We have brought our dog to this clinic for 8 years. They are very compassionate and through , kind. Some say their expensive, but what figure can you put on GOOD care. We haven't found any vet that is not expensive. It's a Specialty they have studied and put much effort into treatment of your pet.

If you bring your pet here, they will treat them as there own. This is a great place to bring them to. The employees have that hospitality living environment. Their also down to earth people who loves each and every animal with that special care. I've jumped around and ended right back there. Should have never left because this place treated my dog like one of the family. I couldn't have asked for a better veterinarian around Minnesota ever then this place. I think this place is the number one. Hooah!!!

It's great to have a vet that genuinely cares about their patients. I took my dog in for a check up because something didn't seem quite right, they checked him out and didn't seem to find an issue. I was surprised though, to receive a phone call the next day asking how he was. It's nice that their care doesn't just stop when the visit is over, they really go above and beyond.

We brought our puppy home at the end of February 2017, and after a bit of research settled on St. Michael Vet Clinic. They have been so great to her since the day we brought her in for her first vet check. She is now 6 months old, and is recovering from her spay surgery. Day 2 post-op, and she is doing great and recovering nicely. They have taken great care of her every time, whether it be for vaccines or her surgery. The team is very gentle, patient and knowledgeable. We don't typically see the same doctor every time, which I would prefer so they get to know her and her history going forward; but the clinic keeps great notes on her file and all of the doctors are friendly and helpful. One of the vet techs can be condescending when answering questions, but aside from that a great team! Our puppy loves them, and is happy to see them every time we go in.

Love the techs & Drs. I'm not that fussy, I just need annual vaccinations. Since I am fortunate that my animals don't have any chronic conditions....but each time I go it seems I see a different Dr. It's confusing. Check in; check out could use improvement. Seems it is always a delay for one reason or another.....

We stopped by there several years ago for their grooming services, and since then I've taken my dog to see the vets there. The doctors are great and you can trust them with your dog's health and safety. The staff is professional too.

My dog that was very special to me was diagnosed with congestive heart failure at the same time I was facing other life changing events. I cannot stress enough how well I was treated by the entire staff. Everyone was professional, kind and compassionate. When it came time for my sweet dog to cross the rainbow bridge she did so with her family surrounding her and a veterinarian who really cared about her. I couldn't have asked for more.

I have two cats, a couple years ago one needed surgery on his ear, and just yesterday St Michael Vet Clinic did a dental surgery on my other cat who had dental disease. There are many vets that are closer to my home than these guys but for me it is totally worth the extra drive. They are excellent! They have reasonable pricing and understand that price is a big deal to pet owners, and they were awesome at helping me make the best choice for my cats. I saved money, and they took such great care of my cats through both of those tough situations. They have a wonderful staff, and they do a professional job. Super glad I took my cats here.

Dr Sanderson and Vet Tech John are top notch! Both took the time to listen to my concerns and gave recommendations on treatment based on what is best for my dog. They didn't push extras and gave a full estimate as well as what was a priority vs things that were optional. I even got a follow up email from the Dr and phone call from John after 5pm on a Friday!

I've been going to St. Michael Vet Clinic for over 15 years. While there's been a few hiccups over the years, overall my experience has been good. The receptionists are fantastic even though there are sometimes long hold times. Most of the vets are great with a few exceptional ones. It was recently remodeled and the patient rooms now feel a little stale and small and (as minor of a complaint as it sounds) have bad acoustics so every noise is very loud and unpleasant. Overall, my family and I will continue to use St. Michael due to their compassionate and helpful staff.

They expect you to abide by policies that they never made you aware of. I was going to be a first-time client and I ended up needing to cancel our first appointment on the same day and they would not reschedule my appointment unless I pre-paid for that appointment because apparently the policy is that you need to cancel within 24 hours in order to not have to prepare for the next appointment. However, they never made me aware of that policy so therefore I did not know that I needed to call 24 hours in advance to not have to pre-pay. I simply told the receptionist I would have been fine to pre-pay if I was made aware of that policy but I was never made aware of it and instead of saying that it was their mistake they would rather not take me as a client. Appalling. So I guess I’ll be looking for a new vet clinic in the area! We have two cats and plan to live in St. Michael for at least the next 25 years and will continue to have animals throughout. That’s a lot of money to miss out on for not being able to humble themselves. Simply shows the true culture of the clinic.

I've been here twice now with my animals, and they've always been amazing with me and my pets. Dr. Sanderson is very patient, and explained to us the whole process, and what was going to happen when I made the decision to put my cat to sleep. However, I'm giving 3 stars due to the fact that yesterday the lady at the desk kept coming in our room asking for payment. I told her over and over that i was not ready to pay yet and just wanted some time with my cat before he goes to sleep. Obviously this was not a decision I was ready, or even expected to make. I felt very disrespected by the receptionist, and felt rushed to fill out the paperwork and make payment. Very rude and unprofessional on her part.

Went in for a spay & booster shots, charged for exam....ok. However; I told them that she'd been itching a lot & asked them to check her shoulders while there, under anesthesia (and me being charged for an exam). They called regarding the itching & wanted to swab & charge to re-check her ears! Since she had recently started taking ear drops, I said no. Litterally, just a couple of days later, I took hear in because there were patches of fur missing where she'd been scratching. BOOM! ANOTHER EXAM CHARGE!!!!!!!

Highly recommend! Our family has been bringing our dogs here for the last 10 years and the staff is always wonderful. I brought my own lab in at just 7 weeks old when she had an allergic reaction and was so worried about her - they not only took care of my dog but made sure I was at ease and kept me updated through out everything. They are always friendly and there to answer any questions.

We had 2 yellow labs that have been to the St. Michael vet clinic for their whole lives. Our first lab was having troubles in early '18 and we brought him in early one week last January. He was getting worse during the week and on Friday after work my wife called only to be told that because they were closing in 30 minutes they wouldn't be able to see him and to goto an emergency vet. Long story short we ended up putting him down on Sunday AM. He was 11 and just 3 short months from his 12th birthday. This AM after my 2nd lab, also 11, was having issues yesterday afternoon and all night I brought him in at 8 AM. This time I was told that they were booked and too busy to see him. And again to goto an emergency clinic if we had an issue. If they are too busy to see a patient that has been with them their whole lives then my Dog doesn't need to be seen by them and we will find a new Vet. I intend to tell everyone I know with animals about my experiences with this clinic and will not recommend them. There are better clinics in both Rogers and Annandale.

I love this clinic! They are always so nice and friendly. They are a little more expensive than my regular clinic, but St. Michael is way closer to us and has more flexibility with their schedule. I would definitely recommend

I switched vets and am very happy with how we feel dr Zentner has showed compassion and telling us the truth and not trying to get out wallets like some other vets around the area the one I’m talking about will get a review soon which isn’t going to be good . I have been bringing my dachshund to the Big Lake, then later the St. Michael clinic since he was a puppy. He is now 15 years old. He sees Dr. McAlpin who knows him well. Always attentive and quick to return calls of concern. My dachshund has been through so much, and I partially credit the excellent care he has received at these clinics. The receptionists at the St. Michael clinic are friendly and professional, and they truly care about the pets that are brought in to the clinic. This may seem picky, but it did hurt my feelings. Otis passed away in February of 2017, two weeks shy of his 17th birthday. I did receive a card from the clinic. The problem is, it was signed by many, many people, most strangers to us, but Otis' vet of almost 17 years did not even sign the card or give me a call. His oncologist, from 5 years before, even emailed me to make sure I was okay, knowing my attachment to my "baby." Again, I hope that is not petty. I was just disappointed..

We took our dog in for 2 shots a few weeks apart. We were charged an exam charge both times. Just after the 2nd visit, we noticed a scab on our pets back that the vet had obviously missed during the ‘exam’. When we called the clinic back, we mentioned that the vet had missed the scab during the ‘exam’ and we didn’t want to pay another exam charge. They refused to do it. It seems that the ‘exam’ that they charge for doesn’t really happen when you go in for shots. We have 3 dogs and we will not be going back to the clinic, as they seem to be more concerned about short term $$ vs a long term and trusted relationship.
