this is a neat, tidy, clean cut clinic full of friendly, knowledgeable staff eager to help you in any way they can. My older dog feels quite comfortable going to this clinic, I feel comfort in knowing a vet is there 24 hours for emergency calls. If you have a question from home there always willing to call you back with advice. Super team effort!

It was our first visit but it went well, friendly staff, running on time. It would have been nice to go in but that's a COVID issue not a clinic issue and hopefully done soon.

Mediocre Productions

My dog's skin was grey, scaly, and falling out. I took her to Park Range where they said it was probably due to poor diet, gave me a fish oil supplement and sent me on my way. I decided to get a second opinion after my dog's skin continued to worsen. At South Hill they did a skin scraping and found the problem right away. My dog's skin has gotten a lot better and her fur has grown back. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Very friendly staff, accommodating towards my schedule with work for later appointments. My dog needs monthly allergy shots and has a special diet; they are helpful and the services are affordable. My dog and two cats get their services here. Highly recommend.

Great service. Very friendly with the animals. Reminders to come in for appointments. Price is average and on par with other vets in area. I've been going to this vet since I adopted my dog and we've always been treated well. They offer emergency services if your animal is sick in the middle of the night, very handy!

I called about my cats lung problem and the veterinarians basically just told me to go somewhere else, almost like they dont like indigenous people. If your pet is sick and your native and in need of a veterinarians help look elsewhere please

It appears to be good place to get animals checked thats a 5 STAR, but 3 STARS IS for the RUDE behavior of the ONE lady who answers the phones is astoundingly ignorant to clients. Also during consult some staff are rude too. You can be polite and we know your busy, but after we pay you to do a sevice it shouldnt include to be riddled with rudeness on phone or during the visit! My view on the senario...

They were very accommodating with getting me an instant same day appt for my two dogs for vaccines so I could get them into the kennel and get to a flight. Saved my weekend! Dr. Bergeron was amazing with my very skittish dogs. She also help standardize their immunization regime so I don't have to go two times a year now. Was a great experience and I really appreciated their help.

The customer service is the clear downfall of this vet clinic. Yes the animal care is important in a business but so is the treatment of the people paying for the services provided. I had booked an appointment for my dog and showed up 15 mins early to be told over the phone that they had no record of the appointment as they were fully booked. The appointment was made and the person on the phone even had the audacity to suggest that perhaps I was mistaken and had booked at another vet. This type of rude, subpar, incompetent customer service wasn't surprising as this has happened before. We had both of our dogs looked after there for years but this unapologetic attitude with not honoring my dogs appointment was the final straw. I would recommend another vet unless you want to be treated ignorantly and with disregard as a paying customer.

absolutely attrocious unprofessional attitude. got charged an extra fee for being 5 minutes late even tho we had called and informed them the roads were awful. told us they were swamped and super busy when there was only one other person who was there BEFORE us. 0 out of 5 stars. minus stars if possible. even the appointment which we still made took only 5-10 minutes. 10 percent of this appointment seemed only to be an actual exam on our animal please llease buyer beware and really think twice before you take your furry friends to this money grabbing pit of a business

Dr. Bergeron, is undoubtedly the best vet. She is caring and compassionate and treats your pets like her own. If you have any questions she will get back to you as soon as she can, no matter how busy her day. I would highly recommend South Hill Animal Clinic.

Both of our dogs have some health issues. Our little guy has urinary issues and we almost lost him. in a panic we took him to the clinic as we noticed he wasn't peeing and Dr Bergeron took him in immediately and found out he has rare stones and had to get him in for surgery immediately to remove the blockage he had. They did follow up phone calls to see how he was doing after we had took him home, as well as providing us with information as to the proper diet and care we could do to help prevent the blockage to keep reoccurring. The staff at the clinic are absolutely wonderful in helping us provide the proper care that our fur babies need. They are very responsive with phone calls and emails. I love the fact that if I have a concern I can email a picture with questions and will receive a callback to discuss. I can't think of anything that would've made our experience any better. Everyone is always so friendly and helpful to provide the care my fur babies need. I can't thank you all enough for everything you have done for us :)

Honestly, they take good care of the animals, and I have no doubt that they have the best intentions. BUT I am ALWAYS disappointed with the customer service. Not once have they answered the phone and given me the time of day without me having to be assertive, I’m ALWAYS kept waiting 20+ minutes for an appointment (once I was kept waiting for an HOUR, for them to return my furbaby after 15 minutes), and every time I call I’m put on hold regardless of what I was calling in for. If there was another vet in the city I wouldn’t come here. I’m usually a really patient and understanding person, and with COVID, I get it, but it’s absolutely every time. They get 3 stars for caring for my fur babies.

2 thumbs up, 5 gold stars, ten out of ten. Our border collie mix needed a tartar cleaning and they did an amazing job, gave us all the supplies we needed to nurse her back to her usual self, and were so kind even when I was frazzled picking her up. They quoted us on the most realistic high end and it ended up being half that. They have helped us really know our "puppy" and unwittingly have provided the supports for upping her care.

We took our cat to be fixed and they were happy to take our money for the procedure. They performed half the procedure in that they claim to have only been able to find one ovarie. The incision became infected so we had to take her back a week later and our cat had to be put under again and be pumped full of antibiotics and then spend a week in a cone and now here we are 2 weeks after the 2nd visit and our cat is in heat. They claim that our cat has an abnormal/underdeveloped uterus and that we will have to take her to Saskatoon to get a ultrasound and have another operation. Just to break down the cost here related to the spay $200 for the spay(partial I guess) $62 for the office call $160 for the 2nd visit We are easily over $400 now and my cat is still not fixed properly and they are suggesting that we take her to Saskatoon for a $325 ultrasound and then probably another surgery. This whole ordeal has been a nightmare for us and our cat and Im left here thinking how much this is going to cost to get done properly and is it even worth it to put our pet through this again.
