We tried a couple different Vets on the North Vancouver before finally commiting to Happy Tails. From standard vaccinations to our Dog getting spayed, the Vet and his Staff have been amazing. Our dog actually loves to visit them. They are warm, welcoming and genuinely care about our dog. From the numberous check-up calls after her spay to the fact they are open on statutory holidays to help pet owners, speaks volumes for this Clinic. I highly recommend this Clinic.

We popped into this vet to pick up food for our puppy and received such fantastic, knowledgeable service that we actually moved our veterinary work to this vet (the same day). We scheduled a physical exam with Dr.Kamin Mamaghani who looked through all our past records and wanted to hear about all the history with our puppy. He was really understanding and very thorough and I was so pleased with it, he then offered me a little tour of their clinic and I have never seen a veterinary clinic so clean. It was an incredible set up with all brand new machines. We immediately booked our pup for a neuter and the assistant was super helpful, phoned me with regular updates (I think she knew I was a little nervous) and then the Vet himself phoned me and told me the good news. Our experience at this veterinary clinic was perfect. I wouldn't change a thing especially the people who work there. 10/10 for sure! HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Took my 9 week old pitbull pup in today for the very first time for her 2nd round of vaccines and had no issues at all. Roamed around the place no problem. I have been meaning to write a review for Happy Tails for around 8 months since our first visit! Having adopted 2 dogs who are normally nervous around new environments and people, the staff at Happy Tails were amazing from the start and continue to be wonderful with our dogs. They are gentle, calming, and very loving in their interactions with our dogs and always make it a very relaxed experience. The staff have exceptional customer service skills, knowledge and explain everything clearly. I enjoy dealing with everyone there. Very clean and welcoming space. We are truly and deeply grateful for Dr. Kamin and the rest of the staff for saving our cat and treating her so well, they're the best vet clinic we've ever found. We had been warned about vet bills and how some vets take advantage of the owners with the prices charged, but it was plain to see that this was absolutely not the case with Happy Tails, they're the most caring people ever and they go above and beyond for the well being of the pets. Our pup Stella is FULL of beans and everyone at Happy Tails welcomes her with open arms and are very understanding as we try to tame our well meaning but energetic pup. Even after a spay operation in Jan, Stella still gets so excited when we turn onto their street. We love their approach in care, its always practical and reasonable which we really appreciate. We are so very pleased to have found this vet clinic! We got an excellent and professional service for our small poodle. Our baby is recovering really well after dental treatment and 2 teeth removal. One of the cleanest vets I've ever been too. I was in often over a period of time, so I met most of the staff. They were amazing and I could tell they all genuinely cared about the animals they were working with. Dr. Kamin went above and beyond treating my cat. He gave me options and useful suggestions. I chose this hospital randomly based on its proximity to me, but I'll be coming back once I move further away. Highly recommend.

My cat boarded here for about a week and when I came to pick her up she didn’t want to leave. She LOVED it there. She got so much love and attention. Dr. Kamin is very knowledgeable and explained the procedure for neutering my dog with no hidden agenda. We are usually bombarded with miscellaneous charges on our vet bill at other clinics, but everything here is explained and the entire team works in you and your pet's best interests. We'd also like to give a big shoutout to Teresa, who thoroughly explained every detail of the procedure- as well as extra services she recommends. She's super friendly, and our dog loves her (even though he's scared of almost everybody)! She helped us considerably in understanding what our dog needs, as well as added extra services at no extra cost. We made the 40 minute trek of coming to their clinic, and will definitely do it again! Thanks again Happy Tails team!

We recently got a retriever puppy, and called to set up an appointment for Bailey's puppy shots. The office staff is so friendly and kind. A few days later we had to call back as our puppy was in distress. We were able to schedule a same day appointment, and the staff again was super kind, and informative. Dr. Kamin took the time to teach me what to look for so that I would know if my puppy was getting better or worse. The cost of the visit was very reasonable. The staff took the time to check in the next day - having owned pets my whole life, I have never had such a good experience with a vet before. Thank you Happy Tails! I would recommend this Animal Hospital to anyone.

Fantastic Animal Hospital! Big thank you to Dr. Kamin and nurse Teresa, both of you were such a kind souls that look after our Yorkie-Poodle like she was part of family. Dr. Kamin gave us tour of his facility. This hospital is state of the art equipped and extremely clean medical establishment. My wife was very stressed out about our dog and both Dr.Kamin and Teresa were very reassuring and comforting. Very experienced doctor, knowledgeable nurse / office manager, great location and very convenient for us, if I could give more than five stars, I would. I like this place because the vet does not sell you pseudo science and staff that do not work. The prices are fair , and believe me , I have tried plenty of vets in the Vancouver/ North van area and they do not have respect and consideration for pet owners. This is my second visit and happy tails and I must said I am very impress with the vets dedication, disposition, love for animals and costumer service. I will highly recommend this place.

Only good things to say about this hospital and its staff! I'm always fortunate enough to get a same day appointment when something comes up with my puppy. The staff are helpful and compassionate, my little guy loves seeing them even when he's not feeling the greatest. Kayla is very prompt in answering my emails when I have a concern, and she's very thorough when explaining the directions for my dogs medication. Highly recommend bringing your furbabies here, they'll be well taken care of :)

My 14 year old dog had a 3.62 pound lipoma removed from his side. Dr Kamin is a kind and caring man. It is apparent how much he cares about his patients. The clinic is pristine, the staff are efficient and friendly and I can’t say enough good things about our entire experience there. Not to mention my dog is like a puppy again now that he’s not carrying around an extra 20% of his body weight. Lastly we felt the prices are fair and not charging through the roof because it’s “the North Shore”.

I cannot say enough positive things about Dr. Kamin and his exceptional staff. When my regular vet had clearly dropped the ball, I started to panic that my dog's health was beginning to decline and I called Happy Tails. They could tell how upset I was and agreed to see me immediately. The entire staff stayed late that day to make sure my dog was ok and they scheduled his surgery ASAP. When I tried to express how grateful I was everyone smiled and said they were happy to do it. The care my Buddy received and the follow up was top notch. The team at Happy Tails is fantastic. I moved mid-Covid and no longer live close to the vet my family had trusted with all our pets over many years. I had been so worried I would not be able to find a good vet nearby that I would be comfortable taking my long-haired calico to as she can be, like most calicos, a bit of a character and is easily overstimulated. After reading many reviews, I felt quite confident in giving Happy Tails a try and I am glad I did. I have been twice now and it has been great. Dr Kamin is very kind and knowledgeable and so are the staff. Teresa was especially helpful and patient and made the most recent trip a more pleasant experience for my cat and for me, her easily worried mother. Happy Tails is the best vet office we have visited. Our pup was diagnosed with kidney failure and the entire staff team has been overwhelmingly kind, caring and attentive. Dr Kamin and his team truly treat your pet as their own. I went in with a heavy heart when my dog was sick and I left with a smile on my face due to the happy, upbeat vibes of the staff. The first time we visited the staff even went out of their way to recommend coffee shops in the area!

This is the best vet we have been to in North Vancouver. Our dog Zoey doesn’t love vets but she was always excited to visit Dr. Kamin and his team of excellent vet techs. He and his team helped us through an abscess that Zoey had with her leg that turned out to be cancer. The diagnosis and treatment provided was top notch, they were always extremely kind and tried to fit her into appointments even when they were swamped. I remember once they even stayed late for her to come in and get her wound cleaned. We really appreciate all that they have done for Zoey, and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a vet.

I had a great experience. My dog was taken in promptly and I was given a tour of the whole hospital . i was very impressed at the cleanliness and everything was state of the art equipment. I will be taking my dog here from now on. The staff was very nice and the veterinarian was so kind .
