Pretty good veterinarian we've called with issues that most vets would say yeah bring the animal in but they would say try this first or they'll be fine excellent staff really made my dog feel comfortable with getting booster shots took their time to make us feel like people not a paycheck. To the reviewer who mentioned that they ask for payment first before treatment that wasn't the case with our visit. The dog got shots and all the treatment first and then we paid on the way out and this is the same and my partner took in his cat

We are so lucky to have Fundy as our vet. Twice now they (Jane) and the wonderful staff at Fundy have had to rescue us. The staff that I am extra spoiled by (Shonna, Kelly and Emily) treat Joe like family. They ensure your pets are well cared for at all times. They treat them as if they are thier own. And even if you call worried about your pet 50 times as you are a very concerned parent they always keep you informed and even the doctor speaks to you. The service is spectacular and so easy to deal with for insurance purposes. Thanks Fundy for taking such good care of my baby boy and working withr us at difficult times.

Our dog had somehow injured himself - like a lower back wrench in a human. Very sensitive, hurt to touch, and he couldn't lift his leg to pee - yeah, he was hurting - so much that when I moved him he'd mouth me.. Before lifting him on to the table, Dr. Eye put a little muzzle on and examined him on the floor. Then she skillfully lifted him to the table - not even a yelp - and completed her exam. A thorough, competent and low key exam - and she slipped an injection into him so smoothly he didn't even flinch. Yes - a good experience. The local anti-inflammatory and 5 day course of pills restored him to his happy self.

Got my cat fixed here, amazing staff. We also thought she had ear mites and the staff informed us it was actually an infection and we got the correct medication, our cat has had absolutely no issues and is doing amazing. Unfortunately, we had to put our dog down recently due many health issues. Dr. Stewart and the whole team was both professional and compassionate, making a terrible experience as easy and painless as possible. They even sent us a condolences card a week later! They clearly care about the animals they care for and it shows in their work. I would recommend to anyone.

I had a Polish chicken that I thought had Coccidiosis and they got me into the Stewiake clinic. Did fecal sample looked at her and gave me medication. It was a great experience and I appreciate that they have a large animal vet that will look at chickens. Mischief my Gold laced little hen also appreciates them.

I dropped my kitten 'Luna' off on Aug 8 whereas she was scheduled for spay on the 9th(no charge for the night),my sister picked her up at 4:15 after her surgery the next day,and brought her home, after she came out of her carrier I noticed that someone had adorned her with a colorful hankie tied around her neck. (Nice gesture)Luna then had her pressure bandage removed from her leg, she went right to her food dish which was picked up as she was only allowed little drinks of water in case she was sick...that wasnt enough..she wanted her food... giving in...she got her food... she kept it down and it was like she never even had surgery, except for her belly hair missing....thumbs up to Shubenacadie Fundy Veternarians..you did a wonderful job with my kitten

I moved to Fundy Vet some time ago after continuous disappointment with a different Vet in the area. I've been with Fundy for a couple years now with cats and a dog and have been very satisfied. When my dog passed, they were so careful with me and my dogs last moments and their follow up was very personal which I really appreciated and never expected. Every appointment has been excellent, and they've been flexible in understanding each appointment with respect to costs, medical advice, and personal suggestions. Again, all appreciated.

We recently had our precious kitten spayed at the Shubie Clinic, and we’re extremely pleased with the experience (certainly more than she did I’m sure(lol)). The experience, from the office staff to the wonderful vet and assistants, they were compassionate, caring individuals who display their love for animals and their humans. I would recommend this clinic for the care they all took with all of us. We are returning to The Shubenauche Fundy Clinic for care of all our little/big critters. We highly recommend this Clinic. My recent experience at Fundy Vet Truro was a very positive note at an otherwise very stressful time. Having a sick animal is like having a sick family member- Fundy Vet was quick to respond to my distress call, empathetic in their acknowledgement of my distress and our dog loved the vet's attention. We have used Fundy Vet Shubie for our large animal needs with 100% satisfaction and even though Truro is a good hour away, will be using them for our small animal needs from now on.

I have never had a bad experience with Fundy vets, Shubie location. The receptionists are always willing to listen and give the best advice they can when I call to ask questions about my 2 dogs. The veterinarians take the time to listen to my concerns and be patient and gentle with my 2 anxious pups. They always call a few days after a visit to make sure things are going well. Can’t say enough good things about the entire staff team at Fundy. Recommend 10/10

The staff at Truro Fundy Vets got my dog in for his booster shots quickly and efficiently, sight unseen, while I waited in the lot for his checkup. I bring all 3 of my cats here. It's worth the trip for me from Cole Harbour for the friendly staff and service. And I'll be honest, unlike alot of vet clinics, this one won't gouge you. They're practical. A local vet practice to me wanted to charge me 75$ per cat to give them a general checkup during one vet appointment so the could prescribe worm medication. Funny Vet Ltd was a little more practical and charged us for one visit and checked all 3 cats at once, and then the medication was cheaper than it would have been at the local clinic anyway. Sure, it cost me 20$ in fuel to travel back and forth, but the service, makes the principle of going out of my way worth it. So, that's an honest review.

Dr.Jane Eye and all the staff have always been there for us on our journey with the health problems of our dog Kasper. Even with short notice , they have been able to fit us in to their busy schedules for an appointment and Jane has gone above and beyond to follow up with specialists and a shout out to the staff for calling us to find out about his progress. All of the staff at Fundy are very nice, professional and know what theyre doing! My cats usually see Dr. Eye, she is very kind and takes the time to explain procedures, quotes etc. Even though I declined to have a procedure done on one of my cats last week, they discounted other procedures I had done and sent me with a free bag of veterinary food which will help my cats health in the future. Great clinic to bring your big or small animal to! Highly reccomend
