At this moment this firm gets a score of 4.5 over 5 and that rating was based on 79 reviews.

As you know, we do not usually bother to write feddbacks when these are positive and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...

Very expensive. Even more expensive than a downtown clinic location in Boston I used.
They were great about fitting my cat in when he got tapeworm. We were in and out quick and painlessly. They vet was very nice and made some recommendations for my other cay in case he also had it. However now that I have visited again, what I don't love is when my tests have come back negative and they call telling me to continue with unnecessary antibiotics. I honestly may be seeking out another care provider for my cats in the future that will not recommend medicating for unnecessary reasons.
I really liked this place because of friendly and professional stuff. They helped me when my dog had problems with his leg and I'm really grateful to them for this.
My new animal hospital and Sphinx loved it and that's all that matters to me. Clean bill of health and nails trimmed. Bring all your animals to her she is an excellent DVM. My first pet and she explained everything to me! Can't wait to bring my little Sphinxie back!!!! Thanx Doc!!!!!
Very friendly
Friendly people. My dog princess loves it there
They friendly
Great place. Very nice staff and vets. They are a small office that gives exceptional service with a personal touch. It's not a big-box store type place. It's a good place.
(Translated) I liked how they treated my puppy at all times, it was very affectionate and attentive (Original) Me gusto como atendieron a mi cachorrito en todo momento fue muy cariñosa y atenta
They were really nice to my doggy
This vet is the best place you can take your pet to for care. I switched a few years ago from Woodbridge vet because they do not have the same level of compassion and care as they do at Hopelawn. The Drs here are genuinely concerned about your animal and they aren't suggesting expensive treatments needlessly like the other vet did. The staff is extremely friendly and are always polite and professional. When we had to put down our beloved 14 year old boxer the day after Christmas last year, it was the most emotional and upsetting experience for me and my husband to endure. The staff at Hopelawn were so compassionate and understanding and gave us as much time as we needed with our dog in her last moments. We even received a condolence card in the mail a few days later with a handwritten note from the vet. I can't say enough about this veterinary clinic and I'm very happy we switched after a suggestion from my cousin. Thank you for being the compassionate people that you are.
They got us in right away
They are amazing. 1 on 1 discussions, they don't rush the visit, very compassionate and patient, and they go above and beyond for you. Highly, highly, HIGHLY recommend them.
They are great.
Great place. The vet was very informative and helpful and was able to answer my questions and educate me on common issues that dogs like mine have. Would definitely recommend this place for anyone's fur babies ❤️
Amazing practice! Wow does Dr. Quinn LOVE Animals and his job. Rainy, the Office Manager, is a GEM and I sincerely think this AAHA accredited practice is one of the BEST in all of New Jersey!!! They are amazing!!
This place is great but can be very expensive if you dont have a pets health insurance
They go above and beyond and are so sweet and caring. They're extremely reasonable price wise and looking out for you and your pet
Excellent service, staff and physician!! Highly recommend this clinic! Calm ,spacious and clean !!
Friendly staff, knowledgeable, kind
The veterinarian was patient, thorough in her explanations and very informative. Our wait before our puppy was seen was only a few minutes. The staff took care of our paperwork and payment quickly. Overall a great experience!
My puppy was adored at this office. Very informative team of pet health care providers, that aren't interested in ripping you off.
Awesome place, my kitties mean the world to me and so does their care. I've always felt amazing taking them there. Everyone is friendly and genuinely interested in your pets health. They take their time with you in every visit and they take their time with getinng your pet to trust them. P.s. I don't think they over vaccinate and over test which is great to me.
Excellent!!
Worst service I ever experienced. If you have extra cash devote to worthy charity instead. Doctor here is a joke
Highly knowledgeable. Very friendly.
I really like Dr. Sokolowski. She recently examined my pet Lovebird, Chico and took very good care of him. He was in for a "wellness" exam only. She gave me a lot of information about Lovebirds in general especially since Chico is my first one. Previously, I owned 2 parakeets who both passed away. I feel confident of Dr. Sokolowski's ability to help my Lovebird and I will certainly return in the future.
Maybe not the best clinic, but in no way the worst... Really cant say much better than this about their staff, maybe try another before settling here, for you pets sake.
Very friendly caring people they are very good with my kitten sonny n very helpful 2 me n keep me informed on what to do for him.very good place 4 pets and there parents love it..keep up the good work..
A few months ago my kitten was refusing to eat or drink and was acting lethargic. I had taken her to Hopelawn before, so I made sure they were open and called. No one answered. I checked the hours again. Still open! I called again, and nothing. I'm desperately trying to get my kitten into a vet before/if things get worse, so I tried one more time. The woman who picked up was obviously annoyed. Sighing and acting like I had asked for the moon. I just wanted her to do her job - answering the phone and helping customers! I could hear people in the back laughing and talking, so perhaps I pulled her away from her obviously very important conversation. More important than her job, apparently. I asked if the vet was in because my kitten was ill. She was very snippy. The vet wasn't in, but I could take my cat somewhere else. Uh, ok? I won't be back. This clinic is only open certain days and has a vet come in even less. Reception is lazy, rude to scared pet owners, and should take a course or two on public relations. I realize this might seem harsh, but every other place I called was kind and understanding. My kitten was treated and recovered well after visiting the Monmouth SPCA. The drive was worth it. Don't go to this clinic.
We had to wait a few minutes before Dr. Maehr saw our dog, but nothing too bad (in other clinics I've waited up to an hour and a half...). She did a very complete wellness exam and addressed all of our concerns and questions. She also gave us suggestions about our pet's diet and exercise. She spent a long time with us and we felt the attention was personalized and attentive. We will definitely go back when needed.
Kind and caring stuff
Very friendly and caring place you do not have to wait long to be seen!
Had very nice experience there. Staff was very helpful and courteous. Dr was very gifted and on time. Unfortunately my dog hurt her leg and might need surgery.
Staff is very friendly and attentive to your pets needs and offer recommendations to maintain your pets well being. Highly recommend, customer service is top notch!
From the front office staff, the Veterinary Assistance and the Veterinary herself, everyone is great ????. They are friendly, helpful and compassionate individuals that is evident they love animals. My 11yr Chesspy ???? needed some vaccines, bloodwork & examination of a cyst on the back of her neck. They all made her feel comfortable during the exam, and during the needle poking process. She's ???? scheduled for a biopsy next week for the cyst, which I'm hoping will be benign. Yet I'm confident she is being taken care of and examined by the best hands locally ????.
My dog Jeter was very sick and in ALOT of Pain. He did have to spend last wkend in the Hospital, and NOW he is HOME & RECOVERING NICELY.... THANK "U" ALL!!!!!
Very caring and thorough.
Excellent service. Parking is terrible though
Went for a checkup. They took Mephistopheles in by him self and then I had a phone conversation with the vet. He didn't seem to upset after the whole thing. Nice ppl here.
Doctors are always patient with the dogs. Always a friendly greeting. All my questions/concerns are addressed.
Love it
Raritan Animal Hospital as well as Hopelawn, Piscataway and Oak Tree are all the BEST! Great doctors, terrific techs and fantastic receptionists! They all wonderful and we love them as does our chihuahua, the Diva, Miss Metu!!
Dr and workers are great with the animals. Very loving care
I like the Raritan animal hospital group. First visit to the Hopelawn Animal Clinic. Staff was super nice and efficient they really cared for my 2 pups. I highly recommend visiting if you need vet care.
Hopelawn Animal Clinic is truly wonderful. My little Pippen is treated with love every time I bring him in. The doctors (especially Dr. Spodnick) are all excellent. Rainy and Sue are always happy to schedule appointments or answer any questions I may have.
Pricey
This place will recommend and charge you for stuff that is absolutely not needed for your dog/cat. Simple nail infection in a dog that likes to run will by turned into x rays under anesthesia just to tell you there is nothing broken and just like that a $50 for some antiseptic is gonna cost you $550 for x rays and antiseptic. Bringing in 2 dogs (both between 75 and 80lb) for annual check up, they get the same check, from the same doctor, on the same day, yet you pay $100 for one dog and $250 for the other. Spay or neuter that can be done at a professional clinic for $350 will cost you $700 plus a 2 day mandatory stay at a hospital for "observation" after the surgery (that is absolutely unnecessary) and that's $150 a day. This are all quotes given to me from 3 different staff members that work at this clinic/hospital.
Hopelawn Animal Clinic is my go to clinic for my cats. The staff is kind, accomadating, compassionate and careing. We are Seniors and the staff always attempts to accomadate us with our appointments. The Doctors are great and so good with our high strong cat. We would not go to any other Vet.
Great service and super nice vet!!!
The staff shows that they are animal lovers and they care!
This establishment is extremely unorganized, unprofessional and negligent. I took my puppy here to get vaccinated and he was only able to get one set due to their staff disorder. Their one doctor had went away and I was not notified, although I had an appointment. I also was never notified me when the doctor would be back. Therefore it ended up being a complete waste of money because it was not able to get completed. Save your money and take your pets elsewhere.
The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and patient. I called when they first opened, and got an early appointment. Which was nice. My pooch was very nervous and excitable. Despite his struggling. The doctor checked him out. Clipped his nails. Gave him peanut butter. He had a slight limp when I brought him in. The medicine and regimen provided by the doctor worked well. In four days he was back on all fours. I would highly recommend Hopelawn Animal Clinic to any pet owner.
Great! Really nice people, and they take good care of my dog
Love the staff and doctors here. Hate the parking lot though!
