Very professional. Saturday appointments very convenient. Our dog is always happy to visit his vet!

It’s really hard for me to leave such a low rating for a vet but I’m truly upset about what happened at this office today. My regular vets office wasn’t open but I had an urgent matter with my dog and wanted him looked at right away. Stonebridge vet was able to get me in right away and I was grateful for that. The staff and vet were all pleasant enough and it was a nice office. The problem started when the vet let me know my dog had a rectal cyst...which I suspected and told him so before I came. He told me he’d have to keep him all day, put him under sedation and operate on it in order to cut it open and clean it. The odd part is how he seemed to fish for the highest price he could charge. At first he said it would probably be around $600-$700 and asked what I would like to do. I was shocked but said something to the effect of “well, he’s in pain and I have to do what I have to do I guess. But $700?!”. Once he realized I was able to pay that much he said “well...plus tax. Maybe $800 even I don’t know”. So I left my dog thinking what else am I to do. I knew it wouldn’t kill him but the thought of seeing him in such pain for 3 days until I could get to see my usual vet was unbearable. I called my mother from the parking lot as I had agreed to help her with some work that day. I told her my situation and she said she’d call around because that sounded outrageous. I agreed but I’m much more emotionally reactive and she’s far more logical. I feel it makes me an easy target for money hungry vets but I can’t help but love my dog. Anyway, long story short, I ended up going back in and getting my dog (after paying the most expensive examination fee I’ve ever paid at any vet...$100 to look at his butt and confirm he had a cyst?!) and taking him elsewhere. The other vet had him an hour and DIDN’T have to sedate him at all. They just flushed it out and gave me some pain killers and antibiotics. Easy peasy. $215 and that’s including taxes, a mild soap to clean the wound AND a cone. We’re now at home and he’s doing much better. Before I took him back, the Stonebridge vet did state that “well...it could be less but it’s not like I have time to sit down and figure out costs! He’s small so it might not be as much”. Okay except...isn’t that sort of the whole point of the exam? Also, this is far from the first vet I’ve been to and all of the other ones have been able to give me at least a close estimate. Especially when we’re talking possibly $800 plus taxes. It was a full $600-$700 difference (from where I took him) with taxes! And it’s not even just the money...this man was willing to put my dog through the risk and stress of sedating him and cutting open a cyst (that had already ruptured on its own by the way) for absolutely no reason whatsoever?! I hate to accuse anyone in such an essential and valued industry of “only caring about the money” but that’s absolutely how it felt. You want to put my dog through all of that unnecessarily just so you can charge me the maximum price? Jeez, become a mechanic instead maybe. Absolutely deplorable. I don’t know the vets name nor would I state it if I did but he was a male vet at this office. One would have to assume that the moral code in the office wouldn’t differ substantially between vets. For this reason, I would OBVIOUSLY never recommend this veterinary clinic. I’m also going to say that, in reading prior reviews, many of the replies are quite rude. I get that it’s upsetting to get a 1 star review but I feel there’s still a way to remain professional about it. People love their pets. Maybe try to be understanding when patients are made to feel as though their beloved fur babies are put through unnecessary pain and discomfort at the hands of the people who we’re looking at to help them. I took all of this time just to write this as a warning to others. I’ll deal with the inevitable rude, accusatory reply. Please people, find a vet that loves your animal and stick with them. Thanks for reading.

I showed up to my appointment with my dog. Who I think has a few issues, possibly allergies, and they wouldn’t allow me in with him. They only speak with you on the phone. I’m not comfortable just sending my dog away with anyone. Almost is allowing owners in with their dogs. I feel like I should have been made aware of this by the staff, when I made the appointment. Super disappointed in this service.

Very good experience and they communicated everything and we're flexible with options. Will take my pet there again.

We took in our 8 month old kitty in as he was having problems breathing. Nurse was checking his temperature and he became very distraught. She then took him to the back so they could hold him down more forceful. We then get the Dr coming into the room to say "he is having problems breathing so we put him on oxygen". A few minutes later we have another nurse saying that "he still is not breathing so they are putting a tube down him". We then say "what do you mean he is not breathing we were just told he is having troubles breathing", she then said "he hasn't been breathing". Dr. came in and told us he was gone. So instead of letting us try to calm him down before going to the back to be more "forceful" they killed our boy! Then they charged us over a hundred dollars to check his heart rate and put his in such distraught that they killed him! I would never recommend this place. I would never go to this place ever again. From the other comments I guess they are good with dogs but anything else they will just kill them.

We've been going to Dr. Wole ever since he opened in Stonebridge. We couldn't be happier. He has a way with dogs that always makes our visits better than expected.

The service is okay, but the charge is high. Just the physical exam itself costs 90 bucks, which almost doubled the price I got from another vet hospital later. And I still don't know the exact cause of my cat's diarrhea. The doctor prescribed probiotic for my cat even though I told him I had one, and showed him a picture with the same product on it (found this out when I was ready to pay and of course it is more expensive), because his is "vet verified".

2 great experiences in less than 24 hours! My cat was booked in for a spay and the night before my dog ate a lot of garlic and I was really worried about her reacting to it! I had never been there before but had their number in my phone from booking the spay (moved over because we had a really bad experience with another vet in the city). I gave them a call and let them know what had happened and asked what I should do. They took me through what to do and I stopped by to grab what I needed and my dog was all good in the end. The next morning brought my cat in to be spayed and she is doing great as well! They didn't charge us for a bunch of extras or try and up-sell us on a bunch of things that aren't really needed (which is one of the bad experiences I was having at another vet in the city) and the staff were all really friendly! It was also a really laidback atmosphere. There was urgency the night when my dog ate the garlic but I didn't feel rushed when we were going through all the information after the spay of my cat. My boyfriend and I left feeling excited to have a vet that we like for a change!

The gentleman that runs this clinic is not half bad. Although we had a terrible experience with our cat, I would not be returning. We took him in 3 times in a rush, but the care seemed to be lacking. The only real compassion I felt was when they sent us a sympathy card for our cat that passed away.

Dr. Wole is an incredibly compassionate man and you can tell he cares about the animals very much. Highly recommend this clinic, very friendly staff and always a great experience!

Horrible service!! I took my dog here to get her shots and everything went well.. so when I had to put down my cat that was the first place I called to get a quote. I was in tears taking to the receptionist while asking a price to put down my cat. She said that they would get back to me with a price. Meanwhile I called around and got quotes from 6 different places. I never heard back from them... I decided to call them the next day to see if the forgot about me. Seems they did.. No quote was ever done up! And then after they gave me the price of $298!!!! They also said they had to do a full vet check up on my cat.. I explained my cat was 16 years old and maybe weighs 4 pounds and isn't eating. He is dying of old age. He does not need to be inspected. (I was never told I had to pay for this before putting down my cat) When everywhere else was a third of that price! I would never recommend this place to anyone. I found them very heartless and would never bring my animals there! Go elsewhere!!

Wonderful staff at this place! They were very thorough in explaining the procedure for my puppy, Theo. It put me at ease. They also called to check up on how he was doing after his surgery. Thanks for making this experience a great one.

This place is awesome. All vets tell you problems. But these guys gave me alot more cause/solution to the problem that other vets I've been to just didn't.

Wolle is awesome and the front staff are great. I brought in a stray dog close to closing time and they took their time and care to help me nurse her back to life. They sent me and my new friend home with a care package and some tips on how to get her healthy again. I will be bringing her and my other pets back here for their checkups! They worked to suit my budget for the night which was awesome!

Dr Adeniran saved my cats life. My cat developed a rare autoimmune disease and was in severe pain. Dr Adeniran did not give up on us. He did testing and made the appropriate referral to a dermatologist and they were able to diagnose pemphigus. He is now being treated here and I have been getting my medication from here ever since. I love my cat dearly and am happy to see him able to live pain free now.

Dr. Wally was so kind and accomodating with our boy. He stayed late just to get x-rays done to give us piece of mind for the night. We are so thankful for his compassion.

Dr Wole and his staff are great. They are all very caring and take great care of my cat whenever I take her in. I have been going here for years and even though I have moved out of Stonebridge - I still bring my cat here for all her care.

They only care about making money and not about animal welfare. I phoned about my fish who was suffering and needed to be euthanized. The vet assistant on the phone first laughed at me when I said it was a fish. Only when she realized I was serious did she ask the vet about the process. I've worked and volunteered with animals for over four years and it was very obvious that the fish was suffering and barely alive. When I brought him into the clinic they insisted on charging me for a checkup then said I would need to pay an "enormous cremation" fee. When I refused they then wanted to charge me a regular animal euthanasia fee. It is so terrible that a vets number one priority is money and not animal welfare. Disgusting. I would have been okay with paying some sort of fee but not to a company who clearly is prioritized by money and nothing else.

Took my cat here a few years ago because he was losing patches of his fur, after testing was told that he had Ringworm, and that he was also treating several other cats at the time for Ringworm. Began treatment, tried everything, bought extremely expensive medication from him- in particular a cream that he charged me $40 for, that I found for $9 literally next door at the pharmacy. Spent about $2,000 on treatment and my cat was FAR worse than when I brought him, he had lost all of his hair on either of his sides. Took him to a different vet and they stated that cats rarely have Ringworm, that the fact that this vet was treating multiple cats for Ringworm at the same time was almost impossible. They discovered immediately that he had an allergy, gave him a shot, I stopped feeding him food with chicken in it and he has been perfect ever since. Several years later, decided that it would be difficult for him to screw up a Rabies vaccine too badly so had my husband bring our dogs in for that. Most of the time places will make you pay an exam fee prior to the shot, which I understand, but I have NEVER not been told what this cost would be or that there would be one up front or prior to the appointment. For our two dogs to get a Rabies vaccine here was $230. ABSOLUTELY robbery. $85 exam fee each. When I called to complain I was told that I need to bring up financial concerns prior to the appointment. Horrible vet and service. Would never trust this person with my animals.

Very good dr took a cat to see him to have an infected tooth pulled we travelled 6 and a half hours to see him , his attitude towards the problem was beyond words worried as we were he was very calming and told us we had nothing to worry about and that they will make room to see shaemus the next morning when we got there and dropped our beloved Persian off we knew he was in the best hands possible , when we went to pick him up after his surgery he have us the front tooth to keep! So very cool of him I recommend this great veterinarian to all!
