I 100% blame her for my dogs death. $2,000 worth of charges for malpractice. Cant even diagnose blood work. My poor dog suffered with pancreatitis untreated being told "she's fine". Next dogs getting a new vet.

Very courteous staff and the doctor is helpful at making sure your pet gets the medicines it needs and without making the health care costs really expensive. They are adhering to COVID-19 restrictions of making an advanced appointment to bring in your pet(s) and also waiting in the car with your pet(s) until the front desk says you can come into the waiting room.

They do a great job with my Leia. The last two times I've been there, Ive had to wait a little too long. Even with an appointment. I can see maybe 20 to 25 minutes, but it's been an hour and a half is little much. That's my only complaint.

My cat ate a ribbon and 2 days later was had a fever and started to vomit. We took him in and was pleased that despite the COVID regulations, Dr. Debbie was communicative and calmly explained what they felt would be the best course of action. She graciously answered all our questions and gave us options with a clear idea of what we could expect to happen. We opted for surgery to err on the side of caution. He had a surgery the next day and luckily was able to pass it on his own after. The staff was helpful and quick to get us in the office. An emergency vet had wanted to charge us $5000+, board him for 2 days, and used scare tactics to try and pressure us to pay them; at Placentia Veterinary Clinic we paid less than $1400 in total, took our cat home the same day, and felt informed and in control of our pets care. Will be coming back for regular check ups and to have his stitches out this week. Highly recommend!!

Update from last year. Same 5 stars. Dr Debbie runs a great clinic with a common sense approach. They work with you, explain everything, and do not over sell or over prescribe anything. We had our dogs there for routine shots and even the dogs liked being there. We did wait a little longer tha. We would have liked, but the quality of care and caring staff over rides that. We will be back like we have been since 1991.

Dr Debbie is amazing. We had an 18 year old dog and her last year, as to be expected, required several visits to the vet. She cared for our little girl with professionalism and compassion providing sensible solutions and care. Unlike so many corporate vets Placentia Veterinary Clinic and Dr Debbie don't take advantage of your emotions by recommending expensive treatments that fail to extend the quality of your pets life. And when the time came to put our little dog down her entire office was compassionate and supportive and showed real concern for our feelings. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Amazing people...

Dr. Debbie is an excellent Vet. The staff is very helpful, professional and compassionate with the animals. Every time I have visited the clinic I have had a positive experience. I am so grateful for Dr Debbie and her staff as my puppy had been hit by a car, I had been advised by other vets to amputate Cali's leg or even put her down. Thank God my friend Steve referred me to Dr Debbie and Placentia Veterinary Clinic as my beautiful puppy Cali is completely recovered, happy, healthy and she runs like the wind!

We took our pup over on New Year's Eve. The clinic was very crowded, but they were efficient and tried to address every patient with precision and care. When it was our turn they advised us that due to the holiday it would be a 5 hour wait. We were given some comforting advice that we were probably safe to take the pup home and just keep an eye on her (watch for specific symptoms). It was the perfect suggestion and all turned out well for us. It was comforting to have that information. Very grateful for the professionals who worked through the holiday!

Great vet but they’re old fashioned. They only use paper records so if you need any paperwork for your pet you literally have to go in to the office and get it in person. Apparently they are not capable of taking a picture and sending it through email as a jpeg or pdf. Please join the 21st century and upgrade to paperless records or just learn how to scan documents with a camera phone if you don’t want to shell out the $ for a scanner

Excellent Vet Hospital. Dr. Debbie C really cares about her patients. She was professional, thorough and extremely helpful with my precarious situation since my puppy was hit by a car. The best experience I've had with a Veterinarian and I've been to many. Excellent clinic, all personnel that I encountered very kind, helpful, professional and knowledgeable. My 4 Daschunds have been patients of Placentia Veterinary Clinic since 2000. Dr. Evans and Dr. Debbie Casaveres have treated me and my dogs with the very best care and professionalism. Dr. Casaveres has carried on Dr. Evans caring and loving attitude since his recent retirement. They are truly the best people to entrust my dog's health care to. Many times have I brought my pups into their office and walked out without being charged. They truly make having pets very affordable. She really loves animals and really cares for your pet. The staff is fantastic! They are all very kind and take great care of your pet as well. The prices are very reasonable. I love Placentia Vet! Excellent staff, started going there when Dr.Evans was still working. Our furbaby is a 9lb Jack Russell Terrier, her name is Boo and she is 16 years old. Dr. Evans and his staff show so much love and committment. Boo is completely blind and partially deaf but still rocks it like a little puppy. Wanted to add that since Dr. Debbie started seeing Boo, we love her just as much.

Took my dog for ultra sound between 8-9 am having not been able to eat since midnight. After arriving at 3pm, I called office to pick up my dog. receptionist stated that the ultra sound had not been completed and were waiting on the technician. upset that I wasnt contacted the reception stated quote#thats not on us thats on the technician. I spoke with the doctor(Debbie) and stated that I could wait another 45 minutes or until the technician showed. I told her no way. This is the third appointment I have had with this place and have had to wait way past the promised time. Too bad Dr. Evans is not there still. This clinic takes advantage of the customer, To keep a pet caged up for seven or more hours without eating or drinking and I bet not going to the restroom is just not right. I was going to pay $600-$700. What a ripoff

Been coming here for years. After Covid, had major delays. In my last three appointments, never have I been seen at my scheduled appointment time. At least one hour delay . Right now I’m at 50 mins and counting. I called and again the same excuses. This is the last time I am using this place!

The staff are very attentive, caring, and smart. They have excellent skills and they have compassionate hearts which combine to give your pet the best experience. They have taken care of our three dogs for many years and we trust them to give our dogs the best care. They don't prescribe a bunch of unnecessary tests to run up the bill. Many of our follow up visits were free. They are an honest vet who cares about you and your pet...a rare find.

Last year we had to make the tough decision all pet owners need to do at some point. Our 16 year old Labrador was unable to walk. The veterinarian who assisted us was one of the most caring pet care givers I had ever met. Our family member went to “Rainbow Bridge” to wait for us and the doctor ensured he was comfortable and kept his dignity as he did so. Thank you Placentia Veterinary Clinic.

We took our dog in for emergency surgery from another dog bite. The doctor saw him rapidly and took him into surgery promptly. However he never called to give us an update in the remaining 15 hours he was at the center. We called repeatedly with no information. Also when we returned home we found that the veterinarian had missed a puncture wound through into his ear canal. So he had an a raging infection in that ear when we returned.

I am beyond happy with my experience at Placentia Veterinary Clinic! I just moved to the area and with my move I had to leave my previous vet behind. I was extremely hesitant when looking for a new vet because I have had negative experiences in the past. I have six fur babies so I am at the vet more than most! But yesterday when my litter of 2 week old French Bulldog puppies got sick I was forced to take them in to a new veterinary clinic. This clinic was able to get me an appointment next day and Dr. Debbie as well as the staff were amazing! Every employee I talked to on the phone was so kind and informative. Not only was Dr. Debbie very upfront and honest but she was extremely sympathetic as well. I could tell she really cared about my babies. They will have my business here on out and they should have yours too!

After years of treatment for diabetes blindness and breathing issues at Yolinda Vet it was time to put our dog down. Unfortunately Yolinda would not allow even one family member to be present . “ you’ll have to drop him off at the door “ was the response on the phone. Unwilling to just drop off our dog I searched for another Vet. Placenta Veterinary Clinic was not only extremely sympathetic but also said I could be there to hold our dog as he passed on. The doctor and all the staff were amazing . They not only gave me all the time I needed but were incredibly sympathetic. The kindness they showed me was elevated to another level when to my surprise I received a card from them with personal notes from everyone who helped me as well as two copies of Earnie’s paw prints. I’m normally not a person who writes reviews but Placentia Veterinary Clinic is so far above and beyond any other vet I had to say something. Thank you Dr. Debbie , Imelda and Ashley your professionalisms and genuine caring was a great comfort to me in that difficult time. I will be a customer for life .
