We moved to Sarnia in May 2016 and we have used this veterinary office for the following services, dental cleaning, regular physicals, immunizations, conductivities, and nail trimming. Every time we visit, the staff has been so kind and welcoming to our dog. Our dog is incredible shy and yet he actually takes treats from the staff (very unusual for him!!). I have complete confidence in their skill and compassion for our fur baby.

I can't believe there are negative reviews on the Rapids Veterinary.I have been to many vets with various animals over the years and Dr Iacobelli is by far the the best.I recently moved to Sarnia and have an aging dog.I am so lucky to have found Dr Iacobelli. He is very knowledgeable and has helped my dog through a few issues.He is very knowledgeable and he takes the time to explain. His staff is very caring, I would highly recommend them!

Place does not care about the well being of animals. Even though I am i client there they refuse to see a dog that I am looking after, for someone out of the province for several months, and does not have a regular vet in town. Their so called value of animals attitude is to let the dog die....pathetic. I strongly suggest going to another hospital that puts animal's lives a priority

A year ago we took our Sphynx cat, Kit to Dr. Jeff Iacobelli after she had a bad reaction from a vaccination from another local vet. Dr. Iacobelli examined her and suggested that due to her smaller size that she should receive vaccinations one at time rather than all at once. This strategy has worked well for her. Since last year we have adopted another Shynx, Missy, who came with some breathing problems. Dr. Iacobelli diagnosed Missy's problem as a secondary bacterial sinus infection which he believed was left over from a previously cured viral infection. He then went to the trouble of consulting with a veterinary internist before determining the best antibiotic to prescribe for her. She is about three quarters through her antibiotic treatment and breathing much better. We have no doubts she is well on her way to a complete recovery. We feel blessed to have found The Rapids Veterinary Hospital. Dr. Iacobelli always takes his time with each of his patients and takes great care to educate pet owners in layman's terms. We find that a better understanding of our pets has allowed us to better care for them. Dr. Iacobelli, Dr Knight and all the staff at The Rapids are wonderful, caring professionals who we highly recommend to any pet owner. Brenda and Brian

I am currently looking for a Vet for our newly adopted fur baby. We were considering this vet office but I have just heard some disheartening news about a liitle dog who's owner her brought to this this clinic in a real emergancy. And was turned away because it was CLOSING TIME....... Seriously why would you turn away an emergency where the ???? needed accute Medical attention... Bleeding from a dog attack.... If this is true i dont think i can trust your judgement..... This is truly distributing to me.... I'm not too sure if I could trust the newest member of our family to someone whom would not do the right thing!!! Regarless of CLOSING TIME!!! It would kinda be like trusting my children to Bluewater Health and that doesn't happen!!!!!!!!???? YOU SHOULD BE ASSAMED OF YOU'RE ACTIONS OR LACK OF THE RIGHT ACTIONS!!!! This has cost you're company a patient!!!! Congrates!!!! ! Such a shame!! How do you sleep at night????????

Terrible. They will not accept emergency patients. Told us to go to London with a dog with an injured hip, that is in obvious pain. The person that answered the phone was so clearly not interested in helping us... Just gross behaviour for a vet. Since they replied.... You are an emergency clinic but only for select people according to the person that answered the phone. They said that they would have to call the emergency vet and because they were close to closing we should go to London instead.

The vets and staff at Rapids are absolutely wonderful and have an obvious love and respect of animals! They go above and beyond for their clients! I drive from out of town to take my dog here and would not trust anyone else with her care. She is always excited to go to Rapids, even after her spay, that’s how much she loves the people that work there. I really like that they consistently provide a follow up call after visits and are always able to answer any follow up questions I might have. I have noticed a few negative reviews on this site from people who do not take their pets here which is absolutely rediculous! I think posting a review based on third hand information or hearsay is not appropriate and should be ignored.

The Rapids is our only go to vetranaians. Caring, extremely knowledgeable and clean, calm environment for our precious fur kids. The staff are always welcoming and personable to our fur kids and us. They are always going the extra mile to help with our care for our fur kids.

Refused to tend to a deeply sick animal only because I've not been a client in the past. What a disgusting practice. Refused to answer a call until 8: 42 despite opening at 8. This place deserves to be taken to court and bankrupted.

I can't say enough good things about this veterinary Hospital.The staff is very friendly and very helpful.My dog had pulled a tendon in her leg and it was a journey getting her back to where she is now but Dr.Knight was There with me every step of the way which was about a month and a half,she's great!!! I would definitely recommend.this facility.

My dog had a middle of the night emergency and Dr Geoff Iacobelli met me within 10 minutes of my call. He was very friendly and thorough - spending over 2 hours with my dog, doing an exam, blood work and xrays. I received a follow up call several hours later to check on my dog's condition.
