Mixed emotions started off by having u move our time which no big deal. Go there and macs had h is shots but they seemed to be scared to give him his chip , concerned about this he is just a medium dog ,now have to take him back and traumatize him again

Extremely friendly staff. The Doctor was very polite and inquisitive; she took the time to ask lots of questions about our pet's issue. My cat's not fond of new people, but she and the vet-tech were capable of manipulating her for her nails to be trimmed without issue. Great experience, really reasonable prices.

I somehow mistakingly wrote the wrong review about this place of business confusing it with Companion Veterinary Hospital in Cole Harbour. The Eastern Passage Veterinary Hospital is an excellent place to take your fur babies to be taken to. The staff is amazingly welcoming and happy. They genuinely care about your loved ones and give excellent care. I cannot recommend this place enough for your pets. They are well knowledge and certainly make you feel more than welcome when you enter this place of business.

I was able to get a same-day appt. Staff VERY friendly! Able to get lab results right away as they have a lab on-site. I would highly recommend them! When I advised I had a dog with anxiety in meeting new people and being in new places, they knew just what to do to help ease her fear!

What a fabulous veterinary hospital! Took our older cat here the other day for treatment, and I can't imagine a kinder, more compassionate, helpful group of people, from the friendly front counter staff, to the patient, tolerant technicians, to the doctor (Levangie) who treated her. Getting a phone call from this outfit to check on my pet a few days after the visit was an unexpected, but very welcome surprise. Their rates are reasonable, and various treatments (including the costs involved) are thoroughly explained, without judgement. I will highly recommend this vet clinic to family and friends.

Love this place I will always bring my cat here and buy all prescriptions for my cat here, always felt comfortable going here even after my cat attacked a vet, I felt so bad but they were so professional about it and made me feel at ease bout it. Our first visit to this clinic could not have solidified our decision to move him to this location more! From the second we were greeted I felt comfortable leaving our dog, Reese, there despite past experiences of fear aggression at a different vet. Our dog came face-to-face with a porcupine last night and with no prior appointment he was taken in right away at store opening. Kim was a pleasure to deal with and we feel in good hands. This place has the best veterinarians and staff anywhere. Excellent with pets and their owners. My cat has stayed at the Seaside Cat Kennel (part of their building) while I was away and he was treated like a little guest....they also have a cam so you can check in on your pet. Prices are reasonable and the care is excellent.

I like the fact that they will give you a personal tour of the hospital to show you where your pets will receive their care. I find the cost of treatment very reasonable compared to previous clinics I have gone to in the past. I would highly recommend Eastern Passage Vet.

Honestly started out loving this vet clinic. The staff are incredibly friendly, they do seem professional and great at what they do. In December of 2019 I had to bring my cat in for a sedated shave to get rid of mats. We had her in Oct 2019 for her first exam with them. Fast forward to last week we needed to get her in again to clean up her mats as they were getting bad again and she doesn't allow us to handle her carefully enough for it to be safe to cut away on our own. In December they required blood work before proceeding with sedation. It was overall relatively expensive but they told us next time it would be cheaper as we would just be paying the sedation and shave. Last week when I called them they informed me I would need to pay for the sedation, shave, blood work and an annual exam. When I inquired about the annual exam the girl told me it would be due in a little over a month so in order to proceed with the sedation and shave they need to look her over (early) first. They also told me they need to do blood work every time even though last time I was told I wouldn't need the blood work. Not to mention the blood work I have is only 9 months old and my cat is young. I shouldn't be forced to move my annual exam early, the worker said it wasn't due for at least another month so why would I need it to proceed with her shave now? Doesn't show they care much. Not impressed and in the process of moving all my animals to a new vet clinic. New clinic I talked to said at her age 9 month blood work is more then fine.

Very bad experience with Levangie, She billed for the same vaccine twice, and way worse than that she was inconsistent in her assessments, changing words between two appointments, which played on hand of insurance (so they would decline a claim if one was placed, which she did not even say we should try). A good vet would also follow up just by calling next day to check if an assessment was not conclusive. Switching to a different vet or clinic.

Today our family was faced with the most difficult situation every pet owner dreads...the day we must say goodbye to our beloved. We adopted our cat Pumpkin from Village Vet 13 1/2 years ago, and even though they were not our regular vet, today they embraced us to bid him farewell. Our journey began and ended with them. The compassion, empathy and professionalism expressed by Dr Butler and staff was so much appreciated, it made a horrible situation peaceful. I went to this animal hospital to put my family dog sleep tonight, and I could not have imagined a better experience. It was so peaceful. Dr. Pollard was so kind and compassionate. We truly felt like she really cared for our dog, and for us through the whole interaction. We had alot of mixed feelings putting our dog down, despite knowing with her condition it was time. But Dr. Pollard really tried to be the person she needed when putting her animals to sleep, and gave us the reassurance we needed. Being informative, respectful and patient with us, will always color this tough experience as the best it possibly could be. You truly welcomed us, and our dog as a member of your own family. After our own vet wouldn't get us in after our dog injured her leg we went to eastern passage village vet. They were able to squeeze us in right away. We were met with incredible compassion and care from the whole team. In the end after much anguish based on her age and the fact her other hind leg already had multiple surgeries and wasn't up to supporting her, we made the heartbreaking decision to put her down. Once again the entire staff showed us nothing but understanding and compassion. Allowing Millie to pass in peace. We forever be grateful. Words will never be able to capture how much it meant to us.
