The first girl was super friendly gave me prices and availability and even an estimated total then I came back the next day to get the appointment and got double the price and the girl that day was kind of snotty also a friend just got her dog fixed and it came back with some sort of burn the failed to mention to her until she came back because it wasn't healing.

The vet there tried to prescribe BRAVECTO to my mother's dog which is highly toxic and proven to kill dogs and could not even help her treat her dog's yeast infection properly and instead advised her to euthanize her 18 month old pup -- UNBELIEVABLE! I would never take my dog to this facility.

The two male vets that have looked at my dog are not good with reactive animals. They seem easily intimidated by large dogs, and they make no attempt to establish trust with the animal; it felt like they just wanted to get my dog in and out as fast as possible. They have also made me muzzle my dog before and wouldn't do it themselves, which stressed out my dog a ton because it took me a few tries to get it. Took him to the vet in Petrolia and we got a drastically different experience. He was so much more compassionate with my dog, and when he needed the muzzle, Dr Johnson did it with ease. I think college park is good if you have a calm animal, but for larger intimidating dogs you will need to take them elsewhere to get them properly cared for.

I can not thank the staff of College Park Vet enough, they saved one of my fur babies. She had complications during labor, I was worried she had a stillborn still inside her. They were able to give me an appointment that day. We could not afford the c-section she was going to need I was heartbroken thinking that we were going to have to put her down. The staff had put their heads together and tried a couple organizations to see if they could help cover the costs, but they were not able to helpus. They ended up being ableg to spay her as this was not the first litter she had problems with. Turns out she had a kitten stuck in her birth canal, they were not able to save the little one but I hadn't expected it to be alive anyway. They were her gaurdian angles that day. My fur baby made it and is full of love and headbuts for everyone. Thank you for saving my baby girl, I dont know what I would have done if I would have lost her.

The staff are very accommodating and have been extremely understanding of our circumstances this summer. They always make time to see us with short notice, to help our fur-babies. We recently had to go to College Park to have our elderly kitty put to sleep, a week later I checked the mailbox and found a wonderful sympathy card from the staff. Thank you for everything. ????

Did my co-op in high school here they've only gotten better. They helped us through every step of cancer and the eventual euthanasia of my childhood dog. With my current dog we came here for his vaccines. Then just last week my dog was having terrible diarrhea. They got me in for an appointment the same day I called. They gave me 2 options for treatment. We chose to do antibiotics and they called me the next day with test results and a diagnosis. Within 3 days he was doing better and a week and after a week and a half now is totally back to normal. Thank you so much for your help.

Took my 10 week old kitten for a check up as she had been experiencing some concerning symptoms. Upon visual examination of the kitten the veterinarian on staff concluded she was fine and prescribed some medications with less than clear instructions on what symptoms exactly these prescriptions would address. Came home to my kitten dead on the floor three days later which was a very traumatizing experience. In an apparent shock I contacted the vet and was told to come to the clinic. Here, a receptionist pronounced the kitten dead while the veterinarian hid in the back out of sight. They then proceeded to charge a substantial fee to deal with the kitten's remains with out a single apology from anyone. If you care about your pet I would absolutely recommend staying away from this clinic. Don't be fooled by the comparatively low prices - you get what you pay for.

When my regular vet closed down I found college park. I found the cost was wonderful, the vet was so incredible. I have a dog and three cats. My dog gets shots tags every year and the cost was half as much as my other vet. I had three senior cats youngest 17 oldest 19. I actually took the cats in because of different reasons but don't regret it. I had to put one of my furry friends down beginning of August now the youngest is not feeling well and I will probably bring him in soon. The oldest is still doing just fine. It is heart breaking but the vet is a wonderful and compassionate person. I am very glad i found College park.

Let me come in last min on a Saturday bc the dog snagged her dew claw and twisted it backwards and sideways ... messy business. they helped me patch her up and gave her some pain meds to get thru the day... stayed after close for all this too... Great vet and great vet techs. Little to no waiting time. They are organized and punctual and most importantly they genuinely love the animals that come through. If you use them make sure you keep the emergency after hours number in yor phone as it is difficult to find online.

Nice vet, friendly staff, however he seemed to have trouble putting my pup down properly, it took over ten minutes to euthanize a 25lb dog. A needle to the heart finally did the trick, as mentioned below, euthanasia gone wrong :(

Will NOT be returning! after taking our 3 animals there from day one, we were refused to be seen in an emergency situation after my my 13 year old dog took violently ill. We were told they could possibly see him in a week! I explained once again that it was an emergency and he was clearly suffering and was refused care once again. We lost our poor dog that same day. No effort was even made to try and see him and we were simply told “bring him in next week.” This all happened during business hours. Their prices may be lower but have also been increasing. We would rather have our fur babes be shown compassion when needed rather than pay the lowest price!
