Caring Vets and staff who truly enjoy what they do. Clean facility. Was able to get same day appointment for sick puppy. My puppy was prescribed medication and started to improve quickly. It was nice to receive a follow up phone call the next day to see how my lil puppy was doing.

Ended up calling about a month in advance of getting my puppy. The administration was very helpful with setting up my second round of shots / first puppy check up. Setting up vet records flexible schedule etc. Dr. Sophie Bilé was very knowledgeable, kind, and caring of my dog. She has a good energy in regards to connecting with animals. Took her time and explained all the vaccines, caring, and food routine of my puppy. He also barely noticed when she gave him his shots/ used her stethoscope to check his heart and lungs. Happy dog happy owner. Pricing is very good too, considering all the care they put in, I feel comfortable paying the price for my dog to have quality care. Would recommend this vet clinic to anyone who wants a good staff, clean clinic, and knowledgeable veterinarian to treat their pets.

This is a lovely veterinary office. All of the staff are knowledgeable, friendly, organized, professional and caring. It’s a lovely, clean space. They do little extra things like call and email to check on my dog, and sometimes offer suggestions and advice (within reason) over email which is most appreciated. Caring for a pet is expensive, so it’s important to feel like you’re in good hands! I would highly recommend sixteen mile veterinary clinic.

I took my kitty for a annual check-up yesterday. This is our first time visit this clinic. Dr. Bile is very good and professional. She is very detailed and throughout examined my cat. She answered all the questions that I asked her and not trying to rush to finish the visit.

My cat has had diarrhea for over a month and we took him to doctor Honda and she suggested that it could be an issue with the new diet hes been on. after switching to a diet the doc recommended, the diarrhea stopped immediately and everything went back to normal. During our initial visit, Dr. Honda listed out all possibilities that could have caused it and was very patient in explaining the approach we should take, and at the end, our cat is healthy again. THe staff has been caring as well by following up with us daily after our initial visit. so keep up the great work and I would definitely recommend this place

They are the most honest, caring, loving veterinary clinic in Oakville by far! Wendy and her staff are so kind and friendly and honestly care about the well being of your pet(s) and the well being of the customer too! They have always gone above and beyond all expectations when I have brought either of my dogs to them. A Gross Improvement

My Cavapoo has been a patient here since I brought her home from the breeder. We often stop in during our walks and get a treat and chat with the friendly and knowledgeable staff. It's very convenient for us as we can walk for our appointments and get her groomed there as well. Charlotte is always excited to greet everyone and get her treat.

I started coming here after my last vet made a medication related blunder, which prompted me to seek a second opinion in an ongoing health problem my 11-year old Maltese has. Immediately I can notice the difference in the attention to detail during as well as after the consultation. Doctor Wendy Webster spent a long time just getting details on my dog Machi’s recent behavior and medical history, just to make the most informed diagnosis. After Machi’s ultrasound result came back, Doctor Webster spent almost half an hour on the phone with me, after hours and uncharged, just to discuss the results and plan next steps. Their invoiced prices of similar items might be higher than my old vet but it was completely worth it. While the treatment/diagnosis is still ongoing, I have confidence that this clinic can provide Machi the best chance at recovery and/or management.

Very upfront with the costs and no add-on or hidden fees for their services (as I've unfortunately experienced at another vet). Dr.Gibbs in particular is amazing - so knowledgable, patient, and empathetic, and clearly cares about the animals.

I brought my dog Finn in yesterday, on what had to be a very bad day for him. He cut his leg open wide while on a hike and the staff here was so amazing. From the second I got close to the door carrying him, the front desk girl ran over to open the door and help. Every step of the way they were calm with him and very informative for me. I felt my precious boy was in the best hands possible and he was at ease to(he has never been calm in a vet before). They took amazing care of him and even set follow up appointments to check in. Initially, I rated this clinic as 5 stars, but unfortunately, I had mixed experience in later visits. Starting with pros: very responsive and always accommodate my puppy whenever needed. Staff is friendly. Tracey and Jackie are the best, most kind staff in this clinic (hence the 3 stars). Cons: 1. unclear communication. I had my puppy during COVID, I stated very clearly that he is my first puppy and I have no experience with vet. I asked if there is a puppy package or if there is any set of exams and cost that I should expect. They stated there have no packages. I was surprised that when my puppy was scheduled for his 3rd booster, they charged me a full exam + vaccine. I don't believe the doctor did full exam, she just sat on the floor trying to lure the puppy to her, and then carried the puppy on the table, asked if I have any questions, got the vaccine and out of exam room! I wasn't aware there is an exam as I would at least set my expectations right and ask all questions. Doctor didn't exam his teeth, glands, etc... 2. They prescribe medication without any education / consulting with pet owner. They gave me pills and my puppy doesn't take them, there is a liquid form (I came to know through my puppy breeder), when I requested returning pills and get liquid, they refused to return it and they wanted to charge me again for liquid! Same thing happened with tick treatment, they prescribed a pill, and I wanted revolution, and they refused to return it. Overall, it's an average clinic, you need to be very clear and precise and don't schedule / pay until you make sure what you are getting.

We first heard of this clinic when seeing advertisements for their open house. We were in the process of looking to adopt. They welcomed us with open arms and were willing to help us find our "fur baby". We found all the staff who were present happy, informative and able to assist with all our questions about the clinic. I like that there is an x-ray and operation room within the facility. We adopted our dog in September and have been in three times. Each time the staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Being a first time dog owner, I feel comfortable making an appointment and knowing that all my questions and concerns will be addressed. Dr Gibbs is very thorough and gives recommendations regarding treatment, tests and medications. She takes her time to asses our dog, even get right on the floor to make her comfortable with the examination. Very patient and keeps a look out for any negative ques from Emma who is very scared and uncomfortable with new people and surroundings. I love that they call and follow up to see how she is doing after every visit. Highly recommended.

My dog has been having occasional seizures and when I notified the clinic they called and emailed me to see how he was doing! Did not get this kind of concern from old vet. I never get a clinical feel from any of the staff and they genuinely care for my dog. If you want a vet who makes your fur baby feel like family then this is the place to bring them!!!

Sixteen Mile Veterinary Clinic is the best vet we have gone to BY FAR. The entire staff of Kerri, Em, Dr. Sophie Bile, and many others are all super caring, attentive, responsive and have the biggest hearts and our 8 month old cockapoo Bowzer absolutely loves going there and seeing everyone! They greet him with such love and care that sometimes it feels like he doesn't want to leave them! We have spoken to many family and friends who all have pets and they have given us so many horror stories about their vets overcharging, price gouging, not being caring, not looking after their pets and overall having a distrust for their vet. This is far from the case with these guys! If you have a pet and are looking for a vet, there is no need to look any further! Not only is his care during the appointments on point, but also afterwards, they email and call and check in on us and our little Bowzer to make sure hes doing ok, that he took his meds fine, and that he is feeling all better. Thanks staff for the great work!

Amazing vet and staff! My cat had an emergency and they rearranged their schedule to fit us in. The receptionist was super kind and everyone I interacted with clearly loved animals. The vet (Dr Webster) took the time to explain everything to me and came up with a solid plan to help my boy. Finally, after years of visiting other vets, someone finally cared enough to look deep and figure out the actual cause of his issues rather than just randomly treating him. Another thing I noticed was that they did little things to make their pet clients comfortable. The cold metal exam table had a soft baby blanket on it and the weigh scale for small animals also had a blanket on it. They sprayed pheromones in the room prior to us entering so that he would be calmer. We will be making Dr Webster our regular vet and will be recommending this clinic to anyone looking for a vet in the Oakville area.
