First time visit went above and beyond my expectations. I was given a lengthy phone appointment that was thorough and not at all rushed. For all the Raw Feeders-I was prepared to defend my dogs diet and to my pleasant suprise this was met with no resistance ????. I additionally had an excellent, open conversation about vaccines and vaccine schedules that ended in me feeling heard and armed with great information! Overall it was a big sigh of relief to have open dialogue about topics that can sometimes otherwise be combative or outright shutdown. I am lastly, so thrilled about the Laparoscopic spayes, I think the extra cost is going to be 100% worth it. Great vet choice!

Taunton Road Animal Hospital and it’s team is everything you could ask for when looking for a vet for your animals, big and small alike. My dogs love our vet and the experience is never stressful. Professional, knowledgeable and affordable, Dr. Newhouse and her entire team are incredibly welcoming whether it is a routine check up or an emergency. I’ve used a number of vets over the years and this clinic is clean, not one to over charge or over test for no reason and very knowledgeable in a number of situations. Highly recommend, near or far, worth the trip for great care.

Dr Tracy is the best vet our family has ever known. She recently helped our sweet dog Finn pass away, and she was so empathetic and caring. We took our cat here after our regular vet told us there was nothing wrong with our cat.. the doctor at Taunton Road Animal Hospital took the time to take his blood and it turns out he was severely anemic and is now on the road to recovery. This is a great place to take the dog. My favourite vet was there for Atticus who was narrowly missed by a car. She said oh so he's a runner. He's. a rescue dog + just the sweetest dog ever. My Vet is Dr. Michelle. My dogs Malibu (Toy Poodle) and Maverick (Weimaraner) loves going to the Vet especially to see Dr. Michelle. Maverick is a big guy and can be very aggressive and protective, but in the hands of Dr. Michelle he is a big marshmallow. Dr. Michelle is caring and makes my guys feel safe, they trust her.

I have been with this facility now 7 years before they moved to this new building and its been the best services an animal can get. My old dog was a rescue and they made him healthy again. The vets there know what needs are in order and are very informational and always open to taking questions. I now have a 1.5 year old Siberian husky my pride and joy and she's healthy they always call to make appointments and when appointments are coming up making sure you are still Available. I drive almost 2 hours to take my dog here I live in Orillia and take her here for everything this is the place to go for anything pet related even for questions.

Dr. Mark has been absolutely amazing, highly recommend! My 9yr old girl Arwen has been a difficult case since I adopted her when she was 5yrs old, I recently moved out this way and was a little concerned since I now had to find a new vet. From a recommendation from my father in law I took her here and had an appointment with Dr. Mark who looked over her extremely large medical file. He recommended a dermatologist which I scheduled and saw recently. He has called me so far 3 times to follow up with how she is doing and has been great at answering any questions I have had. Arwen is doing so much better and her severe skin problems are almost completely cleared up! Very caring people here, who want the best for your animals!

The only Vets office our dog ever knew. We recently had to put her down at over 15 years old - the staff were fantastic. Compassionate, caring and respectful. They made a heartwrenching experience more bearable. My only issue over the last 15 years is that the costs raised when the new building was constructed. A little on the expensive side BUT top notch care.

This has been my vet since they have opened. I love all the staff here. They are so friendly and they invest so much time in every one of their patients. My vet is always following up with me and sending me emails whenever I need to bring one of my pups in. I can bring in my dogs to weigh them at anytime for free and they will give them a quick look over as well if needed.

I upgraded TRAH to five star because of the wonderful care given to my dog. The vet called the next day to check in and called again two days later to discuss test results. Dr. Tracey's staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Wonderful experience.

We have been taking our animals to Taunton Road Animal Hospital for a few years now, and have been repeatedly disappointed with the service we have been receiving. The staff are pushy and unprofessional when you don't want to buy specific products, services, surgeries, etc. This clinic's fees are much higher than other clinics. We have often felt manipulated or made to feel guilty for opting out of specific surgeries, products or services. Don't be fooled by the reviews. You will be happy for the first few months until you realize you are being overcharged and treated like just another number. This is why DRPS no longer uses their clinic for their K-9 service dogs. There are better clinics out there that will provide the same level of care with the appropriate fees.

Called them to make an appointment for my cat who has chronic diarrhea as I know they are allowing clients in (my cats condition gets worse if he is stressed and not being with me stresses him out). Excellent care for both my dogs , Cooper and willow. Staff are great friendly and their care for animals really shows. They always follow up the day after either dog has had a procedure. Tracey has gone out of her way to care for my dogs when they need it. I have been to this wonderful hospital twice. These people are amazing. This was my first own pet, and it was time..the Dr. and staff just amazing. They showed so much compassion. I called a couple days later and asked for Saucy Pants to be put on my pets urn. Tracy said ill see what I can do. Today, July 16 I went and picked up my cat, and Tracey made it happen. It is my wife who brought the dog In......that being said your clinic charged me $500 2 days later I went to another vet and and got the right meds and exam for the dog... I think this issue is the doctor is inexperience..

We wanted to thank the team here for their continued service with our pets. We had to unfortunately take one of our cats to another vet in early morning hours because he was vomiting and in distress. After 800 bucks they said he had mild kidney disease. Drugged him and sent us home with expensive food and supplements. We woke the next morning to find him dead next to our bed. We only wish we could of taken him to you. You have helped with our other pets. One we have was given maybe another 6 months with a possible cancer diagnosis. A year later he is still happy and purring. We did bring our fallen baby to you for his cremation. Thank you for helping us in this time of need. We really recommend this office.

We have taken all our animals here for about 15 years. The owner vets are spectacular, very knowledgeable, and will find an answer if they don't have one yet. They are honest and also respect your wishes for your pet. The vet techs are amazing. My cat will only respond best to one staff in particular, so they try to accommodate for his comfort. Everyone is amazing, and their new building is beautiful! I wish I worked there!

Dr. Phillips is the BEST vet we have ever had. I have two dogs, one is 17 years old, the other is 8. I have been to a number of veterinarians throughout their lives but I will never have to find another. Throughout all the doggie health issues we have had, big or small, Dr. Phillips has been there to see us through it. She calls personally to follow-up and is such a pleasure to deal with. Their clinic is beautiful and clean. On days when we must visit and Dr. Phillips is not available, one of the other doctors will see us and we have never had a poor experience with any of them. Why I use this facility... true story... a few years back my 14 year old dog unfortunately arrived at the end of his journey... I suspected a stroke but I am certainly not a doctor. I called my previous clinic explaining the situation... 1st I was informed they have no openings this particular Saturday. When I explained the seriousness of our situation and that I suspected euthenizing was imenent... I was told I could drop my best friend and they could facilitate this task after closing if I could leave him. In desperation I called Taunton Road... the reception asked me to hold momentarily... I was then invited to come by... no appointment for an evaluation. Sadly... the doctor informed me our instincts were accurate and the best option was as we feared. We were provided a private room and left as a family to say goodbye and grieve. Here is my point... Dr Mark Coleman's and his wife were 45 minutes drive out of town and returned mid- day to tend to our family in need. Never does he mention this to me... his administration team advised me of this much later on. What a display of compassion. I'm tearing up just reminiscing.

I am not one to write reviews but I have to say that doctor Tracy is the most amazing veterinarian that I have ever had. Tracy has taken care of all of my pets and I recently got a new one and wouldn't trust my dog with anyone other than Tracy. If you're looking for an amazing caring honest veterinarian for your pet I suggest dr. Tracy at Taunton Road Animal Hospital. Her love of animals and compassion for Animals is quite clear from the moment you meet her Tracy always calls and follows up with me when there is an issue with my pet or even just when he gets a shot I just can't say enough about how wonderful she is and how glad I am to have her take care of my precious fur baby

Another great visit to the Taunton Road Animal Clinic! We have a timid, nine year old dog that we rescued last year. The staff at the clinic always treat him with extra special care and attention anytime we go there, whether it's for medical reasons or for grooming. We had issues at other facilities prior to the Taunton Road Animal Clinic. I would recommend taking your animal here for any type of care!

This is the first Veterinary facility that has the upmost respect, compassion and care for the animals. Dr. Michelle Metrailler and the staff treated my dog Koda with love. Koda was mistreated at other clinics and had huge trust issues. Everyone at Taunton Road Animal Hospital was patient, understanding and supported an environment to meet Koda's needs. They also don't order or do unnecessary test and treatment plans and the services are fairly priced. I am extremely grateful for Dr. Michelle Metrailler and all the staff.

Took our dog here for the laparoscopic spay. All the vets and techs were incredibly nice and knowledgeable and so great with our dog. Great experience, would highly recommend this spay option to anyone, especially larger and more active breeds. This surgery is not as invasive as typical hysterectomy, very small incisions and no cone needed. Pup was back to her crazy self quickly. Even though we had to avoid running and swimming for a couple weeks she was ready to go after a couple days (which was tough to make her understand she needed to take it easy!). Overall nice facility and great experience, if it was closer to home I would definitely switch to this vet office!
