Very pleased with the consideration shown for my very nervous dog. She had been terrified at another clinic do much so, getting her weighed (being a huge Great Dane) had been almost impossible. The staff were so attentive and put her at ease, we had little difficulty. Never seen her as calm at the vets and Dr. West was thorough and patient/ kind which made the whole experience go so much more smoothly. Truly appreciate when a vet drops the "professional distance" manner and shows care for my dogs well being. So refreshing to be talked to like I had a brain, and answering questions without the impatient attitude I've gotten elsewhere. Came away with a reasonable plan for treating my dog with minimal stress on her. A huge achievement for a giant nervous dog

Great vets just wish there was a program to help persons with disabilities that rely on there pets for emotional support and some Medical support or both. Cats do not qualify for governments 150$ a month towards there care where as dogs pigs etc can be labeled a therapy pet if demonstrates its abilities yet even though my cats saved my life on numserous occasions I can not have her recognized as a therapy pet . and being disabled unable to work I can not afford the care she needs. She's saved my life so many times and wish I could save hers if needed be.

Dr Dubeau is worth his weight in gold. You can tell he’s passionate and really cares about the animal. After having another vet at the clinic treat my cat for crystals, only to have him come home the same as when i dropped him off, Dr Dubeau treated him, on a weekend, and made sure he didn’t leave the clinic till he was feeling how he should be. A day later, he’s running around the house and playing with his toys like his old self! Will be asking for him specifically from now on for sure!

The staff are nice, and great at explaining things and answering questions. The wait times are quite long though, if you are going for an appointment or pickup, make sure you have given yourself plenty of time to sit and wait as even if there is no one else there, you will still be waiting awhile.

I have had great experiences with all of my animals here. I thank and appreciate the veterinarians here. I trust them with my fur babies. They are now letting my cat die after offering me help with funding for dental surgery and then retracting the offer and giving the funds thay had already offered me, to someone else. They've let me pay 100 dollars per month for antibiotics but won't give him the surgery and accept the 100 per month as payment even after I've paid every bill they've allowed me to charge in the past. The don't care about my cat, they care about the money and they told me he's going to die unless you pay the whole surgery up front. I'm lost.

Went to get 2 cats fixed they couldn't putthem on the same day even with 2 weeks notice they then scheduled stitch removal we got half way to the vet and they called to reschedule. We were already almost there so they decide not to show up for my cats appointment that they scheduled. If I didn't show up on time I sure they would have charged me ....why can't I chare them for asking my time?

Extremely disappointed with the level of professionalism shown by the ladies at the front desk. Every time I have called I have been spoken to condescending and rude. They don't even keep good records of when your animals have been there, causing massive headache. There seems to be absolutely zero communication between the veterinarians and the customer service staff. I will say that despite not ever seeing the same vet twice here my two cats surgeries went well, and I am grateful for that. However the front desk staff have made it so difficult and uncomfortable that I will be finding a new vet and not coming back. My poor kitten has been having an allergic reaction for weeks that a vet has already seen, and they will not give her the medication she needs. They keep trying to force me to buy flea treatment when they have been treated for six months and there isn't a flea to be found. I have never written a google review before but I am so mad at this place. Spend your money literally anywhere else.

We go to Dr. Simms. She is truly amazing. Thorough and kind and so incredibly helpful. We had our baby girl pass a bit ago and Dr. Simmd exhausted all options to try to help save her. We now have a new Chinese crested baby girl and she has been so excellent with her. I trust her with my babies any day. All the staff are such amazing helpers also and make you feel so welcomed. You always know your pets are so safe and in the best possible hands here. Which is the assurance you need as they are just like your own children. ????

Our first appointment here did not go as well as I had liked, we were grateful to get a appointment as soon as we did but it was for 11oclock and we were not seen by the vet till 12 .also it was a exam which the exam paper was not properly filled out or completed or signed by anyone.

The level of care and attention the staff have towards animals is just amazing. And the amount of care and compassion they have towards the pet owners speaks volumes on their sense of character. On my last visit I witnessed the very sad moments of a woman bringing in her recently passed pet, and the way the staff handled her situation warmed my hear entirely. It's never easy to go through that, but these folks are here for you when the time comes. Amazing people through and through, I'm very confident in bringing my dog to them.

Front staff are not organized. They were 6 ladies standing around while clients were waiting for help. Dr. Roberts and dr. West are excellent veterinarians ,they are experienced knowledgeable and compassionate. If it wasnt for them I wouldn't go there at all. I ended up paying for two sets of needles after I called and was told by the front end staff that I didnt need any more needles until the following year. Come to find out my pupoy did require one more set so I had to start over again with the needles and they wouldn't compensate me for their mistake.

While cutting our birds toe nails, my son accidently cut a little below the quick and she was bleeding quite profusely. My son was visibly upset. We arrived at the Clinic and they were quick to take her in and help stop the bleeding. They sent us home with two sticks of nitrate to stop the bleeding again if it should start. The vet sent us on our way, without charge, my son was relieved to have his beloved Bantam; healthy and safe. I simply, couldn't thank them enough for all they did to reassure my son and provide the best care for our Bird. I highly recommend Cornwallis Veterinarians.

Dr. George West was fantastic with our cat April. We expected scratching and fur flying as she hates to be held or picked up. She was calm the whole time. I think he is the cat whisperer. The rest of the staff was very friendly. It was nice to be able to get an evening appointment, not only for our work schedule but because there were no other animals there when we went in.

Dr. Kim Barkhouse treated Bailey, our Golden Doddle (10 years) for a torn ACL. The operation went very well. She is a very caring and a skilled Vet. Dr Barkhouse follow up with Bailey was incredible. She had us bring him back every month to check his progress. Bailey is back to his old self. The team at Cornwallis were great. Normally Bailey has been very nervous going to the Vet Office. But not Cornwallis Vet. He is at the door trying to get in when we get there. Oli is another wonderful Vet at Cornwallis caring and always available for questions. Great team, wonderful caring place. We love Cornwallis Veterinarians. We have always been treated with respect from the initial greeting when we walk through the door to the informative interaction with the veterinarian and the casual, friendly conversation as we leave. The staff and doctors take a true interest in our pets and show real compassion. A couple of years ago our middle aged cat had developed a lump. Dr Roberts performed the surgery to remove the growth. He contacted us shortly after the surgery to discuss his findings and recommendations. We certainly appreciated his promptness with letting us know our little, four legged, furry, family member was going to be OK.

Many years ago, I used another vet clinic, but one day on an emergency basis, Dr. Hamlin saw my pug on very short notice. Best decision I ever made as CVL is very professional, helpful and reasonably priced. I use various Vets there and can not say enough on how awesome this clinic is. Dr. Barkhouse is amazing with my bigger dog. Through the advice of Dr. Hamlin, my border collie lab has gone from a very anxious dog to a much more relaxed dog. If you are not going to this clinic then you are going to the wrong place!! CVL keep up the amazing work

I've never once gone to this vet with my animals and had a poor experience. All the vets we've seen over the years have been kind and caring and so good with all my pets. They've looked after guinea pigs and cats for me so far but I would trust them with any of my animals at any time. Each time I've gone they've been able to find out what's wrong and did exactly what needed to be done to make my babies feel better without unnecessary add ons that add more money to the bill. Prices are reasonable too. 10/10 would definitely recommend!!
