These people obviously care a great deal about all the animals they see. Our dog developed a sudden seizure disorder and they were all over it, ready to adjust meds any time, deeply engaged. He's a very anxious dog, which makes him skittish with strangers, but they're so good with him he's happy - tail wagging and all smiles - as he's led in by his buddies for care.

I've gone here on a number of occasions for various pets and have never had any problems with the vets. They are a bit more expensive than other places, but my pets have received good care there. However, when I tried to get an OTC supplement from them, the receptionist stonewalled me because my mostly feral cat refuses to be put into a carrier to come see them. The list time I tried this with this cat I ended up going to MASH after he bit me and my hand became infected. No sympathy from the reception Nazi , so I'll go get my supplement elsewhere.

They were great about getting me in right away when there was an urgent issue with my cat's eye. Their hours are good, open late a couple of nights a week, and Saturday hours. But today, I was more or less called neglectful because I didn't notice his eye was bothering him until yesterday. Vet told me repeatedly then showed me, saying something to the effect of 'this grows at this rate a day and see how it's progressed, you must not have been paying attention to him for days'. Uhm, yeah. Looking for a new vet now.

We have been taking our dog to this vet now for a few months, and they have been fantastic. From intake to the techs to the vets, they care about the animals that come in. The vets are also very good at giving their knowledge without making you feel unintelligent. Our dog was recently spayed, and she has healed very well.

If this review was based solely on Dr. Hall and her technicians, they would undoubtedly recieve 5 stars. However my recent brief experience with the office manager, Holly, requires I deduct at least 2 stars from this review. She was incredibly short with me while I dropped off a sample for my pet. She attempted to correct me multiple times, gave me unwarranted attitude and essentially shooed me out the door. I am thankful we are not regular clients and I do not have to deal with this treatment on a regular basis! Take it from someone that works in the field, there are more accommodating offices elsewhere, just a head's up.

I've been bringing my dogs here for 45 years but not any more. I called to get my 11 year old yellow lab in because he was favoring his right front paw. The earliest he could be seen was 13 days later which I couldn't believe. We have 2 other dogs who go to a different vet. I called them and was able to get an appointment the next day. So much for caring people at Sheridan Animal Hospital. Would not recommend.

I am actually shadowing at Sheridan Animal Hospital to get some hours for my vet school application, but I must say that this place is one of the best veterinary hospitals I have ever been to. I love that all the doctors and technicians are so knowledgeable about everything and work together very well. They are extremely polite to their clients and explain everything as clear as possible to answer their questions. I could not have asked for a better place to shadow, nor a better place to take care of your pets. Two thumbs up!

We cannot express enough how much we appreciate the vets, vet techs and staff. Adopted a 6 week old puppy in July '14 as my first dog. Within a couple days, she had a cough and some of her hair was getting patchy. I came in immediately and got lucky that they found an opening for us later in the day. Dr. Puleo and all of the nurses/staff were incredibly friendly, explained everything from vaccinations to medications that my puppy needed. Turns out we were frequent flyers for the next six months... Every time we came in, most of the staff recognized us and were very pleasant and fawned all over my pup. It really helped turn a stressful situation into a pleasant one. As long as I live in Buffalo, I absolutely won't go anywhere else.

My husband and I brought our new adopted cat to Dr. Bliss and used the free visit voucher. She spent a lot of time with Zoe and gave us good advice about the care of cats. WE were not charged a penny and we will definitely keep going to Dr. Bliss if Zoe needs care. I highly recommend this clinic.

We just wanted to show appreciation for dr Gawron . I took my elderly boy CJ in because of his breathing and other signs of severe problems .She was honest with us , she did one very necessary test ... and then on she didn’t mince her words . I understood that he was dying and because of that we arranged for an at home visit from a vet and a very peaceful passing I could have put him through all kinds of torturous tests , but because she was honest ... we came quickly to the right decision for us She treated him with kindness and respect but she wasn’t fake and didn’t manipulate our emotions , to get us to spend tons of money to no avail I’m grateful for that because at that point , we were both in denial CJ spent his near 16 yrs going to Sheridan hospital and I trust them completely

When we first started going 2 years ago we were seeing Dr. Hurley and she is great! Then for the last year my pups have put in with other vets who don’t listen to my concerns, or when they do they give unhelpful advice that has already continually failed. I’m changing their vet as I’m tired of spending $300 dollars a visit feeling like they don’t care about my pups well being.

I only go and see Dr.Bliss. She is caring, patient and professional. So I HIGHLY recommend her. The staff has always been more then pleasant. I find their pricing pretty very even kilter along the board of the animal hospitals around Tonawanda. Though I will say the price of my puppy's spay was much less expensive then the other two places I looked at. I had a 100 dollar off voucher for another vet for my puppy's spay and they quoted me about $200 dollars more then the high end of what Sheridan had quoted me. Overall I am happy with my visits!
