Brought our 3 year old cat Ares for his annual check up and shots. In the past with other vets this has been a traumatizing experience for our baby needing sedation, muzzles etc. Our appointment with Dr Haggett and the team was beyond amazing!!!! Our cat had such a wonderful experience and got to do a full physical which I think was the first time since he was a kitten. Without having to use force or any sedation on top of it. I am soo thankful for them and truly appreciate the time and kindness that they put into their work.

I can't say enough good things about this vet clinic and specifically, the vet Dr. Kellie Haggett! I visited North End Animal Hospital on their very first day open to public with my sick three month old boxer puppy, Nacho, while on vacation from Ontario. It was very stressful to have to coordinate a vet visit on vacation with a sick puppy but the clinic was quick, kind, understanding and incredibly helpful. I felt like Kellie truly listened to everything I was saying and was so good with Nacho. She was smart, compassionate and helpful. She also laid out my options for care and left the choice in my hands, without pressuring us to spend unnecessary money. If I lived in Halifax I would definitely take my pets here - good vibes all around. Thank you Dr. Haggett and North End Animal Hospital for helping Nacho!

My 10 year old Chihuahua Oscar and I are new to the Halifax Area. Oscar has been off the past couple of days so I called around to different Animal hospitals as I have been having trouble finding a vet for my 2 dogs, and cat since moving to the city. North End Animal Hospital answered my call around 8:30am this morning, and they were able to see him by 3:00pm the same day. They were so good with him, and explained everything thoroughly to me and laid out a great care plan for his current ailment, as well as a care plan for some things Oscar will need to better enhance his senior years! (Even though he still feels like a puppy most days) Special thanks to Dr. Haggett and all the wonderful Veterinary Technicians who took such great care of Oscar. (and me) I highly recommend North End Animal Hospital to anyone looking for a great place to care for their fur kids!

I was looking after a friends cat who needed to see a vet. They took me the next day and we had a wonderful experience from start to finish. They really treat you like you’re family!! The owner of the cat I was looking after will now be bringing both of her kitties here. I personally also brought my new kitten in a week later for her 2nd booster and again had a wonderful experience. The staff are so kind, patient and accommodating and the facility is Gorgeous!! Thank you to the North end team and DR Kellie for taking care of my fur babies! Thanks for the goody bag :)

Highly recommend this vet clinic! We sought out a vet that would be able to see our dog who can be reactive due to anxiety and protectiveness. Whereas the precious clinic we went to seemed afraid of our dog, did not attempt to interact with her and only recommended medications, Candice, vet tech from North End Animal Hospital, took the time to interact with our dog and even scheduled in several exposure sessions!! Candice is very skilled and patient. Both Candice and Dr. Haggett saw our dog for her vaccine appt and they were both amazing and took the time after to do another exposure session after the vaccines!! Dr. Haggett was super knowledgeable and thorough. You could tell that they really care about the animals they work with and go the extra mile ????

Our 14 y/o dog developed rapid kidney failure - that our previous vet had had overlooked with routine bloodwork 3 months prior. We thought we were going in for a UTI. The staff at North End did everything they could for our little mama and what has stayed with me is how compassionate they were to us and her. I cannot recommend them enough.

What a wonderful vet this is! We were having trouble getting an appointment at our old vet due to changes brought on by the pandemic. North End Animal Hospital was able to get our cat in quickly and went above and beyond for our little guy - even when he gave them so much attitude! From reception to the vets, everyone was great from initial visit to post surgery. Dr. Katie O’Hanley and Dr. Kellie Haggett both did such a wonderful job taking care of him, but also a huge thank you to the vet tech Candice; the amount of respect and care she showed our very anxious boy made a very stressful time so much easier. We will be switching all our animals over to this clinic - I cannot recommend them enough. Thanks to you all again - our little guy is doing great now!
