Having worked at this amazing clinic I can personally attest to the outstanding compassion that the team has towards all animals. This clinic will make follow up calls to check in on your pet after their visit and Dr. Pathman often comes out to talk to clients to see how their pets are doing, not many clinics do this. Amazing prices for services, outstanding customer service and amazing standard of care. If I still lived in Oshawa my pets would still be going to this clinic.

I took my healthy 7 month old kitten to be spayed and a week later she passed away due to a respiratory infection. The vets said the 2 were not related but I find that hard to believe and will not be recommending this vet to anyone. Proceed with caution if this is your vet.

We have been coming here since it opened and the caring dr. is a large part of that. He gets ON THE FLOOR to see the dogs and to greet them. We have a rescue who is afraid to be alone and they are so good with her. They even let me stay during exams with COVID. We have brought our cats too and they are very good with OVER communicating how your animals are when they have to stay overnight (spaying etc). They follow up on all items they say they will. Highly recommend.

We’re very eager on the phone to help. From the start the girl at the front desk who had originally answered my online request called me and was super polite. She was super patient with me and thorough in explaining what procedures would be done and she gave me a ballpark of the cost. They didn’t try to force product, AT ALL. I initially gravitated toward this vet because of all the good reviews and it proved true! Also surprised me how much knowledge everyone in the office had on bengals. The doctor was super friendly and playful with Sofi and her overall experience wasn’t terrible.. We now have a happy healthy kitten who’s up to date on her shots and who has clean ears !

We sadly had to put down our dog a couple weeks ago and Harmony Road Animal Hospital made us feel so welcomed and all staff were extremely empathetic during an extremely tough time. They had a candle set, on our way out which gave us some peace knowing our girl was in good hands. Today we received a sympathy card in the mail signed by all of the staff that was present that day. We strongly recommend going here. Amazing staff. We cannot thank them enough for helping us through a difficult time.

We were recommended to this vet for an emergency with our cat when our regular vet couldn't fit us in. Our cat had a urethral blockage and multiple stones in his bladder. Dr. Pathman was very empathetic and kind when explaining to us the risks of putting our cat under to try and dislodge the blockage. When the process didn't work, and we realized we couldn't afford to do the invasive surgery to do the removal, Dr. Pathman and his staff were very gentle with us while we processed the possibility of having to put our cat down. He went above and beyond to save our cat, monitoring him for about 2 weeks. He manually expressed his bladder around the blockage to make sure there was no possibility of rupture or buildup of toxins, while giving him the urinary care diet and hoping that would dissolve his stones in time. I can't say enough good things about this vet. My cat is alive, and I owe that to Dr. Pathman and his team.

Great vet! I first came to him when my dog was sick after being unsatisfied with my previous vet. The Dr. did not try and charge me an arm and a leg for my sick animal (as most vets do), and his approach to treating her worked, without wanting to run lots of costly tests. I took my cat who is 11 in for blood test no one said anything about urinalysis being done. I ask questions I get no response for. Lack of communication between everyone there. I asked to check out anal glands since she was there and had sedative but nothing was done now I have to bring her in again.

This vet is AMAZING!! I started using them with my 2 new kittens. After seeing the amazing care they gave them, I transferred my dog to their care as well as I was highly disappointed with the care my previous vet was giving my dog. They took my dog in immediately and gave me WAY more information for her then I received in 3 years at the other place!!! Keep up the great work guys! I will recommend you to everyone I know. We spent weeks shopping around for the best vet for our soon to be fur baby. After weeks of searching, within 10 seconds of entering Harmony Road Animal Hospital, we knew this was the one! Brittany took the time to explain why the prices are what they are, what options we had for vaccines, and additional vaccines they recommended based on the lifestyle Dallas would live... yes, she asked us questions to better understand where and how Dallas would be spending his time and we weren’t even their customers at that time. While Brittany was helping us out, Dr Pathman heard our voice and popped his head out just to greet us (where else can you go where the doctor is humble enough to greet people?!) even with a small puppy in his arms. Then, at 17 weeks old, Dallas decided he was going to eat some silicone treat moulds and landed himself an emergency trip to see Dr Pathman at Harmony Road Animal Hospital which was a true test of their abilities and care. Dr Pathman tried everything non-surgical that he could to get the silicone out but unfortunately, Dallas required emergency surgery and needed to be cut open. Words cannot describe all the emotions that ran through our minds and bodies but we are forever grateful for the amazing care from Dr Pathman, Brittany, and Erica not only for Dallas, but for us as well. They all cared for the humans and checked in to make sure WE were okay too just as much as they did for Dallas. After one of the scariest times of owning a fur baby, these heroes ensured he came home safely with world class treatment and compassion! I will NEVER step foot in another veterinarian office. Dr Pathman and Harmony Road Animal Hospital staff saved my dogs life and even now that Dallas is all healed and back to his usual energetic playful self - we still get phone calls to see how he’s doing and to remind us of simple things like flea and tick prevention. Dallas (even after everything he has gone through) still wags his tail and gets so excited when walking into see Dr Pathman - and that on its own should be enough for you to take your fur babies to meet Dr Pathman and staff! Thank you again, for all that you do!! ❤️❤️❤️

A.M.A.Z.I.N.G !! They are over and beyond great , what made me try them was that i searched pet hospitals and found this one which what caught my eye was that. First time customer gets 50% off. And it is very well true. Not only that but they are really great with your animals and they listen which is so important. I feel comfortable. I have 3 kitties so when my 2nd fur friend got sick i couldnt use the 50% i wasnt a new customer. But what got my attention was that they acctuly have good prices my fur friend has to get a surgery and the price is very much less then what i thought it would. I have posred a pixture of the cost to show. That you do get more then what you pay for . compared to most vets this is great !! And iv never heard a single horror story from this vet. ( i have a friend who works for a vet i do ask her lots of questions so my answers are correct :)

I met Dr Pathman while he was a vet in Dresden. During his years in practise here, he dealt with a number of serious illnesses involving my dog and cats. As an RN I respected his diagnostic and surgical skills, the plans of care he developed for treatment, the completeness and clearness of his health teaching, and his compassion for my pets and myself when no more could be done. He is a natural as a vet. I was sorry to see him leave and wish him much success in his own practise in Oshawa. His clients there are lucky to have him.

i took my dog to this vet and the main veterinarian punctured two of his anal glands along with leaving blood shed all over the floor of his building because he cut the nails too short on 3 of my dogs paws. later my brother unknowingly walked in a few days later and the man punctured his dogs glands as well. terrible place unless they have learned from mistakes that cost me tons of money in vet bills and my dogs agony that they are still going through till this day until properly healed. the man did not even own up and offer to fix the problems instead he wrote me a letter saying not to enter his store because of course i was furious at the man. if you are going to damage a being and leave it too suffer why are you a vet at all? by the way this is my moms account and all of this is true my name is anthony james ballinger and if there was a rating 10 too 1 from happy with or saddened i just hope there is no minus for my dogs seeing as they may need to be put down. i am saddened that i have to even click one star to post this comment.

I chose Harmony Road vet as my new vet 8 months ago. From very first visit they are so amazing with my pets. My senior dog is quite nervous to meet new people. Do not go here. I transferred here from another vet because it was closer to my home. After my first visit with my puppy I got the feeling that all they were doing was trying to upsell me. Also, I was not even allowed past the front entrance. I realize that is due to COVID but at my other vet I was allowed in with my puppy. The front staff weren’t very friendly at all. The vet came out and spoke with me briefly but was not overly friendly.When I tried to get my puppies records transferred back to my original vet they were very resistant. They even went so far as to badger them with questions as to why I was transferring back and told them I needed to call to give permission. When I called they replied they will send records “WHEN THEY CAN” It took them about two weeks! I was also told that I am not the first client to experience this issue. All I can say is I am glad I did not bring my puppy back there!

New to the area I am looking for a vet to pick up food for my cats to avoid an hour commute to my old vet. First time I called here there was no answer. Next time I called I ordered the food to be picked up. I went in a couple days later. I was told to wait outside because they were waiting for someone to bring in thier cat. I patiently waited not realizing the person they were waiting on was the person in the parking lot beside me who was there well before I got there. Shortly after I was told to come in since the person was unable to get thier cat out of their car. I went in and paid and rushed out to go help the guy with his cat. He had been there for a while with his 3 kids and wife trying to get his scared cat out from under the car seat. I offered help and got the cat out easily but the poor cat was terrified. Why did the staff not even bother to help this person at the very least to save the poor cat all that stress??? I wasn't impressed with the lack of care and empathy I had seen just in one visit to pick up food for my cats!!! I went home and realized the supplements I purchased were TWICE the price $83 than what I pay at my regular vet. When I called to find out if there was a mistake the girl said well every vet has their own pricing!!! WOW! AND she said it was massive attitude! I will never go here again. Over priced and they don't care about the people or most importantly about the animals they treat!

My tiny morkie needed spaying and, after a lot of research, I took her here. She was treated with care and compassion and the incision was done beautifully - clean and dry and hardly visible. A very skilled job. This is my vet going forward for sure. Update Oct 2019:. Murphy picked up a gastro infection somehow and was very sick with diarrhea and dehydration. Dr. Pathman took her in for 10 hrs of iv fluids and anti-biotics with follow up drugs for the next few days. Murphy is now right as rain again thank heavens. Everyone there is very caring and supportive. I was very impressed when he told us that an x-ray wasn't necessary - I would have paid for it without hesitation but no gouging by him. Professional. Highly recommended.
