Good experience. Staff are service/customer oriented. They take good care of my dogs. Other comments talk about not helping emergency situations because they're "fully booked". This is disturbing. I would gladly relinquish a time slot for an emerg. Don't understand the position.

I loved that I was allowed inside with my dog for a face to face with the vet. As a concerned fur-dad, there is nothing more disheartening or impersonal than handing your dog off to a tech and waiting for a phone call about treatment options. I understand and appreciate the current climate, and other clinics are doing what is right by them and their staff, and so I am exceptionally grateful for the first rate experience I received and very friendly staff.

We have been loyal clients of Dr. Proudfoot's for over 20 years, we have 5 dogs that are up to date on all their veterinary care. We called in DURING WORKING HOURS with an emergency a few days ago and the clinic would not see us, they wanted us to drive 90 minutes to Fairfield Vet clinic in Kelowna. The dog was bleeding and in distress. Another vet clinic in Penticton re arranged their entire schedule to see our dog and saved his life. I am very disappointed in South Okanagan Animal Care Centre and will be taking my dogs elsewhere.

SOACC is very accommodating and very pleasant to deal with. They never rush you off the phone, they listen to your concerns and make sure they understand what you need answered. I am a newer client there, but so far, very happy.

We had an emergency with one of our cats during business hours 8:30 am, so we called the vets office and Fairfield in Kelowna picked up, we wanted to speak to our vet so we waited a few more minutes and called again, same thing, tryed this 4 times, by then it was 8:45, Fairfield's last reply was, give them an hour, I was not impressed, if a business is to be open at 8:30, I would assume that means you can call them at that time. We had to go to another vets office and were in within 10 minutes

If you have a urgent need to see a vet you are told to go to Kelowna. No phone call back to let you know when u asked for a call back. I asked for advice for my dying dog and was told they do not do phone consults. When replied this was not okay I was told I could go to any other vet. Dr proudfoot would never have done this. Go to another vet if your animal is in need of urgent care. My pet passed away before the appointment. Was not pleased with the clerical staff. Did not feel I was helped out until I spoke with manager and even then it was too late to see a vet they had all left for the day

I took my dog here for some dental work recently, and I will be going forward as a regular patron of their services. They were friendly, compassionate, and truly wonderful with my dog. They made his whole experience much more comfortable and helped keep me up to speed with regular updates on his recovery and any changes that were made during the procedure. Definitely top tier in service!
