Having trouble finding a vet taking patients?? That was our challenge a year ago when we moved to Trail. Our research helped us find kettle River Veterinary services a short drive away in Grand Forks!. What an absolute serendipitous event! I'm so happy it turned out the way it did. The drive to Grand forks is lovely, the staff is helpful and friendly, the vets make sure you understand what's going on and what you need to do to help your animal recover. The best part??? The price tag very reasonable. This is a 10 out of 10 veterinary practice. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for veterinary care for their animal in the Kootenays!!

I highly recommend this veterinary clinic! We are from Kelowna and after being quoted a huge amount for dental surgery on our dog, we started to get some different quotes. We were able to get the same surgery for less than half the price at Kettle River Veterinary. I can assure you there was no lack in quality for the price. The ladies were all so kind and took amazing care of our pup. We will be taking all of our animals there in the future.

My family and I have always had very positive experiences with Dr Ruth and her team, and when she was in Saskatchewan the impact was definitely felt in our home. However, I do have a very serious concern that I feel needs attention and rectification. My father has one of the three (almost 4) certified service dogs in our small town and recently she got attacked by a deer. We brought her into Dr Ruth for aid, and as always, I have nothing but kind words to say about her. However, an individual by the facebook alias name "Robert Pooner" who I recently discovered works at her clinic, seems to think that her injuries while working are funny and worth laughing at. Due to his unprofessionalism and representation of her clinic and team, I will be calling her clinic and laying a complaint and putting a note on file that B is not to deal or interact with any of my 9 animals. I am not only disappointed in him, as he is in a position of trust for these animals and their families, but disgusted in his behaviour.

Wasn't there long and it was our first visit for my dog's health check. Staff pleasant. Didn't have to wait long. Gave 4 stars because we didn't have (or need) much interaction with staff to really judge the quality of care. But we'll be going back.

We brought our elderly cat to Dr. Weston Gobbett. He is the first Veterinarian who I felt was very compassionate during a very sad time for us. He made us feel like he knew exactly why our cat meant so much to us and every step was done with kindness and consideration. He is knowledgeable, competent and has a kind heart. Never lose that compassion, Dr. Weston. It does make the big difference! Kudos also to the ladies at the front desk. Your willingness to help and your kindness did not go unnoticed.

My 100lb pitbull needed some love. The staff were amazing and very thorough. Went in once for an exam and antibiotics. Then 2 weeks later went back to have a procedure done. The Dr called me after and explained everything that happened and what was done. 10/10 great customer service all around, not to mention the most reasonably priced clinic I have ever been to.
