I can not say enough good things about Dr. Raj, Laura and the Phoenix Rising team! This team truly CARES about your pet and you. I have always been skeptical and hesitant with vets as I feel many of them capitalize on our emotions for financial benefits. This is not the case with Phoenix rising, rather the total opposite. I have been seeing Dr. Raj for just under a year now as we got a puppy in May 2020. When we first got Hank, she spent over an hour analyzing his body, joints, movements, eyes, mouth, ears and more. Throughout the past 10 months, she has supported us through a bad dog attack, a chipped bone, a couple infections and more. I can confidently say she knows my dog and his medical history off the top of her head. She is VERY professional and knows when to pass you along to a specialist when she feels your dog could use a second opinion. She has gone out of her way multiple times to call me personally and check in when she has received files from an emergency vet or heard about surgeries through another practitioner (all without a cost). Both, Dr. Raj and Laura, have taken the time out of their very busy days to check in on me and how I am feeling, to coach me through natural home remedies or to even just answer my questions and chat some things through. As a new dog owner, many things have been stressful and overwhelming, however this team has provided me so much relief and comfort. In my eyes, this is the best team you can see in the greater Vancouver area as I feel they make decisions for your pet as if it were their own. I trust their opinions, I trust their motives, and I trust them entirely with my fur baby. They truly operate as a family and I am SO grateful to be apart of the Phoenix Rising family. Thank you for all that you do Phoenix rising!

THE BEST VET IN VANCOUVER! My dog hates going to the vet and usually b-lines for the door. However, we walked in and his tail was wagging and he actually had a fun visit and loved the vet! She was sooo good with him and earning his trust. Animals can pick up on energy and my dog knew right away. She cares about your pets and offers holistic practices so you get your pet well and she doesn't give prescriptions for no reason. This clinic is focused on wellness and the true healing of your pet. She's a vet and a healer and it's just sad that there are not more clinics around like this. I really can't put into words how happy I am to have found this place. So grateful! Your pets health is in the best of hands at this clinic. If your pet has any issues, she will figure it out, find it and solve it. I write this review of my own accord because of how happy I am to have found this clinic. Now I just hope my review doesn't make it too difficult to get an appointment haha bc they are rare!

Best place to take your pet! We were in a car accident with both our dogs in the vehicle. The injuries that my dog sustained dislodged my dog, Angus' spine, causing him lots of pain and the inability to use his hind legs. He was unable to walk and was in constant pain. Within just two sessions with Dr. Raj, Angus was back to walking and his pain significantly reduced. I would recommend Phoenix Rising to any pet owner. They are amazing and have changed not only my dog's life but mine as well!

This is the most amazing holistic vet clinic I’ve ever brought my cat to. Dr. Raj is a very special person and her staff are equally wonderful. I only wish I’d started bringing my 20 yr old cat to her years ago. She gave my highly anxious kitty Accupuncture and she fell asleep on the cushion. Highly recommend her to all animal guardians.

Miss Radica Raj brightened the room and warmed my heart as soon as I met her! I felt full trust and complete calmness with her, knowing that my little kitten is in the best hands possible! This clinic and her approach steer away from unnecessary pain for animals and she believes in a holistic approach, which is exactly what I was looking for! Everybody needs to switch vets and see her!❤️ Regular vets use drugs, needles, etc. and it breaks my heart... Dr. Raj doesn’t, and she heals animals in a much safer, healthier, much less painful way! ❤️ She was kind enough to offer to help do research for me about toxic plants for kittens, she let me stay in her office after the appointment so my kitten can feel comfortable while I was arranging a car ride back home, and the staff were SO kind and loving!!! I felt so loved and taken care of. Dr. Raj, the whole team, as well as the clinic itself, deserve 11 STARS!!! ⭐️

I have a 7 month old mini-golden doodle and I couldn't have been happier with our visit with Dr. Raj. We drove from Chilliwack to see her because we were told she was the best in British Columbia and she really is. Her philosophy is prevention, she answered all our questions and specifically about all the unnecessary vaccinations that actually lower your dogs immune system and decrease their life. I actually cried a few times and she said that's happens a lot in her office. She is the most caring, wonderful animal lover and our Lucy was so comfortable with her. I have taken my dog and cat here on separate occasions. Dr. Raj was very accommodating to each unique personality and had no problem getting down on the ground to ensure my pets were comfortable. My cat can be quite skiddish but to my surprise he felt comfortable in a new environment! My dog received accupuncture and it went well for the first bit but Dr. Raj understood and acknowledged that her muscles were too tight and the pain was too strong to continue. I appreciate Dr. Raj's knowledge of both traditional western and holistic medicine to come up with the most suitable treatments!

We feel safe bringing our pets here. Dr. Raj clearly wants the absolute best for all animals and takes her time to make sure our pets feel calm and relaxed before treating them. She is likely to attempt a holistic approach before moving on to more invasive treatments if necessary. All the staff at Phoenix Rising are very knowledgeable and have offered a ton of advice on many occasions. Initial visit was a bit expensive, but pricing is quite reasonable for the amount of care you get thereafter.

I took my dog to this practice because it was highly recommended by my regular vet at Vancouver Wellness in Vancouver. Dr Raj was professional, horrible BO, however, despite the fact that my dog medical files were forwarded well before our visit, she kept on asking questions that answers could have been found in his health history. She recommended change in his medication regiment without referring to his blood panel or performing a physical exam. The office layout at Phoenix Rising Integrative Veterinary Care is to be qualified as very luxurious (over the top), calming and inviting for many dogs. It was, for a moment, for my dogs, however, he went into a stress mode when he had to wait for such a long, excruciating pointless interrogation from Dr Raj sitting at a pretty desk while we were lying on a cushion on the floor, as mentioned before. Being 12 and suffering from Cushing Disease, liver cancer, arthritis, etc. the attentive staff intervention did not help much in calming his nerves. After 5 minutes of a stressful attempt to execute their acupuncture treatment, I suggested to leave the room as it may calm him down. 10 min later upon my return, my dog was panting, he was not responding in any shape of form to the medical treatments perform that day Nov 6th 2020. He was pinned down and restrained with the staff, our visit lasted from 15:15 to 15:40 (35 min). This practice has questionable knowledgeable in stress recognition. This is when I realize Dr. Raj and the staff was making time 60 min getting the full $300 for an impossible treatment. On several occasions Dr. Raj stated that they would be able to predict the outcome of the treatment. She repeatedly mentioned that their service is not for certain patient and that patient may seek care from a Canada West specialist. I thought she was a specialist. She kept on saying please call us back if you wish to continue treatment, I THOUGHT Dr have must follow up on patient after treatment. Once we got back home, my dog had lost the use of his hind legs because he had used so much of his strength to free himself of the treatment. I was present for 10 minutes of the process and I kept on thinking that can be right. My dog died not long ago and not necessarily because of this treatment. I did not have time to write a review until now. I write a review today because if your dog shows any sign of stress, non responsive to the treatment do not stay in your appointment leave without charge. Any treatment provided by this practice should be free of stress that is what their claiming the benefit of their trade mark. My dog was 12 show me how inefficient and damaging our visit was.

we have been with Dr. Raj for over a year now and we can proudly say she cares like no other Vet we have ever met. She always go the extra mile to make sure your baby is cared for and makes all efforts to do it in the least harmful way. She is integrated so she will use conventional methods if necessary and appropriate. But we love that she is holistic and treats the body from a whole system point of view. Instead of just covering up a current problem or issue like most conventional vet, she solves it by going to the root of it and treating it systemically. I wish we can have more vets like her out there ♡

My dogs and I are so happy and blessed to have found Dr. Raj! My two little chihuahuas had a great time at Phoenix Rising. Compared to the uncontrollable shaking and crying at other facilities. My dogs never allow anyone to touch them first time meeting, but she was able to without stressing them out at all. She has a lot of great knowledge and updated information about dog nutrition and health. There is no other vet in the lower mainland that can compare. I will not be taking my babies anywhere else from now on! We love you Dr. Raj!

Dr. Raj is the best! She gets right down on the floor with my dog every time and has such a calm, gentle demeanor. She takes the time to make my dog feel comfortable and actually listens to her. It's amazing to watch how she can communicate with animals through touch. She was able to help my dog's lameness with her more holistic approach when no other vet could. I couldn't recommend her enough.

She spent full hour playing and examining my dog and went over his health issues and how to move forward.
