The Dr. at Lock One (Sam), has been looking after my dachshund for 12 years. She is an incredible vet with outstanding bed side manor. She has helped my dog a few times over the years with more urgent medical concerns and he has always been happy and healthy as a result. I have complete trust in Sam as my vet. Sam is incredibly humble and has an obvious and honest love for animals in general. When I was in my college years Sam would adjust her pricing to what I could afford. This breeds loyalty and shows how honest the business the is. Just outstanding!

The nicest people work here. The Veterinarian was very knowledgeable and extremely thorough in her examination of my cat "Rocky." I appreciated that she took the time to explain everything to me as she went along and no question went unanswered. I have been with Dr. Sam Thompson since she started practicing and I dread the thought of taking my dogs anywhere else. Dr. Sam's knowledge of dogs and her compassion to all animals is second to none. Dr. Thompson is always a pleasure to meet with and has such a great bedside manner with our pets. You can tell by her interaction with our first dog and now our new puppy that she just loves animals. Sam has to be the best Vet in the area. She really cares about your pet and explains all the options to best take care of your pet. Rica (our porti) loves her and always has a wagging tail from the time we walk in the door, until we leave. The receptionist staff is very understanding and will get you in quickly and understand how crazy pet owners become over concerned with their pets lol If you love your pet, you will go see Sam and the guys. If there is a wait list, get on it... as the saying goes, it's well worth the wait!

She genuinely cares for your pet, she doesn't slap a quick fix and send you out. Nor does she recommend excessive treatment that is unnecessary.
