In my opinion this place gets a zero rating. When we tried to adopt a puppy we did everything needed. We brought our current dog to meet her first, we provided our Vet for vet check, yard check, and in the end were denied because our 2 indoor dogs of 12 years, did not have up to date shots and rabies yearly! Wow! Our 2 dogs - 12 YEAR OLD DOGS (you don't get that old being neglected) were allowed out in our completely fenced yard to do their business and brought back in to protect from outside cold or heat, and other predators. We adored them and they were NEVER denied vet care when needed (which, by the way, was not until their late 10th and 11th years). We even proposed we, in future, provide proof of necessary yearly shots, and were still told no. How sad it that when someone WANTS to give an unfortunate animal a home and is willing whatever it takes and is still told no. If we are such bad people how is it our dogs survived 12 years (one still with us and very healthy, I might add). I guess they would rather keep this poor little baby in a cold kennel, alone, than allow two people to adopt her, give her an abundance of love and treat her like she is the owner of the house! I am so tempted to go above their heads and possibly to the news media to expose them for the hypocrites they are! Our home is safe, loving and if shots were the only issue, we were more than willing to make sure they were done and whatever else was needed. They pretend they care but they do not. If I could, if I had the money, space and all else needed, take these animals from them! They DO NOT REALLY CARE - THAT IS CLEAR! Again, we were VERY WILLING to do what was necessary to give her a good home. I do agree, however, that we, maybe, should have been more diligent with shots, again, however, our vets office never pushed the issue and one told us because they really did not go out much or socialize with other animals, it really wasn't necessary. Our vet, who cares deeply for animals as we witnessed through the years, would have stressed the importance of shots over money. It was never an issue that was pushed because they knew we adore our animals and keep them protected. My advice to anyone thinking of coming here, think twice, however, DO NOT let an animal to remain there if possible. Mind your Ps and Qs and get things in order before attempting to adopt from, at least, this particular N.Falls Humane Society. We are so sad we could not bring this little baby home with us. I now refer to them as the IN-HUMANE SOCIETY OF NIAGARA FALLS. NOTICE ANY REVIEW OF 5 STARS WAS 4/5 YEARS AGO.

They totally care and love the animals.

Michelle Smith

Went to the dog park, also to donate some new doggie sweaters was disappointed to see they are not accepting donations during covid. They could still accept animals still need help too. Just do the appropriate steps needed to be safe. Not brain surgery.

Melanie Veilleux

Friendly staff, animals very well cared for

I have to say I was completely surprised when I went to visit the shelter. I know it costs to keep upkeep but overall it just didn't seem like anyone cared. The smell was awful and as I walked through to visit the dogs, poor things were being poked and prodded by people. Very little information was given about the the dogs on cages. I asked the receptionist about a few and about the process and she said some are spoken for. I asked why there was no sign up, stating that, so that someone would know not to invest time in that particular animal. No response. I then asked if there was a process like do I come.vsiit the dog everyday, take it outside see if we like eachother or are a good fit or if he gets along with my dog. She said NO. You just fill out an application and pay the fee and take the dog home. Lightbulb went off. So that makes sense why so many dogs are given up time after time again. Yet they want you to be their forever home without never having seen them outside their cage. ???? The New Dog Park; Bark Park Fast forward a few months to the New dog park. Bark park. Great name, poor park. What is that?? I was so disappointed! First it is so small and it appears to be created for humans not dogs. My dog doesn't even like walking on sidewalks so a cement path seemed an odd choice. I get it though for elderly and others but seriously, very few elderly have big dogs. Then the fact that there was NO SHADE. It was 31 degrees out and NO trees. Nothing for even my dog to lie under. Wow, with all that land and the water and treeline, and the park is once again a silly piece of empty lot made for humans a to sip coffee and talk. Also what's with the tiny baby pool, that was gross. My dog didn't even want to go near it, maybe he's spoiled or maybe he just knows things I don't, but he wouldn't even drink water from anyone near there. I'm sorry but you want to make a dog park? Speak to BIG dog owners to see what they need! I would love to have a giant field where my dog and I can play frisbee at 100 meters, so he can run and burn off energy and we don't crash into other people playing with their dogs! I want to see trees so he can pee on them sniff them or chase squirrels. I want him to be a dog, in a park in a wooded area/ dog park so he doesn't have to feel stifled when we walk in all of our public parks, on a leash! I want to see a pond for cooling off, giant rubber tires just because it adds elevation and dynamics, & maybe a water fountain that just runs so the water is clean and fresh. Not a baby pool that he steps into, that was just gross! Needless to say, he got stung by a wasp not even a half hour into being there. It was so hot and dry. And it was really boring for him and me.He kept looking at me to go home and he ran for the car when I said 'lets go home.' I don't go to dog parks to socialize so much with other humans as to have fun freely with my dog. Call me weird but a dog park is supposed to be for dogs. I am so disappointed that once again Niagara Falls does something half arse, yet so proud of it. I was told 'oh take your dog to the dog park In Chippawa. It's big.' In two strides my dog was at the other end. Some of the dogs were aggressive, and there wasn't enough space to keep a lot of distance and have us still play, nor was there any place he could hide if he wanted to. Other dogs seemed very gentle but my dog after 15 minutes doesn't want to play with other dogs, he wants to be in nature smelling trees and grass. The only good thing, they kept the grass but it was so burnt from the heat. I've come to determine, my dog isn't a dog park dog, or maybe THAT kind of dog park which is what we see everywhere! Woodchip or barren spaces. It is so frustrating! Well after 45 minutes we left and I will never go back and if anyone tells me to take my dog to a dog park because he's off leash running In an empty field with noone around, I'm going to say how about you fill a sand bucket of water and a sand bucket of sand and put them on your driveway and tell your kids you're going to the beach!

Adele Garbutt

Very good dog park. Has a section for small dogs and large.

Tasha Dittrich

Oh I don't know, oh I don't know, oh I don't know anything about these dogs. Great encourgment about adopting dogs. How can you put dogs up for adoption and know nothing about them

Wessley

Very helpful and friendly staff but such a sad depressing place :(

Michael Rosario

Friendly staff and a well maintained facility.

G Henry

Called the Niagara Falls human society to report a baby seagull with a broken wing in the middle of the street. They arrived within 15 minutes of that call on a Saturday! Very friendly and fast. Not all heroes wear capes!

James Jason Potter

As horrible to people as to animals, locked up animals and no direction when you need help, and if I was an animal I pray that someone kill me

Jean Noordhoff

love this dog park!

Eduardo P.

Beautiful place and therefore an excellent spot to take thousands of pictures. The Maid of the Mist is a great alternative to enhance the experience. I hope to come back soon.

SECRETz AGENDA

Terrible place to adopt an animal. The 2 dogs we adopted had worms and were not healthy. We called on several occasions and not one phone call was returned. Their customer service is awful. As dog owners and animal lovers, they really don't seem to care.

Jodi Gaudaur

Absolutely disgusted rude ignorant would never deal with these people

Jackie Lawson

Pleasant place to wander with dog or let him run. Other visitors 2 and 4 legged all nice

VIVIAN FLEMING

I had to take my dog to be euthanized and thry were very kind and caring.

Attitude Agape

The place looks wonderful and I love the outdoor areas for the dogs, but the new COVID policy really needs to be changed. I went there to view the animals as I was coming from out of town and I watched many people come and leave immediately due to the restrictions. The website does not give a good enough picture when it comes to the dogs and their personalities. People need to see them. With the outdoor areas available I really don't understand why the dogs were not there for viewing as it would give those who come without knowing you have to fill an adoption form first a glimpse of the animals available. They wouldn't even have to touch them, they would just be able to see.

Brett Cook

We'll keep looking for a dog to suit us

Robert “Burner” Macfarlane

Should be out f business, useless humane society .

Patricia Morgan

I recently went through a tragic event and the humane society have been so wonderful and helping me deal with the situation my best regards to everyone there that's helped me get through this.

Lisa Andrew (TheWife101)

Pretty clean. They had around 12 dogs when I was there. They take care of them. Good space, and good outdoor space. This is a good facility.

Kendra Crossley

Got our wonder pooch from here back in June. She's a perfect fit. The vet tech we were dealing with was amazing and friendly. We put the application in on a Saturday morning and got the call just before they were closing for the day. Highly reccomend looking at the humane society for any animal you may want. They all deserve homes.

liquidparrot

They do the best they can with what they have. Big hearts

Jillian Moore

My only issue in dealing with the Niagara Falls humaine society is that I was not allowed to comfort my 2 german shepherds as they where euthanized together. If you are paying upwards of $600 it should be your decision be there to comfort them for this process I was never given a good reason why I was not allowed to be in the room and for that I would not recommend then for thos service.

Jaz Belleville

They are only open 6 hours a day. Thats it. Not even full business hours. This is why teenagers go around killing kittens with hammers or starve dogs on chains and get away with it. I found starving kittens in a box and had to drive to Fort Eerie because Niagara Falls wasn't open.

Shelby Melna

Super unprofessional and rude receptionist. No customer service skills what so ever. Went to visit a dog that I had full intentions of leaving with him that day. However, I was told that my significant other, who is a truck driver , had to physically be in the building for her to EVEN take my application. I had my significant other call to discuss adoption as he was physically unable to come to the building. She then told me to call in sick from work the next day to be able to meet the dog. TO WHICH HE DID. He returns to find the dog already adopted and not even in the building. She told us she could not hold the dog for even 24 hours full well knowing we were coming back the next day to get him. I thought they were suppose to help you adopt an animal and not deter you away from them?

Chris Graham

Ignore the silly reviewer saying that you should find a rescue rather than go to a shelter. Many rescues are for profit—essentially the used car dealerships of the pet world. SPCA is a proper non-profit, with only the animals' interests in mind. Niagara SPCA were wonderfully helpful when we recently adopted Slim (now Murray). They have a nice big dog run, where you can get to know a pup. They sent us home with lots of extra food, a cone for his neuter in incision, and extra meds, and wwere just generally lovely the whole way through.

BOB RENOS

Thank God for these type of locations to help animals

L Troake

We got a new kitten that is perfect! Well socialized and such a loveable healthy little guy! Thanks to SPCA for their services!

Mary Ellen Beaton

Used the dog park. Thanks its very well maintained and lots of water dishes for our 4 legged friends.

Bruce Henry

Very friendly and love the new dog park

At my first visit here, these people seemed very kind. They heard about our situation and told us about a dog which was not yet up for adoption which they thought would be suitable. They were extremely caring and let us take the dog out for a walk. While On our walk, one of the staff drove up to us as she was about to leave and disclosed further information. These people really were kind and seemed really caring. I think we might have found our perfect companion

Adam Duguay

Awesome place to adopt a furby cat or dog

Tracey McKenzie

Awesome place to find the most adorable animals that need a family. Kelly Carrier tries to inform you with enough information so you have the perfect family pet for you home.

I was attacked by my own dog a spanish mastiff / American bulldog when a little.dog was running off the leash yapping and running away and owner wouldn't do anything but laugh he kept staring my dog in the face and laughing. The little dog got a little too close and I was losing strength never met anyone so stupid and my dog went at the little dog and I put my arm in the way...even stupider I know but I didn't wanna see this little.dog ripped apart by my dog . Once he bites he shakes his head in this case my arm ...severe damage to my right arm occurred and I am left with no feeling in it at all. I called myself to report the bite and I was told that I could quarantine him at my home which wasn't possible I was staying at friends till my place was ready in st Catherine's . I cannot leave him in their place when I'm not there after he had just attacked me (the owner ) imagine how scares they were to be alone with this dog . I begged them to take him quarantine him so that I could go to the hospital . The lady who answered phone was extremwlyy rude and shouldn't work at the humane society of all places . She stated I shouldn't have a dog if I dont have the $250 to quarantine him at that moment . ON A BITE i reported to do the right thing . I hit up Facebook and after 20 mins got the money put into my account all the while bleeding profusely. I call back and tell her the good news and she says ok well u can get him here and we will quarantine him for you." Get him there I said " I have no transportation and I had no use of my right arm and my dog isn't himself cause of all the blood and my energy . My dog was getting worked up just being around me . She said Oh well guess you need to surrender him then and he will be put down was her answer or we come and get him it's 75 additional dollars. I was still losing blood at this time hadn't see medical care yet cause I didn't want to leave him tied outside the hospital danger to others or walk him there and come across another little dog maybe a senior walking a little dog and I can't hold him cause I got no feeling in my right arm and bleeding and bleeding alot . She was so so rude I lost it and hung up. I got my family to call for me where she was extremely rude to my sister's as well. Saying i shouldn't even own the dog in the first.place she doesn't even know my dogs story and i.am actually considered a hero.to this dog who can't be owned by just anyone . I have faced a job loss and a home.loss and managed to keep my dog through it all. That's wrong of me . I got a new job and.a place on April 25 and this woman knows nothing of the struggle I was facing I was homeless because i couldn't find a place that accepted dogs and wouldn't settle for taking one he couldn't come with me too. I had little money cause my dog had some trama that left him with issues I agreed to see him through . I kept that promise and this humane society puts me down because of it. I have been through hell and when I pull myself out of it he will be my side. He doesn't care when I'm depressed he lays with me. He doesn't care I'm broke cause he eats even if I don't . He doesn't care i don't do my make up everyday because he looks up to me regardless . I saved that little dog cause it didn't deserve to die cause that man was an idiot . I took a serious injury and reported it myself and this is how they treat me. Disgusted with that woman . She needs to go work at a jail or something . I called other humane societies who couldn't help cause it's out of their area but did say that this humane society it wasn't right I believe this Niagara falls humane society doesnt t care about anything but money money money .

They were so kind beautiful people ❤️

I would give 0 if I could. The Niagara Falls Humane Society has been absolutely terrible with communication and professionalism during our interaction with them. A few weeks ago, my cat of 13 years, whom I had since she was an 8 week old kitten, had to be put down. After a bit of grieving, I felt ready to bring another cat into my home to love and care for. The particular cat in question is a lovely cat by the name of Birdie who, at the time, was being housed in a cage at the Niagara Falls PetsMart location. I travelled to the Niagara Falls Humane Society to fill out an application in person. I filled out all the necessary information, including my previous cat's vet history. Unfortunately, my family had gotten her for free as a kitten when I was just 14 years old and we couldn't afford her vet bills. She was a 100% indoor cat and we didn't think it would have been much of a problem. Fast forward to about a year and a half ago, I had moved into my own apartment and could take full custody of the cat who was now 12 at the time. I had been told by a veterinarian that at her advanced age, getting spayed would be unnecessary. As for the rabies shot, again, being an indoor cat I didn't think this was a problem. The Niagara Falls Humane Society, on the other hand, did see it as a problem. After waiting more than 48 hours after applying, I phoned them to follow up on my application. I was told that I was denied solely for the reason of my cat's vet history. They informed me of a law stating a hefty fine for not having the rabies vaccination. I explained to them the situation, how I was a minor at the time and now am working 3 locations in my field and are able to afford these necessary shots. I was told, and I quote, "We can't in good conscience adopt this cat to you." When I challenged their decision the woman on the phone got defensive and stopped answering my questions. I got fed up, told them to have a nice day and hung up. Unsatisfied with the response, my girlfriend tried to adopt the same cat under her name and her address. We waited 72 hours for a response (it was a weekend). When we didn't hear anything, we phoned the Humane Society again. The reason for denial this time? And I again quote, "You are already associated with the animal." Which we are assuming means that she was there in person with me when I applied the first time. Once again unsatisfied with their answer and their attitude towards us, I emailed the Niagara Falls Humane Society Board of Directors. That was Monday, May 8th at roughly 10:30am. The day I am writing this is Thursday, May 18th 2017 and I have yet to get a reply email. On Wednesday, May 10th I called their Chief Operating Manager who told me her name was Kelly. Kelly was the only polite person who spoke to, when we could contact her. She mentioned the fine as well, but noted that our applications never had an actual "Reason for Denial" other than the words 'DENIED' written on them. We pleaded our case to Kelly and asked them to reconsider, and to call us with their decision regardless of outcome. Kelly did not contact us. We left 2 messages on her answering machine at the Niagara Falls Humane Society to follow up, once on Saturday May 13th and again on Tuesday May 16th. We once again asked that they contact us with their decision. Still no contact. How unprofessional can you get? To keep ignoring and ignoring a person who wants to give a wonderful cat a loving home and take them out of that horrible cage? Not once has the NFHS made the initial contact with us and seems very content on leaving this cat in a cage. This experience has been extremely negative and outrageous, and almost every person we have told this story too agrees with us. For the sake of these cats, why can't you overlook something as minimal as this? You make it feel as if we would be unfit cat owners who wouldn't love or care for them while in our custody and that couldn't be farther from the truth. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

Zaheer Khan

Paid one price for the Kitten we wanted, had all it's shots and everything, was well cared for in facility. No hidden surprises or fees.

michael garneau

Super unfriendly reception lady (young person). Made me feel like i was being an imposition on her valuable time. I truely wanted a pet but i soon realised i was better off looking elsewhere. Sad. You figure the workers there love animals. You would also figure this would be a happy up beat place where finding an animal a good home is the top priority. This person took all that away.

Ian Crossley

A great place to get your new pet. We had gone a few times to find the right pup for our family. Although there was an application mix up with the one pup we went to visit, it was a blessing in disguise as we found our girl. Great staff who make you feel welcome.

Paul Chalmers

Got my forever dog from here and couldn't be happier. he is a member of the family! thanks to the great staff here that gave our boy the love and affection he needed.. without them we would have never had our guy

Jay Savokaitis

Best staff in the world. Will bend over backwards to help anyone!

David Brown

I took a stray and the staff here is very friendly, helpful and caring for the animals from what I could see.

Joe Wilson

The do such a great job with animals. We donate to them all the time.

Allie

The staff was rude and claimed that I would not be a a fit pet owner because I said that I would rather give my pet to a family member then send it back to them to live in a cage if I had to give it up. Ridiculous!

Mythu Siva

Adopted my dog-daughter from here. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I've asked them a ton of questions and am completely satisfied with how everything went. 'Gretel' says hi!

Natalie Damelio

If I could give this adoption centre negative stars I would. An over all horrible adoption process. The staff is completely untrained and Unprofessional. The adoption process is a joke and hypocritical they want to get rid of these animals but make it impossible to adopt. The best way to describe the staff would be incompetent, rude and disgusting. I was never contacted about my adoption and had to call multiple times to even find out if the animal was being taken care of; which to my knowledge they did absolutely nothing to care for this animal as it was very sick an I was recommend to take this animal to the vet ASAP because they refused to do anything. If you are thinking to adopt from this place DO NOT as they will make your life a living hell if you are thinking of adopting another animal from any other place. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS

sleep n

Awesome place! I can't wait to go see the dogs again!! Soon, hopefully!

Tom Murphy

Great park for the dog water and pools well kept and path is good

sambora78

I called today and it was after they had closed . I found a dog that had gotten out of his yard. I pressed 8 for after hours and the girl was extremely rude says to me why are you calling me when the shelter is still open. The shelter wasn't open, the dog was returned to his owners but , if you don't like your job or helping animals I suggest you do a different job. I will never call after hours again

Adam Beck

They have a small dog park now that's a waste dogs can slip though the fence gates so can t go leash free..

Natasha Romanoff

I feel terrible for the animals that are solely counting on the girls that work here. Especially the woman ith the glasses that works at front reception. Shame on your employer for allowing you to be the face of this organization. She was rude, did not smile once, barely looked at me or acknowledged my presence while she proceeded to have a conversation with a friend on her cellphone. Being first time adopters, my sister and I had many questions. Not one person asked if they could help us as we were cluelessely walking around the shelter. I got more information about what I was suppose to do from the young girl who appeared to be walking home from her shift then the 5 woman that were "working" behind the counter. After awkwardly standing at the desk unsure of exactly how to proceed with adopting a dog, I briefly mentioned my parents have a silver lab. "Silver labs don't exist, they're called blue labs". Pardon me? Google blue labrador retriever and tell me what comes up. Aside from the unbelievable run-around we got, which ultimately ended in this receptionist preventing a perfect forever home for one of their adoptees (which is another disgusting story) I'm outraged that this shelter has these types of people advocating these animals. Your workers are terrible at customer service and are preventing good people from adopting these pets who so dearly need a home. Shame on you Niagara Falls Humane Society.

John G

Now part of the Niagara SPCA and Humane Society serving most of Niagara Region great staff very caring

Cameron Wilkie

A lot of dogs and run by good people. Bit of a smell

Dylan Lampshire

The work they do here is so important

Thacker Kitchen

Went to see 2 dogs there Bella and Hope with full intention of adoption. I'm sure they are lovely dogs but the staff need to be upfront with people. There write up is how sweet and gentle they are but when you see them they are guarded, showing teeth and barking +++. I'm sure they are very stressed and that's what it is. Again receptionist attitude and behavior when talking to her about the girls was very aloof and unfriendly. She told us she didnt know why they weren't adopted. It was very clear to us and if she had just told us more about them and how they really are we may have been back. Unfortunately we never went back as we got bad vibes from her and we were not reassured by receptionist that they were good dogs. So sorry Bella and Hope.

Chris Baker

Bunch of jokers. After my son was attacked by the dogs at 5551 Valleyway unit 6, and a hospital visit. They ticketed the owner? The neighbours say this is not an isolated incident. Sure it will happen again. This city is useless and will not act. Thank for nothing you lazy clowns. The positive reviews are fake!

Anthony Romeo

Seems to be well run. Relatively clean and looks very organized.

David Palmer

Friendly staff. Left with a new Family member who was Rescued.

eray suatac

Last year our beloved cat of 18 years passed away in my children's arms from natural causes. After our grieving period we were ready to to find a new cat to love. My husband and I were willing to get them a kitten off of Kijiji but because of their compassion for the cats at the Niagara Falls Humane Society of which they visited on a regular basis to play with the cats they decided to do what they felt was the right thing and adopt an older cat from you. When our cat passed we donated all of his food, litter and bed to the shelter at the Niagara Square because my 12 year old daughters wanted to. We visited the shelter in Chippewa last weekend and considered one there but then visited the Pet Smart and fell in love with a 3 and 1/2 year old tabby we did the paperwork and they faxed it off for us. Leaving so excited we started to prepare for his arrival. We waited for a call on Tuesday and nothing so I decided to call and was informed that we may be denied because of our past cats vaccinations were not up to date. We waited all week and was told that our application was under review which gave us hope. We did not get the courtesy of being able to talk to someone to discuss the situation. A message was left of my phone. So maybe I am uneducated on the rules and regulations on vaccination but he was and indoor cat and very healthy. My one daughter had to do a Social Justice project this year and she chose the Humane Society as her topic. Did all the research on her own and now she is left wondering why she was denied a cat. She was also excited to hear that when you are 16 years old you can volunteer at the shelters because she wanted to do that. I can assure you now that she will not be. I understand policies and procedures as I deal with them daily but I feel each application needs to be looked at on an individual basis. I was not made aware of the need for yearly vaccinations. I did have our deceased cat at the veterinarian last year for a rash that they gave him a cortisone shot for. So the fact that the employees at the shelter made us feel like we were abusive to a member of our family is appalling.

Recently early in the morning before light we had a sick Racoon on our back porch called the response and removal was very fast the officer trapped and removed the sick and dangerous animal...Thank you very much

Donna Perry

I had to have my little girl sent over the rainbow Bridge and everyone there is so kind and comforting ????

Tamara Sly

Our puppy had passed away, the staff were very empathetic, and gentle with their words to my daughter.

Eva L. Molx

People so friendly. So sad that people abandon their pets instead of trying to find them a new home. Don't abandon - take to the SPCA so that they can know the history. Get a microchip in your pets. Not only to help if your pet gets lost but also, may help with knowing the medical history for the new owner. Get your pet spayed/neutered.

kay schultz

Dog park, not given much thought, all that land and the areas are small, cut all those mature trees to plant new ones, no shade and a mud pile in the middle? Who designed this?

Alex Kremnev

Renewed our dog licenses here. Can now be done automatically so you don't even have to come in.

John Knott

They were very helpful they brought me down to a door to go in to see the dogs they talked to me about the sizes if I had kids or no kids what kind of dog would be good for me then and they explained about the dogs to me then they brought me to the cats and showed me the cats told me all about them and how the dogs get walked outside everyday and things like that they were very helpful and very nice every one of them in there that I talk to that's a well worst place to have

Ken Bagshaw

Very helpful staff. Compassionate. Really love their work.

Phil Decastro

Respect to all the hard work and love that goes into this job. True heroes.

It was so depressing seeing the dogs in "jail". And the girl at the front desk with multi colored hair was not very knowledgeable and didn't answer all the questions I had.

Disturbingly inept. They did absolutely nothing when my son was attacked by the neighbours chow breed. My son will now need surgery to regain movement in his left leg and arm. I can seek legal rwcourse, but since the owner is on ODSP, I am sure I will not get a Dime. The dog is still running rampant, AND MY 9 YEAR OLD IS STILL IN THE HOSPTIAL! Thanks for nothing

JT

They have a really nice dog park called Bark Park.

Tammy Johnson

Wish i could take them all. Good thing for the humane society that the lost have somewhere to find their forever homes.

Kathy Anne Sabados

The little doggy got free went around the block and went to school. They called Humane Society. Got doggy back. Thanks.

Good job on moving in under the Ontario's new animal welfare authority and removing the GSDs adults, puppies and an older pup with a broken leg from a back yard residence. Kudos. The new welfare system is qualified for assessments and working. Thank you.

Really nice dog park runs. Small building though and quite a ways out from the core of Niagara falls. If dropping an animal from outside the Niagara falls area, they'll turn you away faster than you can turn your head and demand you take the animal to the proper humane society closest to where the animal was found. They won't even do a microchip check in case the owner has the I go there. I was quite displeased witnessing that. I know the st Catharines HS would run that microchip check at the minimum and be a little more pleasant interacting.

Kyly Chmiel

Adopted a cat from there. They were incredibly kind and helpful.

They do good good work my only thing is the price they charge for adoptions. If you wants animals to be adopted then LOWER YOUR PRICES YOU GUYS ARE WAY HI.

Syed T. Haider

Loved it Went there to claim my lost dog who escaped from my backyard. The staff is very cooperative and friendly. ???? Also, there are secured fenced dog grounds for dogs to run and play.
