batar, the office Manager Donna the receptionist and everyone else were phenomenal. Their caring and understanding was such a blessing through a difficult time.

My experience here was absolutely wonderful. I felt safe, considering the ongoing pandemic, and my dog had a great time. Dr. Ian Niu took care of us; we did a routine check up with vaccinations and considered dewormers as a preventative measure for the spring at the dog park. He treated my dog so kindly, was fun and caring, professional and courteous. Nova got many tasty treats and was definitely happy and not an ounce of fear. Ian walked me through many options, explaining clearly and succinctly what benefits there were to each, and ultimately helped me decide on the timeline and products that would work best for me and Nova. An amazing experience! Guaranteed would recommend booking in with him if you're looking for a vet.

We've taken various pets to Central over the years for various investigative procedures and / or surgeries our small town vet couldn't provide. There is none better than Dr. Gibbs and his staff. As to those who have complaints regarding the prices I would like to mention that a large staff and top end diagnostic equipment don't pay for themselves. I'd take my animals here again anytime.

I have mixed feelings about this veterinary hospital. We ended up taking our dog here in November because our normal vet was so booked up and he needed to be seen soon. The vet, Ian, was very good and we considered switching to them for because of him, better location and availability. He diagnosed our poor dog with bone cancer that was very painful (our dog couldn't walk anymore on his leg). So when we decided to not let him suffer we booked him in on a Saturday, late in the day so we had the day to be with him first. That day, I received a call from the clinic asking us to bump up the time to bring him in by several hours. Needless to say, I panicked and became very agitated. My thoughts were, "No I do not want to bring my dog in to die earlier than expected." I felt it was a a bit inconsiderate and heartless. We ended up cancelling the appointment and going to the vet college where you can walk in 24hours a day at no extra cost. We are currently staying with our normal vet due to this encounter.

I took my dog to central for his yearly check-up and vaccines. I had a great experience. We were treated very nicely by everybody. It was recommended that he have a dental cleaning which I had done shortly after. I am so glad that they use the best standard of care here. They take dental X-Rays for all cleanings and for this I am so thankful. He had 3 abscessed teeth that needed to be pulled that would not have been visible to the eye that were causing him a great deal of pain. I had no idea! I have been going there ever since and have seen all of the doctors (Dr. Lawrence, Dr.Dull, Dr. Powell, Dr. Gibbs, and Dr. Wiks). They are all fantastic and show they really care. Thanks Central Animal Hospital!
