This was one of the best experiences I've ever had with a business. A full 10 out of 5 stars. The staff are kind, courteous, and professional. Everyone took time to answer questions and help me understand whats going on with my dog .... my family member. They treated my dog and me with respect and kindness, they made time to see us in an emergency situation, during business hours, despite this meaning having to work harder on other cases to catch up. I'm so appreciative of their support, kindness, and abilities, again 10 out of 5 stars.

Dr.Cairns was amazing! Such a truly caring,.. friendly person and wonderful doctor. Thank you for her help with my 2 little "brother kittens", that I personally rescued from a barn in winter 2017.I know they were in good hands for their neutering with Dr.Cairns and staff.I have never had any health issues with them since,and their surgeries were in Nov. 1st of 2018. She was so kind to honour a rescue package from the previous vet,that I had paid for in full, but I had not finished up with my 2 kittens and the other vet before the animal hospital changed ownership. She did not charge me (again) for the neutering, just for a few post-surgery medications for them. I appreciated her kindness and understanding, as I am medically disabled and couldn't have afforded to have paid twice for their neutering surgeries. Had a life threatening experience with my dog while on a trip and they wouldn't allow me to bring my dog in after hours as I wasn't one of their clients, I tried pleading with them and they still wouldn't help. They informed me that I had to drive to dartmouth for my emergency as they refused to see me, luckily my dog did survive the trip but it was definitely a scary situation. I would have paid anything for them to see him there but it was still a flat no.

I live an hour away- in Halifax- and I trust this vet with the health of my animals. I put them in the car and drive to get them checked here, because they are better than any vet I have found in Halifax. If that's not a good recommendation, nothing is.

My greyhound kept having shoulder pain, and the vet kept advising that I was being over sensitive to his pain; she wouldn’t investigate his symptoms on numerous occasions, and just gave him pain meds. After about 6 months of this I took him to another vet and he had bone cancer and was so far advanced he had to be put to rest. I would recommend if this happened to anyone please go get a second opinion, you are not crazy; your animals are worth a vet’s time and care!

I am new to Wolfville, have two dogs and had a litter of puppies since I’ve been here. I am truly amazed at the incredible care of the Wolfville veterinary hospital. They are quick to respond, if it’s an emergency they have me in there immediately, they don’t financially gouge me, and all-around incredible care. You never feel rushed when you’re in with the vet and it’s amazing to me that after a visit they will always call a day or two later to find out how your pet is faring. A thumbs up for the Wolfville animal hospital!
