Wonderful equine vets that are very knowledgeable but that also care about you and your horses. They offer equine acupuncture and chiropractic services (among many others!) which aren't common in this area but are so effective. So glad they have opened up a Nova Scotia practice!

Incredibly caring, competent and so professional! Sunny Coast is extremely easy to reach and to deal with and Dr. Koivu is everything anyone could ever hope to find in a veterinarian: she is so very knowledgeable and thorough and is so compassionate (both to the animal and the owner!). We are extremely fortunate to be able to access such top-notch lameness expertise here in Nova Scotia!

Sunny Coast Veterinary came highly recommended from trusted acquaintances when I was at a loss with what seemed like chronic lameness issues with my gelding. Dr. Francheville and Dr. Koivu were amazing to deal with and I can honestly say I would consider them 'lameness geniuses!' Within the hour, I had a diagnosis I was confident with and they did not hesitate to recommend a specific treatment they had used time and time again with significant results. I am happy to say, I feel my young gelding is on the right track and we are excited to continue working with this exceptional team.
