I was so impressed with the customer service we received at the Bedford Commons location. The PetSmart associate, Luna, went above and beyond in her efforts to help us find a product to help with our sick cat. Very appreciated...and the cat, Mifi, is doing much better.???????? Thank you Luna ????

He is very helpful,polite, and has a admirable approach to up selling. Ray doesn't seem to miss a beat. In fact all the staff here seem to be very courteous, and well trained. Each of the Petsmart stores I have been in have been clean, well organized and well stocked. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. The prices are great and with the perks, you are rewarded with every purchase. They keep my pets happy, what more could I ask?!
Really helpful staff, and a very good selection of pet supplies. We went to two other stores in larger shopping districts, who didn't have the item we needed. This location had exactly what we were after, and we were in and out in just a few minutes.
Terrible selection. Out of most stuff... cashier obviously hated her job. The bag of food I bought I realized had a tear in it after I paid... staff not willing to do anything about it

They have to many issues getting trainers to stay.. my dog was poorly trained due to this and they wouldnt return my money although they have a 100% guarantee or your money back. To have to spend more more money to have my.dog trained properly

I have a great visit every time I come here. I buy frozen feeder rats for my pet snake. There freezer is currently broken but staff is always friendly and happy to go out back to grab me what I need.
My mastiff/boxer mix loves coming in here. He looks a little threatening but is the sweetest little soul. The staff does not discriminate and are always very friendly and accommodating!

I recently purchased a budgie for my son. The store was clean and quiet. The staff were friendly and knowledgable. They were extremely kind to my two autistic sons and very patiently talked with them. I could not have asked for a better petstore experience.
This PetSmart in Bedford is totally unprofessional...I have never met such people. Was told that I had to self isolate and they couldn't groom my dog because I'm from pei. And the Nova Scotia health website clearly states that only anyone from outside pei new Brunswick and NS coming into has to self isolate. Maybe they should learn to read..
Went in desperate to find Fancy Feast (is the dry food discontinued?) for my two extremely fussy Siamese. To my dismay it to was not available at PetSmart either. The young lady who attended me was kind enough to make some suggestions and was extremely knowledgeable about their products! I was sceptical to say the least, as my fur babies are are fussy to a fault but settled on a Blue Bonnet product for Adult Cats. She further explained that, if the girls refused to eat it there was no problem returning the product as long as fifty percent remained. Well, to make a long story short I should never have worried, they dug in with a gusto and as the food is so much more filling and nutricus they require so much less to be sated. I wish I had thought to get the young ladies name as she did a marvelous job.

Very nice place in friendly, bit expensive to get a dog name label There but was great anyway. I hope they will get in Lint brush or sticky brush as I need to buy a lot of them even with brushing with the furmanator. Also Live Rats to feed my snow I buy a snake and he only eats alive and now can not buy food for him, do you know how scary it is being around a hungry snake.
When it comes to exotic pets your better off shopping online. Unfortunately this is the best we have otherwise. Small and costly selections. Staff is under educated in proper care of most exotic animals.

This was my first time here. My girlfriend wanted to get a fish and some other things to go along with it. The woman that helped us out was extremely nice and helpful. She really knew what she was taking about. Too bad I don't remember her name.

Great shopping experience. Large selection of items for all pets, but like most stores they seem to focuse on cat/dog items. Staff was nice. Store was clean but the shelves weren't well stocked.
Awful customer service. Manager followed me and my friends around entire time and stared at us as we walked out of the store. We are teenagers who own pets and we need supplies for them! So sick of people assuming teenagers always steal. All of us and our families are never coming back here. Very disrespectful.
Usually have what I need. Today they did not have pellet goldfish food that I get. The fish seem happy with the substitute. I have purchased fish in the past and they worked out well. No complaints
Dog food bags are now half filled and that half that's in the bag is half kibbles and half dust. So much for a pet shop. Have been a client there me and my pouch but recently am disappointed about this store.

First time shopping here and I was quite surprised at the good experience. I thought it was going to be large and faceless and impersonal, but all the staff members were very helpful, friendly and available when needed. I appreciate them taking the time to get me properly signed up for their programs and such. In addition, I was very impressed with the large variety of pet foods and brands and accessories. I'll be back again.

I was just there to purchase something. There was an older gentleman (mid to late 70s) in front of me at the cash, no mask, coughing and hacking up a storm. If the sign on the door says masks are mandatory, why is this not being enforced. Management was no where to be seen while this was going on.
I went to this store in Bedford and I was VERY disappointed with the manager... she didn't want to give me the price I saw listed and I said it's false advertising if you don't... she was extremely rude to me and said she didn't care about customer service or about what I thought as a customer... I argued with her because I knew I wasn't leaving without paying $8 for the leashes that had a giant sign above them on the SAME hook saying $8!!!! Finally after I was basically screaming she gave me the 2 leashes for the $8 because I said I would live stream and post it online!!! I thought it was ridiculous that the situation needed to get that intense before she would give me the sale price... I found her very condescending and snide and she thought she was above me!!!! I'll NEVER go back to this location EVER!!!!! I'm way too pleased with the service I've been receiving at the Dartmouth Crossing location!!!!
staff will grill you on fish care and even reject you from getting fish despite having a wonderful aquarium for them to live in, meanwhile their fish are in near dead condition. many fish were dying in the tanks or dead already. a beta was brought home that seemed fine but then it died the next day. this is not uncommon for pet smart fish to be sick and dying. aquarica is the way to go!

Good advice and very friendly. They handled a 4 year old rescue very will when I had no idea if he'd been groomed before or not. I was impressed and he seemed to very much enjoy the experience.
No paper towel in your bathroom no place to hang your jacket someone previously didn't number 2 did not flush nor did your staff check and pee all over the seat

Staff want to make up their own rules during covid-19 pandemic. wont supply a name for the store manager, certainly wont give you any assistance in picking out what you need, and get argumentative when you disagree with their point of view. horrible staff for the ones i dealt with will NEVER step foot in this store again.

I go mainly for the groomers. They have taken such good care of my dog even though she can be difficult. I was surprised when I got her back to find bows on her ears. Definitely professional. There is also a large selection of items.
I do not recommend this location. Today my dog Briar was in for a standard trim. He’s a 6 month old, kind hearted GoldenDoodle and they took over FOUR HOURS, the poor thing had to use the washroom as soon as he was leaving the store. When we dropped him off, they blamed a storm from two days ago causing delays, but then a 3 year old golden retriever and another hypoallergenic puppy went in after Briar and were gone while my dog was still on the clipping table. They also shoved him into a kennel for drying, which he is not kennel trained, so that probably caused more stress, for the groomer to start another dog and leave mine in a box. His body is covered in clipper lines, his hair is uneven all over his torso. He also can not stop scratching his ear for the past hour since we got home… They blamed this snow storm for their unorganized incompetence and offered a sheer bandana to put around his neck to make him “look cute”. So after 4 hours, partially trapped in a box, being passed over to other groomers and $132.00CAD later… 10/10 do not recommend, Michelle was the groomer. We will not be back.
Nice well stocked store. They allow you to take fur babies in while you shop making it easier when you have to pick items out for them. Staff was very helpful.
I just watched one of your employees have an absolute meltdown at Michael’s because she couldn’t use the “one item per person per transaction” coupon for 3 items. She kept raising her voice saying she was buying it on the company card and if they didn’t honour breaking the rules for her she would send the rest of the staff over. Do stores in the same complex have some deal with each other or something? I had to sit back (along with the rest of the lineup) and listen to a grown woman have a temper tantrum because a single employee (who has nothing to with company policy) wouldn’t break the rules for her. I have had so many bad experiences from the Petsmart staff this location and seeing this while not in store, but as a representative of the store, sealed the deal. I guarantee if I came into that Petsmart with the same attitude I would be asked to leave. I’m done with this place.
Not the friendliest service at this store in particular in Bedford by the highway - the clerk at the front just was not overly friendly and certainly was not sincere. BTW - definitely would recommend subscribing to this store in order to use in-store coupons, because it can save you quite a bit of money! I thought of using my phone to look for a coupon and ended up with a good discount. So glad for free subscriptions!
The girls were fantastic with my 4 year old dog with her first time getting groomed.
I'm pretty sure that if you have a pet of any description you already know this is an awesome store for pet services, per food, treats, toys and clothing ???? They staff here are great and always willing to help! The reasonnI gave them 4 stars is because they have a bad habit of putting items on sales racks that are not on sale! This is my only complaint!

If you took your dog to be groomed at this location today between 10:30 and 11:30, ask to see footage from their security cameras in the grooming room. I was watching the dogs being groomed and what I saw made me sick to my stomach. One of the groomers (and I use the term loosely) was was brushing a dog so hard that it was yelping in pain- clearly in physical discomfort and wincing away from the groomer every time the brush hit his fur. Of course it could not get away from her as it was leashed in place. The poor animal was hyperventilating and i could tell it’s heart was racing as this woman continuously hacked at him with the brush with no mercy or consideration for its obvious pain, fear and discomfort. As the dog continued to whine and pant she actually rolled her eyes, turned away in impatience and then came back at the dog even harder, this time hacking away at his paws. I asked to see the manager and told her what I had witnessed. After I insisted, she went in to speak with this woman’s supervisor. After this conversation, she came back and told me that the dog was “young” and not used to being groomed, and that’s why it was acting that way. I came back at her saying I had been watching for long enough to know that this wasn’t normal - the dog was fully grown and this “groomer” was obviously being abusive to the dog. The “groomer” actually had the gall to smirk at me while the manager was making excuses for her. I continued to argue with the manager but she defended the groomer, turned away and told me to “have a good day”. Other customers noticed what was going on but said nothing until I spoke up - then they added their voice to my concerns. My advice - do not submit your dog to the abuse they will receive at this location. If you are foolish enough to ignore my advice then at least stick around to make sure your dog is not receiving the appalling treatment I witnessed today. No animal deserves to be treated like that. In hindsight I should have waited for the owners to return to tell them firsthand what I saw, because I’m sure no one else did. Hopefully this post will help.
