I cannot say enough about the love and care I feel every time I come into the office whether it was a scheduled appointment or I showed up with an urgent visit. From the moment I walk in the door Julie always greets us and makes us feel welcome even though she is juggling 5 things at once. Tara... always with the biggest smile and genuinely happy around our dogs, I am comfortable with her knowledge and understanding of my my questions and concerns which makes me feel so at ease! Last but NOT least Dr. Lamora, hands down the best veterinarian I have ever met, her care for my dogs has been outstanding. Every visit she has taken the time to explain what is going on, what to expect along with any side effects that the medications/vaccinations may cause. She is thorough and has never rushed through my pets visit. I cannot say enough positive things about our experiences with Brunswick Veterinary Hospital and I don't keep my opinion to myself! :)

They got my cat in same day after a fall resulted in a swollen paw. Set us up with antibiotics and after 1 dose he is doing much better! The no contact system is very smart and well organized. Will be returning and will be switching our animals over.

I'm a new pet mom and having a vet that love and care about my baby is very important. So far I don't mind BVH, and that's mostly because of Steph, she knows her stuff, super friendly and welcoming. I try to schedule my appointments only when she's there as I welcome her opinion all the time about pooch. love that she cares for their wellbeing and not just recommending things just to recommend. The place itself is very nice, tidy, clean, and spacious both for waiting area and exam rooms. The service overall is accommodating and they always do their best to follow up with you within 24hrs the latest. Lots of parking. I would recommend

After calling several vets in the area including one that my other dog went to these guys where able to have me bring my fur baby in after dealing with police and animal control no real appointment and fixed her right up.very reasonably priced and where honest about everything they where going to do. When we picked her up after her minor surgery she was one of there family she wasnt just a dog she loved them and came out happy with no issues

We switched to Brunswick Veterinary Hospital in July, and our recent emergency has me so happy they are our vet. Our cat Parsnip was unwell so I called at 3pm, they were able to get us in for an emergency appointment at 4:30, saving us from going to the emergency vet ($$$$$). He had a urinary blockage and they stayed late to clear it and make sure he was ok. Parsnip had to stay for a few days and happens to HATE the vet. They took great care of him no matter how much he wanted to kill them. They called me one morning to say he had finally eaten overnight, so they were going to black out the room to see if it would make him more comfortable (it did!). I am a helicopter parent so I was there visiting 4+ hours a day, and they went out of their way to make sure I felt comfortable and involved in his care. I’m so happy Parsnip is home, and I’m sure they are even happier ????????

I go to the vet every month to have my dogs nails trimmed. I go this month knowing what the cost is, but strangely I asked how much it will be. It doubled in price since last month. No notice of this change. They said it is now considered a tech visit therefore the price has chanced. I know they are busy, but I feel they should notify clients of this drastic change in price.

Great experience, and wonderful care! We went for an annual checkup, and with current covid procedures we had to wsit out in our car, but our dog could bring one of his toys in to help him feel more comfortable. Dr. Burrowes was fantastic and sweet, and the whole staff is so friendly!!!

I called with concerns for my brand new little Australian shepherd puppy who I had gotten from a breeder a little bit too soon (6 weeks), who turned out to have worms which caused a few health set backs and a whole lot of anxiety for me. All of the vet techs/receptionists/veterinarians were so helpful, responsive, warm, and reassuring. I had to bring him in a few times for various reasons in the first week of having him and they were really the best. Dr.Lamora especially went totally above and beyond to answer my questions, give advice, and just all around make me feel comfortable. Growing up my family also brought our family dog Murphy, a golden retriever with a whole slew of health issues, to Brunswick Vet. and they were just as amazing with him. The best around in my families experience after bringing Murphy to a few different places before they opened up. 100% recommend to anyone. :)

My baby was taking in due to her not being able to walk. Without exrays, they knew exactly what it was. As for our other baby, she wasn't able to walk on her foot and it would rotate sides every week. The vet knew without exrays again that she had lime disease. I took my kitten here for his shots and neuter. I was pretty apprehensive about taking him anywhere during COVID as nobody is allowed in the building. I spoke to a few of my friends who use other vets and Brunswick Vet was by far the one that everyone recommended. I have zero complaints with the service we received. They were super nice and very helpful. I was not over charged nor was there anything added that was not discussed prior. I will recommend them to anyone who asks.

Being a farrier I have delt with a lot of veterinarians over the years. Dr. Lamora is out standing with her compassion for your furry family member and her knowledge of medicine. She got my cat in the same day I called and did not "over charge/take advantage " of my situation. My cat is doing great and any one close enough to this facility should take full advantage to use it. You will love your experience there as I sure did.

Due to Covid19, I couldn't go into the office with my pets. I understand this is for everyone's safety and I have no complaints about the policy but I was still nervous because my pets are elderly and I was concerned they would be stressed(1 cat, 1 dog). A technician called before their appointment to make sure all concerns were addressed during their visit then came to the car to take my pets inside, minimal contact. Dr. Burrows called twice for EACH animal as she examined them and used great communication. After paying over the phone, I picked up my pets - they were both brought out to the car. No signs of stress! I am a semi-new patient here and they are hands down the best in the area.

Knowledge and very personable staff here. The hospital is very clean and modern. We've only been going here for about a year and are pleased with our choice for veterinary care. Fortunately we have not needed anything but routine care and they do a great job providing it. Notifications when vaccines or annual care visits are needed. Quickly taken in at our scheduled appointment time and service provided in a timely manner. Cost for services is reasonable and they answer our questions clearly when needed. Highly recommend them for your pets' care. Porter gives it 5 stars!

This isn't our vet. But our vet couldn't get us in for an emergency. I had to euthanize my beloved best friend Topper. He had grown more weak and I called this place out of desperation. They made an exception for me. I was very thankful. We get there and all the gals were super sweet and loving. They came in, explained the process even with me bawling my eyes out they were incredibly patient. They give us a bit after they sedate Topper. I am forever thankful for that time to hold and snuggle him one last time. An amazing group of vets and ladies here.

Everyone is so nice and understanding. Our kitty spent 3 consecutive days there from opening to closing time under their care on IV fluids and medication. Both doctors took the time to thoroughly explain what was going on, possible outcomes and what our options were for treatment. They took the time to show me x rays and explain the bloodwork results. I know they’re very busy but they never made me feel rushed or like I was bothering them with my many questions. After being extremely sick, I’m happy to report that our kitty seems to be happy and back to his normal self. He is 12 so fingers crossed he remains healthy. Many thanks to the doctors and staff!

Brought my dog up for an emergency visit because he has scabs in his ears and on his skin. The doctor told me that it might be allergies but also told me it’s nothing to worry about and was not given anything to help combat it. She mentioned some fish oil that they have there but must not have relayed it to the receptionist (I thought I was pretty clear and said let’s try it) and I left with nothing. I was also told that they could not find any of the bumps or scabs on my dogs skin. I didn’t come up and spend $140 for you to tell me you don’t see what’s clearly all over my dog. I sent pictures in an email showing and refuting their claim and have yet to hear anything back. They did absolutely nothing after they claimed they “couldn’t see any bumps or dry skin” when it is up and down my dogs back. Did not suggest anything to me to help prevent or make me feel as though something was done to ease the concerns/conditions of my dog again, because they didn’t see what was clearly in front of them. This was my first experience here and I promise it will be my last.

Our Great Dane puppy had injured his knee at the end of February and we took him in to see the vet. We get a call that his knee was dislocated and he was all good here’s anti inflammatory medication. We asked if X-rays were done they said they would do them if he continued to have issues. Tried to make a follow up and they quote is 750-1000 for the X-rays. We thought that was pretty high and thought why didn’t you do that when we okayed the cost on the first visit so we took him to a different vet. We took him to a emergency facility that has specialist on duty 24 hours. We receive a call from the bone and joint specialist that he had a partially torn tendon that is now complete torn and requires surgical correction and inflammation of his surrounding bones. Now my baby may have permanent issues with his knee and limitations. Not only that for the amazing care we received it was only 630$ for three images specialist visit meds scripts and three techs to dedicate time to hold him for the images at 11pm at night.

When I moved to this area a little less than a year ago I brought 2 feral cats with me that I had been taking care of at my old residence. After we moved one of the cats developed a lot of swelling in her face and I knew she needed to be seen by a vet. I called several vets who would not see her because she was feral, a few more that would only see her if I brought her in a have-a-heart trap, and another who told me I could drop her off in a trap and if they had time they would look at her. This was the response I got even after telling all of them she was pretty timid and had never bitten me. When I called Brunswick they did not even care that she was feral; they were more concerned with the symptoms I described and said she should be seen. I took her over and waited in my car (rules for Covid) and they called me and told me that she had 2 abscessed teeth that needed to be removed. I left her and they took x-rays, did her surgery and gave her shots. I have had her back a few times since and every time they have been great with her; even being able to do a video visit the last time. All of the staff I have encountered are kind, thorough and knowledgeable. I will certainly continue going there and recommend them whenever I can!

Have been going here since I adopted my dog and they blow me away with every visit. My pup isn't always the bravest at the vet but they take her in with open arms and are always so friendly. She cut her foot open a few weeks ago and they took her in without an appointment, stayed open late to treat her and gave us a cone to borrow and return after she was healed. Wonderful staff!!

I had a wonderful experience at Brunswick Veterinary Hospital. Everyone I spoke with was friendly and helpful. They took excellent care of my rabbit for his neuter surgery. I was sent home with meds and given a clear explanation on how to administer those meds. While he was there they went above and beyond to make him comfortable, keeping him in a large pen with room to run around, but also away from noisy barking so he wouldn't be stressed. It was a really wonderful experience. I can't say enough good things about this place and the staff.

When we got our puppy Lulu a year ago, it was a little overwhelming trying to decide where to take her for her well visits. I am so glad we chose Brunswick Veterinary. To start, the facility is beautiful and immaculate without seeming cold or sterile. The staff are friendly, and are always excited to see Lulu. The building itself is just beautiful. It is immaculate. Most of all it is a comfortable place to talk about hard decisions....and a exciting warm place to introduce brand new patients. I am grateful to have this hospital here in Brunswick NY.

Everyone was wonderful despite the quarantine issues. I had to wait in the car while they brought him in, which was expected. They were able to see my cat, who I was very worried about, and eliminated the most urgent possible problems quickly. They communicated frequently by phone as I was outside waiting. He’s feeling quite a bit better now. I would absolutely bring any of our three kitties to this hospital.

I cannot express how much appreciation I have for Dr. LaMora and her team. My dog was very ill. She was seen by a local vet, whom we were with since she was a puppy. In 2016, she started loosing her fur at late summer, early fall. I thought this weird, for I know dogs can shed before they get their winter coats. We had her checked and our former vet said it was her Thyroid. Then for over a year, we had her on the meds for that condition, but she continued to loose her fur and began developing crusting and scaling, and rashes galore. She was tested a few months later and was positive for lyme. So now treatment for that, but her fur continued to fall out. Being an Akita, there was no such thing as “clothes” for her...I had to make clothes from children’s clothes because she lost 90% of her fur. By the fall of 2017, we were frustrated because our former vet didn’t seem to care so much to find out WHY she wasn’t getting better....we were told, change her food, go natural, vitamins...etc.....we spent a lot on switching up her diet....nothing. So I contacted Dr. LaMora’s office. She had helped with us in 2012 as a mobile pet vet....but because she didn’t have her “office” when we got this dog, we stayed at the other vet....wish I had changed sooner. When we brought her, Dr decided to offer solutions to get to the bottom of the problem..She was determined to find out what the cause of the problem was. She got my dog on antibiotics for the wounds (rash) and steroids for the itching...My dog got a skin biopsy done, which wasn’t even offered by the other vet....needless to say, Dr. LaMora was determined to help....and that she did. She found out the cause of the hair loss, infections, itching etc, and now we have our “Sofi” back. Perfect, no, she has a auto-immune disorder, but better, YES!!!!!. I highly recommend Dr. LaMora......she is one who truly cares for fur babies...at least in my eyes.....oh yes, She doesn’t need to wear kids clothes anymore....

Dr. Quirk and her staff were a professional team. In this time of the Covid 19 virus Dr. Quirk spent 30 minutes talking to us by phone as we waited in our car. We were very concerned about our wheaton terrier. Dr. Quirk spent an hour with him in the clinic. She covered all the problems he had. We felt we finally were on the right track. My dog Maggie was very sick and my own vet said they couldn't get her in. I was beside myself and called Brunswick Veterinary and they got her in within an hour. They were excellent in caring for Maggie..I have now changed to them for Maggie. Everyone I have spoken to on the phone have been courteous but due to Covid I have only seen a couple of techs who came out to the car to take Maggie in and bring her back to me. I am looking forward to meeting all the staff when this pandemic is over.

I’m finally ready to write this review! As I sit here looking at my two small dogs that were attacked and hospitalized during the holiday, I am so grateful for everyone who helped us. Brunswick Vet was absolutely amazing. My first phone call after the attack was answered by Jackie. She was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable and assisted me in finding ways to get my pups to take meds. She was so sweet and patient and above all, sympathetic and understanding that these pups are my world. When I went to Brunswick last night, I was LATE to my appointment which is so obnoxious of me and Cheyenne still took my pup to get his drains out AND I had been struggling to get him to take his meds so she administered them for me at no charge. It made my life so much easier and she was so sweet about it. After the appointment, I called freaking out and Abby answered my call. She was so kind and calm (and I was not) when I called and placed on a brief hold to get all of dog mom questions answered. She didn't make me feel nutty for my phone call and I so appreciate that. The other employees I've spoken with are Jen and Kalee. They were equally patient and kind and also treated me like my questions and phone calls were not absurd (and they kind of were). This is the vet your want to deal with in crisis. They are so compassionate and professional and help you quickly and efficiently.
