Everyone at St. Laurent Animal Hospital is so incredibly professional, kind, caring, compassionate, and helpful; I honestly can't say enough good things about this veterinary hospital. I've had nothing but good experiences here and they take such amazing care of my furbaby kitty every single time. The fees are also very reasonable and they truly do have your fur babies' best interests in mind always. I have and continue to recommend St. Laurent Animal Hospital through and through! ???? There aren't any words that can express how grateful my family and I are for the care they took with our fur baby. Today we had to say our goodbyes to our sweet, sweet boy. I've never received so much compassion from any vet office as I did today. My head is all over the place so I unfortunately cannot remember the name of one of the staff there but she was amazing. Sophie and Tim (I feel rude not remembering the doctors last name) were amazing. Clearly a good team that works well together. They're quick but not so quick that they forget about the compassionate side of their job.

Though I am deeply upset by my experience, I will preface by acknowledging that times are hectic for all vets right now and I was grateful to have found a vet accepting new patients. However, I brought my puppy to this vet after having called ahead to make the appointment. I remember finding it odd that the administrator did not ask me any questions about my dog's age or medical history, but I went ahead and booked an appointment for his second round of shots and a microchip. When we got there and my dog had already been examined, I learned that he was too young for the shots and that is was not recommended to microchip him at this time (the entire reason for our visit). I could have saved myself $40 and 2 hours if the administrator had asked more questions initially and instead booked us in when he was eligible for the services we requested. Very unfortunate.

Love the staff there! They are super helpful, very friendly and approachable, and are always happy to see my cat! They gave me a detailed description of the care my animal needed and were very helpful even when I called back for further instruction. Although I haven't been inside the clinic because of covid, I am very pleased with the way care is handled! Highly recommend!!

Dr. Merchant is wonderful with our kittens - Zorro and Ori. She is extremely patient and has answered all of our questions regarding cats - we are first time cat owners and have lots of questions! Dr. Ramoutar is an excellent diagnostician! After numerous visits at another veterinarian clinic, I decided to switch clinic and see Dr. Ramoutar. Without delay, she was able to give a proper diagnosis and prescribed appropriate medications. My Pekingese had a skin condition, and instead of having me spend all my money on expensive tests, they came up with a logical and cost effective plan to diagnose by elimination. Luckily, it was the first (and cheapest) solution that worked. I've been to many vets all around Ottawa, and they are probably the best so far.

I've been to a lot of vets in Ottawa over the years, and many are only interested in tugging on your heartstrings so they can rip you off with unnecessary tests and procedures. That's not the case with St. Laurent Animal Hospital. I would recommend Dr. Kral to anyone looking for honest, quality care for their pet.

Brought my dog to blair animal hospital...with my dog having sore mouth...they wanted over 3.000 for surgery to remove 2 teeth and everything else that included this procedure ..includind meds etc......brought her to stlaurent animal hospital they charge me under 300 .to remove 2 loose tooth ...and meds to come home with.... Wow...please ...always get a second opinion on your pets ..

I decided to consult St. Laurent Animal Hospital to get my bunny Ava spayed. I was a little worried about the procedure (as any bun mom would be!) but they were responsive, understanding and helpful from the beginning until the very end. When I dropped her off, they explained everything and made me feel better and less stressed about the surgery. After she was ready, they called me to let me know how it went and the doctor explained everything in detail. The next morning, Ava wasn't feeling good and they asked me to come in right away. They gave her extra medication and took really good care of her. They called again two days post-op to ask how she was doing. I'm really happy that I took Ava there and I couldn't have had a better experience. Little Pablo will be going there for his neuter when it's time and I will definitely go back for future appointment.

Took my Trixie there wasn't walking straight and we found out it was her knee cap so they put it in gave her meds and back in a week we sat in the car while they came picked her up dropped her off and pay tap and gone the doctor explained it all to us and we where happy it wasn't something bad thx a ton

I just had my first experience at this office today and I am so happy that I did! Friendly staff, Dr. Allison was great with my cat and was very helpful in making sure that I understood her diagnosis and prescription information. Her and the rest of the staff were very thorough and kind. I will definitely be switching the rest of my pets over to this office, and highly recommend it to anyone in the area.

St. Laurent animal hospital has hardly any parking. It is small inside with hardly anywhere to sit and not well cleaned, dusty under the sits.The staff is ok but not as friendly as other places I went to. I took my sister there with her 14 year old dog. When my sister wanted a second opinion the human society was called on her by Sophie. I didn't like their services, it didn't mean for the human society to be involved. We are all here to help a dog in need to get better. Sadly the dog passed away from cancer. The cost wasn't what was told and who closed on Tuesday at 4pm and not available weekends. I wouldn't go there again. I believe Sophie isn't professional, and not friendly because of her actions and I still believe she should be fired for accusing someone of being cruel to their animal which clearly they weren't, all they wanted to do was to make their 14 year old dog better and got a second opinion to save their dog. That is my opinion not everyone else's. We all have a right to speak out on the I internet good or bad.

I called in advance and got their answering machine.. Figured they were busy. I listen to the entire message to make sure they were open. But when I went there, the ONLY vet wasn't in.. The secretary referred me to a different animal clinic. Huge waste of my time, so take note: the vet leaves at 12 on Tuesdays, even though they are open till 4.

I called about euthanizing our family cat. I was told that there would be a $60 exam fee despite the fact that the cat was 16yrs old and clearly dying. The total fee for euthanasia was $268. I ended up taking the poor sick cat to the Ottawa Humane Society where i received more compassion and a much more affordable euthanasia fee of $75.

Quick service, reasonably priced, and friendly staff! Vet listened to and addressed each of the concerns I had for my aging dog. He normally hates the vet but he walked out of the office looking so happy (despite having his anal glands expressed, getting shaved under his tail and side, and having to give a blood sample). My husband and I were both amazed they were able to do anything to his back side because he doesn't like anybody touching his behind!

Brought my little pitty here today for her shots and I couldn’t be happier! They treated her like she was gold. Not only are you dealing with professionals here, but also pet lovers, who understand and will offer advice if you have any questions. They offer suggestions to help with puppy’s behaviours and I found them to be incredibly helpful with my girls teething. Can’t stress enough how incredible they were with my girl. To the staff today and the doctor, thank you so much for being gentle, playful and kind to my baby girl. It’s appreciated so much.
