Dr. Lang helped us with all three of our dearly loved senior cats when they’d each reached the end of their long lives due to various serious ailments. We all know how stressful a vet clinic is to a cat and we really wanted our last moments together to be in the comfort of our own home. We can’t thank you enough for your kindness and understanding, Your fantastic “bedside” manners, and going out of your way to help us. We were sobbing emotional wrecks every time but we’re so glad we called Pacific Comfort Vets. Can’t recommend highly enough.

I can not express how much we appreciate Dr.Lang. Our cat became very ill and always hated to go to the vet. When we discovered that our kitty had only very short life left, we decided to let him go from the comfort of our home. Dr.Lang was very professional,warm & kind that I felt very comfortable to ask him to support my baby to go to the heaven. He placed my kitty in a box with very nice blanket after and I felt that he really cared our kitty. We had the best peaceful situation we could create for our kitty and I am so thankful for Dr.Lang. I am still in deep sadness but also satisfied that we could send him very peacefully. Thank you very much for your service.

In February 2018 we received the devastating news that our dogs, Leo and Tina both had cancer. Sadly, Leo’s was so far gone we had to say goodbye in April. Although we had a date scheduled, 2 days earlier, I just knew Leo was ready to go that day... it was a beautiful sunny day. I called Dr. Lang and he agreed to come that evening. My husband, Tina and I were able to say goodbye while Leo lay in his favourite spot to guard outside, in our arms. The process was calm, full of memories we laughed and cried about, and Leo went to his final sleep while gently snoring, his giant head in my lap. Dr. Lang helped us with Tina’s palliative care until December when it was time to say goodbye. She had an amazing quality of life till the end, when Dr. Lang came to release her to the universe, with a peanut butter filled Kong in front of the fire. Again, saying goodbye was peaceful, filled with memories, tears and laughter. I also want to acknowledge the amazing respect Dr. Lang gives to our beloved family members. I hate to say it, but in the past, I have seen vets put dogs in garbage bags to take our dogs away... This always crushed me, it was so undignified and disrespectful. Dr. Lang does not. He put our dogs on a stretcher, with a blanket (and a toy) to transport them to cremation. This is the last image we need to see. Not our beloved dogs in a garbage bag. I can not say enough how Dr. Lang helped us, Leo and Tina, and others I know of. Dr. Lang makes the most painful day into one we can actually fondly remember... because saying goodbye to our loved ones in a peaceful, loving and gentle way is the best we can give them. They deserve nothing less... Thank you, Dr. Lang ???? ????

From our first consultation over the phone, to Dr. Lang being able to fit us in earlier than expected when it was needed, to the moment he left, I can’t say enough about how much easier Dr. Lang made this very difficult time. Especially with an unexpected diagnosis which cause us to act very quickly, it is so hard to feel like you’re making the right decision at the right time to put down your best friend, but he truly gave me comfort in knowing I did. He explained everything with exactly enough detail that everyone knew what to expect, even my young nephew who was very upset was put at ease thanks to Dr. Lang’s words. Thank you again. Everyone involved couldn’t have expressed more gratitude after we met.

Dr. Lang not only came to help our very sick dog transition after short notice, but he was absolutely caring and compassionate. He made a terrible thing as easy as it could be. I normally don't do reviews but Mark Lang went above and beyond. He came to our home to euthanize our beloved dog killer and he did a great job. He really cared about how comfortable she was and did everything he could to help her pass peacefully. He was so respectful to her. He even sent a hand written card to sent us his sympathies.
