Our pets were treated well and there was good follow up procedure. I compared prices in Peterborough and Burnham mansion was the most reasonably priced. I recommend this vet.

should be 1 star but the staff was nice. the doc was clumbsy berly spoke english and when he lifted my dog he hit her head hard on the cabnet! and he was just like “oops” it was loud! if was my head id be yellin at him! could berly understand 2 words i had to guess what he was saying mostly. why did they give this guy a license? i just cant get over how he just said oops when my dog could have a concussion based on his stupidity. i wonder if he was the janitor filling in for the real doctor. i almost forgot the dogs were wailing in the other rooms when the owners left. never bringing ,y dog back there again.no way!

Took my 2 dwarf hamsters here for a nail trimming and an exam. Staff was lovely, atmosphere was great, and prices were reasonable. Definitely recommend!

Made me give my dog meds that from my experience made her irritable while she was on it once before. Because I couldn't prove it, I was told I had no basis for my claim and was given the same meds again instead of offering another option. Guess what. Same thing happened. Was quoted a price to have my pup spayed. When the price given seemed quite low I questioned it and was assured that the price was correct. Went ahead with the spay and when I went to pick up my dog the price was more than tripple what I was quoted. I asked to pay the price quoted but was turned down because it was a mistake. Get it on paper first folks! Unfortunately I'm not going back. Over priced and don't seem generally concerned when you question them.

They do their very best to ensure the health treatment is both best for pet, family dynamic, and what is affordable to each family. They offer options and information about each option. I've never had a vet visit before them where I felt helpless, uninvolved and empty until I went there. I'm very thankful for their services, and would recommend Burnham to anyone. <3

Took in my senior kitty (19) for a haircut and I could not be happier. Everyone I dealt with was friendly and helpful, but especially the groomer she was lovely. She did a lion cut and it's adorable. The mansion itself is a historic building and it's decorated beautifully. Definitely going to be recommending Burnbam Mansion Vet to everyone and I will definitely be going back.

I have recently switched to Burnham from High Street and so far they have been amazing. I see other people complaining about being asked about additional tests and results however I feel that I will always give my dog the best treatment and tests to ensure she is healthy! My dog has had to go in about 3 times during the last week due to mistakes from my other vet and although Burnham is quite expensive, I feel it is definitely worth it. My first appointment I was late due to my own mistake and they were so understanding and kind and allowed me to come in when I could. They cuddled my dog, pet her, spoke to her which calmed my highly anxious dog. They were very reassuring and helpful when I told them my dog needs a lot of attention and "emotional support" as she's had terrible experiences in the past. My partner took her in for her most recent visits and it was absolutely amazing to be receiving updates that he could hear them talking to her and comforting her in the back room, it is SO important to know how a vet is treating your pet when you're not around. After her blood work the vet actually called the front desk woman to come back and cuddle her before sending her home. After a whole scare due to my old vet making me think my dog had heartworm without letting me know and not retesting the results, the woman who called me from Burnham to let me know my pup was all good APOLOGIZED for "making me cry" on the phone earlier when they told me they wanted to do a retest to just make sure it was a mistake from my old vet, it was just so nice. They care about you and your pets! I can't say enough good things.

We recently had to put our beloved cat down. Burnham Mansion vet clinic was very considerate and thoughtful during the process and at all times the staff made us feel like the best interests of the cat were put forward at all times. The building is beautiful and was interesting to see the changes they have made to this wonderful heritage home. There were a few items that could be tucked away that were obviously being used as part of a renovation that was on hold, but it did not take away from the experience of you can look past these things. Staff were fantastic and should be proud of their work.

Amazing staff and location. You can tell they are really good with animals. Also fair with pricing - they seem honest and do not push products your pet does not need. They also gave an incredible "welcome package" with a back pack and doggie items.

Burnham used to be excellent when Dr. Tracey Manley was the vet as she was kind, clear, knowledgeable, gentle and friendly which is saying a lot as most veterinary places aren't. She made me want to bring my dog here. But she is no longer there. No idea why. Maybe they didn't pay her enough or treated her badly or she moved on somewhere else. If the managers fired her, they should ashamed as she was the best vet I have come across in over 20 years. I imagine she chose to leave. I will say the staff are friendly though. However, they now have a pakistan lady as the main vet who barely speaks a word of english and is very very hard to understand. She may be a good vet but poor communication is a make or break for me. I used to love bringing our dog here but we won't be returning now. I have heard this one is going the way of Jackson Creek.... downhill. Will be searching for a different vets from here on out.

This past Monday we had our very first appointment at Burnham Mansion Vet. When we first walked through the door we were greeted by a very friendly receptionist who walked us to a very warm and welcoming office/room. The vet was very informative and thorough! Our puppy Phoebe was comfortable and happy the entire visit. Not only are the staff amazing but the atmosphere at Burnham Mansion Vet is awesome. So warm and welcoming. I highly recommend!!

Over 1300 dollars spent here for nothing! Took our dog in for an infection/fungus that they didn’t know how to treat. Sent away for a culture and given an ear flush and sent home with pills. Oh wait, during pre op they noticed another issue so let’s try and make some more money out of this deal!!! Our dog was pretty traumatized by this experience and took her forever to emotionally to recover back to herself almost. Only thing is the infection/fungus never went away! NOT IMPRESSED!!!

Dr Tracy and Dr Sugi are incredible and have always treated our furry children with respect and compassion. They never push unnecessary treatments and they take time to answer all of our questions (and we always have lots). First time ever visiting here, and I've got to say, the people there are amazing and quite friendly. My poor cat has tapeworms, emailed them in the morning, got a call in the afternoon and they got me in that afternoon at 430. From start to finish, it was a very positive experience for both myself, and even though he won't say it, my cat too. I'm sure he's happy to be rid of his best friends that goes where he goes and eats what he eats. And the old mansion, that's quite something to see as well! Definitely recommend!
