I take my little dog Buddy here to have his nails cut. He is very upset by this and has to be given a shot to sleep before he has them cut and stays for a few hours after cor observation. Dr. Dave is extremely awesome and caring. He treats my little boy so good when I take him there and I dont feel upset or worry at all to have to leave him in their care. He is the only vet in all my years of vet visits who calls personally to check and see how everything is going after we have had this done. I highly recomend Furry Friends! ❤

Our fur baby 'Matsya' loves coming here since she was a two month old. When I give the nurse our little one I know she is going in good hands and I will get an honest feed back on her health. She is well treated and pampered, I know this because she gets exciting sitting in the car when she sees the nurses come out to get other pets. Dr. Christina is her doctor and she always been patient with her. On two instances that I needed to see the vet for semi-urgent needs, the staff was able to get in me in without issues. They also would not hesitate to help you out on the phone, if needed. Love bringing my baby here and she loves them too. Kudos to the doctors and staff !! A very well deserved appreciation.

They are so helpful and extremely nice. The vet on staff is also just the best! He cares so much for his patients and goes above and beyond. My dog kept getting ear infections, the same kind all the time and he had previously come up with something that you can put in their ear twice a week and it keeps the infection away! Fantastic! We first discovered this vet when we were looking around for other vets because our old one didn't have an opening when we told them our boy was peeing blood... Called the Furry Friends Animal Hospital and they got him in the day after! Got his first set of shots done since he was just a puppy and put him on antibiotics. He loved them so much when they came out to talk to us he crawled over our console to see the vet! 2nd visit was even better. He walked in no problem. it was a quick visit, they are so friendly and remembered him from before! Such amazing people and great with our puppy! I highly recommend coming here!

Loyal client for 4 years & unfortunately I will never recommend this clinic again. Unprofessional, petty, & overall very disrespectful & clearly have no problem milking people for all of their money. I have spent thousands of dollars here, to be treated like dirt because I was frustrated with a prescription for one of my dogs that wasn’t necessary to take & was never advised side effects (with a witness) so I felt ripped off considering I spent $170 for the appointment alone & had already spent $145 in the same week, when if advised side effects I could have made the choice to purchase. I can remember the entire conversation with both Dr. Nairn & the girl (Cori) who rang me through, neither said side effects which both claim they both did. If they truly remembered why are both claiming they told us? Pure negligence on their part, I had to look up the prescription to find out why my dog was having no control of her bladder (who has never had an accident in her life either). I was never rude, disrespectful or cursed anyone out, just wanted my concerns to be heard as they were valid. On top of it it took 4 phone calls within a 2 day span to even have anyone care to listen to my concerns, which you would think you’d be on top of following up with a side effect from a prescription? Instead of rectifying & trying to make the situation right they decide to terminate the relationship with me instead? This isn’t the first time “I am unhappy” - I don’t know anyone who wouldn’t be if they are continuously quoted something before an appointment & it ends up being more than double. Just 3 months ago I was quoted $180+tax & ended up paying $330 for my dogs routine vaccines. There was no transparency of what was being charged when, & if again advised prior to what was being done/costs were discussed with me I could have decided what I was doing with my dog. I said at the time “I don’t have money coming out of my butt” because this wasn’t the first time to have new charges that weren’t charged before, & during the times of Covid I don’t think anyone appreciates being quoted something & then you’re expected to pay with no prior discussion on additional costs. I still however always paid my full bill before leaving. Super unprofessional & petty given the fact they quoted me in my vet files saying this, with no context at hand. Vet bills are expensive & many people budget for their appointments, I have not been unreasonable. On top of it Fay got quite short with me on the phone when I was trying to explain why I was frustrated & twisted my words. No one is complaining to receive parts of their bill for free, people complain when that isn’t transparent. It is not hard to tell a customer so they are aware their bill may be higher at a later date, this has a charge, this isn’t included, etc. I have tried to contact Dr. Nairn directly to speak with him about this decision because I don’t find it fair that because I was frustrated about being a regular here & what happened, they didn’t handle the situation better. My animals know the staff so I wanted to continue to go here considering my one dog struggles with anxiety & they know that. I have not heard back a word to discuss the situation. This whole thing is super unprofessional & pathetic that instead of trying to make it right to a client who is 100% loyal (whereas many people shop around to different clinics) they treat me like this instead. Talking with others now too, this is not the first time they have handled a client questioning their charges, they have “fired” previous clients who have became frustrated with similar situations. I have my own business & this is not how you treat your regulars, especially when they are the ones keeping your business running & at the end of the day pay your bills. Super unfortunate this is how Dr. Nairn chooses to conduct his business. When any customer, a loyal one especially is not happy you try to make it right, you don’t push them & the situation aside because you know you’re in the wrong. Hopefully you all learn how to treat your customers better.

Dr Nairn and his team are seriously the best vet team I’ve had. Our dog Charlie was having gland issues so I called into the office but they were closed due to the current pandemic, so I emailed them a picture of her issue and asked for advice. The next day (Easter weekend Saturday) Dr Nairn called me and asked if I could stop by the clinic and pick up meds for her. We just knocked on the door and he had everything ready for us there and said we could just call in on Monday for payment. He obviously cares about us and Charlie, definitely a small town clinic feel! I’ve been recommending FFAH to everyone I know that has a pet and will continue to do so! Thank you so so much! Please do not waste your time visiting this place!!!! The price is super high compare with other vets. We come to this place to have a Ear cleaning and Nail Trim. One staff just took our kitten in without telling us the price for the service. The staff said she would check the price but when she returned, she brought our kitten and asked us to pay the fee. The ear cleaning cost 40$ and the nail trim cost 20$. On Peticoat Junction 5 meters away, the same service cost only 8$ for nail trim and 10$ for ear cleaning. Do not believe any staff in this place!!!! They will just smile and ask you to pay much higher price. Do not come to this place! Do not come to this place! Do not come to this place!

Dr. David Nairn removed 3 eyelid tumours from from my 6 year old Brittany Spaniel. He did a wonderful job and she looks beautiful. David called to check up on her the following day after her surgery and each visit he showed compassion and affection for my sweet girl. We will definitely be bringing both our Brittanies to him again! Also, his prices are far lower than any of the three other quotes we got for the lumpectomies.

Dr. Nairn saved my cat Shelby's life! She came into the clinic as a before hours emergency suffering from an insulin overdose (10 times the correct dose) due to a pharmacist error. @ 4am Shelby went into major seizures, & luckily I was close by, heard her, & reacted quickly bringing honey to put on her gums. We didn't know how serious it was until Dr. Abel Akon (City Mobile Vet) came over an hour later & realized the overdose. He gave her 4 vials of syrup & arranged for Dr. Nairn to meet us at his clinic. She registered at 1.4 blood sugar, we were told the next 24 hours were critical & it could go either way. Dr. Nairn contacted us throughout the day, evening & the next morning said Shelby was pissed right off! I finally knew she would be ok, I had my Shelby back! I can't thank Dr. Nairn & his staff enough for saving her life. The vet bill was more than fair & there was a surprising $90 good client discount! Shelby is still pissed at Dr. Nairn for all the needles & for shaving her beautiful fur, she is sharpening her claws for her 30 day follow up appointment.... Round 2 Dr. Nairn, & now Shelby's in good shape!

I have visited Furry Friends with my dog twice since the new vet Dr. Nairn took over in July 2014. Once for shots and again to have him neutered. The staff is very warm and welcoming. Dr. Nairn is very friendly and had a way of calming my dog who normally doesn't like to visit the vet. The day after each visit he called to see how my dog was doing. Then he called to check again later in the week after surgery. Recovery went very well! Best vet and best clinic I've ever been to! I'll definitely be back!!

Gave me completely inaccurate diagnosis for my cat. Apparently she's allergic to her collar? Gave me absolutely no other options, and said that if not an allergy to the collar it's an allergy to something else. WRONG. Switched her diet completely, took the collar off her for over a month, have recently put the collar back on and she's fine. Now from what I understand she has a skin fungus, or ringworm. So thank you vet for taking my money and giving me wrong info. We won't be back also no tests were taken, or even discussed. So it's nice to know you do whatever you can to help an animal. But thanks for the collar suggestion.

Dr Dave is hands down the best vet I have ever dealt with, and his support staff is phenomenal too! He is so knowledgeable, kind and patient. I never feel rushed or that my issue is not important, if it is a concern of yours it is a concern of his. He even does follow up calls to check in and see how your pet is doing after their visit to his clinic. His rates are more than reasonable, and he doesn't gouge or over charge for his services. Really can't say enough about how great this vet and the staff are. Always extremely accommodating, thorough, and kind. Pricing on everything is also very reasonable. Dr. Nairn always explains things both ahead of time and afterwards when it comes to treatments/procedures, then continues to follow up with a call to see how things are progressing. Staff also, as mentioned before, are superb. Best place in Saskatoon that we have found.

Dr Nairn & the staff at Furry Friends are incredibly pleasant to deal with. The nurse was great at distracting our kitty, with light blowing on her face, as she got her sutures (stitches) removed. We also forgot something at the vet's office, and when I said I would try to get it before they closed that day, the front desk lady assured me it would be there waiting. I have nothing but good things to say about this office! In the two times we have been there, they have made me feel comfortable and confident that they will treat our pet appropriately and make her feel as comfortable as possible as well.

Lucked into finding this clinic when the wait list for our usual vet was over 3 weeks. Brought our Pyreneese puppy in to get treated for an infection and were blown away by the service and staff.
