I bought a lawn mower close to 4 years ago there. The lawn mower had a 4 year manufacturers warranty. Last fall the steel deck of the mower cracked and needed to be replaced. I called the manufacturer and they advised me to take it to a local repair place. No problem. Well 8 months passed and they could not get the part in to fix my mower. I had many back and forth conversations with the repair depot and the manufacturer but they just kept telling me I needed to wait for the part. 8 months. My last call with the manufacturer I asked them if there was anything else they could do, and they said no they could not, but I could go and talk to the store where I bought it and see what they would do. I returned to the Oromocto Canadian Tire and spoke with a Manager named Doug. He was very nice and was appalled at how long it had taken so far to get my lawn mower repaired. He took all my information and said the General Manager would call me the next morning when he was in to discuss options. The next morning, bright and early, I had a call from Troy, the General Manager. Without any muss or fuss he said "Bring in your receipt and we will give you your money back or credit it towards another mower, and we will take care of the repair depot for picking up the broken mower." So in less than 24 hours I now have a functioning lawn mower and do not have to deal with the headache of trying to get my old one fixed. Thank you so much for all you help and being so wonderful in this situation. It wasn't your fault, but you made it right anyways.

Had Car services and got car back with check engine light on. Took it in and the light was off, but when they gave it back it was on. I called to inquire about it and they said it would cost $85 for a diagnostic (which should have been done before I got car back IMO) They should have offered to set appointment to have diagnostic done for free since the light only came on AFTER they had their hands on it. I also sat in waiting area for almost two hours only to be told it would be an extra half hour and they it wouldn't be done till next day. Called a taxi $20 there and another $20 to get back to pick up next day because I guess they didn't wanna put in the extra 30 minutes while I was there already waiting for two hours? EDIT TO REPLY TO RESPONSE: Corporate Customer Experience Team, I called the number and the 5 options don't pertain to anything related to me calling you. There is no option to contact you directly except 5 options that sell me on different features of the Store. Try again, because this number failed to help me update you further.

Sent car there on flatbed to be diagnosed. They called me at work to tell me it was a bad fuel pump. Which I had at home. I told them not to do the work and I'd be by to pick it up at end of day. When I showed up they had replaced the pump and wouldn't let me take my vehicle until I paid them over $600. This location is an embarrassment. Save yourself time and headache by going to an actual mechanic, not these dumbwit oil changers.

Automotive Shop Review: I took my car here to get an alignment done in the fall. They rejected the alignment, telling me that there was a broken coil spring in the back. They still charged me $30 for putting the car on the hoist. After repairing the coil spring, I took the car to another shop for the alignment, and that shop rejected the alignment because of a damaged tie rod at the front. The second shop, while rejecting the alignment, did not charge me anything, but gave me a full list of parts that I should get fixed before coming in again. I don't understand why the Oromocto Canadian tire didn't disclose the problems with the front end of my car in the first place... unless they just rejected the alignment all together at the first hint of a problem without looking any further. They charged me money to put it on the hoist, but didn't bother looking at anything else while it was up there. There's a massive difference between service at the two shops I visited.

This Canadian Tire store in oromocto is a good size store. They usually have what your looking for and it's usually priced well. The sports section is always stocked with great hunting supplies and ammunition that you can't find in other stores. The staff is knowledgeable and are always there to help and assist you when you need it.

I went over to the paint section and their wasn't a person to be seen ! So I just got upset and left the store, this isn't the first time has happened ? I found her very unpleasant and it seemed like just the idea of dealing with customers bothered her. She shouldn’t be in Customer Service in my opinion and this is the first time I’ve ever made a complaint in my life but I felt so disgusted with my experience with Christina in particular I had to make a comment about it. went in around 3:30pm to exchange a battery that i had warranty on because my car wouldn't turn over. Gave the parts department a call to ask if they would exchange it for me they said they would but they needed to test the battery which i understood. The fella at the counter was very friendly and took my name and number to let me know when the test was done and explained it takes up to 2 hours. So around 4:45 i gave them a call and no one answered and i was in freddy picking up the wife from work. So i have to wait till tomorrow to get my car battery and they never let me know that i wouldn't be able to get it after they closed. I understand they are busy but a bit of notice would have been nice. Over all the employees are friendly and helpful!

If you want your wheels scratched, that is the place to go. They did not even bothered to use the hooks on the clamps with my aluminium wheels, the spikes are the way to go I guess. Now with the nice scratches on the front, I have holes on the inside. Unless some of the other reviews, I had good costumer service. Nevertheless, I will never go there again to install tires. Rookies.

Smaller Canadian Tire location for a smaller market but you can likely find anything you'd expect to find at a Canadian Tire location however, it does contain a neat hunting & fishing add-on to this Canadian Tire store. Full service garage and gardening center on site. Sobeys next door.

Techs here are good hard workers, but the staff managing their schedule don’t seem to be bothered to understand what you’re even asking for. As for the store front, they’re alright I guess.

Tried to take advantage of us by assuming we had no vehicle knowledge claiming rotors were bad on a ONE YEAR OLD VEHICLE WITH 13k km on it. Do NOT trust this place with your vehicle. Luckily I have a background in auto mechanics and could call them on their lies.

So my roommate brought them his car bec a leaking fuel tank, it only leaked when he filled unit up. They dropped the tank to tell us that around the fuel pump is leaking, this cost my roommate $700 for them to do this,( why they couldnt lift up the back seat and go in that way im not sure ) we told them not to go ahead with putting new parts in bec it would cost over $2500. I would not recommend brining your car to this place if you are not a car person, I feel like they will over charge you and try and get alot of money from you

The first problem with this particular Canadian Tire Store is the length of the dissertation we as customers need to listen to each time we call this particular Canadian Tire. You need to take a lesson from the Smythe Street Store as they are basic and down to earth with their greeting. Some guy with a mechanical recording in your store thinks he is a better provider of services if he takes a lot of time to explain a little bit of information, of which, what he says has very little meaning to the customer but greatly influences if the customer wants to take a whole lot of time to listen to his spiel and sometimes hangs up and would rather take the time to call some other company more interested in service to the customer instead of putting out an image the customer does not feel is important. And So the dictation of meaningless words has gone on for years by this individual who maybe thinks he is just the right person to annoy the customer before the customer even gets close to talking to someone who can give real service. Should I go on or have I made the point, because this dissertation of useless wording can continue as long as I feel the need to annoy you as you do me everytime I call your company and consider spending my money. Would you like to hear the second reason now?

I went to Canadian Tire on Smythe St. in Fredericton to get the last Minn Kota trolling motor. Unfortunately it was the floor model. I asked if they would order me a new one as the floor model was beat up and scratched bad. Their answer was absolutely NO as I had to buy the last one before they would order more. The Oromocto store had only one as well so I went to look. Same deal, it was the floor model. After asking a young salesman he agreed with me that he would not want the demo model so he called a manager. He immediately agreed and as long as I paid he would order me a new one. Arrived in 2 days in a sealed box. I do agree with other comments that the Oromocto store has a much more friendly and knowledgeable staff. Thank you!!

Prices are bad, really high. When the products are on sale, it's usually the normal prices at Walmart. Sellers don't really know their products example : I asked how solar panels worked and they told me to read on the box because they didn't know

Had my car in to check the suspension and steering. As it was handling really bad. Tech put it on lift an test drove it, then told me there is nothing wrong with it. And it's just the road conditions. So I took it to a mechanic. he took for test drive brought it back an exclaimed "that thing is f**kin dangerous." Turns out it was the forward control arms on the rear axle. Canadian Tire should send there Tech's back out for retraining.

Purchased a rifle October 16th. Learned that Bass Pro had the same product (normal price) $200 less. Contacted a Manager October 17th and was told they would not price match as it was outside their "shopping" area. Not only is this bad business practice publishing Price Guarantees and not honouring them, but being brushed off is equally as bad as making the customer feel ripped off. To add insult to injury, this was the display model and been handled by who knows how many people - so it truly wasn't "new". One would think that given the above, there would be something they would do to keep a customer. Unfortunate, but that was the last dollar I spend at this location.

They had a sale on tires, Goodyear Duratrac in this case for $187/tire, so I went for it and had them ordered in. The young guy working parts ordered the highest of the three options without telling me and my final cost per tire was $267. Great tire, service was quick but I wasn't expecting to spend an extra $240 without even a heads up from parts saying which model of the Duratrac they were ordering. Of course I only found out after they were installed and the service basically just said tough luck, they usually sell for $353. Cool beans bro, I was still expecting to pay around $187. Be specific with them or they'll upsell you.

Don’t bother calling the number they posted as an answer to my terrible service! Looks so awesome that they answered right?. Another lie. Just a general number for the same switch board you can find online. See my two reviews below. Well don’t bother making an appointment here. They don’t honour them at all. I just waited for an entire hour for them to tell me my tires were not safe to put on. So why did I just wait for an hour past my appointment time? VW which is the make of my car said when they took the tires off they had one more year. What a total joke this garage is. Don’t come here unless you want your time completely waisted and to be treated very very poorly. I’m pretty sure they were just trying to take advantage of a young girl to make her buy tires from them. Negative stars. Update: A new terrible experience with this Canadian Tire. My mother took her car in to have her tires changed and after the appointment her drivers side door was broken. They told her is was like that when she dropped it off and refused to do anything about it. She now needs to go have it fixed out of her own pocket. Do not make the mistake of going to this garage!

This place is one of the worst examples of customer service there is. Staff is useless and they have no desire to do their jobs properly. Made an appointment for my truck for 10am weeks ago and when it was brought it in ended up taking 3.5 hours just to get tires put on. Was still sitting outside not even brought in at 11. Had a remote start installed, after I could remove my key from the car and it would still run as the brake cut off was not connected!! Safety violation! While driving my power steering shut off another safety violation, the instrument panel was intermittent, the heater blower did not work, of course the battery light was on and still is, I was told there was nothing they can do avoiding responsibly, since I have gone through two alternators and two batteries, I never had any issues prior to this installation now my vehicle is pretty much useless! All I wanted was a resolution!

Not the best experience I had shopping there, yesterday brought my truck in for a remote start install the service manager told me I didn't need to bring both keys in. I was told three days ago when I confirmed my appointment that I didn't need any keys because there was no need to program the keys with remote start system. Now I have to come back today,more time away from work to finish the job. Also while driving back home last night I notice Also while driving back home I notice the truck hood wasn't close properly by the technician installing the remote starter, this could of been a serious problem if the hood opened up while driving down the highway. When I returned today to have the install completed, I ask for some of compensation for my troubles,the service manager told me that it wasn't their policy Then I ask to speak to the store manager and when I spoked to him I recieved the same speech as of the service manager. I do shopping and get my vehicles service at Canadian Tire for many years,I feel it's time to find another store to do my business.
