I called today just because of the location being close to my home. And I needed a Vet ASAP because my cat had a sewing needle lodged in her throat. The staff was immediately so attentive to my cat and to my concerns and she received excellent care so quickly I could not believe it. Everything was explained and the most conservative approach (and least costly) was tried first and it worked. I was so relieved that I was able to get the care my cat needed and I would definitely recommend this clinic for any type of care; routine health check ups or more serious concerns. The staff were all very kind and professional and the clinic is very clean and spacious. Thank you so much to staff of PetWorks for taking care of my cat.

They were the vets for two of our dogs. Most recently we called them with an emergency at 5 pm ,(closing is 8pm). They indicated they couldn't fit us in until 8 days later. My dog was put down later that night at the emergency hospital. I understand they have a business to run but I would not expect that attitude from healthcare system and expect at least an approximation from a vet. Consider your expectations before making commitment to them.

Brought our new rescue pup in and had a wonderful experience, had our concerns listened to and addressed. Very knowledgeable staff and helpful in planning out our vaccinations with recommendations. My two cats have been going there for the past few years and I’ll be happy to take the entire fur family there regularly. COVID times are difficult and stressful but this establishment is doing well making sure our fur babies are still looked after and that does not go unnoticed!

The staff are AWESOME... the vets, technicians, and administration staff took great care of our late golden, Maverick. Mav was diagnosed with cancer, a month later, we lost him on Valentines day two years ago, he had just turned 9 years old. It was such a difficult time, the folks at Petworks treated Maverick like one of their own!! We will forever be grateful for all they did for him/us!! Presently, our golden, Spencer-Reid has brought back joy & happiness to our lives and again, the folks at Petworks have been AMAZING with his care. ❤

This was our second visit to Petworks Veterinary Hospital and I have to say the first was excellent with a visting locum vet. Outstanding vet unfortunately this recent visit was about as bad as an experience at a vet that I've ever had. Our little girl was in complete and sudden distress when we brought her in and literally the only thing that this vet ( Dr Jane ) and truthfully some of the assisting staff ( although I think they have to tow the line so I don't hold any ill will ) were concerned about was giving us estimates and or getting paid , to the point of actually walking into the special euthanasia room asking if we would like the debit terminal brought in prior to our little dog being put to sleep , seriously ?? .. are you that worried we were going to instantly bolt when it was done that you couldn't of waited and yes I heard the spiel of the privacy door and being able to leave right after etc etc but I can tell you it was about the most tactless moment I've had in a long memory and with the previous events utter BS. Dr Jane , you were rushed , abrupt and completely unforthcoming with any help as far as which decision to make. It was just another test , possible procedure followed by " I'll have an estimate prepared" What did you actually do to help our little girl ?... Oxygen ??...what would you of done while you ran more tests and called in specialists to ease her suffering ?.. Given that she stopped breathing twice in my wife's arms and lost her bowels, could you not of done more in the interim to make her comfortable while suggesting one more test and estimate ... Could you not see that you had two frantic owners without a clue which way to go while our little girl continued to suffer somewhere in the back ?? perhaps some direction maybe a touch of compassion ?? . I could of cared less about the cost but instead we left with broken hearts and huge huge hole in our home from very little dog , but hey the bill got paid ....

I've boarded Widdershins a few times now and have been pleased every time. He's a one witch black cat who treats everyone but me like his own personal scratching post. I know that he will never be a cuddly kitty with other people and they understand that here. They don't infringe on his personal hiss space, but keep him warm, fed, clean and safe. He could have a great time and be played with and cuddled and petted. All the other cats are. It's reassuring when I am out of the country to know that his vet is just up the stairs if anything were to go wrong. Thanks to all of the staff who tried so hard to be friends with Widdershins. He appreciates it deep, deep, deeep down in his black kitty heart. ( and I do too!)

I had a vet visit today and they needed a pee sample. First off they said her bladder was too small but they would try anyways. They went and tried to get a sample but she would not pee. I had to pay 85$ just because my cat could not pee. What if that was me at a doctor office (I know personally i can not pee on command also will not pee in public area) and i could not pee would i have to pay 100$ for nothing and still come back the next day and pay more if they found or did not find anything?

As vets there are things you have to do that make pets uncomfortable but they take the half second to offer reassurance and that means so much. Brought my cat here for radioactive iodine therapy. The staff were always friendly and helpful. They contacted me daily with updates on my kitty. It was so stressful for me and her having her gone for a week but I felt better knowing she was in such good hands. They answered all of my questions and were always patient and reassuring with my concerns. I wouldn't hesitate to bring my pets here again, although hopefully I won't have to. We just had our first visit to Petworks last week and found the staff and facilities to be absolutely amazing. After our regular visit we returned home but our dog was having a hard time breathing with the heat and we called the office and rushed him back in. As soon as we arrived, they were ready to take him out back to cool him down and give him oxygen which I believe saved his life. I am sure every emergency visit is different but I feel like I was very lucky to find this vet and wanted to thank the staff for their help and care for our little guy and also to give Petworks five big thumbs up!!!!! Ive been taking my Jax to Petworks since the day I rescued him 3 years ago. My previous vet had retired so I had to find a new one. I had met Dr Jane 2 years prior when she was filling in for my vet and she was great with my cats, she made an impression on me that day. When I walked in and saw her at Petworks I asked her immediately if she would be Jax's vet. People who make impressions are remembered and I couldnt believe my luck to see her there that day. They are a great team there. I wouldnt take him anywhere else!!

My dog went to Petworks since he was a puppy. Overall the vets were pretty good diagnostically speaking. But I did find it difficult to get in to see the same vet with any consistency which meant we saw different vets almost every visit. The biggest disappointment came though at the end of his life, which was fairly premature for his breed. They emailed me to check in after his emergency vet visit to see how he was doing and he had already been put down (which they would have received paperwork for). I called and left a message to let them know and I never heard from them again. I had his ashes shipped to their location and when I picked them up no condolences were offered. Very disappointing to take your pet to the same place for almost ten years and to be written off so nonchalantly.

I had to board my cat on extremely short notice. This was the first time I boarded her so I was quite anxious – the staff at PetWorks was amazing and went well above and beyond what I expected. What was supposed to be a day turned into three overnighters, and they kept me informed with pics and reassuring emails. My experience with PetWorks over the years was positive. Their professionalism was obvious, and so was their love of animals. I have contemplated posting this review as I chose to have my darling schnauzer euthanized last August. My experience was very traumatic. When I arrived the receptionist was busy with lady trying to arrange partial payments for her cat’s treatment. When I finally got into the room for the euthanasia I was informed there could be aspects of the procedure that could be painful. In the middle of the trauma I had to pay for the service. Somehow my experience was extremely painful. Watching Tess squirm and whimper was totally overwhelming for me. My friend that accompanied me is a retired palliative care nurse. She found it painful to watch as well. I am not trying to dissuade people from going to your clinic. Perhaps payment could be made beforehand. I wanted to make you aware of that. I know your staff is caring. I just had to tell you about my experience. Good luck in future endeavours.

My pet had a regular check up and annual needles. Dr. Jane and the whole team are always attentive. They ask and listen to concerns, engage with the owner and pet. They accommodate that my pet does not like to be on the table and will work with that. They know her and work around her sensitivities, answering questions and providing advice and support. We had to take Willow to the clinic for an annual check-up and top-up shot. Unfortunately, Willow gets terribly stressed and in a panic as she is quite a nervous cat and if there is a delay because they are busy, she goes into a hyperventilating melt-down. At this visit, Willow proceeded to mess on the floor and pee in her box whilst waiting for an ear test result. Dr Jane could not have been more matter-of-fact about these events, despite our embarrassment. We find that whenever we ring, for whatever the reason, all the staff are extremely kind and helpful. Totally disrespectfull to clients. We have been using petworks fo 10 yrs for our three pets. My wife took our dog in for yearly checkup and was informed our dog needed meds for infection in ears. This consisted of 3 applications over a period of 3 weeks. I took the dog in for her second application and was informed by the vet assistant that there was no charge as it was already paid for. I exited the exam room and the assistant relayed to the front desk staff no charge. I proceeded home and after I arrive I receive a phone call that there was a charge and that I need to go back and pay. I said I would pay on the next appointment next week which was not received well and that it had to be paid today. I informed them I was not going to get back into my vehicle and drive back for a $60 charge and would pay ext visit. On the third visit my wife took the dog and was refused service until the bill was paid in full. My wife said that she would pay the full amount for both appointment once received . The front counter woman said that was not good enough since your husband ran out without paying last time, implying that I stole a service. That was a total false statement and was under the impression the service was prepaid unlike what I have experience before. I have spent in excess of $10000 at this establishment and will not be treated like a common thief and will move my services to a clinic that is respectful to clients

I have been taking my dogs to Petworks for the past 20 years and I have nothing but positive things to say about this vet clinic. The staff are extremely professional, knowledgeable and friendly and treat your pets as if they were their own. Yes, you may have a short wait but this is only because you will not feel rushed during your apt. as care is taken to explain procedures, discuss options and answer any questions you may have. Follow-up care is excellent and cleanliness is top notch. Petworks may be more expensive (although I do not know that it is) but confidence that your pet will receive the best care possible is worth it to me. It was a great experience! The veterinarian did a detailed examination and explained the treatment plan in detail. Additionally she listened to my concern about the topic and notes I had. I also received the diagnosis and the treatment-plan also via e-mail. For our 12 month-old -pup (east -european - Shepard with 55kg) with ligament injury a very good choice to go to this place !! Excellent service! We are new clients, and first impressions are important - Petworks came through with flying colours. They reviewed our new dog's history (she's a rescue), asking lots of questions and answering all of mine. The appointment was on time, too - no waiting! COVID restrictions were followed carefully, so I could not accompany my dog on her visit, but Dr. Jane called me during the appointment to discuss her. All of my concerns were addressed, and no treatments or foods were "pushed" on us, which has happened elsewhere. Highly recommended!

My experience cannot truly be explained with words. I have two elderly cats, one with a hyperthyroid and another with an upper respiratory issue. One was treated with radiation and the other had a scope completed to evaluate the cause of the symptoms. What I can say.... this facility has exceeded all expectations. Phenomenal staff. They treat you, not just your pet. My concern for both, was their daily function, feelings, well being. I had five phone calls in one day, just to provide updates. Your fur babies are under the best care, and the fur parents are also taken care of too, despite the hardship. I cannot thank this facility and its staff enough. We are so thankful for the care throughout this process. Thank you, thank you. On another note, being the person that I am, I need straight answers. Not fluff that others require. I needed to know the options, the risks, the potential outcomes. Dr. Rick provided everything I needed to know. He took the time to listen. Explained extensively. I needed every word to make my decisions. It was so greatly appreciated. I have more time with my "boys" thanks to PetWorks.

I've been coming to Petworks for 5 years. I trust no one else with my Pets. My dog had 2 TPLO surgeries and is now fully back to normal because of Dr. RIck. My Lab loves to go to the Vet to see Rick and the staff but especially Taylor. I know when I drop my pets off there, they will be spoiled with love and affection for the day. Explainations are thorough for any procedures or medications that our pets may require. The staff here have taken such good care of our 8 year old Lab and they always make you feel welcomed. They love on our dog as if she were their own. They are the best!

Brought our Chihuahua in for Dental, and couldn't be happier. They took amazing precautions for the humans and COVID, and we had no issues with the dental work/aftercare. They clearly treat/care for the animals as their own as our Chihuahua was excited to go back for a checkup. Highly recommend this practice!

I will forever be grateful to Petworks vet for the experience my babydog Lou and our family had with his TPLO surgery. Major surgery that I was sooo nervous for as a first time adult dog owner.
