Dr.Miriam is an AMAZING vet!!! Although this trip I just went to get cat food, she is the best vet I've ever gone too! She is great with animals and so informative. She is just a really, really nice person and she cares SO much about the animals. I had brought my cat in and was concerned later on after the appointment about something and I called the office, everyone in the office is always so helpful, kind and friendly and they told Dr. Miriam my concers, she actually called me at like 830 that evening to make sure that my cat was doing ok!!! The staff are all amazing and super helpful and so friendly! Going to the vet is not always a light and easy trip but they make it much easier! I totally recommend going to see Dr. Miriam, in my opinion she is the BEST!!!

I came here in the morning with my cat who was very sick. We came because we live in the area - but I didn’t expect the service I got. Nancy at the front desk was so kind, calm and professional when checking us in and throughout our experience. Immediately we saw the technician Laura who was very sweet, gentle which was appreciated. Lastly we met the vet Miriam Bouleau (sp?) who within minutes of listening to my cat advised us of issues we suspected might be the problem. Over-all she was very professional, understanding, and she listened to our cat but us as owners too, I cannot forget to mention how accommodating everyone was as well. They gave us information to study about what might be going on with our cat - and over all treated us and our fur baby like no other vet or doctor could. Thank you guys so much.

The team at City View is outstanding and you can't go wrong bringing your pets here. I have been taking my pets to Dr. Boileau for the last 10 years, and have only good things to say about her, the other vets, and the rest of the clinic staff. Recently, my aging dog was doing poorly and I called for an appointment. Nancy could hear the concern in my voice and managed to get me squeezed in the same day, despite being fully booked for the next several days. Dr. Boileau carefully examined Pancho to ensure he was stable, took the time to explain her exam and conclusions, and followed up the next day with his blood test results. My dog is feeling better, and I have peace of mind knowing that Pancho is in the best hands possible as he enters his twilight years.

Apparently this clinic can all of a sudden decide to ask you for pre-payment for appointments because you had the audacity to cancel a past appointment with a FULL week's notice. I understand all vet's time is valuable, but be prepared to suddenly be treated like an untrustworthy client. I've been bringing my pets here for 2 years, and I've made every single payment in full before we ever stepped out the clinic, but I'll be taking my business elsewhere as I suggest others do. I can understand the practice of pre-paying for expensive procedures, but to be asked to pre-pay for a routine appointment just because you've cancelled one past appointment when you've been a long-time client is such a disrespectful business practice that does nothing to retain clients.

We are so thankful for the team at City View Animal Hospital. In the midst of a pandemic we needed to switch clinics, which was a daunting thought. Not being able to go into the clinic and see how our cats were being handled - but talking to Dr. Penny Waite all of our concerns were lifted. She clearly knows her stuff and we feel totally confident in the care that our babies are getting. Our cats are our children and trust in a vet is one of the most important things to us - we are so thankful to have that with City View.

The best vets around, hands down. I'm from a small town out west, and moved here very recently and Dr. Penny was very informative and spoke to me in a manner I would understand. They went over every little detail, and identified issues my cat had, that my other vet did not see. Love, love, love this place and all the doctors and workers on board. They truly show a deep love for animals that does not go unnoticed.

This is a kick-ass team. We have known Dr Richards in particular for several years and she has the most extraordinary 'animal-side' manner - she loves and cares and knows her stuff or strategizes hard to get information in unusual situations. We have also been able to see the other vets from time to time and this really is a power team - well recommended.

Absolutely impressed and happy with this clinic. I brought my dog in because my regular vet clinic was completely booked till a week after and my dog was experiencing a loss of appetite, diarrhea, and overall lethargy. Upon arrival for our 3:30pm appointment, we were seen right away. Dr. Boileau was kind, patient, attentive, and everything one would want their vet to be. From the reception to the technician and to Dr. Boileau herself, I was clearly communicated to regarding what was happening during our visit. I was also very impressed with the follow up calls from the clinic regarding the health of my dog. I much appreciated the above and beyond efforts exercised by this team. Bravo!! I will definitely be switching over from my regular clinic to this one and recommending it to others. The clinic itself is also very clean, modern, and easy to find (plus ample number of parking spaces). You could tell everyone here cares about animals and the people.

I definitely have huge concerns about this hospital,I brought my dog in to see Dr Richards for anxiety and to show her a mass on my dog and she assured me the mass was not cancer. Since then it has grown 3 times in size. I called back to see if I could bring him in because she did tell me if anything changes to bring him back. I spoke to a very nice lady, who said she would get Dr.Richard's to call me back. I never did hear back, so after a weeks time, I called again when Jess (the manager) answered the phone, and she told me the doctor would not be calling me back, and there would be another charge for a follow up visit. I told her that I thought it was important that she did call me back, as I felt she misdiagnosed my dog, and didn't feel it was right to be charged a second time for something she's already seen. I'll have to take him elsewhere for a second opinion, and pray it hasn't spread. This place is very unsympathetic and are more concerned about money than the health of their patients.The customer service needs much improvement to say the least.

City View is by far the best animal hospital I've taken my cats to in the last 10 years, since I've had them. The team is super friendly and reliable. They've gone out of their way to accommodate me when I needed to change my appointment at the last minute due to travel and needed to get in to see them before I left. Prices are your basic prices you see within the industry, customer care is top notch (Nancy is the best) and Dr. Richards provides the most professional and patient care to my boys. Have been bringing my German shepard Dog Lyon ever since we moved. Amazing vet and amazing staff, they were able to spay her and get rid of her umbilical hernia at no extra cost. Every issue we have with our pup there on the ball and know exactly what the next step of action is. Lyon knows the staff there now and always greats them with tail wagging and lots of kisses.

One of the worst veterinarians I could ever go to. One of the worst things this place has is the organization. You can never talk to the veterinarian unless it is through a paid appointment. Even for minimal doubts. And it will always be through the receptionist who will prevent you from talking to a veterinarian by all means. They will treat your pet like a bag of money. They will try to sell you things that your pet or you do not really need hidden in false concern. Until your wallet bleeds. And after having left a fairly reasonable amount of money in the care of your pet, the attitude in general towards you and the treatment of your pet will become cold, distant and they will treat you as despicable as you could ever feel. My recommendation is that if you love your pet enough so that even the veterinarian wants to know about the health of your pet and treat it as if it were his, try to avoid this location, they will only treat you like a bag of money and your pet as a gold ingot. Regardless of nothing else.

We have been seeing Dr. Richards since the clinic opened. She and the team, are very professional and compassionate. Dr. Richards has always been clear in articulating her assessment of our Yorkie. We recently had the extremely difficult decision to euthanize our dog. She was very patient, professional and compassionate. She spent so much time helping us through the decision and ultimately the final moments. We can't recommend her enough - you won't find a better vet and clinic. Their fees are also very reasonable.

I have been going to Cityview for many years now, almost from when they opened. Every staff on their team is kind, empathetic, and genuine. I recommend this clinic to every pet owner that I know, even if they live on the other side of the city. When I thought that my cat needed an expensive surgery, the veterinarian walked me through the small steps leading up to it, instead of rushing to it. Turned out to be a minor allergy that didn't need the surgery after all. The cost for each appointment (and other needs) is amazing for what you recieve. Their honesty and care has made me a lifetime client at Cityview as long as I have pets!

I have had a wonderful experience with City View. My dog recently had a serious medical issue but did not have a regular vet. His old vet strongly recommended I go to City View for his care. When other clinics around the city refused his case (because of Covid-19 they had stopped taking new clients), this clinic not only took it on after hearing my situation, but went far and beyond the level of care I was hoping to access. They took great care of my dog and I truly felt they cared for his wellbeing (which means so much). I live downtown and will happily continue to come to Nepean to take my dog here :-).

I did the same thing, after having two incredibly awful experiences with different veterinary hospitals, I looked at Google reviews for hours trying to decide who go try next. The team at City View Animal Hospital are kind, empathetic and don't charge an arm and a leg to have your animal seen. I HIGHLY recommend this at your pet's go-to vet.

Dr Penny was an absolutely wonderful vet. Our first visit was scary for me but she took the time to acknowledge my fears. She did a full orthopedic exam of her doggy joints. Then we talked about Mika's weight. We developed a plan for better nutrition and reviewed possible issues that may arise if we don't. On the whole the staff were friendly and professional.
