If I could give a -1 star I would Avoid south sarnia they are awful the made my cat scared of everything we can't even have people over cause he freaks and goes in to attack mode they kept him in a small travel crate the whole time there for his neutering when I seen him he was covered in fecies and shaking and that was 4-5 yrs ago and he still doesn't trust people he's afraid of the dark we have to leave lights and the radio on every night they are the worst

My cat somehow managed to cut his arm very badly, right down to the bone on Saturday July 10th, I brought him to this vet. The vet looked at my cat, told me they closed in 15mins, had the techs bandaged the cats arm and told me to come back Monday morning at 9:30. They charged me $209.02 to wrap his arm, to give him a pain killer and some antibiotics. Then told me that it would cost me another $600-$800 on top of the $200! Needless to say, I took my cat elsewhere for treatment! Had I waited, he could have lost his arm!!!! So disappointed. He should have been treated right away!

I went in for routine vaccinations, and the vet lied and told me my cat was too sick to receive them. He tried charging me $190 for extra testing, as well as over $50 for medications that my cat DID NOT NEED on top of that over $50 for the "exam" alone even though I walked out with nothing that I came in to receive! All they do is try to scam you for money. The vet did not tell me any of his clinical data for his exam; which turned out to be all normal. Not to mention the how unsanitary this clinic is. The vet took my cat's rectal temperature, wiped it with a paper towel; and set it down for the next use. He did not clean any of the equipment; nor did some of the staff wear masks. I will not be returning; this place is horrid.

The staff and services at South Sarnia Veterenary are Amazing. The office is clean and quite comfortable and Toby, my cat, was very well looked after when he was left in the care of the staff there... Personally could not ask for a better Veterenarian. Thank You for providing such a wonderful service to our Community.

Reasonable prices, Office and Vet Tech (assistants) were excellent. Vets who seen my animals were hard to communicate with and understand instructions, was made to feel very guilty when we asked to put our animal to sleep as if it wasn’t already a hard enough decision. Will not be back due to this- will gladly pay more elsewhere.

We picked up our dog from the Humane Society who covered the cost of spaying her at any local vet. Called South Sarnia Vets as it is close and was told $24 for pain meds, $25 for a cone (both mandatory fees), IV fluids $75 and bloodwork (which the humane society did less than a week ago) was $90, both strongly recommended. Total $214. Sarnia Animal Hospital said make sure she was used to us before bringing her in as it was less stressful for her and when we asked about additional costs said 'no of course not, that's all covered". If I could give them no stars I would. Dave Kember.

My pets having been going to South Sarnia for a few years now. I've been through 4 vets with all my moving around. The service here has always been top notch! Today I had to bring my cat Zira in because she wasn't eating anything yesterday or today. The office was so busy! They were double booking appointments, the phone didn't stop, they all work so hard to give quality vet service. The office staff were all bustling about sanitizing and attending to each task. The teamwork was phenomenal! The vet that seen Zira gave us his full attention, he was very caring and wanted to ensure she didn't feel threatened, he took care of everything she needed. She had to have a few teeth removed and he was very thorough and tender with her. He didn't make me feel vulnerable or like I had to do anything outside of my comfort zone. He communicated every detail with me for my knowledge. I was able to discuss costs before getting the work done. I've never felt more valued, relieved, and comfortable in a vet office. I couldn't speak highly enough. They are life savers. They are all loving spirits who would go to any length to see an animal, and their owner, feel respected and well. And in a single income home I can still afford the vet bill in a few easily arranged payments.

Dr. Khanna has been very nice and helpful. He fixed my cat's sore ear within a week after another clinic just kept selling me expensive antibiotics for 5 visits. I would highly recommend this Vet to everyone.

We have taken all of our cats and kittens to this clinic for years. They have a wonderful team that are super friendly and very passionate. When one of our cats became seriously ill their dedicated staff did everthing they could to ensure that she made a full recovery. Without them I am not sure what we would have done. Their staff are aways smiling and are eager to help in anyway they can. Very reasonably priced... I recommend them to everyone.

He was well taken care of during his Neutering surgery We have been bringing our Baby Bear here for 3 yrs and also the care given during a time of 9 yrs with our Departed Papa Bear. We just had our new pup Coco here for his first exam and vaccines and the reviews are true ! This is a great place to take your pet ! The receptionist was very friendly and informative ! Dr Patel was very professional and friendly and Coco seemed to like him too ! The vet tech that trimmed his nails was also very friendly and informative ! Lastly.... the price was very reasonable, unlike the last vet we used for our dear departed BooBoo ! We have definately found our new vet here in Sarnia !

What an amazing place to take our animals, where do I begin? We have been clients now for over 5 years. First 4 years it was our dog "Bella" may she rest in peace. The last 1.5 years it's been with "Cameron". We are always welcomed with a warm smile and a cheerful "hello". Tara and Sarah are most amazing, always lending an ear about any concerns that I may have or simply for support. All the doctors are kind, patient, and gentle. This clinic is amazing! Neutering is cheap, vaccinations are cheap and they genuinely care about your animal! They followed up and didnt charge us for extra care because my pup got really sick after his neuter (reaction to the medications post op) and they covered all costs and even called me every few hours to check in on him!

After our dogs struggled for some time in their later years we resigned to the fact that we needed to end their pain. Dr. Patel did a quick exam and refused to end their suffering. Tonight they can barely move at all after getting in and out of the car twice as well as having their legs manipulated in an effort to prove us wrong. Then when I was waiting to pay, he offered metacam. Why would perfectly fine dogs need pain meds?? I feel sick because they went through that and now suffer more.

The best experience with this vet! I brought my dog for teeth extraction and went to a vet in chatham and a vet in London and heard about this vet. He really cared and you can tell he doesn't do this for the money. He charged me half of what the other 2 quotes were and he didn't try to price gouge or trick you into anything. Totally worth the drive.

We were referred by family friends who have taken their cats to the Watford location for years. We first had our dog spayed here as a puppy, and 8 years later we found out she had a mast cell tumour. Dr. Pitel did a fabulous job at presenting both the pros and cons to having it removed and all the complications that may occur. We never felt pressured or influenced in making our choice, he just simply gave us the facts. We decided to go ahead with the fairly major surgery, and not only was the price more than reasonable, they provided over the top care. You can really tell they care for the animals they treat. After the surgery, they did a great job at communicating all the steps to her healing process, and we couldn’t be happier with our outcome! (I would post photos of her progress if possible) I would highly recommend seeing this vet (particularly Dr. Pitel).
