I thought my dog was dying back in November because he could not stand up, stopped eating/drinking. Brought him to EBAH, the 3rd visit Dr. Belli kept my dog hospitalized for 3 days and now my dog is back to his old self, always hungry, and can walk (limp) on 4 legs. I am very happy I get my old buddy back. Thank you!!!

This is the most amazing Vet around we adopted a 9 month old from a shelter and realized that night after getting her home that she was very sick I called them and they took us immediately and our poor new puppy was on her death bed but everyone here worked so hard at saving her life and i wouldn't recommend any other vet. All the staff is very helpful and a great pleasure to be around.

We've been taking Gracie to East Brunswick Animal Hospital since we picked her up from the breeder six years ago. We've got two doctors, Drs. Schulze and Kwascz, there who know her well and treat her like she's their own patient. They listen to our concerns, answer questions and have always been there for us in an emergency. We've even had follow-up calls to find out how she's doing after she's been sick. The vet techs are just as caring as the doctors. The reception staff is pleasant and always accommodating. It's just a great experience for us and our dog.

Paul Chaplin

By far, the best vets I have visited. The love and care shown to our furries is exceptional.

Tammy Mastroberte

I can't say enough about how wonderful this animal hospital and Dr. Belli were in an emergency with our goat. They took him in right away on a Sunday, did emergency surgery and saved his life. Dr. Belli always calls back and answers any questions we have, and you can tell he really cares. Thank you so very much for all you did for us!!

Our puppies have been going to EBAH for their entire lives and our dearly departed Spike was seen there as well. We feel that we get Cadillac care with each and every visit. Doctors and staff are top notch and their office hours work with ours.

Great place they make sure your animal is well cared for!

EBAH , please beware. What kind of animal hospital gives dog medication by accident to a cat. SMH. Extremely unprofessional.

Horrible experience. We dropped off our dog who was vomiting and sick. The vet estimated that it would cost somewhere between 400-800 dollars. We expressed to them that we are tight on money but alright we want our dog to get better so really had no option. Throughout the experience we were told that if the price was going to go over the price they would call us. I show up today (to my still vomiting, undiagnosed dog) to get a bag full of medicine to give him no clear diagnosis and a $992.00 bill, 6 X-Rays and they couldn't see anything. They had him over night the least they could have done is cut his nails, his neck is bleeding now, and hes still vomiting. Of course no payment plan options (which after just having a newborn, with my wife being on leave would have helped.) whos got a thousand dollars laying around now adays anyway. My family has been using this vent on and off for 20 years never a problem, until recently. Anyway's im not the type to write bad reviews I never have for anything else in my life, do not go to this vet.

Christine Barsa del Alcazar

I have been taking my dogs to East Brunswick Animal Hospital for about 20 years and there has never been a bad experience. I trust them thoroughly and the care my dogs receive is always superb from literally birth through death. Dr. Belli is simply wonderful and his staff are also excellent and immensely caring. I always recommend the practice to whomever has pets.

They helped us with our puppy after hours, thank you so much

EBAH has been my go to for my dog Sasha since day one. It was highly recommended by many of my friends and upon my first visit, I knew it was a perfect match. Dr. Sierki is always professional and takes great care of Sasha. People say dogs and cats hate going to the vet, but under Dr. Sierki's care Sasha is always happy to see her.

Kathryn DeGennaro

The doctors and staff here are unbelievable. Kind, patient and so helpful. We had an emergency with one of our cats and they stayed open late (until 9pm) so the doctor could evaluate her and we didn't have to go to an emergency vet where we would have spent triple for less conclusive answers from a doctor we didn't even know. We live in Edison now but continue to travel to EB Animal Hospital and will continue to do so.

Brought my cat Harley there around Christmas time for what I thought was a cold . He wasn't acting right and was hiding but congested and had runny eyes. So of course. A cold or virus. The vet did a complete check up, ears, eyes, heart....so on. Have him an antibiotic shot an sent us home. He was fine until mid February. He started to hide again. So I isolated him from the rest of the animals, noticed he wasn't going to the bathroom. Contacted an old vet I used to go to and we treated him constipation. Went to the bathroom but was still hiding. He was eating and drinking normally but when he came out to walk he started to fall over. He couldn't use his hind legs. So, took him back to my other vet and she did a full work up. His heart turns out was not beating at a normal rythem. One of his eyes was also slightly larger. After some treatment he did not improve. He got worse and I had to say goodbye to him. This did not happen over night. Why didn't EBAH notice the difference in his eyes or his abnormal heart beat in December? They told me he was fine. I'll never return to EBAH or recommend them to anyone. Had this been caught in December I may not have been able to save his life, but he may have been with me a little longer

This placed caused us multiple ER visits, multiple ER bills, and the death of our first dog.........This place is NOT as great as the reviews has mentioned. With so many doctors, it's hard to keep track who actually is good or professional. Our first dog, my wife's best friend, was mis-diagnosed, given the wrong meds, vomited and had diarrhea. Tried calling the vet who treated him, Sierke, who never called back. When we tried to reach Dr Sierke again, the receptionist says 'she's not going to answer the phone' because she was getting ready to leave...smh...we ended going to the ER, and losing him because of all the precious time wasted and wrong treatment...there's no accountability when there's guess work with doctors.. We brought our second dog in, reluctantly, after a couple of years from the above incident, just simply to do bloodwork, did not want to make an appt w a vet because we didn't trust the docs. We just wanted simple blood work to be done so we can send it to our regular vet (who unfortunately is much further away). The tech's (or maybe even the vet) can't even administer a simple blood withdrawal from jugular. Look at the pics, just ridiculous. He has never had bruises from any other vets/hospitals (he gets his blood drawn at least 6x a year because of his diseases and conditions). 20+ years of having pets, many blood tests, we've never seen this from anywhere else. So of course upon seeing the bruises, we didn't at know at first what it was, blood clot or some other internal issues. Called ER and a friend who is a vet - their words were dogs don't bruise easily (unless hit aggressively or an accident) most cases they've seen were blood clots, they told us to bring him asap and not to wait until until morning for our vet to open. After hearing this we took him to the ER. Got to the ER, spoke to doc, ran some test and comparing our blood work from just 4 days prior they asked if the vet that drew the blood took blood from the jugular, I said 99% sure because when i got him back from EBAH he was soaked and reeked of alcohol. FYI: they never let you watch them take blood (now i know why) The ER doc concluded it was because of the way EBAH took the blood, poor sloppy, bad work from whoever try to draw blood from our poor pup. What they did to my dog can be considered abuse. I don't know what fluffy response I will get from back from the vet but truth is that i've had horrible experiences with EB Animal Hospital prior, thats why i dont see the vets there, didn't think they could mess up bloodwork either. Due to EBAH screw up again it caused us a $300 ER bill, hours at the ER, the anxious and worry feeling you feel for your pup. I really dislike the vets at EBAH, I really tried to like them, I really did. it's only 5 mins away from my house and there's so many vets here, but they always disappoint. They were horrible a few years back when our first dog was really sick. If you care about your pets stay away from here, you'll end up losing them like I did and or spending more $$$$ at the ER just to fix what they did.

Staff were very friendly. After registering as a new pet, appointments are very easy to make. We literally called at 1 pm one day, and got a vet appointment at 6. Very prompt. The exam fee was also reasonable.

I’ve been with this practice since 1986 and have NEVER been disappointed!! Dr. Faragher is AWESOME!! Dr. Anita is WONDERFUL!! The techs are SUPER!! I know that when i bring my dogs here, they are in the BEST hands possible. EBAH is, by far, the safest, most trustworthy, honest facility in town. Thank you guys for your continued assistance. PS: I called at 7:30 pm tonite and was immediately assisted with a complete response to my inquiry. Without even asking, the receptionist volunteered to forward via email the requested information. I greatly appreciated her kindness and proficiency. ????????????????????????♥️♥️♥️

Sandra

The place isn't really a looker but their service is what you really go for. The doctor I took my cat to was very friendly and very helpful. My super shy baby warmed up fairly quick which is saying something!

Lydia Pietraczenko

The staff and veterinarian were very supportive and professional when we had to send our cat over the rainbow bridge. Thank you for your kindness.

Johnny

I took my Yorkshire terrier to the vet clinic we've been to since a baby. Right a way they wished to euthanize him because of his condition anxiously and irrationally. Luckily I chose Not! Got blood work and went to EB Animal hospital, i found checkin web. They took me right a way, and were the best professional staff, and we were seen by a wonderful Veterinary Doctor, who professionally assessed the problem, kept my baby for hours for monitoring and came up with a solution, not death. Still full of life and home tonight. Reasonable in price as well, and their compassion is priceless. Thank you EB Hospital and Doctor B. My Buster found his new doctor. Bless you all????✌

R. Jeff Lewis

The EB Animal Hospital took my puppy in for an appointment immediately today even though I was not a regular patient (I am now!!). Dr Desmond was excellent!! Very friendly, thorough and caring. My pup is now officially a new patient / member of EB Animal Hospital after today's excellent response and treatment????????

Update: I just saw the response from the owner below, and I am not mistaken. I spoke with the office manager several times and was told there was nothing that could be done. The fact that you cannot find my records is just another testament to how horrible this practice is. Also, reading the owner responses on other negative reviews shows how truly unprofessional this place is. When people are legitimately complaining about your practice, it doesn't help to be defensive and constantly advocate for your atrocious unprofessionalism and malpractice. It looks like a lot of people's pets suffered and/or died at the hands of your "practitioners." Maybe try listening to the feedback and implementing new policies and business practices? I truly hope this place gets shut down. Original Review: I wish I could give zero stars. This place is awful. They almost killed my dog by not doing proper Xrays and giving the wrong medication. All they care about is money and they make you wait forever every single appointment. After waiting almost an hour past my appointment time on several occansions, they would literally look at my dog for 3 minutes and tell me I need to come back, just to make more money. Different vet every time . After they almost killed my dog, I tried contacting the owners to file a proper complaint. Never got a call back. Told the administrator that I deserved some of my money back (all together I probably spent $10,000 here), and she scoffed at me. Avoid at all costs.

Kristen Olsen

East Brunswick Animal Hospital is great. They are very accommodating for same-day appointments, the wait time is well within reasonable, and staff is extremely helpful. The front desk was timely and friendly, while the vet was very professional. I appreciated that she took the extra step to review my dog’s history before seeing us. Not the most affordable, but quite frankly you get what you pay for!

Robert Schwall

Had to put my 15 year old dog down during covid. They did it the best way possible immediately. While other places wanted me to wait 4 hours or drive an hour while my dog was in pain. Great place and great people

Sharon Biles

I love the veterinarians, everyone of them. The entire staff are helpful and animal lovers. They understand what is like to have a loved pet become ill. They are very friendly. I feel comfortable leaving my beloved pets in their care.

Nicole W

Have been coming here for 10 years. They are always available, compassionate and they have never tried to sell us services we didn’t need for our dogs. They have never ripped us off or have been dishonest. They take incredible care of our dogs. We trust EB Animal Hospital 100%! What can we say, we love them and wouldn’t go anywhere else. Thank you for being a great business to work with!

JULIANNE GONCALVES

Every time I call they are literally the rudest people I have ever dealt with over the phone. I have put up with the rudeness long enough and there were instances even before the pandemic where I honestly felt like I was a bother just for calling in. Definitely need to teach better customer service skills, especially as a receptionist... whoever answers the phone always has the biggest attitude and it seems like they don’t even care for their job, which is definitely not the attitude one should put out when you work with animals.

Alex Silecchia

After a terrible experience at a different vet when my dog needed surgery I was recommended this place by a friend and they were super patient and good with handling my pup. I now bring my cats here too always have a positive experience

This is the ONLY place I will take my pets! Awesome all around!

I'm gonna start out by saying that the staff is really sweet and friendly. And that if you have a new puppy who simply needs a physical exam or updated shots this vet is great. But if you have a dog who's having complicated problems DONT GO HERE. I took my dog in to see them in September with severe diarrhea they didn't believe what I was saying about the severity of her symptoms. They found her diabetes right away after doing a thorough blood test but they ignored other levels on her blood test that pointed to different health issues. I had to request a stool test in December when she was still havingh watery diarrhea because they had seen her multiple times and still hadn't done one. Finally a couple weeks ago I felt in my gut to ask for a detailed print out of bloodwork they had taken in October. My small dog had lost 7 pounds and was in REALLY BAD SHAPE. I was worried for her life. When I saw the albumin levels protein levels etc. i did some research and I suggested PLE. The vet said "oh that's a good thought". That's when I knew it was time to switch. Within one visit with my new vet they have me on a medical regimen for PLE they didn't require any more super expensive tests like the other vet and my dog is already improving. The actions we're taking now should have been done in October when the first signs of PLE were in the bloodwork. I feel like East Brunswick animal hospital is always really really busy because they cram as many patients into the day as possible which doesn't leave much room for taking the time to research, think through complicated health issues. But again they are sweet people, great for simple stuff. I was just extremely disappointed with my experience.

I gotta day EBAH has been very attentive to our needs over the years. Always squeezing us in for emergencies or last minute visits and doing their best to consult us over the phone in the meantime. The staff there is really great and helpful and they do go out of their way to help you and make you feel comfortable. We used to see Dr. Schulze who was amazing and compassionate and informative, ever since she left this location. We’ve seen a few different doctors, some of which made us feel as if we were bad dog parents for our pup getting ill, so it did slightly turn us off. However, thankfully today we came across Dr. Jessica Francisco who was great! She was kind, informative and compassionate for our concerns big or small. She listened to what we had to say and did not disregard us in any fashion. She will definitely be our preferred vet going forward!

East Brunswick has been my dogs primary since he was 9 weeks old. It's a far drive for us (25 minutes) and we pass other well known closer vet offices however this animal hospital is reasonable in price, has excellent doctors and technicians, wont sell you on unnecessary things, and tend to look at natural remedies instead of pumping your pet full of medications unless necessary. Recently, this hospital saved my boxer's life as he swallowed a pacifier and it became stuck in his intestines. Prior to this, he was lethargic and clearly in pain. He was trying to throw something up but couldn't. We rushed him to a 24 hour vet and long story short, they couldn't find too much wrong with him. The next day he was in severe pain, threw up brown stuff and collapsed. I called East Brunswick and drove him over. They took him right in, performed tests, found the blockage, and was operated on a few hours later which saved him! The doctors would call twice a day (once in the morning and once at night) to give an update on his progress. Our dog was in the hospital from Friday morning until Tuesday afternoon which is along time and we endured several frustrations with the hospital which is why I have issued them only 4 stars. Most dogs are sent home day 2 or 3. Our boxer is terrified of the vet and loud sounds so being here for 4 nights took a toll on him. He didn't eat the entire time at the vet so they couldn't release him. It wasn't until Monday that we were invited to visit him (why not sooner???) and were allowed to bring foods to try to get him to eat. He ended up eating out of our hand peanut butter and plain yogurt mixed together. As a result, it was determined he would do better at home but he had to keep his food down for the night which he did. We picked him up the next day and now he's almost back to himself. PROS: - Very thorough. Doctors did worry about our pet and ran tests and x-rays prior to release to make sure his stomach and intestines weren't leaking prior to release (and because he wasn't eating). - Affordable and only necessary things were given and performed. - Very clean facility - Staff was nice and did their best to answer questions. - Excellent and professional surgery. Our dog is doing great so far with his recovery at home and doesn't show any signs of pain or discomfort. - Technicians were clearly trained and very professional. - They're very organized and have appropriate social distancing procedures. - Easy to transfer records to this location. Doctors clearly looked over his transfer records from the 24 hour vet. - SAVED OUR DOGS LIFE! CONS: - Need improvement on communication. Some doctors would rush through phone calls and others wouldn't call for updates. - Get background info on how pet reacts to being at the vet. Our dog is terrified of the vet, loud sounds, and being in a cage... all of which happened and hindered his recovery. - Missing discharge paperwork packet. Now I have to drive 25 minutes to and 25 minutes from to pick up paperwork. Cost $4,380 for 5 days. We are blessed to have pet insurance which will cover a large portion of this. Here are some of the bigger items on the bill. Hope this helps. General Anesthesia = $380 Office Exam/ Consultation = $68 Cauterization = $93 X-Rays = Vary depending on films or exposures, method and locations? = $160 to 180 Surgery / Enterotomy $1,100 Hospitalization = $86 per day Medicines / Fluids = About $300 per day Vet Screening/CBS STAT = $183 Hope this helps!

I got a puppy about a month ago. One night my larger dog attacked the puppy over a toy he was playing with. I immediately called the vet even thought i knew they were closing soon. They told me to come in to have my puppy evaluated to make sure he didn't have any internal injuries. It really warmed my heart that they stayed open late to make sure my puppy was okay. He ended up being fine but it meant so much to me that they stayed open just to see him. Not another single animal was there. All the nurses were so concerned and so nice and so was the doctor. Very caring people that work here. Wouldn't go anywhere else

Jacqueline Krantz (lovejackiexoxo)

I had a great experience with the vet but the receptionist was very rude and made me uncomfortable. Right when I came in she yelled at me to fill in a form that I wasn’t told to fill out beforehand and was very disrespectful- one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had.

Stephen Marinaro

They are verrrrryyyyy busy and chaotic but they always manage to do a great job and offer awesome care for my dog Bella.

Terry C.

I was bringing my cat here years ago. They charged fairly and were good but recently I brought them another cat and had an issue, so I took him there. Dr. Cutillo and Dr. Francisco were the main doctors dealing with me and to be honest, they were both rude and unprofessional. Simply asking questions, they would snap back at me as if I'm supposed to know the answer. Bad overall attitudes. I kept bringing the cat here on multiple visits for the same exact issue but they were basically clueless to finding a solution. Just kept billing me for the visits. When I decided to ask for my money back because I ended up taking him somewhere else and solved the problem, they refused. Dr. Justin Cutillo was so rude when I told him of my issues and confronted him about their lack of professionalism. I ended up hanging up on him and opening up a chargeback with my credit card company. I am never coming here again. Not even for a simple shot.

I cannot express how wonderful this Vets office is. I called them at 830 in the morning not knowing what to do about my 4yr old yellow lab. Overnight she became unresponsive and having seizures. The women on the phone was so understanding and concerned. Told me to bring her right in. When I got there they sent someone out to my car right away to take her in for me. The Vet was incredible! He did everything he could. Unfortunately she could not be saved. When it was time to make the decision to put her down he explained everything to me and was so helpful and caring in helping me through the process. Worst decision I ever had to make. I cannot express my graditude to everyone in that office.

Paul Lee

Excellent veterinarian, they are extremely accommodating for the scheduling and very caring about the animals. I bought my cat in for a regular shot with the technician, but Dr. Sierke came in and performed an evaluation free of charge just to make sure my cat is doing well. I will continue to come here. Pricing is average pricing, but the service is above and beyond.

Chaeyoung Oh

After we went in for an appointment we booked online AND GOT A CONFIRMATION EMAIL FOR they had the audacity to tell us it wasnt in the system because they werent taking appointments online anymore. They could have just left it there but the receptionists had to take it further and be the nastiest most disrespectful excuses for human beings to my mother who strugglss with english. Been coming here for almost ten years because the vets themselves are amazing, but the receptionists never change. Never again.

Vanessa De Oliveira

I made a last minute appointment on a Saturday bevause my dog was not feeling well and my usual vet told me they were booked over a week out. Based on my first visit to East Brunswick Animal Hospital, I think I found my new go to! From the initial call scheduling an appointment, to check in, and our consult with the Vet, everyone was incredibly friendly and attentive. It was slightly busy but they have plenty of seating available and worked through their appointments seemingly fast (including an emergency walk in that came in while I was waiting to pay after my visit). The staff's compassion shows and is refreshing to see. I also like that they have an easy to use form on their site you can fill out ahead of time if you're a new client. They are partnered with the app PetPro Connect wherr you can sign up (for free) to easily access your pet's vet records, schedule appointments and I believe ask questions with the practice directly.

Alonzo Lamar

Attempted to make an appointment for my dog numerous times. Was left on hold and eventually hung up on. Tried a few more times and whoever picks up the phone hang right back up????????

Tim Lehman

The staff is all very nice and there's always willing to help you with your pet. I wish they would buy a little wheeled wagon of some sort for large pets that are hard/need to be carried in.

Ed Tracy

Best animal hospital I ever been too and every Veterinarian I have seen are amazing they care & take time with you & your pet. It sometimes has a wait past appointment time but not always & usually isn’t to long but this happens when you have a great staff & veterinarians.

Debbie Bloom

My family has been taking our pets (mostly cats, & an occasional ferret) to the EBAH since they opened. I always know my kitties will be taken great care of. Dr. Farragher genuinely cares about every animal she meets with.

First of all, I would like to thank the entire staff of East Brunswick animal hospital for taking such wonderful care of my baby Lucky all these years. Lucky, my German Shepard dog passed away on 5/21/19 about a week ago at the age of 13&1/2 years. He was our old man.We miss him terribly .Lucky had an autoimmune skin condition that caused him to have raw wounds which initially was misdiagnosed but later correctly diagnosed and treated by Dr. Francisco. She is really wonderful but so are all the docs there. For the work they put they are under appreciated. Lucky also developed a benign tumor 2 years ago along with arthritis and constantly having open sores. He lived with a death warrant for more than 2 years thanks to my children and hubby. Again I humbly thank the entire staffs of EB Animal hospital by staying with us through our happy and difficult times with Lucky .

Decided to go to East Brunswick Animal Hospital to spay my cat. The surgery was ok but one very big problem, My cat claw were cut so low to the skin could see blood on each one of them, The digital paws were red and full of blood I took pictures. I don't understand why would they hurt my cat. f it was a mistake they probably would had make one claw bleed but each one of them is just cruel. My little cat is small only weights 9 pounds. I feel betrayed. They should train better whoever did that to my cat. I would never trust them with my cat.

Chris Flores

it seems to me that the doctors there are in it only for the money. they're giving shots and vaccines now without giving you a choice if you want it or not. I asked, "can I give him benadryl for the swellen?" he said yes but I'm going to give him something better. Next thing I know my bill went up to $120! My dog is also now traumatized for a previous event and won't let anyone cut his nails because the last time a doctor there made two of his paws bleed and didn't show any care for him.

Chrissy Fanning

My cat has had some health issues, and EBAH and especially Dr. Sierke have been wonderful. We have been in at least once a month for the past several months, and only once had to wait more than 10 minutes to see her. The front desk staff is very friendly and the vet techs are helpful and knowledgeable. Recommended to my friend who was unhappy with her current vet, and she loved seeing Dr. Sierke and switched vets! Keep up the great work

Rich A (Rich)

Seems to have taken a step or two backwards. Medication renewals are through a voicemail system. Sometimes you get them. Sometimes you don’t. Appointments not scheduled in advance are subject to “ emergency visit” charge which is kinda silly because it’s SO easy to predict when your dog or cat is going to need a visit to the vet. The doctors themselves are great but the administrative end is fair at best.

Liz T

We bring our cat and dog to East Brunswick Animal Hospital. They are always friendly - front desk staff, vet techs, veterinarians - and best of all, treat everyone in our human and furry family with respect. We came to this practice because our dog is timid and needs gentle care from the vet. The staff at East Brunswick is spectacular and never makes us feel bad about it. Our dog has improved since coming to this practice. The hours are also very accommodating and the practice can take you in an emergency. I highly recommend them!

Esteban Paredes

Great service, I came in fir a walk in appointment and the doctor who took care my little puppy was amazing , very concerned about my puppy health and gave in a great treatment, now I'm having them as a regular vet for my puppies ????

Yesterday, our dog Maggie who weighs 8 lbs went into labor. I noticed something wrong with pup #2. He was stuck and she was in pain. I called our normal vet in OB on Rt 516 and was told to hold on so she can ask the doctor and then told there was no doctor there. That was a big turn off since I spend so much money there for all my other pets. Anyhow, I googled and found this hospital with one call they took my info and said to come right away. From the moment I got in there, they took Maggie and her pup immediately and tended to her with such great care! The staff is amazing! They are so nice and compassionate. Dr. Belli cared for Maggie, delivered her 2nd pup who had no heartbeat. And then 10 mins later had a faint one. Also, delivered her 3rd and helped Maggie tremendously with her pain and anxiety. He was very understanding of what she was going through. He took the time to walk us through every step and even guide us on to what we were to expect. The staff made sure to advise us that they would be opened the next few days if we needed them for either mom or the pups. For my first visit being an emergency, this hospital gained a new client for our other pets. Highly recommended!

My family has been taking all of our animals to East Brunswick Animal Hospital for many years now. We've brought in hamsters, dogs, guinea pigs, and cats. Each and every staff member --from the doctors, to the vet techs and assistants, to the receptionists-- are absolutely fantastic. They are kind, compassionate, and very knowledgeable. A few of our pets were consistently anxious upon arriving at the office, but the vet techs and vet assistants did a magnificent job with helping them feel safe. Several times we've had emergency issues with a few of our pets, and each time EBAH made it a top priority so that our pet could be seen that day. Sadly, over the years, my family had to put several of our pets to sleep. During these trying times, the entire staff at EBAH was incredible. They made a very difficult situation more manageable with their calm and caring demeanor. Lastly, about a year and a half ago I got a female Wheaten Terrier puppy named Tesla (“Tess”), and visiting EBAH continues to be an absolute pleasure. I am very much looking forward to having EBAH care for and monitor her health for many, many years to come!

Tamara Ramos-Sadel

Moved to the area late 2013 from Brooklyn, I was a bit nervous not having my awesome vet around. Went to EBAH due to the distance from me, less than 5 mins and they have great hours - late hrs during the week. Have been seeing Dr Losso for all my 5 furry babies - 3 cats 2 dogs. She's gentle, answers my questions, and is very knowledgeable. Staff is overall friendly and attentive. Quality practice.

Bruce Jaffe

Been treating our dogs there for over 20 years and they treat the dogs with loving care

Michael-Tyrone Emmanuel

I really like the staff and the attention that Dr Francisco gives to my fur baby(lol).

I have a pet plan at another location and but they were closed on sunday so i brought my dog here to be admitted overnight when she was throwing up for an unknown reason. Dr. Belli and the staff were so patient, so nice and so thorough. Dr. Belli, in particular was fantastic about assessing Bella, explaining the workup and executing his plan. His expertise and experience showed. Additionally, he was kind enough to speak to me even though I called a 100 times in a 48 hour period. Thank you to the whole team. PS. the prices were very reasonable

I have adopted 8 stray cats over the last 15 years. I have dealt with diabetes, heart disease, and cancer in 4 of my fur babies. Every one of them have come to East Brunswick Animal Hospital and received top quality care. Every single doctor there is compassionate and kind during all phases of treatment... and the techs who handle the pets, are AMAZING. It takes special people to calm a sick and hurting pet. This office is also very accommodating for emergencies. While the waiting room can get crazy, and appointments backed up, always remember that the well being of our pets is more important than being mildly inconvenienced.. when i was losing one of my babies, they squeezed me during my darkest hour, now when i have a regular visit, i am more understanding when someone else needs to be rushed in. It may not be the prettiest or biggest facility, but the doctors have more love and concern for animals than other other place I know of. Special thanks to Dr Schulze and Dr. Farragher.

Mr DB

Such a great experience! We’ve been going to this location for about three years now, changing from a vet we were less than impressed with. We’ve consistently seen Dr. Francisco, who is lovely and so kind. We have two cats, and one had to have dental surgery here that went very well. The new app and appointment system is easy to use so far and a welcome addition. No issues with the location or facilities, as well. Thank you, EBAH!

David Donaldson

Very happy with my first visit. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great experience at this hospital. Will highly help to everyone.

Joanne Mullanaphy

I've been using this hospital for over 29 years. All of the doctors are very caring. Their staff is very friendly, especially Claudia. My sister also uses this hospital and she is also extremely satisfied with their care. Even though there are other animal hospitals closer to my home, I would never go to any other. They are terrific!

Laura farley

I am furever grateful for the hard work and dedication of the doctors and staff of EBAH for keeping my 2 babies alive in their fight with parvo. They answered every question and spoke to us multiple times a day while the girls were in their ICU care. Prim and Beckett have recovered beautifully thanks to them

Coins S

Called to get my animals records emailed to me. Waited and waited and never recieved them. Called again and they said they sent it. I did not recieve it, not in my inbox or spam folder. Don't care for the workers but the doctors are pretty okay.

My wife and I just moved back to NJ from 14 years in Alabama where we had awesome vets there and hated to leave them. We prayed that when moving back that we would find just as good as we left behind. God answered our prayers by directing us to Dr. Belli and his staff. We have 2 dogs and 2 cats and since we have been back, we have had to take both dogs to EBAH because they both had problems. Took one visit each to help them get better which they both did and are doing great. Dr. Belli is awesome, he takes his time to explain and to answer any questions we might have and is very very personable and knowlegeble. John and the others we have had contact with are really nice as well. Everyone in both our families have pets and are also very pleased with everyone at EBAH. Thank you Dr. Belli and staff for being there for all of us. We love you all. John & Michelle

My dog Jojo had a bad skin condition that our first vet couldn't resolve. I went to East Brunswick Animal Hospital and saw Dr. Laurie Farragher and it was a totally different experience. First of all, my dog LOVED HER. You can tell she really loves dogs by the way she treats them. Jojo's skin looks awesome now due to her good care. I would never go anywhere else except East Brunswick Animal Hospital!

Stacey Perry

Upon a recommendation of a friend I brought my kitty to EBAH. I couldn’t be more impressed, the exceeded every expectation including updates on my fur-child without me even calling. I highly praise Dr. Laurie F (not sure on how to spell her last name) and staff. A+++ from Ranger the tiny kitty ????☺️

Kevin Mattivi

Dr. Daniel Belli is great. He has a wonderful bedside manner and takes the time to explain what's going on with your pet.

S Russo

Dr. Iyer was very compassionate and helpful and gave me great advice regarding my itchy and allergic cat. She was very helpful and I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for help with their sick pets!

kyle price

Brought my dog for his first visit and they were very organized with taking animals back and forth from the building and other patrons cars. Got him back to me super quick and I scheduled a teeth cleaning for the next morning. When I brought him they found an issue and called me up and explained it, we took care of it, and he's happier and healthier than ever even missing tooth. These are great people that truly care about your animals.

Katharine Jaworski

Dr. Farragher lacked compassion and patience when it came to my sick dog. She was annoyed when I asked questions and when my dogs condition had gotten worse, she told me to call back if it did, she never returned my call. We went elsewhere where we were better treated and my dog then got better. I am unsure how the other vets are here, they may be great, but we will not be returning because of our experience.

Stephani Velloso

If you have an emergency do not come to this place. My dog was throwing up blood and I made an appt and came on time. On the phone they mentioned to fill out the paperwork online so I could just get in, when I got there this lady gave me an attitude pointing to other dogs in the room saying she had no idea how long it was going to take and I have to wait outside. It’s 43°F, my dog is sick and she wanted me to wait outside. What a JOKE!

Rachel Heiry

My family has been bringing all of our pets here for as long as I can remember. My husband and I now being our basenji and two cats. The staff are very friendly and compassionate. The front desk staff always greet us as soon as we come in, no matter how busy they are. Dr. Castillo always takes the time to discuss and explain the health of our pets. When we took our dog to another vet for an after hours emergency last year, he followed up with a call to make sure everything was okay. We wouldn't trust anyone else with our pets.

Shyam Gusani

Dr Greenberg is the only vet I trust when I got my first puppy. She does an incredible job of making my puppy comfortable and following up when the puppy is sick. Office staff is very helpful too. Great job to EB Animal Hospital!

Michelle N

We have been using EBAH for many years. Dr. Belli was the first to see each of our last 4 dogs for their spay surgeries. My current pet developed a back problem at age 3 and Dr. Farragher has been a wonderful partner in managing her care. She is now 9, and thriving with her disability. Dr. Farragher is a no BS vet - she won't make you do tests or procedures just to make money, she gives her honest opinions. I trust her. I have also seen other vets over the years at EBAH and have had good experiences.

Ruth B.

Iv'e been taking my pets to East Brunswick Animal Hospital for almost twenty years and have always felt confident that they are getting the best care possible. The doctors, as well as the staff, are always extremely nice and seem genuinely happy to do their jobs. The fact that my German Shepard (who has a chronic medical condition, and needs to visit the office quite often) LOVES going there, speaks for itself!

Maryana Parobchak

Very very very disappointed with this Animal Hospital. Long story short – my cat became blocked back in January. We brought him to this hospital and he was given antibiotics and sent home. The next day we took him back because the antibiotics did nothing for a blocked cat. We did 2 catheter procedures and he was sent home each time after they said he was “going to the bathroom normally”. I do not believe this to be true AT ALL. He was NOT going to the bathroom at home. We were willing to do EVERYTHING we could to save our cat’s life – we put him in the hands of the vets at EB Animal Hospital and I will regret this for the rest of my life. We ended up going through the PU surgery (which was not a typical PU surgery- they had to open his stomach because they could not get the catheter in this time), our cat was recovering in the hospital for 2 weeks and we were visiting him every day. They said his recovery was great. They sent him home on a Wednesday saying, again, that he was going to the bathroom fine and AGAIN at home, he was not going to the bathroom. On Friday morning of that week we had to bring him in to remove the stitches. He was dead weight at that point. I carried him to the vet in his bed- he did not move, he did not know what was going on at all. We were told we were going to get a call in an hour and a half to 2 hours. We did not get a call so I called myself and was told that the vet took our cat in late because they were swamped with emergencies – AS IF MY BLOCKED CAT WAS NOT AN EMERGENCY TO BE TAKEN CARE OF. We then get a call from the vet explaining the situation and basically saying that our cat obstructed again and we had a choice to put the catheter in again. At that point we were done torturing him and had to put him down that night. I think about what we went through and what we put our cat through every day and REGRET taking him to this hospital. When we went in to put our cat down we were told that when the vet was doing the surgery and opened his stomach, it was “a mess in there”. IF IT WAS A MESS IN THERE WHY WERE WE NOT CALLED AND NOTIFIED RIGHT AWAY LIKE THEY PROMISED THEY WOULD?! RIDICULOUS!!!!! WHY WOULD YOU CONTINUE THE SURGERY AND HAVE THE CAT WAKE UP IF HE’S A MESS?!?!?!?!!?!?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I AM FURIOUS AND WILL NEVER GET OVER THIS!!!!!! THERE IS NO PASSION FOR ANIMALS HERE – IT’S ALL ABOUT THE MONEY!!!!!!!! THAT IS MY OPINION AND I WILL NEVER FORIGVE THIS PLACE!!!! I now have over $3000 in bills and NO CAT!!!!!!!!!! The young ladies at the front desk were very nice and Dr. Cutillo is the only that listened to me when I came to speak with him after this whole situation. Please, if your cat is blocked and the 1st catheter procedure does not work, DO NOT CONTINUE TO A SECOND CATHETER PROCEDURE – DO THE SURGERY BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE BECAUSE CATS CAN ONLY HANDLE SO MUCH. DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE YOU PUT YOUR CAT IN SOMEONE’S HANDS!!

Timothy De Stefano

They were great at handling my dog who can be very wary of other people and medical tools. they were also clean and very reasonably priced for a vet's. They didn't run any unnecessary tests to jack up my bill either. I did have to wait a while though because they were very busy. It was worth it.

Robert Mandell

Professional staff, caring Dr. Even though they are very busy you don't feel like they are rushing through your pets situation

Aly C

Receptionist (don’t know her name) seems very abrasive. A few days ago I was put on hold for 15minutes not due to being busy though because I asked if they were busy and she was weirdly laughing just sounding very annoyed from the beginning. Then I was “disconnected” from the call. I called back twice with no answer. Finally she answered while laughing into the phone which was super odd and again put me on hold for another 10minutes and came back to the line super annoyed that I even wanted an appointment for my fur baby. Idk At this point I just didn’t feel comfortable.

Veronica Morris

Dr. Greenberg is the best Veterinarian. She cared for my eighteen-year old cat, and was so comforting when she died. Dr. Greenberg sent a card with Whiskers' footprint. This is something I will cherish. The entire staff is excellent, and very professional.

Nancy Ortiz

I am glad I chose East Brunswick animal hospital for my puppy Mac. They accommodate you for urgent appointments. The veterinarians are very caring and nice. The front staff and techs are very nice..

Lindsea C-V

Everyone who works here is absolutely wonderful. I've been bringing my guinea pigs here for years. The first time I brought my guinea pig here, she was seen by Dr. Belli, who is so sweet and definitely knows so much about guinea pigs! Dr. Farragher is also wonderful. She's taken care of three of my guinea pigs, and always is so friendly with them. It's hard to find a veterinary practice that you can trust with guinea pigs, because they can be so tricky to diagnose and treat. I would never think of bringing my animals anywhere else but here. The techs are just lovely too, all of them are so kind with my animals, especially Steve who has taken care of my guinea pigs several times. The doctors here are very thorough in explaining what's wrong with the animal, and they always give several options for treatment and explain the pros and cons of each option. This is such a great practice, especially if you have guinea pigs!

Bridget Hlava

We have been bringing our pets to this practice on and off for 15 years (and only "off" when we moved out of the area and it was impractical to get there). Returning after a number of years, we were surprised that the staff remembered our dog that passed away over 9 years earlier!! Now THAT is a staff that cares for their patients!!! When we first switched to EB Animal Hospital, we were trying to manage a chronic arthritic condition in our dog. Another practice had us spending tons of money, and countless visits with no success. Our Vet at EBAH took a much more practical approach. She reviewed our options and explained the risks and benefits of each, allowing us to make an educated decision regarding our pet's care. Ultimately we accepted that he would have a shorter lifespan, but he was able to live out his years happy and comfortable. More recently one of our dogs became suddenly, gravely ill. One of the doctors came in on a Sunday so they could perfom a specific test, and when it turned out our dog needed emergecy surgery, one of the other doctors came in to assist. We have seen first hand how the doctor's and staff at EBAH will regularly go over and above for their patients and families. Would recommend this practice to anyone concerned with quality, genuine care for their pet.

Carol Choffo

Three years ago my dog, Bailey was sick. I called my regular vet who I used for over ten years told me there were no appointments available that day. I knew my dog had to be seen. I called East Brunswick Animal Hospital who didn't know me and the receptionist after I explained what was going on said to me "it sounds like you better bring her right in." I walked into your waiting room which was jam packed. Here after 10 years my vet "couldn't fit her" and you, who didn't know us, made room. The vets there were so kind. After all these years I still recommend you to anyone who is looking for an animal hospital. Thank-you again.

Djuna Meskhi

Each time I call I am always put on hold for up to 15 minutes. Doctor was not coming out to speak (sometimes they did, but not with us) and that’s why we had to wait for approx an hour in total to explain what is wrong and wait for a new prescription. Everything takes a very long time as they are not allowing anybody inside. The staff is friendly and willing to help but organization is disappointing.

Amit Kulkarni

Super friendly staff and very knowledgeable Vets and support staff. Got my dog here for his yearly shots. We were in and out within a half hour. The place is pet and wallet friendly!! No unnecessary pushing of tests or procedures. Just plain simple questions about my dog and done. Would highly recommend this place.

Pat Clemente

Over the last year, I have observed that all of the Doctors and staff are animal lovers and it shows in the excellent care that they provide. I trust my pet to them with the utmost confidence and rely on their expertise to keep my Egyptian Mau in peak condition. Also, they are friendly and extremely accomodating with appointments and testing. I would not even think of going to any other Animal Hospital due to their well run facility and professional, yet personal treatment of both the pets and their adopters.

Susan Messler

My family and I have been taking my pets to EB Animal Hospital since my first pet in the 1970's. They have always been so kind and caring from immunizations to having to put my pet to sleep. I wouldn't use any other facility.

mckeen100287

My wife and I just got our dog spayed on the 30th. The doctor we dealt with is absolutely fantastic, and she called us immediately after our dog was spayed. However, one thing we are not very happy with was the fact that they sent my dog home covered in vomit. The report I received said everything was fine, and our dog did great all day/overnight. Yes she did get spayed, yes she's expected to be sick, no I don't expect you to hover over her every second of the day, but yes, I expect you to let me know that you attempted to "clean" her up with a baby wipe. Instead, my dog still smells of vomit/bile, and her fur is stained yellow because of it. A little more effort should've been put forth before releasing her back to us. With that being said.....We are unsure if we will return to this establishment.

Elaine M.

I am so very grateful to Dr. Belli, the vet techs and staff. Mr. Peabody was diagnosed with a very rare and aggressive cancer. We were recommended to EBAH by another veterinarian. We are so happy she that she referred us to such a gifted surgeon. He is personable, kind and sincere, as well. Our family thanks you all....at EBAH :-)

Nona Iannotta

My cat is very important to me and she receives excellent care from all the Dr.s at East Brunswick Veterinary Hospital. I have had 3 dogs and 4 cats over the passed 42 years in the East Brunswick area and have always been a faithful patient/pet owner at this facility. They are caring and always helpful and really care about our precious pets.

Kevin Renwick

I like the hours and the fact that if you make an appointment you will be seen within that time and not wait for hours. They get the job done. My bully is 70 lbs and unable to walk on the tile floor. The Vet Assistant picks her up for me which is nice.

Jared Picone

I have two young cats (Wanda and Loki, both under 2) and I am an unbelievably anxious and frankly annoying person. My sweet little Wanda had some dental issues that led to a few issues and while I was trying to work with the vet to diagnose it I probably called 6 times a day. I can’t express enough how happy it makes me that the doctors consistently call me back and answer my questions. It’s difficult being a pet owner and even more difficult trying to understand what is going on with them and everyone at EBAH is patient understanding and kind

Susan Michalowski

I have been going to East Brunswick Animal Hospital, for many years and they have always been good to me & my pets. I have an 18 yr old cat who is sick and they take very good care of him. Dr Cutillo is very understanding and compassionate. They do everything possible to keep him comfortable without doing anything unnecessary.

Sam Kim

My dog (a 6 yr old pomapoo) has been limping for about a year and we took him to many other animal hospitals, including the one in Red Bank. They said he has a torn ACL after an X-ray and wanted A LOT of money for the surgery. I thought I would never get to afford one. Then, I got a referral to go see Dr. Belli from Ellen (from Canince Crusaders, a rescue group, where I adopted him) and Dr. Belli was very generous. He performed the surgery and my dog is back to walking normally and now, he is even running. It's like a miracle. Dr. Belli's a great, compassionate doctor and he truly cares about the work that he does & for the animals. I highly recommend him!

Dan Miller

Over the last 2 months I had to take my cat Trinity to the vet because she got sick. Every time we walked in everyone was super nice and helpful. Our cat passed away last week and they helped us until the very end. I've never really trusted going to the vet, but I would highly recommend East Brunswick. I also appreciate the card you send. Thanks.

Ashley Conroy

I would never trust any other drs with my pups...Dr Farragher spent plenty of time explaining my pets condition to me (auto immune disease) and the extensive treatment he needed, Dr Farragher and Dr Cutillo kept him going for years during multiple blood transfusions and medications. I was so grateful for the care he received while there, they even got him ice cream! Since his passing I will only bring my pets to them, Dr. Farragher just neutered my new puppy(who loves dr f just as much as my previous baby) this week and hes doing great, you'd never even know he had surgery! They're very caring, give plenty of options for treating and just AMAZING!!

Maura Ryan

I had to come to East Brunswick Animal Hospital with last minute sicknesses with my dog. My current Vet was unable to help/resolve the issues. Both times East Brunswick Animal Hospital was accommodating, compassionate and understanding. Everyone is very professional and friendly. Dr. Sierke listened and took care of my dog as if it were her own! Although a little out of the way for me, I am looking forward to coming here in the future. Thank you!

Janet Coakley

Drs. Greenberg and Belli have been my veterinarians for decades. I now travel 45 minutes each way to have them care for my pets, passing other animal hospitals along the way. I want the best for my pets to keep them healthy and happy. My family members go there too. We all love East Brunswick Animal Hospital!

Victoria Noelle

This office appeared friendly and competent when we first went there but I see now that's just how they approach their new clients. They're extremely busy and they either don't have enough employees at the desk, or their employees are not experienced enough to handle the amount of animals going in and out. After our vet appointment was over; it took them 35 minutes to "check us out", and my dogs were extremely restless and uncomfortable throughout the process. Furthermore, I called in advance for an estimate and their receptionist quoted me a price, that included a Veteran's discount; however, the receptionist who checked us out the day of the appointment rolled her eyes and said that they don't offer any type of discounts; she didn't understand why the "dumb" girl told me that, but refused to honor that discount; even after I explained that the amount of cash that I had brought with me was based on the estimate I was originally given. I can understand that everybody makes mistakes but the client shouldn't suffer for an employee's error; it was a matter of like few bucks and it seems a shame to cause distrust towards the office over such a small matter. Meanwhile, during the visit, the actual veterinarian took out her cellphone (albeit to shut it off) in the middle of drawing blood from my dog, and did not wash her hands before finishing up the test; you would never see a real phlebotomist doing that for obvious reasons associated with hygiene and bacterial transmissions. Then to top it all off the tech cut my dog's nail down to his quick causing him to bleed. Granted he has black nails, however that is why we ask the vet's office to do it, instead of doing it ourselves at home...

Irene Goldberg

Have taken my cats to East Brunswick Animal Hospital for many years. I find the staff knowledgeable; and the Vets caring and reassuring. I am listened to carefully, asked thoughtful questions and have a clear understanding of my pet’s care when I leave.

Monika KABADI

Brought a kitten in for basic shots and 5 days later he fell sick with distemper because he was never given a FVRCP shot. Was advised multiple times to put him down however after 2 weeks of providing care myself he's now recovered and adopted. Attempting to recieve care here felt dehumanizing and a bit degrading with how rude the front staff is. It seems as though they are over scheduling and allowing standards to drop. I was also called multiple times after visits with prices that were usually double what I was told in the visit. Will not be coming back In response to the owners claim that my kitten should have been vaccinated prior to their first visit, how would that even be possible if it's their first visit and the visit was specifically for vaccinations? I would love to speak further to the claim that euthanasia was only advised because I couldn't afford care. The options I was given was either hospitalization(which I was told would be thousands of dollars) or euthanasia. I asked if there was anything I could do and I made the choice to take him home with antibiotics and care for him. I brought him in multiple times after being seen initially, specifically for food and IV hydration with techs, NOT THE VET. My kitten didn't see the vet on most of those visits except for one when I got a call from a Dr. Goodwin, who doesn't seem to be at EBAH anymore, telling me to put him down because his gums and tongue were turning yellow. I had no intention of being seen by the vet that night because I already had a vet visit scheduled and was I charged for a full vet visit. Also, after speaking with Dr. Belli, who I was actually scheduled to see, it turned out that the only thing that needed to be changed was his antibiotic because it was too strong and was causing those symptoms. The doctor did not call me multiple times outside of the scheduled appointments that I made. I was not given "free reexamine checks 5 times". I paid for ALL treatments given and was constantly told different amounts and they were usually double what was discussed in the visit. I am sorry your feelings are hurt, but lives are more than feelings.

Kathy H

I have been taking my pets to them for years. So pleased with their kind and competent care.

janelle rogers

Please be warned this establishment is not a safe place for your pet. Three “doctors “misdiagnosed my cat last summer causing him 10 days of hospitalization in their hospital treating him for something he did not have and overlooking what he had that was making him sick. I took him out of their care after 10 days of their head scratching not understanding why he wasn’t getting better or responding to the medicines and treatments, I brought him to another vet where they ruled out the diagnosis that this hospital gave my cat. The second veterinarian tried to do damage control for another 10 days on my cat and at the end of all of this horrific experience my poor cat had to be euthanized. He suffered miserably. And to the office manager ,do not respond to this with a negative or defensive remark, I’ve looked at all of your reviews and you have a very bad habit of doing that . Just say you’re sorry , it’s very easy. Or don’t respond at all. I hate that I cannot give you zero stars ,you don’t deserve not one star. Unfortunately you can’t post this unless you put at least one star.

Teri Rossi

First time there. Dr explained the issue clearly. Person who came for my dog was very nice and professional. All was good. I would recommend EBAH to anyone. They are all very professional and reliable. I needed a quick appt, but too full that day. Was told to call early next morning for any cancellations. No one cancelled but they squeezed my Poodle in the same day anyway. Dr Greenberg is very good. She came out to my car to explain what the issue was and what she did. Followed her instructions and my Poodle is doing well now. Very pleasant Dr.

SANDY WAYDO

Everyone at EBAH is caring and helpful. My pets have been their patients for nearly 18 years. My husband stayed with his own Sayreville vet until he was at his wits end when his year old rescued male cat began spraying and howling all night. After several months and hundreds of dollars spent at his vet, he agreed to seek a 2nd opinion from EBAH, Dr. Farragher listened to his tale of woe before examining his cat. Her first words were "Look at those jowls! I bet this cat was never neutered!" We assured her that he had been neutered before we had rescued him from the humane society. After testing and surgery to remove his undescended testicles the problem was solved. Dr. Farragher also saved the life of a sick kitten that my mother had rescued. She gave me help and guidance while dealing with my cat that had sinus cancer and was there for me at every turn when my beloved dog, Sassy began to fail. Any time I have been unsure as to what to do, I simply asked "If this was your pet, what would you do?" Her replies and advice always assured me that I was giving my pets the best care possible. All of the doctors as well as the entire staff at EBAH are wonderful. I couldn't ask for a better facility.

Susan Springer

Excellent care of my pet dog who had surgery. Staff caring. Communication very good. Dr. Sierke the best. Love the Pet Connection app.

Melissa Dempsey

I have going here for over 15 years and they have provided the best care for my pets( 4 cats & a dog). The doctors and all the staff are very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend EBAH.

RMS

I have been a client for about 20 years or so. I had two golden retrievers and I now one golden/lab mix rescue. I cannot say enough about the vets, techs and staff. Let me try this way....I asked Dr. Belli if he could be my doctor. I trust them with my dogs life and mine if I could. Thank you so much for the many years of kindness, compassion and most of all excellent care that was provided for all of my pets.

Barry Blecher

This is a very well run facility with a most compassionate staff. Wait time is minimal and the surroundings are very clean and comfortable. Needless to say the veterinarians are top notch and genuinely caring people. Give them a try you will not regret it.

cpflaumer

Unfortunately, every time I go we are seen by recently graduated vets that seem to know very little about most things. You don't get a better answer from these vets that what you would get from Google. I don't trust them. For that reason, I took my dog for a major surgery to Red Bank Vet Hospital where the vets have more mature knowledge. That’s why I only take my dog to EB Vet. Hospital for routine care like vaccinations and nothing more complicated than that, and not for life or death situations.

Karen Charette

We have been going to EBAH for years -- including my family & friends. We trust our fur babies to their staff -- especially Dr. Kwacz and Dr. Farragher. They are a compassionate & caring group of professionals -- from the reception staff, to the technicians, and doctors. They answer all your questions and explain options for your pet's needs. We know our pets are in good hands, and it's comforting to know that they will get the best care at EBAH.

Elaine Vinopal

My catBonnie became sick on Sunday and the EB Animal Hospital saw her immediately, medicated her and reviewed her condition. We made an appointment for 2 weeks later to have teeth removed. She's once again happy, eating and perky.

Kelly Mallin

Love Dr. Belli! Have been seeing him for over 10 years now. He's very thorough, dedicated, and always follows up when he says he will. The staff has always been very sweet, informative, and helpful in all types of situations. Highly recommend them!

Maryjane Jacoby

Came in on an emergency for my dogs fighting and I haven't left since. Great, caring doctors. Reasonable prices. A little busy but to me that just means they are good. This in now my permanent vet. Highly recommend. Helpful staff.

Sharon P

I went to this place because it had good reviews here but my experience said otherwise. Amateur handling of pets. No sense of professionalism. Never going back. 5/30 update: They charged me $64 for having the doctor in who NEVER even gave a diagnosis. My cat got sick and kept vomiting for the next 4 days. I called the hospital and about this and their question was “does your cat generally not vomit?” when I told the receptionist about the situation. I mean, what cats “generally” vomit and who even asks such questions in such an urgent moment???! I ended up bringing my cat to another hospital in the area where the doctor really did some examinations using the equipment. They also gave my cat proper medication that it’s now in a much better condition.

Rebecca C

Brought my dog Gus here when he had a back issue. The office was clean and organized, staff friendly and knowledgeable, and prices were about what you'd expect for a vet hospital. Most importantly they took care of Gus and got him feeling better quickly!

Lauren Sarmiento

A few friends had recommended the animal hospital because of both the expertise and comprehensive care every animal receives, after visiting myself it can say it was all that and more!! Every time i've visited the (immaculately clean) animal hospital, I am greeted by very warm and knowledgable experts. I have been to other practices and no experience is quite the same to the one you get at East Brunswick. A few months ago my dog began seizing, I rushed her to an animal hospital who didn't have the staff on hand to run the diagnostics needed. I decided to take my dog to this animal hospital instead where within a few hours were able to run bloodwork, get x-rays, and perform an abdominal ultrasound. Just like that the doctors gave my a clear diagnosis and potential treatment plans. When I got a new puppy, Dr. Farragher clearly explained everything I needed to do to get him healthy and protected for puppy school! Then in August, I adopted a kitten whose eyes were ruptured, Dr. Farragher, Dr. Cutillo and Dr. Belli quickly helped me get him on a treatment plan to help heal his eyes and ultimately save them from needing to be removed. Once more I recently adopted two more puppies who were not getting along with my other pets, and Dr. Farragher made sure they were both healthy but also gave me information for great trainers to help with the transition. She always returns my called within an hour or so and even called the next day to check up on the pups. Dr. Farragher and the staff of East Brunswick Animal hospital are so compassionate, I cannot imagine going anywhere else!! (their favorite patients can be seen below)

They don't deserve that one star either!!!! I called them to take an appointment which was not easy cuz i had to stay on hold for like 15 mn at least and they hang up so I had to call again to stay on hold another 10 mn. I called for my cat, and I told them that I wanted to spay her and That Im going to use the medicaid program, they said that I have to pay extra money for the blood test, so I asked how much is it gonna be they said it depends on your cat's health, and when I got there they told me that Medicaid is not open yet So i ended up paying $64 for nothing my cat didnt need to see a doctor cuz shes in a good health!!! They Played me well! And when I called to complain they said the manager is going to call me back which never happened!!! DONT GO THERE they are not HONEST

Michele Green

They are amazing. My dog needed surgery and they were able to do it immediately.

Natalia Parobchak

First of all, I have never written an online review until now. In doing so, I hope this can be helpful to someone one day and can potentially save a family from heartache. Long story short, If I could, I would give no start. With that being said, if your pets needs to have their claws trimmed or get a vaccination, then by all means, go to the EB Animal Hospital. However, if your pet is ill and needs a doctor/vet to take care of him/her, PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE. The techs are very friendly and the receptionists as well, however, their doctors/vets are “AWFUL”, and awful is an understatement. I almost do not want to write the word “doctors/vets” because none of them deserve that title. They are very unprofessional; they do not update you with medical terms instead they say and keep repeating that “everything is good,” you yourself have to ask for specific updates. They are TERRIBLE at communicating among each other. My cat was undergoing a major surgery and the “main” doctor said if anything is looking bad, they will stop the surgery and call us to decide what we want to do further. We NEVER received a call and instead they tortured the poor animal for weeks for !!!! PROFIT !!!! before he succumbed to their carelessness. This is what I’m talking about, no communication between them all, and if you have to be in my situation, you will remember my words. There is a doctor, that is heartless, emotionless and does not make eye contact with you and she knows who she is, she does not deserve to be called a vet. When I was finally putting my cat to sleep because of their carelessness, I asked her, is this hospital nonprofit or profit and she responded to me “It’s a BUSINESS”, they are there to make money. I have never been so disappointed in my life … they all walked away with full pockets and I walked away with a broken heart and no pet. They don’t look after animals that undergo surgery, they lie about their improvement condition and they do not have any communication among each other. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING experience and mark my words, if anyone has an emergency with their pets, DO NOT take them here !!!!! In writing this, I get NOTHING … but I hope that maybe my words can save another pet. No amount of sorry from them will bring my pet back and I do not even believe its genuine. So please go somewhere else if your pet needs to be seen by a REAL VET !!! I hope no one else is placed in the same situation by them as I was and if this does happen, you will remember my words.

Was able to get a same day appointment on a Sunday and they took us right on time! Very kind and caring toward my cat. Highly, highly recommend!

Jordan Canuso

My dog was sick on a Sunday — after calling many other places (going down the list on google from distance from my house) — they had an appointment for me within two hours and they were so nice from start to finish! From the time I pulled up to the time I left it was quick and efficient but not rushed. I was nervous about not being able to go in - but after the tech came out to get my dog, I felt good about letting him go in alone. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and will definitely be going back.

Ed Rock

Recently had to put down a loved family dog. They were very compassionate couldn't ask for anything more in such a difficult time. Highly recommend them. Very good people.

evelyn kolackovsky

I love Dr. Belli and Dr. Kwaz. They are both very special people and have a great way with animals. They are both extremely competent and have taken great care of all my animals for at least 10 years! I would never take any of my fur kids anywhere else! I recommend them highly!

Anthony Jones Jr

The staff of this animal hospital have been consistently rude and cold for years. Take your pets elsewhere. Unless you enjoy dealing with employees who hate their jobs and take it out on the patients.

Reinaldo Moll

I brought a rescue here with a skin irritation and a double ear infection. The vet was very nice and took care of my dog very well. A month later he was totally healed. The prices are very reasonable as well.

Marge Griggs

If you love your pet do not take it here I took my cat to be put down for cancer I told aide do not give her anything until I was with her. Doctor Desmond gave her a heavy sedative without me knowing or being there After waiting 25 minutes to be with her she was virtually gone Doctors excuse was she was breathing heavy I had no time to say goodbye

Vicky Cunningham

Dr. Iyer (who is professional, polite, friendly & sweet) is the reason why I choose to drive 45 mins past 3 other animal hospitals to bring my 2 Berners to the EBAH. Both Dr. Iyer & Dr. Farragher provide excellent care. Dr. Farragher was so compassionate when I had to help my parents bring in their Sheltie to say goodbye due to cancer. I highly recommend the EBAH to all my friends & family for the ones they love.

Trish Murphy

My dogs have been getting their care there for over 20 years. The staff and doctors are kind and compassionate and my dogs also get the best possible care in their hands. Would not consider going any where else.

JACKY Coppola

I am extremely happy with East Brunswick Animal; they are personable and very professional answering any and all questions that I have concerning my pets and their condition. They have accurately determined their ailments and prescribed the necessary treatment and or medications for them. I am very thankful that they are there for me and my fuzzy crew.

This hospital killed my cat, and worse didnt recommend I take her to a specialist, when they were clueless as to what was going on. Just had me keep coming back for fluids being injected under the skin which did nothing but pad my Bill's. She finally died before I learned about real true vet hospitals out there. Most vets are really just general practishioners like our family drs are. Then you have the facilities that are the true Mt Sinai hospitals. Open 24 hours. Dont even do regular checkups etc. Have drs who do nothing but specialize in a specific area of pet medicine. Oncology, opthomology, ER, Internal medicine, surgery, etc. They have MRI and CAT scan machines etc. Drs who only deal with sick pets that are really sick. I changed vets needless to say. When another of my cats got very sick some time later, this vet told me about the specialist type real hospitals. Took her there and they figured out what was going on, and saved her life. North Star Vet Hospital in Robbinsville. And those few others around the state like them is where I should have been referred to the first time on my other pet. Not milked of money until she finally died. Another is Animerge is bridgewater I believe is the town. There's another in Red Bank I'm told. North Star now works with my regular vet if anything serious is going on with my older pets, and vet records are shared back and forth. This is where I should have been told to take my baby at the time, not just milked for profits sake until the cash cow died, and then move on to the next victim.

Anthony Schiena

Brought my dog Rona here for her eye infection and met with Dr Farragher. She gave her eye drops and they worked wonders! Her eyes are now fully opened all the time no itchy ness and no sensitivity to light! Thank you Dr Farragher!

Inga Malinina

it is a right place if your dog needs help. They listen and always call you back. And my rabit is alive, because help came right on time. I trust them. It took me some time a while ago to find vets I can trust to. I stay with this hospital for 10 years already! My dog is 14 years old and I took him from shelter in 2009.

Sherry Gonzalez

Aerie my Pitt was throwing up and just not feeling well. She started whimper so I knew she was in pain. I called East Brunswick Hospital and the receptionist was excellent! She told me to come on down and they would fit her in. While I will only go to Dr. Francisco who goes above and beyond ALL the time for Aerie, she was not in and we had Dr Greenberg. She was so nice to Aerie (rescued 5 y/o Pitts) can a handful. She was patient unlike when I went to the South Brunswick Animal Hospital the owner was terrible I never went back. I’m so grateful they saw her and helped her feel better.. this dog is my life I just love her????

Jerry Pawlek

East Brunswick Animal Hospital and Dr. Belli are wonderful. Klaus our Miniature Schnauzer is our 4th Schnauzer that has been under their care. Dr. Belli and his assistant are both so gentle and caring with Klaus. The office staff is pleasant and eager to help in any way they can. We highly recommend East Brunswick Animal Hospital.

Cherie A

my entire family bring our pets here for 15yrs now.. they are so wonderful.. all the vets, assistants AND office people are all so kind. I've never had a bad experience. . and when I brought a kitten in i had adopted years ago, the compassion when telling me she was terminally ill was nothing I had ever seen in a vet before.. i could go on and on.. but bottom line.. these people are amazing!

Lori Levine

Dr. Belli has been my pets' doctor for many years and has always provided them the most thoughtful and compassionate treatment. He is a wizard of diagnosis which is so difficult for a veterinarian to be as the animals he treats cannot tell him what is wrong. He is also the best surgeon ever and you can relax knowing that your pet is in capable hands when he operates.

Jamie Gable

East Brunswick Animal Hospital is by far the best vet I have ever brought any of my pets too. All of the doctors here have seen every one of my animals and treated them amazingly. I've had emergency situations and the entire staff has been nothing but kind and compassionate to me and my pets. The receptionists are always extremely friendly as well as the techs. Just wanted to give a special shout out to Dr. Cutillo for always taking care of my pets and always answering my questions, even when I'm being super paranoid. Every one of the doctors are great as well, but Dr. Cutillo, Dr. Iyer, Dr. Fransico, Dr. Sierke and Dr. Farragher have always been amazing. Thank you for everything! :)

Robbin Perry

My family & I have trusted East Brunswick Animal Hospital with our pet's veterinary care for approximately two decades now. Their veterinarians and staff members are both, very knowledgeable and professional and we love the caring and compassionate service that they provide. We highly recommend them, especially Dr. Jessica Schulze!

mustafa mamaloglu

I took my precious cat and made appointment within one hour. It was fast and very professional service. Im soo happy with the service. Thank you all!

Robert LaFalce

I don't know what happened to this place. They used to be professional but in the last year or so the office staff has become very nasty and unhelpful. I'm in the process of looking for a new veterinarian, I don't want to deal with the nasty office help there anymore.

PinkyT

We have been going to EBAH since 2003 when we adopted our first dog, Buddy. I have always been satisfied with the quality of care, as well as the service level of the staff. When we got Paisley in 2013, we started bring her there as well. Recently we had the sad experience of having to put Buddy down. We were treated with respect and sympathy, not just another random pet owner, heartbroken and devastated. We will continue to bring our pets here and will recommend this animal hospital to anyone that asks!

Robin Schaechter

We have been using EBAH for our dogs for many years. we primarily use Dr. Lasso who is so compassionate and caring and responds to our every concern. the other doctors are super as well! the office and animal technicians. .well I cannot say enough about them. they take care of our every need and request and are always hapoy, friendly and caring!!! Our Thanks to all of you!

Pamela Rockwell

When I moved to New Jersey, my 13 yr. old rescue cat had polyps in his ear that were infected and bleeding daily. Zachary was in constant pain and I knew he was too old to be operated on. They handled him with obvious affection, and professionalism, cleared up his infection and stopped the bleeding. Now Zach has regained his personality and is once again playing with his toys. As other reviewers have said, I, too, wouldn’t go anywhere else! Thank you so much Dr. Greenberg and Dr. Cutillo!

Zach Keller

Went to Dr. Cutillo October 2016 when my cat was under the weather, and he was nothing but incredibly nice, professional, and handled my pet with care. Went again in February 2017 when my cat was having more serious health issues. Dr. Cutillo was very honest about the situation and didn't sugar coat things, but made me feel completely assured my little buddy was in the best of hands. And he was. This doctor and the entire staff went above and beyond in my cats 3 night stay over the hospital to take such incredible care of him, and also dealt with me calling twice a day and visiting every night. You could make the argument they took just as good care of me as they did him. Could not emphasize enough how great Dr. Cutillo was as well as the entire staff that I encountered at the hospital. I made the right decision going here, and have not regretted it once

Stephanie Mono

So happy I realized they also treat rabbits. They are all so nice and work very hard amid covid. They come out to your car to get your pet and bring them back.it's a very organized vetinary hospital/clinic.

Robin Brennan

I highly recommend this group. Friendly, knowledgeable. The doctors take the time to speak to you and answer your questions. They were able to give me an appointment when my vet, that I have been using for 35+ years would not give me an emergency appt. This was the 3rd ti.e this happened. I am switching my animals to this vet now. I am confident the care will be far more superior. Very grateful for this group.

Maryann Costa

Outstanding ! Best staff. They're polite, helpful and curtious. Doctors provide detailed info. And recommendations regarding my dogs health and wellness.

Lenore Ballinger

All the vets here are so compassionate, and caring. I switched to this animal hospital about 2 years ago , when my dogs and cat started getting older and had more complicated issues. Dr Iyer is definitely one of the best doctors I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with. I previously worked in rescue, and have met alot of vets along the way. None have compared to Dr. Iyer. I would personally like to thank her for being there for us , especially during this tough time for my baby.

Misty Drake

I have been coming to the East Brunswick animal hospital for over 10 years. The office is very friendly and Dr. Farragher is a professional, compassionate, friendly veterinarian Doctor who my dogs and I love. Misty Corbisiero

EBAH came highly recommended by a friend and I have had nothing but positive experiences since. I had a terrible experience with another hospital in the past, it left me a bit weary of veterinarians in general, to be honest. I have been going to EBAH since my Australian Cattle Dog, Ozzy was 10 weeks old. We saw Dr. Cutillo for all vaccinations in the first few months; He was extremely attentive with my little biter and patient with all of my "new puppy-mom jitters" and silly questions. Each time we have been in, he is thorough, gentle and always smiling (even when Ozzy peed on him)! I have also been in for a last minute, same-day visit. They were extremely accommodating when fitting us in on a Saturday. Upon arriving, we were immediately seen by Dr. Farragher, she was so kind and so reassuring that with some rest, he would be back to normal in about a week. She showed such interest in Ozzy, asking all types of questions about him and making awesome suggestions on how to exert some of that crazy ACD energy! The staff at the front desk is not only friendly but they truly care. They are extremely well-knowledgeable, take the time to explain and show you how to properly administer medications. Every time we walk in, they immediately greet Ozzy with all the love and snuggles he can take (even on one occasion when he escaped and ran around and under their desk like a wild dingo)! Hahah. Both, Jamie and Stephanie have always been exceptionally helpful - whether it be promptly checking us in or out, scheduling future appointments or answering my calls/texts at all hours of the day/night with questions and concerns. I can not say enough how grateful I am knowing Ozzy will always be in great hands!

Pika Qiu

Service was quick and the assistant was always nice but service was pricey compared to other locations in this area. HOWEVER, the behavior of Dr. L Farragher was some of the most unprofessional I have ever seen. On our first visit we saw Dr L. Farragher. Our cat was sick and her urine was pink and smelled horrible. We gave her antibiotics and did a urine test which returned that she had a urinary tract infection. We visited a second time (with a different doctor) to do a comprehensive blood test which returned that her immune system was strong and that she was very healthy. But her condition didn’t seem to get any better. We decided to wait for signs of improvement. We were charged a new doctor fee rather than a revisiting fee. After a week at home, we were convinced that our cat was dying because she wasn’t eating, she was throwing up bile, her nose turned black, and she was hiding/sleeping all day. We were scared for her life and had to take her back. Upon visiting a 3rd time: We saw Dr. Farragher a 2nd time. We didn’t have pet insurance and had already spent more than $400 at this point. We asked for advice on the most efficient and cost effective treatment. She was extremely impatient and non-empathetic while we decided what to do next. She rolled her eyes and made nasty faces saying we were talking in circles. She tried to sell us a bunch of services that we didn’t need such as Ultrasounds, X-rays, and quoted prices we couldn’t afford. When we asked if those prices were fixed, she responded “we don’t negotiate on prices.” We went against the doctor’s advice listed above and asked for only more antibiotics. You could tell she disapproved of our decision. She tried to push the shot form on on us which was $40 more than the pill form. After we insisted for pills and asked for her to administer the first dose in the office, we received a scolding stare and she did so reluctantly. All of this put aside, this story has a good ending. For about a week, we fed our cat via a syringe, forced her to drink, gave her antibiotics, and the bacteria went away. she’s eating and drinking on her own as a healthy kitty again! My advice to management, please ensure that you create a mandatory training course for your staff that teaches empathy and understanding for those with sick animals. Dr. Farragher was aggressive & hostile and she should not be working in a field that requires compassion. I know that I will be looking for service somewhere else next time.

Kevin Ruppert

East Brunswick Animal is the best. All the people who work Doctors, assistants, front desk are very nice. Easy to deal with. Each one has a different way of handling often difficult situations. This makes for a very pleasant experience.

Richard Johnson

Had a great first visit to EB Animal Hospital. Highly professional and knowledgeable group that you can tell loves what they do. We really appreciate the way Steve and the doc made our daughters first trip taking her kitten to the vet such an enjoyable experience. She told me that from now on this is the only place we can take her beloved Coco back to for care and if she ever gets sick or has to have a surgery.

Michelle Tang

Was able to get same day appointment for my puppy ???? who (possibly) had kennel cough. Long wait (almost an hour) before actually seeing the vet. Paid about $100 for the visit with antibiotics. So grateful for their help!

Paul S

They want your pet to be healthy & happy, just as you do.

Jamio

the vet and techs are amazing here, theyve been very compassionate and caring anytime ive brought my cats in. the prices are reasonable compared to other local animal hospitals too so just a plus!

V Choi Cunningham

Me & my parents have been taking our dogs & rabbits to the EBAH since 1995!! Dr. Farragher has seen her fair share of our rabbits & my parents dogs while I was growing up in EB; and Dr. Iyer has seen all my Bernese Mountain Dogs since 2013. For 2 years, Dr. Iyer worked with CARES in PA to monitor and treat one of my Berners for chronic lymphocytic leukemia and lymphoma. I believe that Marty made it to 6.5 years old because of Dr. Iyer. It was incredibly painful to lose him but Dr. Iyer's huge heart and compassion helped ease the pain ever so slightly. We are super lucky to have to found Dr. Iyer - an amazing doctor can make a world of difference - so I continue to drive 40 minutes past 3 animal hospitals so that my boys can be under Dr. Iyer's care. You might have to wait 5 mins on hold to book an appt but that 5 mins is totally worth it! We highly recommend the EBAH because all the vets and staff are amazing!

Ann Klauber

Moved into NB area and needed new place. Great office, friendly staff, great with my cats. Found our new vet:)

RAUNAK RISHAV

Took my hamster for fight wound treatment, but after I came back home from the vet, idk what Dr Francisco gave my hamster, but he got lazy and passed away within 3 hrs of my vet visit. He was ruining on the his wheel before the vet visit. Also, when I called this place before taking my hamster there, they said they have a Vet for exotic animals, but on their website they say that the doctor who saw my hamster was not specialized in exotic animals. And they even called me before my appointment to say that if you’re not here in 5 min the doctor will leave as it’s close to our closing time and she’s the only one here specialized in exotic pets. Idk of she didn’t cared about him because she was in a hurry according to the receptionist who called me, or she just gave him random medicines (to increase the bills maybe or she was not sure about the treatment), which resulted in his sudden passing away right after the vet visit. Don’t play with a life like this.

Mary Elizabeth Thomassen

About 4 years ago, when our new pet was neutered at another clinic, that facility somehow allowed my pet to ingest plastic from the E-collar he was wearing. My dog couldn't even keep water down when he came home. I rushed him to East Brunswick Animal Hospital, where they quickly found the damage the ingested plastic had done, got him full of much needed fluid, and performed life-saving surgery. Our dog stayed there a few days and we got frequent updates. Love the vets, vet techs and staff at the facility.

Emily M

I have been bringing my dog to East Brunswick Animal Hospital since I got here about 2.5 years ago. Prior to that, my parents always brought our family dogs there. They are staffed with excellent veterinarians and vet techs and I wouldn't think of taking my dog anywhere else!

Aylin Uncu

I had an appointment scheduled for 9:30am. It’s now 10:27am. No one has taken my dog in for his routine shots. I’ve been repeatedly put on hold for the line to never be picked up again. Only when I call again does someone answer but before I can say anything I’m put on hold (again). It took 20 minutes to be checked in and they said they’d be out in a few minutes. It’s now been 35 minutes. I’ve called repeatedly and they said they’re “doing the best they can.” I understand its a pandemic but everyone has limits.

Monika Bator

The people who work at this animal hospital are the most selfless humans ever. They truly love and care about animals and that’s the key to their success. We went there about a month ago to put our beloved dog to sleep after having her for 12 years .. they were so compassionate through the whole process. Then a week later they sent us a condolence card with our little Zoe’s paw print inked inside. Her memory will forever be tattooed in our home ❤️ Thank you East Brunswick Animal Hospital for everything.

floyd argentiere

Dr Belli is one of the best vets in our area. He also has extensive expertise in the area of orthopedic surgery.

dre park

I would always shop around for best price or better schedule. Just crazy after finding East Brunswick. You will almost always get appointment to suit you and your pet. The level of care, even at the most hectic of times, is so good. I know my pet is getting the best care, and thats what its about.

Jen Gzemski

I have been a patient/customer with East Brunswick Animal Hospital for over 12 years. I have never been anything but completely satisfied with the service, care and treatment that I have received from this facility. My dogs' doctor is Laurie Farragher, DVM who is absolutely FABULOUS!!!! She goes above and beyond what a normal vet would, is compassionate, honest and a very skilled doctor. She never rushes you, and explains things thoroughly - giving you the ability to really think through all your options. She has become a special person in our lives and I am thankful for everything she has done for us. The support staff is equally wonderful, always getting me in for appointments in a timely fashion and are there to answer any questions I have. I have and will continue to be a loyal customer/patient of this facility for many years to come!

Hailey F

The review really only applies to the front of the house staff. My last 2 visits I waited for more than 60 mins to see the doctor. The current visit was 50.mins before, I approached the staff to learn, there is only one doctor on. They cant lean.over the counter and provide periodic updates, no they cant, why They are socializing with each other, their phones and their evening plans. The first vist, the front staff completely forgot we were here. The assistant insisted we hadn't checked in. But when u walk in the.front door, they ask you your pets last name and first name. Its honestly just frustrating, but the docs are amazing Chris 10.8 Sitting here again, its 510, and we had a 430 appointment, the room had only a few guests, and the guests that came after us, went in ahead of us Come on Chris

Serge Sabo

My parents, brother, and my wife and I have been bringing our pets to East Brunswick Animal Hospital for over a decade. We have been seeing Dr. Farragher for many years as she is extremely knowledgable and very gentle with our pets. I would recommend her to any one as she is the absolute best! And most importantly, Lolly S loves her. Thank you for taking care of our pup!

jennifer Marquez

One of the best customer service I've ever received. Ok, so my cat (cheesecake, yes that's his name haha) became ill suddenly this past week & saturday night was the worst. After hours of searching for vets that would be open on Sundays nothing in my area popped up but this place showed up and although it's about an hour away from me (with no traffic) I AM EXTREMELY HAPPY I FOUND THIS PLACE. Everyone from the receptionists to the techs and vets, were friendly, caring and overall welcoming. Hell even the other clients/patient were nice. Dr. Laurie Farragher and Inga were the ones who took care of him and there aren't enough nice things to say about them both. Not only was the Dr very caring and took her time, she also didnt brush us off simply because we couldn't financially afford some procedures. Inga, was very nurturing towards him, petting and calming him the entire time and even taking extra time to talk to us when we picked him up to give us tips and explain things to us even more which is not only appreciated but admirable. The receptionists were all nice, charming, and QUICK. You are acknowledged the second you walk in and with a positive attitude. There was a taller gentleman with a shaved head there as well, I believe he was a tech but i didn't get his name but he was so sweet. He comforted me and genuinely showed care for not only my pet but family as well. I know this is a long post but all the positive things that can be said about this place can not be simplified to; "they're a great place".. this is a place that cares for your pet not only your wallet and you can see that from the moment you walk in and are greeted.

Janice Santora

Bring both of my cats here to east brunswick animal hospital. I just adopted a dog and dr iher, dr.sierke and dr. Farragher are wonderful. I highly recommend them. Janice

Gene Taylor

Open on weekends. Animals get good medical treatment. Parking is a bit tight, but you can get to park across the street and walk over. Techs come out to get your pet and bring it back. I have been using them for over 25 years and am satisfied.

Charlie V

Can't say enough about this place. The staff is very friendly, the doctors are great. They really care about your pets. Extended office hours. Always offer reasonable and sensible treatment options. We have been to multiple vets and this place tops them all.

Nancy Thorpe

We have been regular customers of East Brunswick Animal Hospital for nearly 15 years. They cared for our two beautiful Huskies through their entire lives, up to and including the unspeakable sadness of their final moments. (They even sent us sympathy cards afterwards stamped with our precious pup's footprint -- we'll cherish those forever.) Dental work, minor surgeries, x-rays, regular maintenance visits, vaccinations, medications, they handle everything with professionalism, kindness, patience and respect. They're always there to answer questions or concerns, provide advice and information. Now, they're caring for our two new pups, Huskita brothers who adore the vets there. True, sometimes you have to wait a while even with an appointment, but it's always worth it in the end. They have a caring staff and a wonderful facility, and I'm so grateful they're there for us no matter what.

Ralph Greer

I have the deepest respect for the staff of EB Animal Hospital They treat the pets and the owner with compassion and in a highly skilled and professional manner. They explain the care treatment and always offer alternatives when available. Its easy to see that each and every one of them love the animals that they treat and are congenial and pleasant with the owners. I highly recommend EB Animal Hospital for all your pets care I would never even entertain for a moment bringing Jasmine anywhere else. Thank You for caring!!!!!!!!!

Donna Brath

Dr Farragher is the only vet I will trust my animals with! She has been my vet for many years and many dogs and cats. Her professionalism, knowledge, and love of animals has me totally comfortable in her treatment of my "fur babies"

Mj Newton

All of the Doctors are dedicated to their (animal) patients, while being sensitive and caring to the humans. The staff are all loving, dedicated professionals. I feel this is an excellent veterinary facility. I have taken all of my animals - cats, dogs, & ferrets, to this superior facility for over 30 years.
