I used to take my dog to this location years ago, I found the owners to be rude, and not accommodating to issue that came up due to weather related delays. I always tell people to stay away from there and take their dogs to jollytails or other dog daycares. As for the staff themselves I never had an issue and from what little I saw on the cameras my dog seemed to active and had no issues. I truly believe this business needs to have a review and its practices observed as there is more complaints then positive messages.

Basically Disney World for dogs. The staff are amazing and the care for the dogs is evident. We never have to worry about leaving our pup here whether it's for a few hours during the day or for a week, we know she's going to be well looked after. Staff know every dog by name and are always sure to give honest feedback about your dog's day - when they're having a good time playing and when they're getting into trouble trying to organize a prison break.

Really like that the dogs are allowed to mingle and not kept in their kennels all the time and that there is someone with them all the time while they do so. Spacious kennels also. John, the owner, is very friendly and seems to genuinely care about the dogs and how the place is run.

John, Maureen and their staff care - about the puppies and about the puppy parents. They greet us by name and they give us a little synopsis of the day our puppies had in their care. I like that small dogs and large dogs are separated, that they can go outside, and that they have a pool in the summer. And air-conditioning! I always know that my puppy is in good care with them and I always know that they will do anything I ask them to do. I have recommended Camp Bow Wow to many, many people and several have used their services and love them as much as we do.

The staff at Camp Bow Wow were excellent. They have seen my dog before and were excited when they saw her again. They remembered her name and the little quirks she has. I felt extremely comfortable leaving my dog there and am looking forward to her next visit.Being able to look in on your dog via the cameras that are set up is also fantastic as you can see how your dog is interacting with all the other dogs and see how happy they are.

Everyone at Camp Bow Wow is always super kind to my precious pup and I. It's a "home away from home" where Hunter has a tonne of fun and is cared for with so much love. From day to day, I love that he's not stuck in a crate at home while I'm at work but being cared for by attentive camp counsellors and having fun with his friends. Extra bonus is that my very energetic dog is worn out and ready to snuggle at the end of the day. And when I have to be away for longer periods, it means so much that I can travel without worrying and everyone will keep me updated on how he's doing. Thanks to everyone at Camp Bow Wow!

Kona had her first day at camp on Tuesday and I can't say enough good things about it!! I was so touched with how the workers treated her as their own. When I picked her up at the end of the day and was handed a booklet with a write up/pictures of her first day it made my heart smile :) If you're ever wondering about a place to leave your dog for a few hrs to run around and have some fun this is the place! It was all very last minute and I needed to find a daycare that would look after my dog, since his regular routine is to go 3 times a week.The staff at Camp Bow Wow were very helpful in getting me an orientation appointment in a timely manner. They answered all my questions as well!I liked watching the webcams to see how my doggy was doing during the day. It made me happy to see how much fun he was having playing with other dogs. Well I was nervous at first bringing Rosko but I had so many good things about Camp Bow Wow. Rosko's first visit was short because he was a bit scared. The second was better, so was the third visit. I’m writing this review for my love of animals, specifically dogs. If you have gone to this facility, I encourage you to report your experience to the Bad Business Bureau and make a claim with Small Claims Court. This establishment should NOT be in business. When deciding where my rescue dogs (one that is special needs) were going to attend daycare in the area, I came across CBW on Google, and by the look of their well-designed website, I immediately put them on the list as one of my top choices. However, with further research, luckily, I chose Jollytails as it was closer to me and much better recommended word of mouth wise! Looking back at this and seeing all the allegations on Facebook, I am so glad I trusted the facts, talked to people, and did further research before taking my fur kids to CBW. Needless to say, I AM SO HAPPY I chose Jollytails for my dogs, as they tend to my special needs dog with so much love and do whatever they can to make their facility a safe and happy place. Also, the owner is extremely friendly and the staff is AMAZING! I can confidently say that Nova Scotia has a VERY strong dog community, and I believe with all of our power that we can help the dogs, families, and employees that have been abused and neglected by the owners of this facility.

John is unfit to run the Camp Bow Wow business. What I’ve read online in recent days only confirms and backs up what I’ve experienced. My dog was ridden like a horse at Camp Bow Wow by an employee. It was witnessed on video and in the days and weeks following he had severe hip and back end problems from the employee putting their weight on him unnecessarily. It was so bad we had to take him to the emergency vet in PEI where the vet asked us if he had been hit by a car. All John did was blame the employee when he could, downplay what happened and was throwing legal paperwork at my parents showing them they had signed an agreement not to say anything negative about this business. Well he did’t get my signature. He did pay half of the vet bills, while refusing to take any responsibility. After seeing his narcissistic post online defending himself, Ive decided to speak out. Let’s keep the truth flowing, I will be contacting the SPCA and the police regarding animal cruelty. I have a video, even though it’s years old it backs up other employees statements and contradicts the owners claims of a solid reputation….

When my dog is at Camp Bow Wow he is greeted at the front door by name. He always smiles at the workers there with his doodle smile. He is always happy and playing. There is always a worker in the play yards with the pooches !!! I even can watch him on their web cams !!! Over nights are also amazing and knowing Chili Doodle is safe and well cared for eases our guilt of not taking him with us !! Thanks CBW !!!

Camp Bow Wow has saved us many times in a pinch where we need to find a place to board out two crazy pups. Not only are they extremely professional, friendly and convenient, but the price is great as well. Our Cattle Dog is an absolute troublemaker, full of energy, but they handle him well at Camp Bow Wow and he loves going. We are weekly customers and hope to be for a long time. Great for day care, boarding and they are also the only place that successfully trims our dogs nails.

I also know that the people who work there care about the dogs and they always ask about my pet and make me feel welcome when I come to drop my pet off or pick him up.
