The experience was fantastic. As my husband said....."Does Dr. Larkin also do children?" She's just the best! Takes her time, provides great advice. After being through a few clinics that haven't provided great service, I always say to my fur-babies "the drive is a little further, but it's SO WORTH IT!" I was very impressed with our first visit to this vet. The doctor spent 15 minutes talking to me after she did an exam on my dog and answered all of my questions thoroughly. It is wonderful to have found such a caring practice near our new home!

I have been visiting this vet with Marley's Hope Foster Dogs for the past 6 months and they have been absolutely amazing. Recently, I had to visit for a pet of my own. Unfortunately, we had to say goodbye to our furry friend and while it was devastating, everyone we encountered at Complete Care was absolutely amazing throughout the experience. We left feeling sad but at peace and overwhelmed by the kindness of the staff. As if that wasn't incredible enough, I just came home from work to find a personalized condolences card from Complete Care with signatures and notes from all the staff. I have never in my life been so blown away by a business. If you're looking for a vet you can trust to take care of you and your pets like family, you have found it. I live in the North End of Halifax and I would drive even further than I do, if it meant service and support like this. Thank you so much Complete Care.

Absolutely awesome place, the girls at the front are so good to my dog, and Dr. Larkin is a top notch vet. She listens very we'll my concerns and I feel she truly has my dogs well being in mind. Let's face it, that's what it all comes down to.

Moss had a great visit during his annual check-up, he didn't even meow when he got his vaccinations! With so much conflicting "advice" available on the internet, we'd especially like to thank Kayleigh for demonstrating the proper way to remove a tick during a quick drop in about a month ago. Dr. Larkin and staff take the time to know my dogs and follow up with any care. I do need to book extra time when scheduled for a visit because the wait is sometimes longer than I like but once Dr. Larkin arrives, she spends the time she needs to in order to make sure she fully understands the problem; to examines Jake and/or Chaunka; and to explain fully her findings to us. I know that someone else is waiting behind us but we never feel rushed. Dr. Larkin takes the time to answer all our questions.

I have three critter housemates ( two black cats and a large dog) who all come to the Sheet Harbour clinic. Recently, Widdershins cat got bit by a wild animal. The wounds were seen to by Dr. Morrison who reassured me, gave Widdershins an antibiotic shot, told me what to watch out for in terms of infection and understood my cost of treatment concerns. He's healing up beautifully. Sybil Gypsy has been seeing Andrew since her first new puppy visit, through her spay and shots. The Vets here are patient about answering questions and concerns and are clear in their instructions for care. Salem has also seen them since he was a tiny kitten and is looking forward soon to his next shots and to being told that he's too roly-poly for his own good. I would recommend this clinic to anyone in the area. It is SO much less stressful to not have to drive an hour and a half with three wee beasties for their health care.

Incredibly caring, gentle, understanding, compassionate staff. We have brought our two little dogs to Dr Larkin for years. She is amazing. We would recommend fully. Not a single bad thing to say. We have been to many vets, even a vet who 'specialized' in one of our dog's breed and they were not able to diagnose her with anything. Dr Larkin was able to pinpoint the disease and our dog is currently being treated. On our first visit with Dr Larkin she got on the floor to interact with our small dogs so they would be put at ease. Wonderful experience. Outstanding service!!! Keep up the fantastic work! ????

Dr Larkin is amazing, been taking my 10 yr old shepherd to her since she was a puppy (my 2 year old shepherd loves it here too) They are very accommodating to her "issues" and non judgemental which I sincerely appreciate and is hard to find in a vet and staff. Highly recommend Dr Larkin :)

Everything with our visit was just fine. The offering of something to drink while I waited was a nice gesture, But I felt bad that Blue just doesn't like to cooperate for his exam and makes everyone have to be on the floor to do it. Everyone is so accommodating and will go out of their way to do what ever they have to do to get it done. Wouldn't change a thing. And I hope their emergency patient is doing OK.

Rosie had an awesome visit. She was a little nervous at first but once they opened up the toy drawer she came out of her shell. Dr. Larkin was terrific. Gave Rosie a thorough exam and a mostly clean bill of health. Very happy with the service.

Terrible experience, only once I went to burnside animal hospital did I realize what true pet care looked like so if you want a real vet who is knowledgable and compassionate go there. I was treated in a condescending nature by the technician on multiple occasions and even requested to speak to the manager Tom on the subject. I recieved a call the next day from the manager SCREAMING at me through the phone, calling me abusive towards his staff and insulting my proffesionalism and integrity. It's quite evident that they will protect their own regardless of the customer experience, and are willing to forgo all sense of professionalism to call me at 830 AM to scream at me like a child and make false alagations of abusive behavior. Well complete care - you've lost the business of myself along with multiple other individuals in the area because of this, my only regret is giving trust in you in the first place. my cat is in critical condition over the operation you did over a month ago. Its unfortunate that I didnt know about the skill that practically every vet has over you. And to top it all off, they charge more then the skilled vets in the city. Do yourself a favor, if you care about your pet - dont bring him or her here.

I brought my cat in because she had a spot on her eye. Dr. Andrew Morrison was excellent. I told him I did not have a lot of money, but that I loved my cat, and he was very understanding. He provided amazingly gentle and compassionate service to my cat. I can tell he is in it for the animals first. Overall amazing experience on that visit. I highly recommend Dr. Andrew Morrison, as he is care-first, profit-second, as it should be in a profession that provides life-saving services. Also, Amanda, their veterinary nurse, is incredible as well. I've never met someone so passionate about animals and their well-being.

Love the staff and Dr Larkin here! They are amazing with my crazy, hyper and huge German shepherd puppy. Where most other veterinary hospitals I have dealt with before have been nervous of certain dog breeds or personalities but everyone here treats my baby like a baby and that puts him right at ease and me too! I absolutely love how Dr Larkin takes the time to explain everything and talk about concerns etc. Very highly recommend!

Love the Vet’s themselves. However the reception staff can be quite rude. The tell you your total will be whatever then you have a balance on your account and you don’t know until it’s too late. Attitude with the staff is gross. They use to be really good but I found another vet now and will not go back. I know a few other people that got ripped off. They are money grabbers. Quite slow as well. Sometimes more then an hour and a half behind. Call your clients and tell them your behind instead of them traveling far just to sit there waiting when they could be doing something else!!!!

I love Dr Larsen! She and the other woman at complete care always go above and beyond to show kindness and care to our cats and to us. She takes her cues from the animals and gets results. I’ve slso been there for loss in the past and those moments although devastating for me we’re handle with kindness and dignity. I would highly recommend complete care. I believe they even do home visits where needed! ????

The first thing you notice is how clean and well-kept the facility is when you walk in. The staff are all very friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Larkin have a good bedside manner for both pets and their owners. Overall I think we've yet I high level and quality of care.

From the day Marleys Hope Dog rescue introduced me to my now Amazing vet Complete Care I went through a few vets that didn't seem to care and rushed everytime. I swear I'm a huge animal lover with 3 dogs a bunny and a mini potbelly pig! When I switched vets I was amazed and I mean amazed by the care Dr Larkin and her staff put into not only my dog but me! I was and still am treated like royalty. Ya ya you might think I'm full-on BS but it was the best thing I ever did and at the time I lived in Dartmouth! The staff are insanely amazing there's no words! I mean it they are crazy awesome. Today I went in with a sick dog,I was early and the rooms were filled (not normally a wait time! )I said nw I'm early I'll wait until I see someone come out. 5 min later (I forget her name but should know it!) The front end beautiful girl comes out to say she's sorry it will be 5 more min (not even my time yet) would you like a coffee?She come out in winter to my car!!! They are so caring they make you and your animal family members feel like your all that matters! And they have to do this how many times a day? Always make me feel like I'm the only one there! I couldn't do there job and have huge respect! Dr Larkin is clearly a leader and not a boss because her staff shows it everyday! .This is family not a vet! My cat is an older guy and really doesn't travel well . So, I decided to try complete care as they are just a few minutes away. Their pet side manner blew the vet I had been using out of the water....I believe they will be our new vet. And to top it off, the office visit is a good deal cheaper than others. Great care for less money. Highly recommend them to anyone!!

Want to take your extended family to a Doctor who really cares? Not one simply out for a paycheck? The staff here are where to go then! From the first greeting to the billing, the service was awesome. Then there's Maggie, my dog that HATES the vet...even she likes the staff . Couldn't ask for more.
