It had an accident on the bridge , I called to say I would be 10 min late , when got in front of the clinic they called to say they would not be able to take us , that's because it was just a vaccine . Very disappointing , I would understand if they had told me on the phone to change the date , but wait for me to park in front of the clinic to say the appointment is cancelled is very disrespectful , not professional at all. Not only that but they made me wait 30 min on the phone to say that they are not able to help me. Only after that another secretary called to apologize and offer another time, what was too late because I was driving back home. Not to mention that my baby was sick that day , she was crying all the way to go to the clinic and all to receive a call to cancel when I was in front of the clinic.

I have met Dr. Kim prior to her opening her clinic "Waterfront Park" as a recommendation by our primary veterinarian. She took the time to read up on our file and understand our dogs medical history. She has a caring, calm demeanour and goes above and beyond for her patients and families. When our dog was ill she explained all our options (also confirmed by our primary vet). Unfortunately, at 15.5 (large breed) it was time for our dog to cross the rainbow bridge. I cannot imagine having to deliver the news to a petparent but her staff handled it with outmost care and compassion. 6 months later still grieving I can honestly say I am grateful for how Doctor Kim and Staff handled everything. I have visited 2-3 clinics on the North Shore and this is without any doubts one I would return to and recommend to family and friends. PS. I have had the opportunity to see the back of the clinic it is immaculate, clean, bright, with all new equipment.

Dr. Kim treated my cat with a torn claw quickly and efficiently, didn’t even need to sedate my not very cooperative cat. The claw is growing back already within two weeks. The entire team is phenomenal, from Dr. Christine to the vet techs to the support staff. I feel so confident with the care my pets get here, and the service is next-level. There are so many little touches it’s hard to detail in a review—suffice it to say that as a client, your pets will be loved and cared for by the whole staff, you’ll be a more educated pet owner, and you’ll always have a team to call when you’re concerned about something. (The fact that our pup tries to leap through the clinic door for a visit whenever we walk past should speak for itself.) Highly recommend.

Highly recommended if you live on LOLO/NorthVan. My 10 yr old cat started vomiting all over the place last Friday- Saturday morning I called and panic-babbled the situation to Shyun. She listened every last sentence patiently and booked me an appointment. After we arrived everything went smoothly as well. So my cat had (still on-going but much better) acute pancreatitis. Dr. Chrisitne was so comforting from the beginning and very professional. The first x-rays and exam explanation was very thorough, pointing out current status of my cat clearly. Dani was especially helpful on the phone guiding the next step/procedures.We ended up visiting the clinic day after day and everyone was so inviting and helpful. A very big thank you to the team-!

My cat got a severe situation last month and we went to Waterfront park veterinary with him. Doctor Natalia gave him the best assistance we could ever get. She cared as if he was hers. All this love paid out and even our cat loves her back (belive me, he doesn't love anyone). I don't have enough words to thanks Doctor Natalia and all the staff for saving my cat's life and gave him love and attention during the time that he spent there. And a tip for brazilians, she speaks Portuguese ;)

Dr Kim is our favourite vet out of all that we have ever had. She is amazing with our animals, and with us, when we are stressed out because our pets are sick or injured. Beyond her high standard of care, she always goes out of her way to ensure that my wallet is as protected as my pets. Beyond highly recommended!!!

Dr. Christine and her team's quality of care is only matched by their wonderful kindness and empathy. My Nishi is afraid of most people after 8 years of abuse in a puppy mill. Yet she was immediately OK with Dr. Christine and Dani. She even she comes out with more tail curl than when she goes in - her sign of being relaxed. A rare first! Timely care is another bonus at Waterfront. Our first visit was an emergency. With on site blood testing, Dr. Christine was able to perform surgery within hours. I recommend the Waterfront Park Vet team for everyone but I especially recommend Dr. Christine and team if your pet has anxiety or fear challenges like my Nishi.

I brought my cat here for a check up a few months ago. It went well although I felt like I had to pull information out of the vet rather then her asking me questions and giving advice etc. Brought her back a second time for a shot which she had to be sedated for. The drugs didn’t work as well as they thought and they seemed quite overwhelmed and unprepared to deal with her. The staff were nice but I was a little shocked at the technicians reaction. I left thinking my cat was perhaps crazier than most but then I went to a different clinic specifically for cats and had a wonderful experience with providers experienced in the different temperaments of cats. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone who has a cat with a tricky temperament.

I've been a dog owner for 18+ years on the North Shore and have tried many different vets. I can say hands down Waterfront is the best vet clinic I've been to. We have a senior golden retriever who deals with persistent skin problems. Dr. Natalia has done wonders for him. She's very thorough and considerate, really takes time to listen to all of our concerns, answers all our questions, gives us lots of advice, and unlike most vets we've tried, she has actually successfully treated our pup multiple times. She is amazing at doing short term and long term treatment, and her treatments always result in a vastly improved quality of life for our dog. He is now in great shape thanks to her. The clinic's staff are super friendly, professional and supportive. Overall 10/10. Would highly recommend.

We were happy at the beginning when we started to going here with our cat, but we’re so disappointed lately. First, we went for vaccinations with our dog. Despite the fact we weren’t sure about lepto vaccine (a lot of side effects especially for small dogs) and even if we would decide for it we wanted to do it separately during next appointment, they gave it to our dog. It was too late to change it. Today we went there for a simple appointment, they asked us if we want also to get her nails trimmed. We said yes but were so shocked when we found out the cost is 30$ plus tax. I mean, seriously for a nail trim? Other thing is the lady at the reception is really rude. She said to my wife “ oh sorry no girl. It’s 30 plus tax”. Is this how you respond to your clients? We were expecting more from this place..

Maybe this place has been good to others than myself. My experience has been anything but good. It left a bad taste in my mouth. I was referred to go to this place because my usual vet on 16th and Lonsdale was fully booked. My 5 month old puppy's permanent teeth were growing and he had a case of loosies and was a bit gassy for a day. I took him to get his teeth checked too. The doctor came across more as a Walmart billing clerk than a vet where she was adding "Bloodwork", "X-Ray" and other items to my bill of sale on a computer within the consultation room. This was just 1 day into my puppy having diarrhea! An X-ray?! come on! I felt more like a cow waiting to be milked because I had insurance. I do understand that even a vet's clinic is a business and people need to be sustainably paid. We need to support our local businesses during times of Covid. However, if you want a customer who can pay, focus on building long term confidence than killing the goose right during the first consultation! My other vet asked me to feed him rice and chicken and my puppy was perfectly fine! Didn't ask for an X-Ray or Bloodwork! If the diarrhea continued beyond 2 days? I would definitely consider it. My consultation at waterfront was more about getting me to claim $600 from insurance rather than any genuine focus on my dog's wellness! This was an unacceptable experience.

Dr. Christine figured out my cat’s health problem that 3 other vets were not able to identify. She made the diagnostic tests very easy for me to have access to and at reasonable prices, where other vets made the process of having those tests done seem like hurdles too big to overcome. My cat is almost 15, and I’ve had him since he was 5 months old. He’s been my fuzzy companion through so many changes in my life, including becoming a mother. I believe Dr. Christine just gave me a handful of extra years to tell this cat I love him when he’s given me so much.

In a few words, all the staff is attentive and caring, and it makes you really feel like they'll do their best for your pet. All the procedures are explained beforehand with prices and options. The follow up is also great. They really call you to check on your pet after you've been back home for a few days! We love it, and more important, our cat love it too! Long, detailed version: We found the clinic googling a place that was open Sunday morning and was well rated to take our cat during an emergency. We were lucky to find Waterfront Vet Clinic that's close to our home and have the best reviews. Shyun, the front person, was extremely helpful and understanding on the phone and booked us an appointment for about half an hour later. In there, we met Dr Natalia, who heard what we were saying and after a cafeful examination, diagnosed our cat with a severe, life-threatening, urinary illness as we were suspecting. From there, all the following procedures were explained and priced beforehand, detailing all the what-if's and preparing us emotionally and financially for the next days. We felt that we and our pet were in good hands since the first minute. It's so lovely to see how Dr Natalia is so lovely with our pet, treating him as if he was her own cat and not rushing to the next patient as we've seen in other places. This place and all its staff is a jewel in veterinary care. I'd recommend it for everyone without a second thought.

I’ve registered to leave a long overdue review of Waterfront Park Veterinary clinic! Waterfront Park clinic has been my cat's savior during some very difficult times this past year. Dr. Natalia and Dr. Christine are two of the kindest and most helpful people I've ever met. To be clear: my cat is a pain in the rump. I love him, but the plump little dude has several serious medical issues (diabetes, allergies, etc.) that require a lot of time and attention. I have never been turned away from Waterfront vet, and they have been incredibly gracious to me in ways I can't even go into. One time my cat was acting sluggish. Unbeknownst to me, he was having a hypoglycemic event. I was seen that day and Dr. Christine was so incredibly calm as she took his glucose reading and advised me that my cat would need to be staying with them for the day to get his glucose back to normal. (Knowing what I do about feline diabetes now I have no idea how she was so calm and professional given his reading!) Dr. Natalia is another gem. She has an instinctive grasp with cats as to what might be wrong with them. She is uncannily accurate. My cat has a complicated medical history and she remembers important little details. Another huge help: I have a tight budget and, alas, to my knowledge there is no lottery win on the horizon. Both vets always reviewed treatment plans with zero pressure to spend ungodly sums of money. This really, really helps me out and I trust their recommendations as to what is considered important/essential vs what is *helpful* to have test-wise. They are also competitive with their costs and rates, especially given the time the spend with you. (I’ve never been rushed out or not had my questions answered.) And the support staff :D From the front desk, to behind the scenes: they are the best. Always kind, always helpful. I did not think I could ever give my cat an insulin injection twice a day but they patiently demonstrated to me how to do it (more than once) so I did not stab my cat to death or make him bleed out (apologies for the visual, ahem). It can be a stressful job to provide care for people’s pets. Their team does a darn good job and I am thankful for all of them.

The staff of this clinic are very knowledge and friendly. One of my cats had to have her teeth extracted last year. The clinic provided me with a quote in great details, including the best and worst scenario. The staffs were very knowledgeable and patient to help me to understand what would be done for my cat. On the date of appointment, the staff went through the procedure with me again before they started and answered all my questions. When I pick up my cat after the procedure, the vet explained to me in great detail on what had been done and gave me a lot of information on how to prevent that from happening again. Last month (Nov 2021), another one of my cats needed his a check up. I took him to Waterfront Park again and I had received the same great quality of service. The cat was not the nicest to strangers but the staffs were able to keep him calm the whole time. I would highly recommend their service.

Such an amazing vet and team! It is clear that Dr. Christine and her staff care about animal well being and comfort, and take care of your pet as if they were their own. My pup is always so excited to see them and to play with vet tech Dani! I've brought my puppy here for a couple of different health issues and her spay and they've always done an amazing job providing care and explaining aftercare and treatment options to me. They also call to check in after seeing you, which is great for follow-up questions and advice. As well, the facility is always spotless and they've been great about staying open in a safe way during COVID. I would highly, highly recommend this vet :)

But, after all, I didn't have to worry about anything. She treated him very nice and professionally, she solved my dog's ear problem right away, so my dog and I were very satisfied. Yesterday I stopped by Waterfront Veterinary Clinic to ask a few questions about our dog Jackie who was in serious pain. I was amazed by the immediate care and attention she received. Oscar and I have been seeing Dr. Kim for three years and have followed her to Waterfront Park Veterinary Clinic. Yesterday was our first appointment there. Oscar is a reactive dog so vet appointments are always a challenge. However I phoned the Clinic on Thursday night before the appointment to give them the heads up re Oscar’s challenges and they were ready for us. Dani the vet tech greeted us at reception, weighed Oscar in and lead us directly to the exam room which had been prepped with Adaptsil before our arrival. Dr. Kim was as amazing as she always is and Oscar was the best I’ve ever seen him during an appointment, taking treats and even exploring the exam room. When we left Dani was herding the next appointment into another exam room so we could have a stress free exit. I couldn’t have been happier with our experience yesterday. Dr. Kim has a lovely dog, Mike, who might be at the Clinic when you come visit. If you have a reactive dog just give them the heads up and they will make sure he isn’t out wandering during your appointment.

Rather then share one or two examples of how Dr. Christine Kim is a great vet which we all know can be biased based on a couple experiences in this online world, I will share why she is better then any other vet we've seen. We have a 14 year old Shiba Inu since she was a puppy and we've seen our fair share of vets across Greater Vancouver and had to deal with a wide variety of issues over this span of time. That said, we have a strong reference point to compare Dr Kim to and she is simply the best. The clinic is clean, modern and filled with professional staff. She gives each patient (and their Human) her 100% full attention and spends extra time explaining and communicating details about her patients' needs and care. Her new clinic is beautiful and immaculately clean. I feel so lucky to have Dr. Kim care for my furry family members, and our community is so lucky to have such a wonderful caring Veterinarian!
