Great for minor things. But in more complicated matters I don’t recommend. If your animal gets kidney disease, cancer, or random declines in health— go elsewhere as our experience with two of our animals was not helpful. Misdiagnosed on several occasions and we had to do our own research online to help our animals (which was successful).

This is a great place to bring your pets. I have a high anxiety dog who needs a lot of work to get her relaxed enough for her vaccines, and they always try their best to help her. My dog also had surgery here and it went well.

They saved my dogs life, if for no other reason I love this place. There is a parking lot to the side but it's small so you can't count on finding room, however there is also on street parking. Very friendly staff and quite accommodating with their hours and appointments.

We had to put our furry pal of 15 years down. One of the hardest things we have had to do. Everyone at the clinic was fantastic. They provided a perfect setting to accomplish this both with dignity and compassion. Our pal was treated with the greatest respect. They explained everything prior to the process and gave us all the time we needed before and after sending him off to K9 heaven. I was pleasantly surprised with the service and very thankful we have access to such a great clinic for our pets. Loyal customer for ten years. When my dog needed medical attention, they were not there to tend to him. Instead, my dog ended up being put down at another Vet because my Vet could not fit him into their schedule. When I called back to inform them about my dog's passing, I was told that the manager would call me, but no one ever called. Not even my veterinarian that I saw all these years. I'm heartbroken I lost my dog and the Vet I relied on all these years, wasn't there when I needed them the most.

I just took my dog into the Victoria veterinarian clinic. He had been bitten on the neck from another dog. they asked me to wait outside the door while another person was paying. they made me wait outside for 5 minutes while my dog bled on the sidewalk . they proceeded to tell me "were all booked up"! From my understanding this is an emergency clinic!? I absolutely couldn't believe what I just heard and really proved their care and attention for animals.my girlfriend and I were so scared. Luckily we drove to the 24. hr animal care center and they instantly took us in with open arms. I suggest not going here for an emergency.

Took my kitten in to be spayed she got an infection and died. 12 receptionists 12 vets horrible experience when I had to put my dog down argued with me saying we should do tests he was sick they were more about the money than the pet. According to them my kitten was a dog and my dogs were cats too many people doing the same job no wonder they make mistakes. They ask you to do a survey which you never get and yet you gave them 5 stars? Wish I had never heard of this horrible clinic . There is 1 great Vet there Dr. P. and that's it...will not change my review can't figure out how the win Veterinary clinic achievement every year. I had to put my dog to sleep the "vet" was past rude no condolences.

My family has gone to this vet for over twenty years. Last week was the first time I had to take my cat cosmo in and I was very happy with how he was taken care of. His doctor was Jamie Tudor and she was amazing. She was very kind and gentle with cosmo and you could really tell how much she cared about him. She treated him and gave him two vaccinations and 45 minutes later we were ready to go. Cosmo didn't fell very good after his vaccination, so I called Jamie Tudor back and she was great at explaining that is was a normal reaction and that he should be better in a day or two. She was right and two days later cosmo was all better. I am so thankful for the amazing care she gave my cat. I wouldn't trust taking my animals anywhere else.

With all my dogs health issues and intense separation anxiety the vet has always been a very anxiety ridden situation, but the victoria vet clinic I find very understanding when I ask for estimates and always inform be about what's happening with my dog and what all the options are. I think they're a good veterinary clinic, but, I did have an issue with them. I had them take in my diabetic cat (angel baby muffin pants, Milo for short) to be boarded while I went on a small trip in the summer. When I dropped him off, I brought everything they needed to keep track of his blood sugar, and long story short, was assured that he would be well taken care of, signed the forms, and left. Then once I was a few hours away, I get a call stating that I was misinformed, and for Milo to be monitored, it would cost extra, and, they were reluctant to give him the dose I stated that he usually received because the amt. on his bottle said different. I stated that I was in close contact with my vet, and talked about the dose, and how I did adjust it because his sugar was high. This is why I needed them to monitor him because sometimes his sugar will be different depending on certain factors, especially if he is not fed at his regular times. Which I was also informed that only one person came in on the weekend, and the feeding times would be off. So, more than likely, his sugar will be different, and you need to adjust accordingly. I said that I was assured that this would not be a problem, I even signed their forms. I was told that they would be accommodating this time, but in the future, things would have to be different. I understand that they have regulations, but, I've been dealing with his diabetes for 10+ years, and I have some idea of what's involved to keep his sugar in check. I got a little upset over the fact that I was already miles away, so, I think they realized that they didn't have much choice, especially concidering I signed their papers regarding his care. I am happy that they decided to keep their end of the contract I guess, but, if I wasn't so far away, would I of had to come get him and cancel any plans I had? That's what it was sounding like until I got upset. Anyways, this was my first and only experience..... But I am reluctant to use them in the future.

Very rude staff, I stopped by wanting a second opinion for my cat and I was quickly turned away. The clinic I usually go to said my cat was in critical condition (as he has extreme constipation) and once I told the Victoria Vet Clinic, they stated they don't deal with critical condition animals. We weren't wanting them to treat him, we just wanted a second opinion. So don't bother taking your pet here if they are sick because apparently they don't deal with that.

Took one of my 3 dogs in for a check up and when asked if hes healthy are you ok to vaccinate, I said yes. We ended up not vaccinating him because of some belly issues, but was told within 2 weeks I could still come in to get him vaccinated.... sent 2 emails asking for a time when I could come in and get him vaccinated yet here we are with no reply and its past the 2 weeks. I can guarantee you that I will get a reminder in the mail, but no one can reply with a time for us to come in within their 2 week promise. Really disappointing, since Ive been going there for over 5 yrs.

I would give zero stars if I could. This is the worst place to take your animals and I have fostered and had animals my entire life and visited many vets across the country and this is by far the worst treatment I've ever received. My cat was sick and not eating for almost a week. She was violently vomiting, drooling and had neurologic symptoms. Despite my having brought her in twice within a matter of four days and spending nearly $1000 I did not have any answers, any compassion or even any concern. Dr. Rimes and Dr. Murphy were cold, curt and didn't even do complete and thorough exams of my cat when I brought her in. They forgot to tell me that she had an ear infection so I had to go back and pick up medications. Furthermore, Dr. Murphy wouldn't even attempt a proper rectal exam on my cat, despite her history of bowel resection and megacolon. Dr. Rimes did not want to do an ultrasound on my cat because she said she was too stressed out and it would be best if I came to pick her up. So that's what I did. After three more days of vomiting and not eating I became concerned and called the office, I voiced my concerns and the office told me they couldn't fit me in until the next day. I asked if the vet would call me back, but she didn't. So I ended up bringing my cat into 24hr emergency vet where I got the best care for even less than what I paid for here. I am so disappointed by the care that I got here and I hoped for much better. I do have to say that the other times I've seen Dr. Patzwald I have been happy with her care (she was not working the day that I brought my cat in). Other than this, I would never come here again - even if it was the last option.

The service and care at this vet is good but the prices are getting absurdly high. Cost for a single x-ray for a cat are more than double the costs that my dentist charges to x-ray the teeth in my head. Will be looking for a cheaper place as they appear to be gouging.

Spent $130 on examination and meds to be told my dog might have have cancer in the nerve and might need tests for x-Ray and ultra sound, to find out later that night all he had was fleas. However the staff were friendly and gave treats.
