I don't like how they always try and gouge you for products that you don't need. They are hard to get an appointment if your animal is sick.

I posted this on New Years Eve on facebook...I unfortunately hit a dog (which he is fine)...this clinic is very caring...I have no idea why the other reviewer did not think so..they went WAY above and beyond. PLEASE READ!!! I want to thank every single person who liked, commented, and shared this post! GOD LOVE EVERYONE OF YOU! The vet clinic that was named on the rabies tag, was facebooking me and took the time on New Years to go in and look up the owner....Marysville Veterinary Clinic has an amazing woman by the name of Colleen, who did this and brought the owner and the baby back together...it could not have happened without everyones help. Thank you and what a great way to start 2016 off! To the vet tech that helped me on Lapeer Road...you are an angel ( she happened to work at the same clinic so there is an angel looking after this pup!) Happy New Year to Everyone!

I looked for help for my cat. Nobody was open or taking appointments but the Marysville Vetinary office. A client had canceled, so I got that slot. Now all 4 of my cats go there as well as a friend's cat. My cats are well cared for, nothing is pushed at me to purchase. The facility is clean, the staff provides loving care for my cats. I have had surgical procedures on two pets, with success. Very gentle, professional place.

Extremely personable staff, always friendly, and our dog LOVES going there. I have never in my life had a dog who got excited to go to the vet, he cannot wait to get inside when we pull up and is always thoroughly disappointed when we're just picking up his monthly flea&heartworm and he can't go in????. I have no problem handing him over for curbside service bc I know without a doubt he is getting the best care and tons of love.

I've recently had the worst experience with Marysville Veterinary Clinic. My kitty homer who was 4 years old had an inner ear infection that went to his brain. I took him in last week and the vet gave me medicine to give him and sent me home. He got worst as the day progressed and ended up not breathing and having a seizure. I took him back and they had to put him on a breathing machine. I was told to go home and they would call in a few hours to give me an update. At 4pm that day they called and said he was doing much better and I should come right at 5 pm to pick him up and take him to the hospital for over night observation and I was to pick him up in the morning and bring him back to the vet. When I got there and they brought him out he was worst looking than when I got him there not breathing. The vet tech told me he took a turn for the worst 30 min prior to me getting there. I asked numerous times to her and the vet what should I do. I was told I either needed to euthanize him or take him to the hospital. There was no way Homer was going to make it a 40 min car ride to the hospital they reccomend. The vet was in a huge hurry to leave as they close at 5pm. At this point, she became very irritated with me for holding her up and basically told me she needed to leave and wasn't going to stand around while I made my decision. She left....and the vet tech and receptionist took care of me from there. They finally suggested putting him down as he was suffering and wouldn't make the car ride. The day was horrible as I lost my kitty but this vet made the experience so much worst for me. Im sorry for keeping you over but as a DR that is part of your job. Ive stayed ten minutes over many times for my customers. Then today I get a letter saying you owe us money for bringing him back the second time that day....There was no im sorry about your loss, please contact us. Just pay your bill now. I had already paid them $210 the first time that day for the original visit when they said he was fine and gave him medicine. I guess my point is, a little compassion and caring goes a long way ecspecially when it comes to the illness/death of someone a person loves. It's your job and part of why we pay you. Get out of this line of business if you need a 9-5 job and don't care about your customers. I'm sorry to say this as I have went to this vet for over 6 years but I will be switching and suggested other customers to take a long hard look at this facility. Thank you!!!

I would not recommend you working for this place. The receptionist is rude and not professional. My wife worked their for 3 weeks and then on her week 3 they used My wife for a for a couple of hours and sitting in a 2hr meeting before they left her go due to having to get our children from school due to being new to living in this state and not know anyone for help yet. The dr and receptionist is not considerate or understanding if you have children. The pay isn't good. They also made her feel unwelcome and not apart of the team. I would not recommend anyone working there.

My Aunt's kidney doctor told her she had to get her dog put down last minute after a recent transplant. We called and explained our situation to them, then they went around and told us they weren't accepting patients and refused our service. Wouldn't advise going here if you have to get an animal put down. You're better off looking elsewhere.

I called in about my pet bunny to inquire about neutering. I explained my concerns and all my questions were answered. I did schedule an appointment but asked if there was a cancelation if they could call me ... and they did! I was able to bring Buzz in within a week! Everyone was professional, considerate, polite, welcoming and friendly. It was very clean and efficient! They were so personable and so sweet with Buzz!!! I would not go anywhere else!!!

Friendly, professional staff, and my dog was seen within a few minutes of his appointment time. Dr. Cassandra did a very thorough exam, and never made me feel as though she was in a rush. She spent time with my dog, and it’s clear she really cares. Reasonable costs as well.

Awesome vet! I called around all morning trying to find a vet in the Saint Clair area who would see my pet rat Ralphie. The two places I found wouldnt see him until Friday. When I called MVC they got me in within a few hours! Long story short, I also happened to find a dog who got loose on my way to the vet, and the employees all worked hard to scan his micro chip and find the number to the owner for me. They went above and beyond for me today. What a great vet and staff. -P.s there is also an extremely friendly office cat (Glover) who came and climbed on my lap, so if you like cats like I do, thats always a plus . -Thank you all

Super disappointed, this has been our vet for two years had an appointment missed work to go, i was told they needed stool sample after walking my dog around an hour and 45 min. I called to let them know i would be a few minutes late. Nope have to pay 45 dollars and reschedule so 45 dollars plus money missed from work plus everything yea not going there anymore but hey the receptionist rude attitude was free

Solid, competent care provided for our cat. Good follow-up and direct contact via telephone was provided by the staff and the house Veterinarian in order to answer questions and offer suggestions for follow-up care. Recommended.

Tried making an appointment to have my boyfriend's cat checked out because he has an eye infection starting. The receptionist was rude, apparently had no recommendations where else to go because we weren't patients, and showed no compassion whatsoever. "Best of luck" was all she said before she suddenly hung up on me. Didn't tell me to "have a nice day", absolutely nothing. Just an unsympathetic "best of luck". If you're working at a veterinarians office you're supposed to show compassion to those that are trying to make their fur babies better!!!! DO NOT recommend because of this experience. Call around the area, you'll have a better outcome that way.

Horrible veterinarian service after being a regular client for several years we called because our dog was experiencing what we thought was a UTI. Arrogant receptionist advised the Dr was leaving at noon today and was booked. So much for caring compassionate veterinarian. We won’t be back!

We have been taking our dogs and cats to the Marysville Veterinary Clinic since 1992, as well as recommending them to my daughter and mother, and others, for their pets. We have always found the doctors and their staff to be knowledgeable, competent and compassionate in their care. We wouldn't take our pets anywhere else.

Just tried to make an appointment for a puppy with kennel cough after picking up my foster puppy that just spent 2 days in the hospital from this extremely contagious disease. We live less than a mile from them and over 30 miles from the hospital. I was told that because we were new patients that we would have to wait 2 weeks for an appointment. I said never mind, he will be dead by then. She said sorry. Good luck and hung up. No compassion. I will never take any of my pets there.
