Dr Bardutz is kind and personable and very patient with our stubborn dog. He's also a skilled surgeon and we trust him 100%. Friendly vet and staff but the blood work prices are too high. Indian Head vet is considerably cheaper and worth the 40 minute drive.

Not only are they great at what they do but they are kind and sincerely care about the animals. This is long overdue, as my dog passed away March '21, but I was only expecting 6 years with Tico due to the medical conditions he was born with. Thanks to Dr. Bardutz, he lived on for 12 years full of adventure and exploration and I can't thank the team at Gardiner Park Animal Hospital enough for making that happen. The staff has always been friendly, and it's obvious that Dr. Bardutz cares so much about our pets. I've brought Tico here since he was a pup, and I wouldn't have done it any other way. I needed emergency help with my leopard gecko and I couldn’t have asked for better care. The staff answered phone calls quickly, got me in fast, and the follow up from the vet really made me feel like my gecko was being treated by the best possible people. I was terrified for the bill as I didn’t know what to expect and I was so relieved that it was a reasonable amount. I couldn’t have asked for anything better.

His consultations during appointments always leave me with new information and confirms that i picked the right vet. I live in the Northwest but i drive all the way to the east end even though there are other vets closer to me. I wouldn't take my pet anywhere else.

I took my guinea pig there that was having seizures. He passed away unfortunately but before he did the staff was going out and gathering dandelions for him, cuddling him and the guinea pig pretty much lived his last days at a resort. The care was amazing and they did everything they could do to save him. We have a new puppy and are now going there for these reasons.

You cannot get more loving, experienced care from a veterinary team. Dr. Bardutz is not only an excellent vet, he takes the time to explain, showing his care and concern every time we are there. When you come in with your pet, you are met with a friendly greeting, the assistance of the team, and answers to questions you may have. After reading all these comments I am sure that Gardiner park is great with most animals. However, I had my sick hamster into them twice and they insisted she was ok. A week later I took her to Albert North and instantly they said she was suffering from an infection and dehydration. This would have been better to find out sooner rather than later. Again, I am sure they are great with other animals, they just could not help my hamster.

After reading all the positive reviews, we chose this clinic for our two newly adopted 7 year old Shih Tzus. We have not been disappointed! Our dogs have only had two visits so far, but the process from booking to treatment to briefing after the appointment has been easy and stress-free! Staff are friendly over the phone and in person when retrieving our pets from the car (COVID safety protocols currently prevent us from entering the clinic). Being new pet parents, we greatly appreciate the time that Dr. Bardutz takes at the end of the appointment to thoroughly brief you and ensure all your questions are answered before leaving. Overall, we're very happy to have chosen Gardiner Park Animal Hospital!
