I was very impressed with The Dog & Cat Hospital in Clearview. They treated my little kitty so nicely, didn't push her when she was uncomfortable and did a fantastic job on her spay. They were professional, responsive and very easy to work with. I had got quotes from a few places in central Alberta and they had the best prices for the spaying operation. They gave clear instructions for the after care and I will definitely be bringing my other animals in under their care. I highly recommend this place.

This is an incredible facility! I highly recommend them! The staff are so friendly and helpful. All the doctor's and technicians are so thorough, and professional, and have a genuine love for animals. They explain Everything to you, and make you feel right at home. Their attention to detail is amazing, right down to any allergies your pet my have, as they give them treats to keep them calm and happy during procedures. I recently had x rays taken for my puppy and Dr. Straub took us to the computer and went over every detail with me, explaining everything and telling me exactly how to care for my puppy, and help her heal from her injury. They made me aware of any and all risks involved with my puppy's medication, including how to administer her prescription at home, and any risks with her having to be sedated. They also give you an estimate of cost before going forward with any procedure, and explain the individual costs, so you're not blindsided with an unexpected bill. I felt confident because of the knowledge they passed along to me, and most importantly, my puppy feels comfortable when we go there. She knows she's going to be treated with love, and probably get a treat! I cannot thank them enough for the amazing care and love they showed me and my pet! ????

Loved taking my cat here. It was nice to be able to stay with her for the process while she got her shots. They were so nice and gentle with her. They really took the time to talk me through the whole process of what they were doing while helping her stay calm and comfortable. Definitely going back here and would recommend it to anybody looking for a professional vet for their cat :)

Our hearts have been blown wide open by the staff at Dog & Cat Hospital Ltd as they continue to go above and beyond in caring for our sweet kitten, Noodles. Due to COVID restrictions we have not been able to see her while she has been in the hospital, but before she headed into surgery this morning they invited us in to giver her kisses and cuddles. They have been updating us regularly, via phone for the past two days, and we even got a phone call mid surgery to let us know how it was going. The compassion and love for the animals they treat (and their families) is truly incredible. Thank you Dr Sarah Fahey, Dr Kristi Askin Volk, Candice Blum and all of the wonderful staff who have loved on and cared for our sweet Noodles and listened to and comforted us on the phone while we cried. You have touched our hearts more than you will ever know ????

I had an excellent experience with the Veterinarian, Dr. Ryan Skinner, and the staff at the Clearview Dog &Cat Hospital this week, who provided professional surgical care for my cat Sparkle. Dr. Skinner explained detailed updates throughout her procedure and I was given precise post-operative medication instructions for my cat. I also received follow-up communication to ensure Sparkle was continuing to do well. I definately recommend this veterinary hospital.

Dr Sarah Fahey has shown so much compassion for my friends’ dog Grem. He is so very sick and she is doing everything possible to ensure he can be home with them and be the happy dog he was. She spends time with the family so they know and understand everything. Never rushes them. She’s terrific.

Pushy veterinarian to do what "they" would do, no helpful advice given if u choose the home care option, then no follow up. I made my "own" choice to care for my dog at home and got advice from a friends vet and then my dog was great. Was shocked the vet couldn't give me that advice .

The best place to take your pets bar none. My dog is a complete lemon with a million problems and Dr. Fahey and the staff have fought along side me for the last 8 years to keep him alive when no one else would. He was handed a death sentence at a year old and Dr. Fahey said if I’m willing to fight for him so would she and we have done just that. He’s beaten so many odds and continues to do so with their help. They genuinely care about the animals and their people and go over and above all the time to prove it. They are extremely knowledgeable and skilled and work hard for every patient.

My cat is a difficult patient and gets very stressed and irritable on the way to the clinic as well as in the clinic! I love that the staff was so good with him and allowed him to adjust to his environment before any examinations, etc. They obviously treated him very well during his "day stay" as I could tell even when I got him home that he was not near as traumatized as he was after his last vet experience at a different clinic. The staff is thorough, pleasant, helpful and I loved that they emailed me a complete report with all the test results and doctor comments/recommendations. Very very impressed!!! ** Further to my comments above... i recently had to make one of the most difficult, heart wrenching decisions in my life, to euthanize my beloved cat. The staff was so compassionate, caring and gave me all the time i needed to say my final good-byes. I will forever be grateful for your kindness towards me and him in his final moments.

Terrible vet clinic. They are over priced and have terrible hours. Some of the rudest people working the front desk. I would recommend Taylor vet clinic they are friendly and very helpful . Dog and cat clinic just make trying to buy even dog food a huge hassle now. Do not go there!!!

She was misdiagnosed at two other clinics and was not doing well when our Vetranarian at the Dog & Cat Hospital started to investigate. I have to admit, Dog & Cat Hospital is the best veterinary and without a doubt would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing a vet for any reason. We came upon Dog & Cat Hospital after adopting our Daisy, a Milk River Dog. As this hospital cared for Daisy when she was rescued, we kept the same veterinary and it was and is the best choice we have made. The care and compassion from everyone there is fabulous and receiving the health report online is fantastic. Thank You for keeping our Daisy healthy and happy!

I have now had a couple of bad experiences here recently - but most upsetting is the annual exam appointment that was booked for me without my consent for two of my pets...and then I was LIED to on both of these occasions when I called to say that I did not make the appointment( they tried to tell me that their nurse practitioner would have booked it with me at their last check up, which did not happen). Super unprofessional to lie to clients about their auto-booking program!

The entire staff is the best - some of the most passionate people I have ever met when it comes to peoples pets. I brought in a dog we are looking to adopt and they couldn't have been more helpful in assessing the dogs health, recommending a proper diet and overall treating the animal with kindness.

Good vets. Poor communication between staff and vets when relaying pet owner concerns, making it difficult when the covid protocol prevents the pet owners from being present with pet. A couple of the staff members are not really very courteous or kind. --------- Thank you for your response. That will make things much easier for myself and my pets next time we are in.

Charged for an x-ray that wasn't needed and that I didn't ask for (my dogs tail was broken when he was a pup) and my dog developed a skin irritation after his neuter which has stayed with him despite several medications, diet change and different shampoos.

From the moment we entered your clinic to the moment we left, and then afterwards as well, you made us and our dog, Cooper, feel like family. I felt very pressured. I was pushed to buy their food and a tablet that was "optional" was forced on me by the Dr. The receptionist actually asked if I wanted the tablets. They gave my cat a vacine without even asking me or informing me they were going to give it to her. I will not go back.

Brought our anxious dog in for review. She loves getting into the vehicle but hates the travel. After discussing what our dogs issues were and questions from the Doctor, we found that our rescued dog has a lot more anxiety triggers than first thought. After talking about our dogs problems and all the questions I asked, I found that the Doctor was very knowledgeable and straightforward with her diagnosis and treatment. Even when I forgot a basic question, the office was quick to get back to me with an answer.
