I went to 2 different vets before I found Cornwall animal hospital. I noticed a huge difference, with Dr. Kutlehria at Cornwall he was very precise, took his time examining Phoebe and did not try to over charge me like most places. She had to have an open pyometra surgery and the staff there are so awesome and caring!! The surgery went well:) I really recommend this vet for anyone that is looking for a proper and intelligent doctor. They are the best;)

Unfortunately we had our Cat put down due to an aggressive form of Melanoma . Over a month of treatment prior to the eventual prognosis what really impressed me was the overwhelming sincere compassion Dr P exhibited. Absolutely amazing I am such a dog lover and let me tell you when my puppy was sick and when I was panicking for no reason I always called the doctor and he always picked up and helped me. Never once did he make me feel like I'm over exaggerating or that I'm annoying him. He always took his time and helped my puppy get better. You can count on him 24/7!!! He has a very good heart and knows exactly what he's doing which you can easily tell by seeing your pet getting better already the next day. He spayed my puppy and did an amazing job. No swelling, bleeding, infections, etc. It was perfectly done and they even call you everyday for three days to see how your pet is doing. I live in Mississauga and there's a lot of vets here but let me tell you if this doctor was up North I would still always drive to him, because the prices the job and the way he does things, no doctor can beat. I want to thank Dr. Kutlehria And the Staff at Cornwall Animal Hospital for the Great care they provided to our cat Mini. When our 17 years old cat got sick with a very bad mouth infection, we research online for a good hospital with reasonable fees. We have been very fortunate to decide for Cornwall Animal Hospital. Not only that Dr. Kutlehria proved to be an excellent practitioner who diagnosed and prescribed the right treatment for our beloved pet, but we were particularly impressed by the kind attitude and compassion for both our cat and family. Soon after the infection was contained, a big tumour started to grow under her tong and the recovery after the surgery was very complicated and long. It was the high competence, dedication and the incredible moral and financial support of Dr. Kutlehria which helped us to provide the proper care for poor cat. Cannot thank enough. Highly recommended. Five stars all the way.

When my 5 year old Tabby cat came home with a nasty cut under her front leg the first thought that crossed my mind was that she needed stitches, it was completely showing her flesh under the thick layer of skin! I took her to the veterinarian that she had previously been to only to find out that they couldn't do the stitches right then and there and surgery would have to be scheduled (they didn't want food to be in her stomach). My husband not wanting to pay what they wanted for the surgery, did a Google search for inexpensive vet and found Cornwall Animal Hospital and am I glad he did!!! The level of care from the ladies at reception to the doctor were second to none. You know when someone is in the business of doing what they love when you get this kind of care and treatment. The price was much more acceptable (1/2 the price) and was done the same day and the follow up appointments didn't cost anything!!! It's been a few weeks now and my little girl is back to normal:) I would highly recommend everyone with a pet to visit this vet and tell all of their friends too. Thanks very much again to Dr. Pawan Kurlehria and staff!!

Spayed and Neutered all of my barn cats here. Dr. Pawan is an amazing vet I take all of my animals and my families animals here even though I have to commute to Oakville. He Amputated my cat Carl's leg in december and he has been a huge life saver in times of crisis for me and my pets. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking for a Vet that cares.

Best vet experience I've ever had. I have a rescue dog who's very nervous around strangers, especially when one is trying to touch him. In the past it's taken techs over an hour to get a blood sample from him. Not here. The staff at Cornwall Animal Hospital were all very understanding and gentle with him, and the vet was incredible. We were in and out of the exam room in under three minutes, and he got to go back in the car to wait while they saw my other dog. He used to come home and throw up from stress after a vet trip, but yesterday he came home smiling and just happy he'd gone for a car ride. It was minimal stress for both me and him. The vet and other staff are incredible with animals. Everyone is calm and steady, and every time I've been there (with my other dog) the place has been quiet and almost zen-like. They really understand animals, and I could not possibly recommend them enough. (And if that isn't enough - they don't push any products or additional things. The vet will tell you what should be done, then offer other services but he makes it clear these are additional and not necessary. He gave me some pamphlets on natural anti-anxiety remedies for my dogs and told me to go home to think about them. There's no pressure to buy everything right now like I've felt at other vets.) This is a vet you can trust. To take care of your animals properly and with kindness, and to understand your needs as an owner as well.

The kindness,patience and caring are second to none. Everything is explained and nothing is rushed , follow up calls are a welcome touch also.

I would highly recommend them for c section to anyone who brings in their dogs they are thorough and so experienced and you will never be disappointed with Dr.Pawan.

We had taken our cat Felix to this hospital for his vaccinations and haircuts (he never had any health issues) and we always thought that the staff was nice and caring. However, recently, when our cat was gravely ill and we were so desperate, Cornwall animal hospital let us down. Felix's illness started just less than a week prior to our visit and was progressing really fast. When we brought him in he could hardly walk and had trouble breathing. Doctor (I believe it was Pritam Randhawa) did an examination and said he did not know what was wrong with our cat and he needed to do testing. He presented us with the bill for all the suggested procedures that came to almost a thousand dollars. Our cat ended up dying less than 36 hours later on another vet's table (at Oakville Animal hospital) without euthanasia. This is how weak he was. I understand you want your money, Dr. Pritam, but show some compassion! There are things more important than money. Helping a dying animal who, within a week lost almost half of his weight and was probably in so much pain, should have been your priority, not presenting a $999 estimate. We asked Dr. Pritam several times if he thought it 'd be better to put Felex down right then and he was still trying to sell us painkiller pills (Felix gave up on any solid food and was hardly eating any soft food). It is very frustrating to get such care from a place where Felix was not a stranger. The doctor and her assistant at the Oakville animal hospital where we came a day after had never known Felix but showed so much more care and compassion. What a shame that money comes first for some vets! I just felt like I needed to write this review for those of you looking for a vet. There are better clinics in Oakville, for sure - places where doctors would make reasonable judgments based on what they know and see and where the doctor would do what is best for the animal not for their own pocket. P.S. After reading your response to my review, Dr. Pawan, I can see that you were misinformed by the doctor who was filling in for you. He did NOT offer the euthanasia option even after us asking if this would be the best option for Felix that night. Your substitute should have seen that the cat was dying and there would be no help in any of the suggested tests and procedures. We COULD SEE that but it was hard for us to make that decision without a professional telling us: this would be the best for your cat at this point, let us relieve him from suffering. Your substitute doctor, however, did put euthanasia on the invoice (as declined- really???) among seven other procedures just to cover himself, I guess. We only noticed it after I read your response to my review. It's too late to argue now, but please know the truth before making it sound like we declined everything. I understand there should be no guesswork, but I believe a well trained and experienced vet should see that there is no hope and not try to make it look like getting the diagnosis right after 6 different procedures will save the animal. Maybe your substitute doctor is lacking this experience and is going to learn from this. That was why I wrote my review and this post scriptum.

Excellent hospital. I took my new puppy as recommended by the Friend. I met with the technician who was friendly, I did not wait for my appointment, the doctor explained to me everything (vaccines, what to expect as he is growing in term of chewing and feeding etc), maintaining good health for him. Great experience with Dr Pawan and wonderful staff at cornwall animal hospital.Ever since my GSD Toffy migrated to canada , she seem to have lot of health problems but I could not find a vet who could help me out satisfactorily. Then my friend suggested about Dr.Pawan and thanks to him Toffy has been cured of her gastric troubles and skin infections. Also their free tick evaluation helped us a lot . I absolutely LOVE this clinic. I have to say, I have been to a number of clinics, and this one by far, has the most amazing staff and service. They are the most kind, loving people, that actually care about your furbabies/ animals. I have been numerous times and will continue to come back because of the exceptional service that is given by the AMAZING veterinarian, and his staff. Today I brought my dog and her 9 puppies in. They received a little checkup and they got their tails docked. I was extremely nervous going in to get this procedure done on the puppies but because of Dr. Pawan, and Mandy, I felt at ease. I have been to many vets with our dog and I can honestly say now I would never even consider taking him anywhere else since we found this hospital ! Not only is the staff the most caring and considerate but the facility is amazing. My entire family now brings their pets to cornwall animal hospital for everything- vaccination ,heart-worm testing along with surgeries-spay/neuter. What I appreciate most is that they are the most honest facility I have been to yet. They will never ask to do an procedure or treatment unless it is needed. I feel confident and safe that what they are telling me is the truth and not that they just want more money (which I felt at all our past vets!). If you love your pet, and you probably do then take them to cornwall vet in oakville!!!

However a few years ago we found the most amazing clinic .The clinic is very clean , with the latest equipment, like no other I have seen before. Which makes me feel very comfortable for the time that my dogs visited there. The staff is very professional and always knowledgeable and friendly. Now let me tell you about the Dr. He should be called DR. HEART. His priority is not the money ,but the animal in need. I've tried about 5 vets in the Oakville area and this by far is the best one I've found. Vets for some reason don't understand how expensive simple procedures are and yet time and time again they convince you to do them "just in case". You walk in thinking it looks minor but next thing you know they did a bunch of tests and the bill is over $400 bucks! At this clinic they are not only friendly and courteous but smart. I took my dog there for a strange cough. He informed me of a few reasons of what it could be but recommended the cheapest option first. It worked and my dogs been fine ever since. The doctor by far was the best vet that I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. My dogs 17 years old now and I'm finally happy I've found an excellent veterinarian. Btw. He even called me himself a week later to check how he's doing. Awesome!

We have been taking our Weimaraner to Dr. Pawan Kutlehria since he was a puppy. He is very thorough and makes sure we understand what procedures are being done. He answers all my questions with patience and a smile, even if my questions are silly or repetitive. He is the most gentle with the animals and at first glance, you can see that he cares so much about the animals in his care. Recently, we had our dog neutered. Although Dr. Kutlehria told us it would take about a week for our dog to recover fully, he was up within a day and has not even tried to lick or scratch the area. The stitching didn't bother him at all, as a matter of fact, it is so well done, you can hardly tell there are stitches. I first took my dog to Cornwal animal hospital because I thought the prices were very competitive (actually a bit lower in contrast to other veterinarians around this area) and now I wouldn't change because our dog as well as us are so confortable with the care we receive. The vet techs always welcome you with a smile and are friendly as well. I highly recommend him.

We have been taking our two dogs to Cornwall Animal Hospital since we moved to Oakville last year. They are reasonably priced, I can always get an appointment when I need to, and most importantly Dr. Pawan seems to really care about his clients/animals! This past weekend we had an incident with our dog and he needed to have a minor surgery after hours - Dr. Pawan came into the office for us to help our dog and we were so grateful to not have to go to a random emergency vet! Overall a great place and would definitely recommend.

Pawan Kutlehria is a soft spoken and nice gentleman. i am sure he is very capable to deal with the fundamentals of general care for your pets such as heartworm/fleas, spaying/neutering and annual shots. However, i am unsure how experienced and knowledgeable he is of additional issues outside of the norm with additional research required. The initial consultation appointment compare to other vets was light - 15 mins and was not as extensive as other vets although we had already prep them about the issue ahead of the appointment and they attained the medical file from our retired vet. It entailed questions from the RVT and and quick stethoscope around the body). Being an experienced dog owner of 5 dogs, it was a little surprising. The level of preparedness for the first appointment was also not up to standard that we have experienced with other high rated vets. No follow up call on the next day to check on the status of the issue. We had to initiate a follow up call 3 days later to advise his office there was no improvement our dog's condition. We are advised they were still reviewing the file and would get back to us at the end of day - which he did after consulting a "neurologist" for an internal intestinal issue? However by that time, we had already consulted another vet who was well prepared (reviewed the file in detail from our previous vet) and seem to be quite knowledgeable and were able to provide consulting on potential issues and recommended next steps during the initial one hour assessment appointment. The clinic has only been around since 2013 and unsure what the experience is prior. It is interesting to see so many exemplary reviews from so many online savvy clients in a 3.5 yr period compared to many other vets but good for them to be able accumulate.
