Great vets - have had positive experiences with all three animals. However - last visit I inquired about a motion sickness pill. I was informed that the pills were $10 each, ludicrous as it is. As we all know dealing with motion sickness with a puppy can be absolutely brutal. On purchasing the two pills I was charged $49 taxes in. Apparently a $23 prescription fee is added to that order of $20. ($43+tax). If I was a one-off customer, I could understand it. The fact that I have been bringing my three animals there to be fully vaccinated etc. I think it's quite ridiculous. The pills cost $9-25 for four at cost - depending on weight. I think your margins are fine without the extra $23 for your Signature.

So friendly and clean. Love the facility upstairs for training, etc. Seperate entrance for animals that are nervous. Amazing kennels for overnight patients. A very well thought out hospital.

I was referred here by somebody who Fosters animals and so I was quite sure before I got there that this place would meet my needs but once I did show up, babies in tow, they just made me feel like a part of the family immediately. Not helpful at all! Barely looked at my dog he had a hot spot that escalated to maggots on his arm that they denied happened. Took him To a different vet in the area and they said maggots definitely came from the hotspot. The other vet cleaned his cuts and actually helped him. I know it's the only bad review and possibly an off day but that's the truth.

Just moved to the area and added a new cat to the family. Turns out, she had a tapeworm! Called the clinic and was able to be seen that day by a tech for parasite treatment. My poor girl was scared, but the tech and reception staff were all very friendly. The visit was super quick and I was able to buy a new toy and the medication at the same time.

Shout out to Eastern Passage Village Veterinary Hospital for the recommendation and congratulations to East Hants Veterinary Hospital on their openin'. Sherlock (cat) seemed to really like it here, he was so well behaved for the tech and the doc, he made me look like a crazy cat lady for all my concerns ????. Sherlock is on the mend, goin' back for a check-up in a week and lookin' forward to it!

The staff here are amazing! After bringing my dog in for the first time last year for an exam and some vaccines, this vet has been my go-to for everything. I make sure to bring her in for her nail trims and to get her ears cleaned as well. They've always been gentle to my dog as well as kind and patient to me as they have even taken the time to show me how to clean her ears myself and gave me an information sheet along with the lesson. My dog loves everyone here and gets excited to come in, the staff spoil her with pets and treats and we've never once had a problem bringing her here. I've also gotten quick appointments every time I've called! Can't wait for the next trim so Bailey can see all her friends at the vet! ????

This is a great place to have your animal cared for. Very clean, with clear expectations sent to you beforehand. Also, doesn't appear to do any unnecessary procedures which keeps the bill low. My cat was calm the entire time.

Fantastic experience bringing my beloved yet stubborn old dog in for a check up and nail trim! She had a stomach issue as well and the Dr really took her time with the checkup and gave my girl a chance to warm up to her a bit. All the staff were very warm, friendly and welcoming and the cost was so reasonable! I am very pleased and will be returning for future needs for my doggos! Thank you!

Since we got Robbie, our two year old Standard Poodle, he's been cared for by Crystal and her amazing team at East Hants Animal Hospital. They have a beautiful, modern, super well equipped facility, with instant lab results. For me, I couldn't ask for more. For Robbie, it's like having the best Healthcare in Nova Scotia.
