Very friendly and welcoming staff :) They have always treated my cat and me well when we visit.
My dog of 12 years lost his hind end and started whimpering in pain. It was time to end his suffering however this clinic would not put him down because he was not a client. Shame on you.
Great caring staff and Vet
Very professional and friendly staff.
They really care about our dogs, and we love them for it!
Exceptional experience here! Our technician Jenn was super awesome with our Charlie (part terrier so of course she wanted to bark at everything!) But charlie was calm most of the visit and was spoiled! The vet was very informative and explained everything in terms we understood. Our dog was taken care of and not once did we feel like we were being talked down to: just advice on how to keep our dog as healthy as we can :) completely recommend.
Our pets have all experienced affection and trust from Dr. Joanne Olinyk. "B", Brutus, Spike, Chloe, Momsy, Spunky, Little One and Rosie.
The most ignorant people I have ever seen, I would give a zero star if I could. Don't bring your pets here if you love them
I wouldn't know ! I've never been to colborne Street pet hospital or anywhere in the area. Thanks for the review suggestion Google :s
Saved my puppy thanks guys
Excellent services for my dog Lucas. A caring, professional staff.
Been clients of CSPH for many years. We trust them with our fur baby's!
The staff has always been friendly, knowledgable, and flexible whenever we need to treat one of our pets or just have any questions.
Very good, honest, caring and genuine people working here. I'm very happy to have chosen them to care for my dogs.
Both the vets that work at this practice are excellent. They are so incredibly thorough that they answer all your questions before you even ask them. I also think the prices are more reasonable than the last vet we were at.
Super friendly, helpful, compassionate. I called for help, I didnt even request a paid service and they cheerfully helped anyway. I found a dog on highway 12 this past Wednesday. It had almost been hit trying to cross and fortunately I was able to snatch her up. After that, I didnt really know what to do since the dog had no tags/collar. I called here and the gentleman running the phones reminded me of microchips! Excellent. They helped me to get the chip scanned and less than an hour after finding the dog I was able to reunite her with her guardian. Wouldn't have been so easy without Colbourne Street Pet Hospital. Thanks.
Great service and friendly staff and vet.
Dr. Olinyk and Dr. Broadhurst have been looking after our pets since we moved to Orillia 4 years ago. Our cat has a hard time with vet appointments and the staff have always been incredibly patient and gentle with him to help him slowly feel more comfortable with each appointment. Our dogs love coming to vet appointments because they get so much love and attention — it’s one of their favourite places to be! (Which makes everything easier).
I have no complaints at all about the service I get at this clinic, my dogs are both very healthy and happy thanks to the care they get from the staff here. Keep up the great work!!!!!
Don't have high hopes for this place. Called to get some info, about my cat who has Lyme disease, she put me on hold for a min or two, came back laughing and said "Cats can't get Lyme disease" Maybe you should try another vet" Then refereed me to the Huronia veterinary emergency clinic. They need to learn cats can get Lyme disease, I was taken back that a vet clinic didn't know that. **UPDATE** So, this clinic has replied to what I wrote. Instead of apologizing to me, for being laughed at by their staff. They continue to correct me! Great customer service! I now drop my stars down to 2! I do not recommend this place to anyone!
They show care, taking care of my dog's problem. Just stressful when has a serious issue. They show care an consideration when faced with a difficult illness.
As many other comments have said, the reception team is rude and uncaring.
Have had two family cats in their care and they are amazing.
Have brought both my service dogs to Dr. Jo. Excellent vet and wonderful staff.
Colborne Street Pet Hospital has been caring for our animals for over fifteen years. Dr. Jo has always treated our furry friends and us with the best mixture of compassion and expertise. Whether it has been regular examinations, or having to say goodbye to our 19 year old kitties, Dr. Jo and the rest of the staff there always make us happy we found them.
Staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and wonderful with our scaredy-cats. I love that both Dr O and Dr B give great advice on making sure our home is a good environment for cats and take a behavioral approach to issues. I feel involved in my cats' course of care rather than just instructed and I never feel talked down to here. Definitely will continue to go here!
Wouldn't go anywhere else!
We brought in our 6 month old Shihpoo for her first vet visit. The staff were all kind and friendly with Tabby and myself. Due to the fact Tabby was a rescue from Lost Boys Hope and didn’t have a loving family till she was 6 months old we needed special info. I was informed about food ( less than I was giving ) dental care and house training ( not letting her rely on pee pads ) Our whole family look forward to a long partnership with Colborne Street Pet Hospital. Thank you Tabby and her people.
They treated my dog like a queen highly recommended
They were so compassionate and caring when my dog was sick
Excellent Veterinarian and helpful, caring staff !
As always the staff and Joanne were great. Fourteen years and we trust them with Halle!
We have been clients of yours for years with 3 different pets of ours. We buy our food through you and today when we called to come and get more, you have stated that you WILL NOT SELL food to us because "we aren't clients" of yours??? Our Cat is now dealing with a blockage because of your complete disregard and refusal to sell the food that YOU SUGGESTED..... I will be taking this further with other outlets. You did the same thing with our DOG. Disgraceful!!!
staff cares,, very informative and helpful.
Brought my fur babies there for a long time. Stopped bringing my cat because she was indoor and didn’t need her yearly check ins. Loved the owners, very good with both my cat and dog. However the receptions answering the phone are very rude. Called upset about my sick cat, very rude. Because I stopped bring her she was no longer a patient. Instead of direct me while upset on the phone she was short and uncaring. Not helpful at all. Disappointed. Won’t return.
Great Staff, caring people.
Joanne the Vet has helped my toy poodle and I from when she was 8 weeks old until just a couple of weeks ago, when My Isabella passed away at 8 years old. For all of her life Isabella suffered from a severe heart murmur. The wonderful thing was - she didn't know it! Each day of her life was a gift and a surprise at each milestone she lived to. Colborne Street Veterinary Clinic has been wonderful to us both. The Clinic has great staff! Caring, compassionate, professional, thoughtful and kind. Joanne was honest from day one about Isabella's condition which had been noted on her first visit to the clinic. I was given good information, support and advice on how best to care for Isabella over the 8 years of her life. After her condition worsened Isabella was prescribed two medications that she would need to take for the rest of her life. They were very expensive but I was committed to doing the best I could for her. I was so surprised one day when I received a call from the clinic. They had some medications that Isabella was taking that the clinic was able to give to Isabella at no cost! Someone's pet had passed away and its owners had kindly returned the medications so they could help someone else's pet. Over a couple of years I received 3 calls from the clinic to donate medications. Each time I was so grateful that they had thought of Isabella for the medication but I also felt sadness for those whose dog had passed away. I really appreciated the help in decreasing our monthly medication costs but I empathized with those whose pet had died and said I would bring in any meds I had left when my Isabella died. There are not many left but I intend to move it forward. I would recommend Joanne and her team any day, any time! Thank you for all you do to help others❣️
They are very caring people. The veterinarian is very knowledgeable and explains in laymen's terms.
Nothing but good things to say. We came from out of town to see if Dr Olinyk could find out what was going on with my cat. I had some bad experiences elsewhere because of my cats temperament. Dr Olinyk took us in and treated us and our cat with compassion, helped make the vet experience as pleasant as possible for our cat. We ended up going with surgery to correct his issue. The whole experience was clearly laid out for us and we were guided through his recovery. Excellent Pet Hospital.
My cat always comes back relaxed and happy after visits :)
We have been clients at Colborne Street Pet Hospital for 10 years, since we first became proud pup parents,... We have always received excellent care for our dogs. One of our dogs recently required a small surgery, and we were quite concerned; however, once again we received excellent care, and our dog came out with flying colors !!! Thanks you so much Dr. Olinyk and staff,... We are very very grateful for your care and professionalism.
This clinic refused to see my puppies claiming they don’t service breeders. I was treated with rudeness and completely uncalled for arrogance. I am not a breeder my female happened to get pregnant before I had a chance to fix her. Nonetheless this clinic thinks that having puppies is a bad thing do they forget that if no puppies were born they run out of business. I am shocked and will never return again. To refuse to see or treat an animal goes against all the ethical code Of a vet. Shame on you.
Friendly. Helpful. Kind.
This is a fantastic veterinary clinic. Dr Joanne is super knowledgable, very friendly and loves the animals. Staff are very friendly and helpful.
Horrible attitude towards people and animals. My pet hates going there, but I had to bring her due to covid. If you don’t like animals, don’t work with them. Do not recommend.
I think my dog sprained her ankle so I called this place thinking i'd be able to bring her in (being called Colborne Street Pet Hospital) but I was told they would not see her because she is not a regular patient and gave me no referral.
The staff are excellent very caring
They listen to you.
I have always taken my animals here because the care for animals is more important than $ this team!
My daughter's dog, Emma, was going through a lot of pain and discomfort, so we took her to see Dr Joanne. We tried everything and couldn't figure out was going on with her. Dr Jo did not give up to find out what was going on. She was able to find a solution and we can't thank her enough!! All the girls in the office were fantastic and caring. I thank them as well!! ????
Very compassionate staff
