This clinic only does spay and neutering all day long. When you only do one thing you tend to become very good at it. I trusted my very expensive purebred kitten to them for that reason. I was absolutely thrilled with every aspect of the procedure. From the staff.. to the information and directions both pre and post-op. Also the incision was tiny... no stitches to have removed (neuter) and it healed with zero complications!!! I have another Kitten that I will be bringing there to be spayed and I trust she will be in excellent hands!

My dog chipped half her canine tooth off during their care. The surgery costs about $1500-$2500. They refused to pay for the surgery and slapped the large bill on my family (which we couldn't afford that type of surgery) Went through multiple days of begging for help and they settled to pay $200 towards the surgery. This is currently still an ongoing issue. Aside from that, staff was very friendly and informative for the most part.

We had been looking for a vet to spay our almost 1 year old puppy for some time, and most typical vets charge a lot of money and add on silly things like "love and kisses" and "warm blankets". My dog is being spayed, not going to the spa and while I appreciate the add-ons, I know any good vet clinic will treat the dogs well. Anyhow, the Welland Spay & Neuter Clinic has been wonderful. It was easy to book an appointment (though it takes some time to get an opening, understandably). The clinic is run very strictly which I can appreciate. An email is sent describing exactly when to drop the dog off, when to pick them up and the time frame is very narrow to reduce stress in the dogs. My fiance dropped my dog off on the morning of her surgery and he said it was very well run, the staff treated our dog very gently and with kindness. He also picked her up afterwards and there was a group presentation of sorts for everyone to know the "rules of post-op". He also had a package to take home with body score, care instructions, meds etc. Lacey's incision site looked wonderful immediately after coming home. You can tell the vet has a skilled hand and had performed many surgeries as the wound is small and the bruising very minimal. Plus, after the first 12 hours Lacey was in great spirits, eating, drinking and carrying on as usual. I would not hesitate to bring any future dogs here as the skill and care are of utmost importance and I know my dog was handled well, and an excellent job was done suturing her back together. Thanks so much to the clinic, you have a tough job and we want to thank everyone there for the work they put in to ensure there are less unwanted animals in this world by offering a very reasonable cost for the spay & neuter procedures! (Not to forget microchips, Rabies shots etc all at affordable prices for everyone). If you are reading this and have any doubts, don't, your pet is in great hands!

I brought my doggo there and they treated her very well she was scared from all the noise and commotion from all the other pets so they brought her into another room with them and kept her company so she was comfortable until I arrived to pick her up. I was very nervous to have my dogs spayed (I am just super protective and paranoid). But, the Welland Spay and Neuter Clinic allowed my nerves to settle, they are very thorough with any and all questions I had and ensured I understood the post surgery care. All of the staff are super compassionate and kind, they even have a welcome board where they write all the pets names that are coming in. I am so happy I found this place and plan on making the hour and a half drive to them for any other spay/neuter surgeries necessary for other pets! Thank you for being so wonderful!

Reason for only 3 stars is that we were supposed to have our puppy neutered at 6 months of age but because they decided to shut down for covid excuses (even though real vets stayed open to help their pets), he won't get neutered until he is over a year old. You should have stayed open to help people get their animals the care they needed. Probably would have been better to just have my regular vet take care of the surgery. At least it would be done by now.

Everything would have been fine and great until pickup time.... You said be there at 10 to 4. Dogs to be released at 4. We were. We were there early to ensure we were on time. You tell me I have to wait 25 minutes to get MY dog back because some other guy can't do what he is told and show up on time!?! They have nothing to do with me and my dog and I should not have to listen to my dog cry out because of someone else. Angry is not the word I would use right now.

Great place for affordable spay and neuter. The Dr. Is fabulous, they do à wellness check on your pet to make sure everything will go as planned. The staff are wonderful and always seem to be in a good mood. I have used the clinic multiple times and have never had an issue, our pets always recover quickly with no post op issues. I highly recommend the Welland spray neuter clinic.

I took my kitten here to be spade and microchipped. The whole experience was efficient and pleasant. My kitten recovered well and she was comfortable. They did an amazing job taking care of her. Prices were decent and I would recommend taking your pet here.

Due to covid the bring the dogs with their humans in one at a time to admit them. Honestly with all the testosterone in the Male dogs it was easy to maintain WELL over 6 feet and it probably had to be done this precovid for that sake! I recommend this location.

I was very nervous about bringing my dog to the spay and neuter clinic to be neutered, however, I had the best experience I've ever had with any other vet clinic. Everything was very organized and scheduled precisely, including a specific drop off and pick up time which made the whole process stress-free and easy. This makes a huge difference for pet parents that are already nervous about their furry friend going under the knife. I'd received positive recommendations from co-workers about this spay and neuter clinic, and I would 100% recommend this particular clinic to anyone looking to have their pet neutered or spayed. The price was more than reasonable, and I opted to purchase a cone and to have my large breed dog microchipped as well. His recovery has been great. As long as you follow the instructions provided by the clinic staff, your pet should heal just fine. It has been just over a week since my pup had his surgery, and he is healing perfectly. I will definitely be back to this clinic in the future :) Thank you for taking such great care of my pet!

I’m so grateful for this clinic! My puppy had a really good experience for way less cost compared to our regular vet. The staff were thorough, friendly and professional. They sent us home with instructions for after care, pills for pain and made owners watch a video before pickup. My pup is in good spirits and was up and about in no time. I brought my dog princess in to get fix. I get there fill out the paperwork and everything. Told me if i didnt pick her up on time they would send her to the pound. I asked the girl at the desk of that was tru she said yes the ppl that work there are so rude idc it might get your dog or cat fixed but they dont tell you if your animal is pregnant they just kill the babies and go on with the fixing. Now i kbow this is rude and everything i know i just dont want anything like that to happen to any of your animals and the two girls that told me that both got fired!!!

I was nervous at first because everything to book the appointment was online and didn't know what to expect when I arrived. I was so pleased how organized and prepared everything was when I arrived. To top it off my cat was going to be spayed but after a physical exam that determined she had a heart murmur they called me right away to let me know it would be too dangerous for her to go under anesthetic at this time. They gave great consideration and care to our individual situation. I appreciated the professionalism very much.
