Great experience for Sammie's first visit to Dr Barry, he's the man when it comes to Great Danes. Staff is super friendly and Sammie was completely at ease. Lots of room in the main area meant there was space for multiple doggies and not getting into each other's faces.

Best feline vets in the city. One doesn't always get the best outcomes when dealing with sick pets but they're compassionate all the way through. Never felt like they sugar coated or shorted us on options and treatments. Very thorough examinations and they took our concerns seriously. Top notch care and so many services are available from right here if you need them. It's just a great place to bring your pets and be confident they're being treated right and are going to get what they need from qualified professionals who care.

We love them. The staff is so amazing, and Dr. Thompson is the best vet I've ever been to in over a decade of owning my dog (All the vets there are great that we've seen) We go at least once a month for a check up to make sure my pup is doing well with her conditions, and to make sure her kidneys are still doing okay. They always make room for us, are so kind to us and understanding. We had a hard time finding a place that could offer me all the care/help we needed, but it's such a relief that we did. When you're in there, you're with people that care about your dog as much as you do. They didn't discount my dog because of her age, instead they work hard to help me keep her happy and healthy, which means a lot to me. When you're there, you're safe in a place where your animal will be taken care of.

You simply can't get better pet care anywhere. I go there specifically because I have greyhounds and their doctors are the most well versed I have found in that breed, which is a big deal (look up physiology for a Greyhound to find out why). They offer weekend and evening appointments, they're highly professional and best of all, my two monsters like them. They get the final say, and they've been treated like royalty there.

First time visit with our pandemic puppy. The techs and the vet understood that Ladybug was only use to contact with my wife and I. They did everything right to make sure she knew she was in a safe & friendly space. There are a lot of dogs who have missed out on a lot of socialization because of Covid and with places like Burnside Vet Hospital who understand this they will have an easier time going through it.

We followed our veterinarian, Dr Jessica Thompson, here when she left our previous clinic as we fell in love with not only her knowledge and beside manner but her love and care for our 5 (yup) cats. She's a feline specialist and her work ethic and knowledge match this clinic so incredibly well! We love the techs and receptionists care when talking about our pets health and care with them. Would highly recommend this practice!

Dr. Barry's hospital is the absolute best place to take your greyhound. (I'm sure it is top notch for other critters too, but greyhounds are special) All of the staff are wonderful and make both me and my dog comfortable. I wish I could add extra stars. Lots of pokespawns in the parking lot.

Five star customer service from the time they answered the phone. My Amstaff appeared to me to have an ear infection, I recently moved to the city so the travel to her regular vet did not make sense so I read reviews here and settled. The staff are over the top friendly, Tundra took to them right away, the tech that took swabe was perfect, Dr. Jessica McCarron took the time to answer a long list of how did this happen questions from dad, Tundra loved her, the place is super, super clean, we did not wait at all, we discussed prevention going forward as this was a first for my dog. I ended the appointment with I would be honored if you would be Tundras vet, its not often in my 50 years of experience as a dog owner that we receive this quality of treatment at a first visit. I cannot rave enough about Dr. Barry and Dr. Thompson!! Dr. Barry is so gentle with my cat, and so thorough in his examination and recommendations. I switched vets a number of years ago to come here, and I'm so glad I did. My 14 yo cat needed dental work, pricing was fair, and well explained. Dr. Thompson performed the surgery and has now followed up with me three times since, checking on Minnie to make sure she is healing and not having any problems. This clinic really cares, and I cannot recommend them enough :) <3

We love Dr. Barry, Dr. Jessica, and the rest of the staff here. As we adopted a grey hound, our choice of vets for the first appointment was picked for us. That is how we came to meet Dr. Barry and after that visit we switched to them full time for all our animals. This is in spite of driving an extra 15 minutes each way to get there. As long as they are open, we will take our pets there. I highly recommend them to everyone I talk to.

My Frenchie was so sick a few weeks ago and despite being very busy, they got us in a room and worked up within 30 minutes of arriving. Thank you Dr. Taylor! Spent a few nights at MAEC but doing much better now. Had a follow up yesterday with his regular vet (the amazing Dr. Miriam!!) since he's still not completely himself and everyone expressed their worry about him and were so happy he's feeling better. Dr. Miriam is always so willing to take the time to discuss the differential and make suggestions for investigations while still talking me down from unnecessary testing. She actively listens to my concerns (even if I think they're silly coming from my own mouth) and I always leave feeling validated and certain she would be doing no less for her own fur-babies. I have no reservations trusting this fantastic team with my boys health and well-being!!
