Several years ago I stopped going to this vet clinic with my dog because they wanted to scare me with a potential cancer of my dog and demanded to to do a biopsy if not they refused to commit to an answer to my question (size having appeared), the total would be about 1800 $. I then said that I found it quite disturbing that they were imposing this process when they refused to answer me about what else it might be. I left to take a 2nd opinion, so I went to the veterinary clinic lachute, where the vet explained to me that at the age of my dog and since it was located behind the ear it will surely be a mass of fat produced by the glands, they asked me to measure every week and come back in a month and that if it did not increase the surgery will be more risky than the size itself because it would not be cancerous. In short, my dog had no cancer .... which brings us to tonight, my dog is now 14 years old, she is followed for 4 years in Lachute and she has been diagnosed with chronic asthma for 4 years. Tonight she had a terrible fit and I had to make her mouth to muzzle to make her come back. Seeing that this crisis was intense I headed to the nearest veterinary hospital ... unfortunately this one. A chance on the way she caught her breath and seemed stable when I arrived in an emergency. Once again this hospital thinks only of money and requires radios, blood tests and more ... to give me medicine in case of a severe crisis like this, the vet tells me again about cancer and the obligation to make 3 views in the radio (strange when we know that in Lachute I saw 1 at a time and after 2 views the vet told me that it seemed clear to him and that a 3rd saw was not necessary in order to diagnose asthma and test a drug) ... I propose tonight then to do a sight to see the asthma and give the drug but the vet of Blainville hospital refuses all simply and told me to go elsewhere and that they had many appointments tonight ...... I left with a bill of $ 77 and nothing was done to help my dog, they refused even to do the radio that I asked ... this hospital is to flee, they do not care about our animals but only our money ... e not the worst. they use fear and rejection when we explain the history of our animal. Il y a plusieurs années, j'ai arrêté d'aller à cette clinique vétérinaire avec mon chien car ils ont voulu me faire peur avec un potentiel cancer de mon chien et exigé de faire une biopsie si non ils refusaient de s'engager vers une réponse à ma question (grosseur ayant apparu), le total allait s'élever à 1800$ environ. J'ai alors spécifié que je trouvais cela pas mal dérangeant qu'ils imposent ce processus alors qu'ils refusaient de me répondre sur se que cela pourrait être d'autre. Je suis partis prendre un 2éme avis, je suis donc allé à la clinique vétérinaire lachute, ou la vétérinaire m'a alors expliqué qu'à l'age de mon chien et vu que cela été situé derrière l'oreille ça serai surement une masse de graisse produite par les glandes, ils m'ont demandés de mesurer à toutes les semaines et revenir dans un mois et que si elle ne grossissait pas l'intervention chirurgicale serai plus risqué que la grosseur elle même car elle ne serait pas cancereuse. Bref, mon chien n'avait pas de cancer.... se qui nous amène à ce soir, mon chien a maintenant 14 ans, elle est suivi depuis 4 ans à Lachute et elle fait de l'asthme chronique depuis 4 ans. Ce soir elle a fait une terrible crise et j'ai du lui faire du bouche à museau pour la faire revenir. Voyant que cette crise était intense je me suis dirigé vers l'hopital vétérinaire le plus proche... malheureusement celui là. Une chance en chemin elle a reprit sa respiration et semblait stable lors de mon arrivée en urgence. Une fois de plus cet hôpital ne pense qu'a l'argent et exige des radios, prises de sangs et plus encore... afin de me donner une médicamentation en cas de crise sévère comme cela, la vétérinaire me parle de nouveau de cancer et de l'obligation de faire 3 vues dans la radio (étrange quand on sait qu'à Lachute j'ai fait 1 vue à la fois et après 2 vues la véto m'a dit que ça lui semblait claire et qu'une 3éme vu n'était pas nécessaire afin de diagnostiquer l'asthme et tester un médicament)... je propose ce soir alors de faire une vu afin de constater l'asthme et donner le médicament mais la vétérinaire de l’hôpital de Blainville refuse tout simplement et me dit d'aller ailleurs et qu'ils avaient bien des rendez vous ce soir...... Je suis repartis avec une facture de 77$ et rien n'a été fait pour aider mon chien, ils ont refusés même de faire la radio que je demandais... cet hopital est à fuire, ils n'ont pas à cœur nos animaux mais uniquement notre argent... et le pire. ils utilisent la peur et le refus quand on leur explique l'historique de notre animal..

(Translated) We show up on Monday morning since my dog (5 month old puppy) was urinating blood every 2 minutes (probably a urinary tract infection). On urinalysis, he found no trace of a urinary tract infection. We are told to take an x-ray of the bladder. We therefore proceed as recommended on the x-ray which shows that there are several crystals in the bladder (which is almost impossible for a dog of this age). We are therefore given special food for 2 weeks. Invoice of $ 400. After a few days, no improvement. The situation is deteriorating. We therefore decided to go see another veterinarian to get a second opinion. Result: Severe urinary tract infection with the presence of white and red blood cells as well as bacteria. Ironically, no presence of crystals in the bladder ... Finally, we leave the 2nd veterinarian with 3 weeks of antibiotic and close monitoring every 5 days. We notified the Blainville veterinary hospital which still denies having made a misdiagnosis. I do not recommend this vet since we cannot get a clear diagnosis and there has obviously been professional misconduct. (Original) On se présente le lundi matin puisque mon chien (chiot de 5 mois) urinait du sang aux 2 minutes (probablement une infection urinaire). À l'analyse d'urine, il ne décèle aucune trace d'infection urinaire. On nous dit qu'il faut alors faire une radiographie de la vessie. On procède donc tel que recommandé à la radiographie qui montre qu'il y a plusieurs cristaux à la vessie (ce qui est quasiment impossible pour un chien de cet âge). On nous donne donc une nourriture spéciale pour 2 semaines. Facture de 400$. Après quelques jours, aucune amélioration. La situation se dégrade. On décide donc d'aller consulter un autre vétérinaire afin d'obtenir un 2ème avis. Résultat: Infection urinaire sévère avec présence de globules blancs, rouges ainsi que d'une bactérie. Fait ironique, aucune présence de cristaux dans la vessie... Finalement, on quitte le 2ème vétérinaire avec 3 semaines d'antibiotique et un suivi serré aux 5 jours. Nous avons avisé l'hôpital vétérinaire de Blainville qui nie toujours avoir commis une erreur de diagnostic. Je ne recommande pas ce vétérinaire puisqu'on ne peut obtenir un diagnostic clair et qu'il y a visiblement eu une faute professionnelle.
