I don't think that there is a kinder, more generous and intelligent vet out there. He fixed my cats broken paw, and both him and his staff were compassionate and followed up a lot in both this instanced and when my dog had lymphoma.. The office is always very busy but they are worth the wait.

My cat almost just died on the way to the vet in downtown port huron because this vet turned us away. My cat has a mouth injury and had blood pouring from his mouth and a swollen tongue. By the time i got to the other vet they said his throat was closing and he was given steroid shots and emergency fluids, and they are keeping him a few hours to make sure he is stable. i will never go back to this place even though its closest to my house, because they saw my cat bleeding in the waiting room in critical condition and said they were too busy today. My cat almost died today because of them. Thank god i made it to port huron before my cat stopped breathing.

I was taking him to North River animal hospital and because I couldn't afford a yearly exam they weren't going to give me his medication ????????...I called Doc. Meadows and told his girls and they took me and bothy boys in..I'm so grateful for them all.

Our daughters kitten unfortunately needed to get 3 pins in his leg. These individuals acted swiftly and decisively and were able to get him into surgery within minutes of us contacting them. Being a rambunctious Kitten he wasted no time in moving one of the pins, which of course AHL was more than accomodating fixing the issue as soon as it had been noticed. They are also very good at making contact to ensure that the after surgery care is maintained properly. He is currently at AHL for an examination which prompted me to come on here and let you know that if your pet needs to be treated by absolute professionals, this place is undoubtedly where he or she should be taken. Thank you for treating a pet that means a lot to our family with such care and compassion. You guys/girls are great heroes without much praise.

Our dog today got stung by a bunch of flies and what the vet believes to be a bee out in port sanillac. He swelled up so bad we thought he was going to stop breathing! We were referred to this animal hospital by a woman in a grocery store in Lexington. The emergency line helped us through the crisis. The man was so calm and helpful. We are so thankful for all of his help! 3 hours later and our dog is doing so much better!!! Thank you again!!!

Dr Medows is by far the best vet in the area. Took the amazing care of my beagle, who recently passed away from cancer at 13.5. The office even sent us flowers after he passed. I will be bringing all future pets here.

We were referred to Dr. Meadows from Dr. Reynolds in Port Huron township. The x-rays were sent and we've waited three days for a response. My dog has four broken bones across her little paw. I've left several messages with Doctor Meadows office and have not even received a response at all. We're going to call an animal hospital in Romeo and see if we can get our puppy fixed, but shame on Dr. Meadows for not even giving us the courtesy of responding.

Vet Meadows is amazing. Caring staff as well. I was referred by my initial cat's vet because stray I took in needed surgery for a severe fracture. It was known I didn't want amputation.He said he could try a plate in leg to attempt healing with infection a constant issue. By the time I had brought her in after the last snowstorm she had had a litter which I never found. Vet said she probably had nest attacked and she barely made it herself. Today, she's doing fine and walking normally! Very happy with services.

We had a bill for 860 some dollars they told us our test would be back in a couple weeks they would get a hold of us the test came back within 3 to 5 days was never contacted my son went to pay the bill he was told then so the dog was without medication for about a week and if they would have notified us he could have still Ben On the meds . instead of having to start it all over again communication seems to be pretty bad.

I would never take my animals anywhere else but here especially for emergencies. My cat was very sick and they got me in no questions asked kept my cat for almost a week and were very reasonable with there price and also were able to make payment arrangements with me as they did before. My family and I have been seeing Dr. Meadows since he opened his practice. He is a superior vet and is a brilliant diagnostician. I think he is the" House " of Veterinary Medicine. He is extremely knowledgeable and will do what is in the best interest of your animal. He is kind, sensitive and has integrity. I live 65 miles away from him and I have been travelling for over 12 years to bring my 3 dogs to him. I wouldn't have nearly as much faith in anyone else. He is the best! His office staff are wonderful and always do whatever they can to assist you!

We were very impressed with his orthopedic expertise and would recommend him for any of your veterinary needs. Very reasonably priced for expert care! He even took the time to personally review her X-rays and best options during the Covid shutdown. I'd give them 6 stars if I could! Thank you for everything -- she's back to her normal puppiness and doing great! Update: this puppy has gone on to a 4th at the Belgian Sheepdog Nationals . I would like to start off by saying that this review will contain experiences that my entire family has had with this establishment, all bad, and that I dont know the full details of both sides I do know that level of care that was given was absolutely abysmal. To start off this is the only vet that I have ever had to wait over 3 hours to see. I am a patient person, however when I have an appointment I really don't expect it to take the entire length of Titanic to be seen. Secondly, we unfortunately had a pet pass away and made sure to notify them so that it could be marked down that this animal wouldn't need to seen anymore. They called us off and on for months, and everytime my wife would break into tears letting them know what happened and begging for them to mark in their system. They would always tell us they did, until 2 weeks later when they would call again. It took us screaming at them over the phone to finally end the calls. Lastly, a family member years ago took an animal that they had that was having issues to be seen. The doctor came out and said that he knew exactly what was wrong with the animal and what could be done to help it, but that he no longer worked with that kind of animal so he refused to see it. Do you know how heartbreaking it is to have an animal that you love become sick, and then when you try to give it the help it needs you are turned away by someone with the knowledge to help? I mean this as someone who deeply deeply cares about animals, stay away from this vet! They do not care about the well being of animals because they are more focused on keeping you as a paying customer.
