My dog is a rescue who tends to be quite fearful and cautious of new individuals. He has always had a hard time with vet visits. He would shake or hide into me and was previously muzzled at my old vet clinic as a precaution. Dr. Mac has made vet visits fun and reassuring. He gets along so well with her dog and bringing her into the room relaxes him even more. Dr. Mac is patient, gentle and very considerate of his nervous behaviour. He’s never been muzzled and even got his nails clipped without any nervous reaction! She always answers my questions and informs me on the best choices to make concerning his health.

My Netherland Dwarf bunny, Norman, was neutered yesterday and I am extremely happy and relieved to say he is doing well just after one night! Dr. Mac and her team were more than thorough and very empathetic to my needs as a "mom" to a small creature who potentially has higher risks during this type of surgery. I knew I was in good hands when I dropped Norman off in the morning, and when Dr Mac called me a couple hours after to let me know everything had gone well. She even took pictures and videos of Norman when he woke up from the surgery while she fed him the treats that I had prepared for him. It's very obvious that Dr. Mac loves what she does and it really rubs off on everyone who walks in that door. Needless to say, I highly recommend anyone who has any pet, but especially rabbits, to come see Dr. Mac. A little goes a long way , something that is not easy to find these days. I took my dog here for the first time recently because I was interested in their dermatology specialization and can definitely say we both received 5 star service! Due to the COVID-19 situation I had to send her in by herself (which should have been difficult because she's extremely scared of strangers) but Jen made her feel comfortable going in with her within a few minutes of meeting. I was informed through the phone about her situation and the care she needed, and Dr.Mac gave me all the info I needed to leave feeling satisfied and hopeful she would soon be better! Needless to say, they are our primary vet from now on! Definitely worthy of the 5 stars.

My dog is usually quite nervous when at the vet and it can sometimes be challenging to treat/assess him. Dr. Mac was able to keep him calm and comfortable enough to give him a needle (something that has been difficult in the past). She was very compassionate and understood my concerns. I brought both of my pets to Mac animal clinic and they immediately were calm and happy. My cat LOVED the scents in the cat room and it helped her really calm down and manage her anxiety. My pup loved that there are pet bed options and no scary silver tables! The monthly plans they have available to purchase really helps save me money over the long run. Both my pets and my husband and kids are so happy we switched to Mac animal clinic. Highly recommend.

We came to Doctor Mac after a friend suggested we go because at our other vet we weren't getting answers to our dog Lucy's skin issues. Right from the start Doctor Mac and her team showed compassion and caring for our dog as well as us. She took the time to explain the conditions, treatments and expected outcomes. Lucy has improved dramatically over the past month. We also brought our cat in for her 1 year vaccines and discovered she had a gum infection. Doctor Mac knew what to do and Sydney is doing better. She was quite relaxed as well during the visit and didn't protest very much. Doctor Mac and team helped to make Sydney as comfortable as can be. It especially helped that she was in a cat only room. I love the idea of separate dog and cat rooms. It helps to settle them more. I honestly feel like it's almost like a spa when you walk into the clinic. I hope my animals felt the same. They seemed a lot less anxious. Best vet I've had so far.

CY is a fantastic smart Vet who loves animals and takes great pride in giving them the best care possible. She was there and taking care of Roxy within twenty minutes when she got into a fight with a beaver and needed over 50 stitches for multiple bites. She had her patched up and back in action within a few weeks. her initial care was composed and outstanding and her thorough and caring follow ups were equally as impressive. I have two dogs, one is getting older, so switching vets was a bit stressful. My previous location wasn’t working for me anymore so on a recommendation I called Mac Vets. I could tell a difference right away with just a phone call. It wasn’t rushed, they asked me all the right questions and they weren’t condescending if I didn’t have the answers. They booked me for both dogs within a few days and even with Covid protocol they still made the experience more personal and compassionate. Dr Mac called me within minutes of my dogs going in and (I can’t stress this enough) did not rush through the exam or the phone call. She was thorough, articulate, friendly, and professional. The rest of the staff is helpful and welcoming. It’s seems like this would be a expected but it was very refreshing. I look forward to the restrictions lifting and being able to visit inside. A big thanks to them for making my pups transition to a new clinic go very smoothly.

Dr. Mac is amazing! She is by far the most wonderful veterinarian I've had the pleasure of bringing my pet to. When you walk in to the clinic, there are diffusers with canine and feline specific pheromones to relax the animals and help to make is a fear-free experience. Upon entering the examination room, the area is set up for your pet to pick either the table or a bed on the floor to have the examination on. I brought my dog to see Dr. Mac as she had been having skin issues - specifically her ears would continually swell up, she was having eye infections, and she was itching. When other vets had prescribed just steroids and a round of antibiotics, Dr. Mac went above and beyond to figure out what was wrong with her - even consulting other vets about her skin issues. She followed up by phone and email to check in and see how treatments were going and was extremely involved in her care. The whole team at Mac Animal Clinic is extraordinary and TRULY care about the animals. The amount of patience and love extended by staff is unparalleled by any experience I've had at other clinics. Even their involvement with local rescues shows just how much the animals are at the center of their focus when it comes to care. I would recommend anyone bring their animal to this clinic for care.

Our husky Nuka is a highly nervous dog, so trips to the vet have always been a huge ordeal. After having a horrible experience at another vet clinic we decided to try out Mac Animal Clinic and we were not disappointed! Dr. Mac and Jenn were so kind and patient with our dog. I can't recommend MAC Animal Clinic enough! My puppy Leo absolutely LOVES it there and gets so excited anytime we say we are going to see Dr. Mac. Sometimes he tries to go back into the office after his appointments and I have to use treats to get him back into the car. It was so important to me to find a vet clinic I trusted, especially with Leo being my first puppy and not being able to go into the office with him due to COVID. I truly feel like everyone there treats him as if he is their own dog. Leo is a Lab and sometimes eats things he shouldn't -every time I've called they have been able to give me advice over the phone and ease my worries. We never feel as though we are being charged for anything that isn't necessary (like some offices). If you are looking for a Vet, I highly recommend!

Doctor Mac is the most wonderful vet I have ever had the pleasure of working with!!! We have a pair of bonded bunnies; we got the male first and had him neutered at a different vet where they overcharged us for every procedure and purposely kept him overnight to bill us an extra $100. When we brought home our female bunny I did a ton of research and found MAC Animal Clinic. Upon meeting Dr Mac and she was one of the kindest, most gentle people and veterinarians i have EVER met <3 She explained the entire spaying procedure to me and said that since the bunnies are bonded it is not a good idea to separate them so she allowed us to bring both in for the procedure, where our male bunny waited for his gf to have surgery and was right there to comfort her after. She also explained that because bunnies are so sensitive they should be sent home as soon as they're feeling well enough to go after surgery, NOT kept overnight (unlike our previous vet who kept our boy overnight just to get more money). Dr Mac and her team kept me updated on her condition throughout the day, sent us home with all of the necessary instructions and pre-measured medications and were available to answer my follow up questions the next day. Our baby girl was back to her old self within 2 days post-surgery and I cannot express how GRATEFUL I am to Dr Mac and her team for the special care and extra love they showed our little bunny couple =) THANK YOU DR MAC WE LOVE YOU <3 <3 <3

My cats (Jasper and Wild; 5 years old) have always had severe anxiety when it comes to vet visits and car rides. November 2020 was our first time going to Mac Animal Clinic and I could not be more happy with how our first visit went! Jasper and Wild were stressed the entire ride to the vet but thanks to being separated from dogs and other animals, along with being in a room sprayed with catnip and calming pheromones, I can honestly say that I have never seen my cats this calm outside of our home! The entire car ride home my babies were calm and happy. It’s as if their anxiety over vet visits and car rides has completely disappeared!
